The letters below are an exchange between an elder and a past member of the organization, an anointed priest under Christ’s headship. The elder’s first sentence echoes the belief that only the Wt will lead people into “truth”, and “who” are doing the leading. As one member here recently said to an ex-JW, “ but you haven't suggested an alternate location/theology whereby Christians can come together and build up their faith on a regular basis.”
Please consider the reply to the elder.
From the elder:
My dear Rachel
The "who" today would be the faithful slave as mentioned in Matthew 24:45. These Brothers have taught us the truth about Jehovah, Jesus the Trinity, Hell Fire, the Soul and I could go on and on. Again I say you offer no alternative. Not only spiritual truths, but that faithful slave spends hundreds of millions of dollars a year in relief aid to people in need. As for you and your "group" Jesus well described you in Matthew 25:26 as "wicked and sluggish". You offer no words of comfort, you offer no words of hope, only criticism of those whos sole mission is to help others strengthen their faith.
Take the time to examine the history of God's people on earth. Jehovah has always brought them together as an organization. He has done the same today with the only organization that fulfills the commission at Matthew 24:14 to PREACH the GOOD NEWS of GOD'S KINGDOM in all the INHABITED EARTH. Name 1 other church, religion or group that is doing that? NOT ONE. I am praying for the scales to fall off of your eyes and for you to ask Jehovah for guidance and faith.
-----My email response----
It is nice to hear from you again, A. I am very familiar with the interpretation of Matthew 24:14 by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania corporation. Admittedly, I used to defend Watchtower as the only religion that is fulfilling preaching the good news, and boasted in them being the “channel” used by God, this “mountain-like” organization. The equating of Watchtower to God is subtle, but now, obvious. The perception that if one “leaves” Watchtower, one has “left Jehovah,” and is encouraged to “return to Jehovah.”
You had initially asked what alternative to worship I was offering…you said, “where” else will one go! Perhaps you expected I might offer another organized religion as a replacement. However, bringing attention to John 6:68, Simon Peter did not ask Jesus where to go, but rhetorically asked Jesus, “to whom would we go?” You have the words of eternal life.” In your last email, you claimed that the “who” spoken of in John 6:68 is referring to the “faithful slave,” the eight leaders of the Watchtower religious organization that teach “the truth.” Jesus is “truth” (John 14:6).
Let’s first consider the ancient nation of Israel, and the covenant between them and God. According to the pattern Moses was shown, only priests were permitted to minister in the temple sanctuary (Ex.25:9,40; 26:30). The nation of Israel however, time and again, became wayward, and engaged in idolatry setting up and worshiping images (1 Kings 11:4,5; 2 Kings 17:7-18; Isa.59:1,2; Jer.3:7-10), and at times, ignoring the priesthood arrangement whereby not consecrated individuals engaged in priestly duties, something also strictly forbidden (2 Chron.23:6; 26:16; 1 Sam.6:1-23).
Of course, the old covenant was made obsolete, replaced by the new covenant with Jesus as high priest (Luke 22:20; Heb.8:1,13; 2 Cor.3:6). But why is the old covenant relevant? Because the old covenant was a “copy and shadow” of the better promise, the kingdom of heaven eternal priesthood that comprises the kingdom of heaven made certain through the blood of Christ, the final redemption (Acts 13:32; Heb.8:5,6, 10-12; 9:15; Gal.3:13).
This is important to remember when we talk about the gospel of the kingdom/good news spoken in Matthew 24:14 because the “good news” is not novel. Throughout the Old Testament, the “good news” was delivered as a prophetic message to the nation of Israel by prophets chosen and sent by God. When we examine the pattern of “good news,” we find that it is a message of judgment by God on Israel because they broke their covenant, but also of peace through God’s promise of restoration of a repentant remnant, returning to their cities and land and rebuilding of the temple (Nahum 1:15; Isaiah 40:9; 41:27; 52:7; 61:1; Zech.13:8,9; Isa.44:28; Jer.31).
