Informal,  by  my  long  pioneer  GF     My  son  was  searching...  the sense,  why  he  is  living  on  Earth?  I  was  never  searching,  bec.  I  always  believed  to  God,  since  my  childhood !   My  brother  was  often  praying  with  me  before  sleeping

He  died  before  many  years   But  after  his  resurrection,  he  will  be  of  sure  our  brother,  I  know  that !  We  had  a  wonderful  understanding  in  our  life

I was a strong Catholic and taught religion to children from age 15 to 19 yr. But I had many questions that the priests would not answer. I felt that things were getting worse in the world but no one would agree with me. Then I married a draft doger during the Viet Nam war and went to Canada in 1969. His grandfather sent us literature. I recognized  the truth right away and wanted to become a Witness after I read the Truth Book and looked up the  Scriptures. But I could not find the Witnesses to ask for a study so I decided to call the priest to ask if he knew any Witnesses. He did so I was able to get a study.

I was born a Roman Catholic. I had been devoted to God since I was a child and was serving him since I was in high school. I was planning on becoming a Catholic Nun. In high school I read Matthew, which taught me many interesting things about the future that I was not being taught. Then at 17, when I was babysitting, there were Jehovah’s Witnesses' books and brochures at the home, which I read while babysitting. I saw the pictures showing how bad people would become. I said to myself, “People will NEVER get THAT bad". But at that point, I decided that I could NOT become a Nun because what I had read was so VERY different from anything taught by the Church. I always wanted to serve God, but before I devoted my life to God, I wanted to be sure that I was serving the TRUE God. So I began searching to find the truth.

 

I had ALWAYS believed that the Bible was truly God's Word and not man's, so I knew that the truth would be in the Bible. I spent the next two decades studying the Bible and searching for early copies of the Bible to learn what was REALLY God's message. It became impossible to learn the truth.

 

I always respected the way Jehovah’s Witnesses knew and used the Bible so thoroughly. So I began accepting regular "informal" return visits from two sisters who gave me the NWT Bible. But I was still not ready to study formally.

 

Many years passed. Then one day a brother came to the door and showed me the book What Does the Bible REALLY Teach?  When I saw that the Jehovah’s Witnesses had a book that actually taught what the Bible REALLY teaches, I immediately started a formal Bible study, believing that I had FINALLY found the TRUTH!!! As I started learning what the Bible REALLY says, I quickly learned that (1) "JEHOVAH"  was God's name! And I saw similar pictures to what I had seen when I was young which show how bad people would become. Since it was decades since I last saw those pictures, I could see that (2) this prophesy had COME TRUE! These two things proved to me that Jehovah’s Witnesses MUST have God’s truth!

What a joy to see him again! I’m sure once you learned the Truth it made your belief in Jehovah God so much stronger! Their is nobody like Jehovah God. His Beloved Son, Christ Jesus loves us so much also. A wonderful King ? He will be at His Father’s Right Hand.
