Weeks after Jehovah’s Witnesses was banned and its property confiscated by Russian government over purported links to extremism, a petition jointly opened by Non-governmental Organizations, calling for ban of the Adventist Church, has received over 12 million signatures. A notice at the Moscow City Court says hearings on a proposed ban on Seventh-day Adventist Church would begin in May 2017, according to Fox News 24. The Adventist Church has also been accused of violating an anti-terrorism legislation with their evangelism ministry.