The good news prophetically foretold the future fulfillment of God’s promise to “make a new covenant with the house of Israel” where God will put His “law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts,” forgiving “their iniquities” and remembering “their sins no more” (Jer.31:31-34; Heb.8:6-13). Now, notice the same message of good news proclaimed by John the Baptist, Jesus, and the apostles.
“Before the arrival of Jesus,” John the Baptist “preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel” (Acts 13:24), “for the forgiveness of sins” (Mark 1:1-4; Luke 3:3), instructing the Israelites to believe in Jesus (Matt.3:1-17; Acts 19:4). Afterward, Jesus preached the good news/gospel of the kingdom “first to Jerusalem,” proclaiming peace, and announcing salvation through repentance – the better promise, the “kingdom of heaven,” was “at hand”/”near” (Luke 24:47; Eph.2:17; Mark 1:14; Matt.4:17; Luke 16:16; 8:1; John 16:33).
It was first to the House of Israel, the Jewish people who were under the old covenant that Jesus, “the Lamb of God,” was sent, to take away “the sins of the world” (John 1:29; Mark 1:38; Acts 13:23). The “world” that hated Jesus and hated his disciples was not the entire world/system, but the Jewish system led by Jewish religious leaders (John 17:15,16; John 15:18-19; 18:36). If the Jews repented and received God’s Son, they would receive grace, be freed from the transgression of the law, and receive the “better promise,” of which they were in line to receive as natural heirs (John 3:16,17; Acts 2:38,39; Eph.2:8,9).
God’s promises to Abraham’s descendants spoke of an inheritance of land with boundaries/territories they would inhabit (Gen.15:18-21; Josh.13 through 21). Notice the Israelites were prophesied to “be a land,” (Mal.3:12), a “land that will be his bride” (Isa.62:4). Whose bride? Jesus’, as he is head of his bride congregation, “new Jerusalem” (Rev.21:2,9; 19:7-9; John 3:29).
With repentance and faith in Christ, “the lost sheep of Israel,” would inherit the better promise, the kingdom of heaven, not a literal land with a rebuilding of a literal temple/Jerusalem (Matt.24:14; 25:1; 10:5-7; Heb.7:22; 8:6; 11:13-16; 12:24; Gal.3:18). But, even Jerusalem’s temple priests refused to accept the spiritual promise. They were physical, desiring to hold onto their positions of prominence in the physical temple, boasting in their Jewish lineage, being Abraham’s descendants, natural heirs (John 8:33,39; Matt.3:9). They rejected the better promise, and so Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it” (Matt.21:43).
Nation? What nation? Well, notice after Jesus’ death, the apostles continued to proclaim the message of good news to the Israelites (Rom.10:16; Acts 13:46; 14:7,15,21; 28:23,31; 1 Cor.9:16,18; Heb.4:2; Gal.1:8,11), a message they continued to reject (Rom.10:16; Acts 13:46; 14:7,15,21; 28:23,31; 1 Cor.9:16,18; Heb.4:2; Gal.1:8,11; Rom.10:1-4).
Regarding his preaching to the Israelites, Paul said he had preached to “all the earth, and to the ends of the world” (Rom.10:18). Did he mean that he preached the good news throughout the whole globe? No, he meant that the gospel had been thoroughly preached to all the “earth”/a dwelling/occupied land, the natural heirs to the kingdom of God, the Israelites, within their “world”/religious system (Rom.10:16-21; Heb.3:6). The kingdom of God, now, no longer comprised of only the tribes of natural Hebrew-speaking Jewish people, but to “every nation, from all tribes and peoples and language,” extending to God-fearing Gentiles who upon accepting the gospel and repenting, would receive God’s mercy (Acts 13:46; Rev.7:9; Acts 10:35; 13:26,46-48; Rom.1:5; Gal.2:2,8).
God told Abraham, “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice” (Gen.22:18). Now, individuals from all nations would be called to become “fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus” (Eph.3:6; Acts 13:32-42, 46; Rom.10:16-19; 1 Pet.2:10; Rev.5:9,10). Paul said that this was the mystery of the good news revealed to him, that “the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus” (Eph.3:3,6).
