THE TROUBLED MIND...

In the annals of my mind
There is a hidden pond
If into it I were to peer
For days it would go on

I choose to keep it hidden
I do not bring it out
For I’d suffer grief and pain
I’d seek another route

Why must we suffer in this life
A firm grip Satan holds
On many who seek to hurt us
In pain that’s still untold

As hard as we may try
To heal from searing pain
There is only one way out
When Jehovah’s love we gain

When we seek to find his love
In meditation and prayer
We find a sweet release
It’s waiting for us there
