There is peace, civility, and stability in slavery.

I am from Richmond, Virginia ... former Capitol of the Confederate States of America ... and I grew up with a 6 foot Confederate Flag on the wall behind my bed headboard.  Well into adulthood, long after I was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, tears would come into my eyes when I heard the song "Dixie".

.... but about 1960 I was exposed to two things ... the writings of Thomas Jefferson, and the writings of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

About two years before I submitted myself for baptism (under the pre-1985 dedication vows .... NOT what we have today, which includes "Question Number Two" ...) I read and subscribed to this Credo .... which was before my pre-1985 Dedication Vows, and still controls ... and in which I find NO INCOMPATIBILITY.

There is slavery and there is injustice from worldly governments and the slavery which Christ calls us to - which is totally different.   There is also fleshly thinking and spiritual thinking.  The principals of Jehovah will definitely be slavery to some people. 

I recall doing field service in South Africa during the apartheid / segregation years.  If some of those whiteys learn they have to live with black people in the new world they would decline to speak to us - similar to the militant black people who belong to the "five pennies" religion or the black Israelite movement.   This is slavery to them or something beneath them.  They close the kingdom for themselves by their attitudes.

Well one can apply this lesson to almost anything.  How many people close the kingdom for themselves because of their unyielding attitudes - they are the first that will call yielding a form of slavery.

Back to square one then. How are those of the Earthly Class supposed to know who are the true Anointed. If we do not know then we do not know who to listen to. 

For my part I've come to a brick wall in all of it now. In my opinion only the true Anointed can tell us the way, but God and /or Jesus Christ have not shown me who they are. Hence my feelings that I have no chance of surviving Armageddon / the Judgement Day. 

Also you say 'Jesus did tell us to dig' but as I've said before, in my opinion the Scriptures were written for those of the Anointed only, not for the rest of us. Hence Jesus was telling the Anointed to dig not us.

Jesus talks about us of the earthly class as, 'Other sheep' 'not of that fold'. 

Therefore it can be seen that Jesus is talking about us, not to us. 

 

 

The Ethiopian eunuch was striving to understand what he was reading in the book of Isaiah.  Through Holy Spirit, Phillip is directed to go to him and explain the scriptures. Acts 8:26-31  The man, once comprehending and believing Christ as his savior, was baptized.  To me, this explains the role of the anointed ones, which is to teach others about Christ and God’s Kingdom. 

Mal 2:7 - “For the lips of a priest (1 Pet 2:5,9,10) should keep knowledge,
And people should seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.”

John 7:38,39; Rev 22:17

The scriptures offer guidance to everyone.  The symbolism of water baptism opens the way for God to guide all of us through “living waters”.

Jesus answered, "If you knew the gift of God, and who is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would ask him, and he would give you living water."  John 4:10

As Satan’s world spirals down to nothing, the clear message about Christ has become severely skewed by false prophets, false teachers.   The message that the anointed must teach, has been tainted as they listen to those who rule over them.    Rev 8:11; 13:11,14-17   I remember reading in a Watchtower not long ago, how it was explained that there was intense focus on Christ in the early days of the organization, but it had to be changed to focus on “Jehovah’s name”.  I was appalled at realizing how far from the teachings in the scriptures the WT had fallen.  They have reorganized and twisted scriptures to their liking causing  Christ’s message to be bridled, and his anointed oppressed.  The teachings of Christ are progressively suppressed to make way for the glorification of the teachings of men….yet, it is all done in the name of Jesus Christ! 

This is how Satan successfully deceives, by giving us bits and pieces of truth to help an individual on the edge of falling into his trap, become prepped to swallow his lies through his agents.  2 Cor 11:4,13-15

The anointed under the “woman” covenant are fully tested by Satan as God allows, and this test is magnified  as the end draws close.   Luke 22:31; Rev 12:4,13,14,17;Gal 4:26   Jesus’ teachings were preparing his Temple/priests who would be serving all of mankind in the Kingdom. He’s basically saying, I’ve chosen these individuals who must be thoroughly refined and found worthy to teach and serve you in the Kingdom.  Pay attention to my sayings, make sure their words are true, since many will fall away from me and “malign the truth”.  2 Pet 2:1-3  Follow my teachings and warnings about them, about the Kingdom, and submit to the guidance from the Father in all of this, so that you receive eternal life.   Jesus had flocks of people hanging on to these words, as did the apostles.  (1 Cor 1:1,2)

 So, his teachings and those of the apostles are fitting for all of us, giving guidelines and warnings to comprehend how the anointed are to be ready for the Kingdom; and what they, and all of us will face when Satan comes down hard in the last days.  Which is now. It is imperative to heed what scriptures teach us about Satan's deceptions; since the Marriage Feast, which is the unfurling of Revelation’s meanings, holds out an invitation to all – to all who are leaving the “city”, which you have.  Dan 12:4; Rev 1:1; Matt 22:1-14; Rev 22:17

 I just want to mention again that your interpretation of Revelation and Matt 24 is no different than Watchtower’s worldly view of looking at politics for fulfillment, but with possibly different players.   