The “glorious riches of this mystery” is not a physical temple, but “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col.1:26,27). “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise” (Gal.3:29). Paul said this mystery had been “kept secret since the world began” (Rom.16:25). Since the actual “world” began? Remember, this reference refers to a religious system, and Paul, just as Jesus, was referring to the present Jewish system (Eph.3:6; Gen.17:7).
This promised kingdom of heaven was likened, by Jesus, to a seed, “a mustard seed that a man planted” in his field (Matt.13:31; Luke 13:19)…seeds that when planted, grow in either good soil, rocky or shallow soil, or among thorns (Matt.13:3-8). Who is the farmer? Jesus said he “is the true vine” and his “Father is the gardener” (John 15:1). As a Farmer, God cultivates the “earth” planting “seeds,” but not all seeds grow to be “healthy trees,” trees that bear healthful fruit, some become “diseased trees” bearing bad fruit (Matt.7:17-20). Seeds that grow into good trees do not bear bad fruit, “nor does a bad tree bear good fruit” (Luke 6:43). How will you recognize whether a “tree,” one “of the earth”/heir to the kingdom, is producing “fine fruit”? Jesus said “by their fruit,” you will recognize them (Matt.7:20). Now, fruit is likened to “lips,” so we discern that a “diseased tree”/false teacher/false prophet will be recognized by their sayings/teachings/failed predictions (Matt.7:16-20; John 15:1-17; Heb.13:1; Deut.18:20-22). Matthew 7:16 quoted from the Amplified Bible says it concisely: “By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]…”.
“See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains” (James 5:7). God is patiently waiting to see whether His children, those of the earth, will remain attached to His son, “the vine,” and “bear much fruit,” truthful teachings that last, not rot and expire (John 15:1-8,16).
Now we must ask ourselves, were the prophecies, the promise of inheritance, that God’s people would receive a multi-billion dollar religious organization/compound to live on? Jesus had “no place to lay his head,” (Matt. 8:20), and the apostle Paul rented a house (Acts 28:30). Jesus could have easily directed a physical temple/religious structure be set up to restore pure worship, but did he? No, The temple Jesus spoke about was “temple of his body,” a “spiritual house, a holy priesthood,” “God’s building” constructed of “living stones” (John 2:21; 1 Cor.3:9; 1 Pet.2:5).
The gospel of God is a priestly service, one that is carried out by those sanctified by the Holy Spirit to “minister” in “the priestly service of the gospel of God” (John 15:16; Rom.15:16). Who chooses such ones to perform the priestly service? God Himself selects those who are “built together to become a dwelling place which God lives by his Spirit,” the people He formed to proclaim His praises and to give testimony (Isa.43:10,21; Rev.12:10,11; Eph.2:22; 1 Pet.2:9).
Not all will be able to understand what Jesus is saying, not even all who are spiritual heirs (Matt.16:4). Why? They do “not accept the things of the Spirit of God” and “cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor.2:14). “Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?” (Luke 12:56) Without spiritual discernment, one will be as a “natural man,” and will falsely apply physical interpretations to the spiritual signs given by Jesus (Luke 17:20-24; 11:29; Matt.12:39; 2 Cor.4:18).
You asked me to name one group that has preached the good news worldwide. Who has convinced you that God backslid on His “better promise” of a new covenant, established since Christ’s death, and demanded that his spiritual temple be a physical organization? That would be exactly the pattern of backsliding ancient Israel engaged in, a form of idolatry (Jer.3:11-22)! “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands…” (Acts 7:48). “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands” (Acts 17:24). “What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” (2 Cor.6:16).
There are members of the body that together, uphold Jesus’ truthful teachings and do preach the good news worldwide...not connected to a physical organized religion (John 15:16). Remember, the prophetic message of peace was proclaimed announcing good news that a remnant of ancient Israel would repent of their rebelliousness and idolatry and restore their covenant with God (2 Chron.29:6; 36:14; Ezra 9:7; Neh.1:6; Ezek.11:14-20). “These things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whims the end of ages has come” (1 Cor.10:11,12). Despite this warning, in the last days, God’s household/spiritual Israel (Rom.2:28; 9:6; Phil.3:3) will “harden their hearts” and be “deceived by sin” (Heb.3:12-19). The spiritual priesthood is replaced, silenced, and trampled by those not consecrated to perform spiritual sacrifices (Matt.24:15,16; 2 Thess.2:1-4). Yet, a final remnant of spiritual Israel will repent, leave their idolatrous ways, and through the sacrifice of the “Lamb of God,” restore the “body of Christ” (Rev.2:5; 12:11). This is the good news!
