Dogs are amazing, I remember when we had to meet at a JW family house for our Kingdom Hall was damaged by an earthquake. When I attended meetings, their dog used to come to me and try to pee, I had to hold his paw and put it down. I was not sure if it was because the daughter didn't  talk to me because her boyfriend  used to visit my home or it was because the dog sniffed the smell of my dogs on me ??

I called the dog: ¡perro mion! 

"miar" is a slang for orinar/urinate in my country ?