If we are to be “no part of the world”, our attention would not be on the world at the time of Jesus’ return. We would be looking into ourselves.   We would be desiring to gather as a Body once leaving a wicked slave’s rule, up-building and helping them be successful at defeating Satan’s deception.  I can’t take in your worldly views when it is very clear that the “holy place” is not Warwick, but is the Temple of God. 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22   I believe I’ve given you many scriptures to verify this, but I have not really seen scriptures to support your ideas.

Please, try to comprehend the words:

Observation!  You believe the world will observe Warwick being plastered with political symbols! 

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. ² By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, ³ and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. There is a difference between being 'inspired' and being led by holy spirit.  The Holy Spirit has many functions and all these various functions produce results in line with Jehovah's purpose.  In times of Apostles some preached, some healed, some produced the scriptures, some spoke in languages.... all different results but fulfilling Jehovah's purpose.

I don't dispute what is written in 1 Cor 3:16,17; "Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that the spirit of God dwells in you? 17  If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.

Eph 2:20-22  and you have been built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, while Christ Jesus himself is the foundation cornerstone.21  In union with him the whole building, being harmoniously joined together, is growing into a holy temple for Jehovah. 22  In union with him you too are being built up together into a place for God to inhabit by spirit.

But in the same time as we the anointed are in a spiritual sense a temple of God, because God has put his spirit in us, there exist material places of worship where anointed ones live and serve. I mean the Warwick fortress of Jehovah's witnesses.

We should not overly simplify the concept of temple. In Daniel it speaks about an other kind of temple than in those verses cited above. There it says:

Daniel11:31  And arms will stand up, proceeding from him; and they will profane the sanctuary, the fortress, and remove the constant feature.

This speaks about the King of the North. He will send forces to the sanctuary and the fortress and remove the constant feature. Here it says fortress. What is that? If the word 'temple' stumbles someone because it could as well be applied to the anointed according to apostle Pauls word, but here it is not even written temple, but fortress. Watchtowers have often also been built strong and have served as fortresses in ancient times. And here we have the Watchtower organization behind security fences and iron gates residing in a building that really resembles a fortress. You can not just walk in there. They have strong security measures there. 

And what is the 'constant feature'? I can only draw a parallell to the constant spiritual food that has come out from the Watchtower organization more than 100 years.

I don't think we should clump together Daniel 11:31 with 1Corinthians 3:16,17 or Ephecians 2:20-22. Because they arw not talking about the same thing.

If the anointed Body functions as one, Holy Spirit flows through each anointed in the capacities that you mentioned.  Do you know the gifts that you speak of, that are given to each anointed?  Are those gifts used by the GB? 

The “gifts in men” refer to the anointed gifts.  It has nothing to do with the elders as the GB promotes.  Yet, this scriptural fact is hidden purposefully, so all that is taught by the GB is employed by the elders.  The anointed and their God-given gifts lay untouched.

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism; ⁶ one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.  But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.⁸ This is why it says:

“When he ascended on high,
    he took many captives
    and gave gifts to his people.”

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, ¹² to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up ¹³ until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

JWs are unaware of the possible “works of service” the anointed are to give.  Only, a Wicked Slave would hide Christ’s true words from all JWs.  Those who were “called” are the anointed.  If found faithful, they become sealed into Zion.  1 Pet 5:10; Rev 17:14

A true joined Body of Christ would allow inspiration from Holy Spirit to flow through each anointed one, no matter what their personal gift would be.  They would all know the truth, because they are all part of Christ.  1 Cor 12:27; 2 Cor 1:21,22; 1 John 2:27

"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.⁵ “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.  John 15:4,5

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."  John 15:5

The GB cannot expect to be inspired by Holy Spirit if they have cut themselves off from the members of Christ…which they have.  

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” ²² On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, ²³ and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty,²⁴ while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it,²⁵ so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.  1 Cor 12:21-25

By directing an elder body as the teachers of the people, there is a huge chasm separating the anointed from the GB.  Who promoted this?  Christ, who expects the Body to be joined as one and working for the benefit of the entire body?  Can you see the GB says to the anointed, "I don't need you"?

Mal 2:7 - “For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.

1 Pet 2:5,9,10 – “you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

Unfortunately this does not add up with what Jesus said to his disciples:

6  You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for these things must take place, but the end is not yet.+7  “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom,+and there will be food shortages+ and earthquakes in one place after another.+ 8  All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.(.....)15  “Therefore, when you catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken about by Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place+ (let the reader use discernment), 16  then let those in Ju·deʹa begin fleeing to the mountains.

33  Likewise also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors.

Jesus clearly recommends to see and look for the fulfilment of the sign he gave.

So you are saying all anointed would have speaking of tongues, write bible books, prophecy - basically all  have the same gifts?  Why would they then need each other if all could do it all?  Sorry - this is simplifying the spirit Jehovah has and which he gives. 

The spirit does give all the same qualities - of love , peace, joy etc. as mentioned in Gal 5:22 because it flows to all produce these qualities in all .... but the 'gifts' are given as needed.  So different brothers ha ve different gifts.
