You actually do not believe exactly the opposite. You believe exactly the same. (which worries me) The junk science Ford rails at is the sort of science that is not funded by big business and gov

I think the phrase "Don't land your personal airplane on an airport taxiway"  might be appropriate for this guy.

He is a fine actor, but he is originally a carpenter by trade, who reads lines well, and had the looks to be a a movie star.

On this issue, he is still an actor ... reading someone elses' lines.

Sometimes I think ‘junk science’ means nothing more than science not funded by big business or government

I believe exactly the opposite.

It is usually the "Government", and "Big Business" that promotes junk science because there is so much money to be had by those in government AND big business to either inflate their organizational Empires, or siphon vested interest money into their friends' and their own pockets.

Ever notice that when technical and other Patent's expire, the now cheaper stuff, Freon being the classic example, becomes illegal?

The most classic example of this is the fantasy that "Global Warming" is mankinds' fault, or that the Ozone layer is being depleted by mankind''s actions.

There is a LOT of money to be made, and a lot of Socialism to be advanced by forcing this "junk science" onto the mainstream agenda. The whole concept of "Carbon Credits" does both, for the brokers, like Al Gore.

While volcanoes send billions  of tons of noxious chemicals around the world, back home we are banning ASTHMA INHALERS, because the exhaled propellant is SUPPOSED to be destroying the Earth.

It's absolute LUNACY ... and very, very profitable junk science.

The junk science Ford rails at is the sort of science that is not funded by big business and government. It is the sort of science whose backers do all they can to discredit, even sending sending in an advocate of ‘The Force’

Look, just accept that I am right and save both of us a lot of trouble.

Don’t let this be another Sarah and the Terminator where you showed me a brief clip and I asked ‘Did the Terminator help Sarah and take out the bad attendants?’ and you fussed and fumed and lectured me on how it was my duty to mankind to watch all movies such as this and you finally after much righteous prodding on my part uttered the unsportsmanlike ‘I confess you could worry the horns off a billy goat’ and you showed the complete segment that you could have shown in the first place and it was exactly as I said: the Terminator came to the rescue of Sarah and took out the bad attendants.

Harrison Ford believes with all his heart in global warming and he dismisses as junk science anything that would discredit it.

That makes MY supposition absolutely correct, and your many words to obfuscate the issue notwithstanding ... YOUR supposition exactly WRONG.

Seriously, you need to UNDERSTAND what you comment on.