If you want to follow a group of eight anointed that have become rebellious and created a physical organization, replacing the eternal priesthood with non-spirit anointed Gentiles, destroying His temple, stay, it is your choice! But be warned, if you stay, you WILL share in her sins (Rev.18:4; Ezek.44:6-9; Zech.4:6,7; Heb.8:5; 1 Cor.3:17).
“Repent, for the Kingdom of heavens is near” (Matt.4:17).
They state they were appointed as the “faithful and discreet slave”.
A question frequently asked, since they are not inspired, how did they receive this message from God, to know they should appoint themselves in this position? Use some logical reasoning; they compare themselves to not only the apostles but even Moses – all inspired men, prophets and teachers chosen personally by God and Jesus Christ. It takes total arrogance to make the assumption that God chose them to lead 8 million people, without inspiration from the Holy Spirit. It takes total blindness for these people to believe that He has! (Exod 3:10-12; John 15:16; Acts 9:15) (Mark 4:12; 1 Cor 2:14)
Since they are not inspired, they lean on their “Helpers” to share the workload of putting food on the spiritual table. (Ezek 44:6-9) Are the Helpers inspired? Someone has to be, in order to live up to their proclamation that God directs the organization.
What about the anointed ones in the congregations? (Male or female – God is not partial, Gal 3:28; Rom 2:29) Could they have some “inspiration” to share? Do they know truth? (1 John 2:27)
If they did act on the spirit given them through an anointing, what happens if their heart tells them that the GB are wrong in their teachings? (2 Cor 1:21,22) What happens if they choose to speak up, to defend truth? To defend Jesus Christ as their Head? (Eph 4:25; 1 Tim 2:5-7) They are ignored, silenced, and very possibly, disfellowshipped. (Ray Franz, as an example – one of probably thousands over the last century) (John 16:2; Rev 13:15) There is a huge army in place to take care of these matters - men, not appointed by God although JWs in general believe that once again, God even directs their appointment. (Dan 7:25; 8:24; Rev 9:4;13:7) Can’t you see? The appointments by men are preferred over the authentic anointed appointments by God.
Let me tell you why God has nothing to do with appointing elders. When my husband was approached to be an elder, the body wrote the Society of their consideration; but also to let them know he wore a beard for medical reasons. (These men were desperate for help) The letter they received back said it was up to the body of elders to appoint him, and to be aware of possible consequences for their choice. There was no Holy Spirit involved, no prayer uttered; only the opinion of men from the top, down to the congregation level just like it happens in any other organization. Up to that point I had believed that the GB actually prayed over each elder appointment, and received the answer from God. In fact, an elder told me this. Don’t be fooled, JWs. God would not choose men to serve Him, when His priests were anointed specifically to fill the role as shepherds. (Mal 2:7; John 21:17; Matt 28:16-20; John 15:8; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Rom 12:1; Gal 6:9)
“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, a curse be on him! As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!” Gal 1:8,9
If the GB was directed by Christ’s Holy Spirit, the Spirit would aid in leading the anointed members together, to teach truth. Jesus performed miracles while on the earth, couldn’t he do the same from heaven? The GB cannot claim to be a “faithful slave” of Christ, yet also reject their own brotherhood. (1 Cor 12; 1 John 3:10-12; Matt 24:48-51)
“Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.” Rom 12:16
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” 1 Pet 5b,6
Or, are some of these men total imposters in more ways than one. If anointed, they have become “Israel’s” harlots by transgressing their covenant of life in Christ. (Rev 17:1-6) Yet, perhaps some are total “Gentile” imposters, never to have been anointed to begin with – never appointed as a priest of God. (1 Pet 2:5,9)
And no - if they reject their anointed brotherhood, refusing to acknowledge each member as necessary; refusing to acknowledge that this anointed body when working together would soar in speaking God’s truths, they are no longer under the covenant of life. They have disconnected from the Head and become the “head” of the body they have chosen, the “Gentile” elders. (Rev 11:1,2)
“ Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.” Col 2:16-19
Wake up, JWs. These men have shoved the anointed in Christ, into a back corner. (Isa 51:23) Selfish power, not love, is their driving force in this organization. Power over you, and especially over “Israel”. (Ezek 21:21,22,24,25) Deceit, not truth, is the driving spirit behind this organization and its leadership. (Matt 24:24) It is established on the ground, and in the realm where politics, riches, power and authority has become the bedrock of the GB’s “inspiration”. What spiritual entity offers these things? (Luke 4:5-7; Rev 9:1; 13:11) What spiritual entity would just as soon destroy Christ, and those part of his Body? (Rev 12:3,4,7) Can’t you see that this signifies a spiritual war based on deceit? (Eph 6:12;Rev 13:5-7; 16:13-16) The holy priesthood has been absorbed into a nation and has lost its identity. It appears that they would rather remain captive to falsehoods, than to open the door for Christ. ( Matt 25:6;Rev 3:18-20) Oh, how I wish all of you would leave darkness behind; and simply, turn to the light and truth of Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)
The opposition that I usually receive to comments such as this, is in defense of the GB and the organization; whereas the Temple priesthood means little to nothing. (1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22) There is no defense given for Jesus Christ. (Dan 8:25) What sort of heavy spiritual blindness are JWs under that would cause them to exalt a man-made corporation, over a heavenly Temple/House built by God? (Rev 13:1,2,4; 16:13-16) The pride that JWs carry in their heart, in believing that doctrine of men and proven falsehoods can be called truth…believing that God has blessed their efforts through manpower (no inspiration by God remember? Zech 4:6)...while His house/dwelling/Temple of “living stones” lies in ruins, will ultimately bring them to their knees. (Ezek 21:6,7; Luke 19:41-44; 2 Thess 2:9-12; Rev 18:4-8)
You reside in the “home” of the man of lawlessness – the disgusting thing that “sits” in the Temple of God and “tramples”/rules over the anointed priesthood. How I wish you could perceive this danger. (Matt 24:15,16; 2 Thess 2:3,4)
“But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Cor 4:2-6

This is a very short 3 1/2 minute video. No speech is given, just written reasoning using the organization's own quotes.
Besides what the video presents, please consider this:
"And just as a child seeks his parents' protection when a storm rages, we seek protection in Jehovah's organization" (w11 4/15 pp. 3-5)
"We should also cling tightly to ‘our rock,’ Jehovah, as well as to his organization." (w06/2/1 pg. 32)
"There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord,
Nor are there any works like Yours." Ps 86:8
"There is no one holy like the Lord,
Indeed, there is no one besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God. " 1 Sam 2:2
“Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like Me" Isa 46:9
Where in the Word of God, does it state that we are obligated to attach ourselves to an earthly mess of an organization? Where does it state that God and the Wt. go hand in hand? In the light of its sins of child abuse and trampling down of the anointed ones(2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2), look what your organization boasts:
"For example, the Bible says of Jehovah: “The Rock, perfect is his activity, for all his ways are justice.
Because Jehovah’s servants follow divine, not human, standards, his organization is theocratic, clean, and wholesome." (w 98/9/1 pg 13
HOW DARE YOUR LEADERS COMPARE AN ORGANIZATION BUILT WITH FALSE TEACHINGS, GREED AND SLAVERY...TO YHVH.
Dear Mr. Sanderson,
In your most recent video on modesty, I was surprised by your audacious and hypocritical comment on the following account in 2 Chron 26:16-18:
But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense. 17 Azariah the priest with eighty other courageous priests of the Lord followed him in. 18 They confronted King Uzziah and said, “It is not right for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord. That is for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who have been consecrated to burn incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful; and you will not be honored by the Lord God.”
