RUSSIA CALLS " DAY OF JUDGEMENT " ON JEHOVAH WITNESSES AS POLICE, FSB AND OTHER FORCES IN 9 DIFFERENT REGIONS IN RUSSIA CONDUCTS AGGRESSIVE RAIDS ON JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES CONFISCATING PROPERTIES AND  DETAINING BOTH YOUNG AND OLD FOR INTERROGATION. 

On 10, 18, 19  20 April 2018 and even recently on may 17 2018, a series of searches were carried out in the homes of citizens suspected of Jehovah's Witnesses in bashkortostan, murmansk region, seaside province and ivanovo region and other regions. 

In what appears to be a coordinated campaign, special police forces (OMON), at times wearing masks and carrying machine guns, raided WitnessesÂ’ homes, pointed guns at them,destroying properties and valuables and detaining both young and old for interrogations.

The searches were conducted almost simultaneously, with the participation of armed riot policemen, who acted extremely rudely.During one of the searches, official officers invaded the believers and placed a pistol in the neighbor's head in the communal apartment, although the man did not offer resistance, and forced this peaceful man to lay on the ground, so that he remained in that position for about 15 minutes.The man was threatened with handcuffs to prevent him from obtaining legal advice by phone.
 

In the evening, Roman Markin was at home with his 16-year-old daughter. At 19:40 the door to their apartment was knocked out by special forces. Threatening with weapons, they were forced to lie down on the floor and searched. Markin's daughter was taken away and interrogated until 3 am. In another place an elderly man opened a door to a group of armed special forces, and they pushed him so violently that he fell. By their actions, law enforcers hurt two more women who were visiting. Adolescents, siblings, were put to the wall and ordered to keep their arms outstretched. A total of 17 citizens were searched, all electronic devices were seized and taken to the interrogation, which lasted until 7am the following day. 
In one of the regions, the officer said to the witnesses:“You will be let go as soon as you state that you are not a member of the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” In another case, an officer also  told a victim: “We are ridding the earth of you.” All the Witnesses were taken to the police station for fingerprinting and further questioning.
Officers raided the home of Anatoliy Vilitkevich and arrested him. They told his wife that she would not see her husband “for a long time.” Just like Dennis, authorities have charged him under Article 282.2(1) of the Criminal Code with ‘organizing the activity of an extremist organization’ and are holding him in pretrial detention until June 2, 2018.

If convicted, he faces up to ten years in prison. . 
It must be noted that in october 2016,the law enforcement officers came to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in russia, and stated that the building could have weapons. As expected, weapons were not found, but banned brochures were demonstratively  "discovered". The epidemic of such falsifications led to the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, which caused arrests of believers.

All searches and arrests were the direct consequences of the Russian Supreme Court decision liquidating and banning all legal entities of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia.
