Memorial service for Ronald “Ron” Lee Bell, 66, of Reeds Spring, will be held at 5 p.m. July 1, 2017, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Branson. Reception will follow at the Hummingbird Inn Bed and Breakfast in Reeds Spring. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks in Hollister.

He died June 16, 2017, in Springfield.

Ron was born Feb. 3, 1951, in Wichita, Kan., son of Charles and Helen Bell. He married Sherryl Welch July 11, 1970. He was the owner of the Hummingbird Inn Bed and Breakfast in Reeds Spring. He was involved in construction as a contractor. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Branson and enjoyed sharing his faith with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Marsha Erickson; and son James Stephen “Stevie” Bell.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; children Leighton Bell and wife Susan, of Canada, Jeremy “JJ” Bell and wife Amy, of Branson and Abigail Van Every and husband Mark, of Springfield; and four grandchildren.