You responded by saying, “Can you imagine, he became so emboldened, that he actually went into Jehovah’s temple and burned incense on the altar of incense. Well, the priests came running, and what did they say to him? (see) verse 18, ‘It is not proper for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Jehovah. It is only the priests that should burn incense.’”
Incense offerings were decreed to corresponded with the daily sacrifices by the early priesthood of Israel. (Exod 30:34-38; Lev 2:2 (etc); Num 4:16) We see its importance in the account of Korah challenging the assigned priesthood and its duties. Although he was given duties by God as a member of the tribe of Levi, he desired to usurp the authority God gave Moses and Aaron.
“So when Moses heard it, he fell on his face; 5 and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, “Tomorrow morning the Lord will show who is His and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to Him. That one whom He chooses He will cause to come near to Him. 6 Do this: Take censers, Korah and all your company; 7 put fire in them and put incense in them before the Lord tomorrow, and it shall be that the man whom the Lord chooses is the holy one. You take too much upon yourselves, you sons of Levi!” Num 16:4-7
We know the outcome of his rebellion, “…the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up”. (Num 16:32) When the Wt. wrote of this event, it made it very clear of the consequences Korah suffered by his presumptuous actions, a word you used about Uzziah. However, as the article then presumptuously and boldly proclaimed, the “daily sacrifices” with the “burning of incense”, is to be administered not by God’s appointed priesthood, but as the article alludes to, by the elder body, who by and large are not anointed priests.
“Representing the royal priesthood are appointed elders, who serve in positions of responsibility in congregations of Jehovah’s people around the earth.”
Their position cannot be challenged, as the magazine stated. When such an aggressive statement is made, a struggle on various levels, can ensue. This challenge results in a spiritual “war” against God’s holy people. (Eph 6:12; 1 Pet 5:8; Col 2:8; Rev 13:5-7,10)
Today’s Temple of God is the anointed household. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 6:19-20; 2 Cor 6:16; Eph 2:20-22) In the last days, the “man of lawlessness” arrogantly opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” NKJV 2 Thess 2:4
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.” Dan 11:36
“Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to conquer them.” Rev 13:6,7
I find the title of this article, the epitome of Wt’s deception: “Loyally Submit to Godly Authority” w02 8/1 p. 12 There is no quality of “modesty”, when one speaks a lie.
Tell me, how can you show such amazement at Uzziah’s “emboldened” stance in the early temple of God, yet presume that it is acceptable for God’s anointed priesthood to be “represented” by the elder body, absorbing the assigned duties of those who are to submit to the authority of God and Jesus Christ? It is crystal clear that the governing body is no different than Uzziah, taking it upon themselves to choose who should offer spiritual “daily sacrifices”, and “burn incense” before God.
“you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Pet 2:5
“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” Heb 13:15
It has been prophesied that this abomination, this seize of the holy people through the use of deception, would occur in the last days. (Luke 21:8; Rev 13:12-14; 20:7-10) Yes, the authority of the holy priesthood of God has been challenged. The Temple of “living stones”, has been “given” to the “Gentiles”, to rule over, and judge as counterfeit priests. (Rom 14:4; Rev 9:4,19; 13:16,17)
Rev11:1-3-“Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
Can you comprehend that you are the inspiration for this abomination? (Matt 24:48-51; Rev 13:11,14-17) Do you realize that your organization tells the anointed priests that they must not bond together, since this would destroy the “unity” of your earthly, man-made organization? No bonding, and no spiritual “daily sacrifices” to be offered by the priests of “Israel”. “Divide and conquer” is the scenario played out wickedly, within the Wt. (Ezek 21:21,22; Rev 12:12,17; Luke 21:24)
Your army of spiritual “Gentiles” have the authority given by you, to disfellowship any “courageous priests” who “confront” you and your army with this abomination, just as the priests did, with Uzziah. (Rev 13:15; 11:3,7)
This is the army that the governing leaders of the organization has created: (see Rev 9:1-4,7-11)
“He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.” Dan 8:11
“Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?” Heb 10:28,29
Whatever is committed against the members of the Body of Christ, is committed against the Head of the Body. (Matt 25:40,45; John 15:20; Acts 9:1,5; 1 Cor 12:12-14,25,26)
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 1 Cor 3:16,17
Where is your priority? Is it with God’s Temple, or is with an earthly organization, steeped in lawsuits, spiritual immorality and greed? (1 Tim 4:1,2; Phil 3:18,19; Rom 1:25) His Temple in Christ has been “building” since the first century. (John 2:19-21; Matt 16:18; Eph 2:20-22) Your organization is a little over a hundred years old. Do you really believe God would abandon His Temple of truth, to allow your organization to take precedence? (Acts 7:48-51; 17:24; Matt 24:24; Mark 13:22; Acts 20:29-31) (2 Thess 9:9,10)
This growing abomination by your comrades in the past and present, has been born and nurtured, through the doctrine of men. (2 Tim 4:3; 1 Tim 4:16; Rev 16:13-15) Your entire organization has trampled and abandoned God’s Temple of “living stones” residing spiritually “captive” within your “towers”; while expertly creating its own temple of “hewn stones”. (Isa 9:10,13-16; 29:1-8; Rev 13:1,2,4,8)
Picture today’s spiritual temple in the royal priesthood, now under the authoritative power of both the governing body, and your “body of elders”:
“For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” Luke 19:43,44 (Rev 20:7-9)
“Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” Hag 1:4
“For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Heb 10:30,31

The whereabouts of the ark of the covenant has been a source of fascination and intrigue for centuries. It is thought that during King Manasseh’s reign, the ark was removed from the temple, either by the priesthood or by Manasseh himself, to make way for his idols. (2 Chron 33:7,9; 2 Kings 21:4) From there, it is said to have been moved to Ethiopia, and to this day is kept under guard by a succession of monks at a Catholic church. Yet, King Josiah who reigned after Manasseh, referred to the ark no longer being a burden on the shoulders of the priests. (2 Chron 35:3) Some speculate that this meant Josiah may have become aware of a future Babylonian siege. He then hid it in an alcove built by Solomon located under the temple mount; or he transported it to a cave near the Dead sea.
In the latter half of the 20th century, one man claimed to have found the ark sequestered within the tunnels under Jerusalem, hidden there by Jeremiah during the Babylonian siege. This man chose an alternate hill as the location of Jesus’ death on a tree (Acts 10:39), where he states that the shed blood of Christ seeped through a rock crevice, eventually pooling on the “mercy seat” of the chest buried underneath the mount (“Day of Atonement” Lev 16:11,14). He claimed to receive a vision where he was told to ensure his find remain locked away until the “man of lawlessness” would be revealed in the last days.
There are many speculations where the ark disappeared to, and the possibility of counterfeits built down through history; but the chest’s significance today is only that of a historic and archaeological treasure, since it is no longer God’s “throne”, or the symbol of the divine presence of God, which was called the “shekina”.
The ark of the covenant, or ark of the “testimony”, was built by Moses according to the heavenly “pattern” shown to him on the mountain. (Ex. 25:10-22; Heb 8:5) Inside and out, the acacia box was wrapped in pure gold. On the cover, two cherubim faced each other with wings touching above the ark.
“You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. 22 And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.” Exod 25:21,22
There are many miraculous events associated with the ark. When Joshua’s priests stepped into the waters of the Jordan river, it parted, allowing the nation of Israel to cross into the Promised Land. At the battle of Jericho, God’s spiritual presence was with his faithful people, as the ark was carried on the shoulders of the priests. The walls of Jericho were brought down on the seventh day of marching around the city, when the priests blew their trumpets in unison. (Josh 3:14-17; 6:2-5)
God’s word also shows evidence of allowing the enemy to overtake Israel, even though the ark may have been present during battle. When young Samuel was under the care of Eli the high priest of Shiloh, God told Eli that his descendants would not thrive because of his weak attitude toward the wicked behavior of his two sons, who were also priests. His unfaithfulness toward God’s decrees brought disgrace on him, as well as the nation of Israel. (1 Sam 2:29-31) His corrupt priestly sons are described as idolaters and fornicators who “did not know the Lord”. (1 Sam 2:12) The account of their sacrifices offered for the people, shows an abhorrent lack of righteousness practiced before God. (1 Sam 2:17)
After an initial defeat by the Philistines, Eli’s son’s Hophni and Phineas rashly remove the ark from the tabernacle putting faith in the presence of the literal ark itself, to bring them to victory. They treated it as another idol, as the physical manifestation of God. Because of Israel’s sins, it was defeated by the Philistines and suffered great loss of life, including the lives of Eli’s sons. (1 Sam 4:1-11)
The ark was confiscated and placed in the Philistine temple of the god of Dagon. By God’s spirit, the statue toppled and was destroyed, causing fear among the people. (1 Sam 5:4,6) Within a matter of seven short months, they sent the ark back to Israel after suffering disease and plagues wherever they desperately moved the ark. (1 Sam 5:11)
Eventually, and under trial, error, and the unexpected loss of life, David was successful in returning it to Jerusalem. (1 Chron 15:11-15; 16:1) When Solomon finished building the temple, the ark was brought from the City of David and placed in the inner sanctuary, under the protection of two cherubim:
“ Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 7 For the cherubim spread their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles.
Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.” 1 Kings 8:6,7,9
Only the Levitical priesthood was to bear the ark, as David realized when bringing it back to the City of David, veiled under a large cloth. (1 Chron 15:13; Num 4:5,6) The priesthood role was to convey God’s messages to the people, spoken from above the ark, and teach His decrees written on the stone tablets that the chest preserved.
Then the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying: 9 “Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, 10 that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean, 11 and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.” Lev 10:8-11
Under the new covenant established in Christ, God’s chosen priests symbolically carry God’s laws hidden within their heart. (Isa 43:10,21; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Heb 8:10;13:15) These laws are sourced in the Word, Jesus Christ, the Head of God’s Temple of mobile “living stones”. (John 1:1;14:15,23,24; 1 Pet 2:4,5; Eph 2:10,20-22)
Today, God’s priests have abandoned their duty as God’s teachers. (Ezek 44:10; Mal 2:8,9) A false priesthood/elder body assumes to “carry” God’s laws spoken by false “christs”/prophets, who subtly compare themselves to Moses leading the nation of spiritual “Israel”. (Num 3:10; Rom 2:28,29; 2 Thess 2:3,4) (Matt 24:4,5,23,24; Rev 13:11,12) God’s priests imbibe in “intoxicating drink” offered by this Harlot; and in their drunkenness, they have allowed God’s sanctuary to be violated by the “unclean”. (Ezek 44:6-9,21,23; Isa 28:7,8; Luke 21:34-36; 1 Thess 5:7; Rev 8:10,11)
Until researching the ark of the covenant, I had never related “Jehovah’s organization” as an “ark” of testimony, promising to lead JWs safely against the religious and political entities of the world, and on to a victorious finish. I view it even more so, as their “spirit-breathed” guiding idol of protection, enforcing the decrees of men; and like the example of Hophni and Phineas, it reveals how little God’s anointed priests “know” God. (Jer 2:8; 9:5,6; Rev 13:15)
The practice of spiritual immorality has resulted in the trampling of God’s Word in Christ, bringing truth down to the ground, and exalting the doctrines of men. (Dan 8:12,13,25; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:9,10; Isa 2:22)
His priests do not bear the mark or portray the “image” of God’s Temple City of Truth. They bear the mark of a counterfeit temple of two blasphemous Beasts. (Deut 6:6,8; 11:18; Exod 13:9; Rev 14:1; Rev 13:1,11,12,16,17; 17:3,5)
Do you understand that it is blasphemy, when the wicked steward wrongly claims to be God's faithful slave (Rev 2:2; Matt 7:15; Rev 13:11), or when those not spiritual Jews (Rom 2:28,29; Ezek 44:7-9)
falsely claim to be God's Temple
(Rev 2:9; 3:9; 2 Chron 13:9; 23:6; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:4; Dan 8:11; Rev 13:7; 11:2; Jer 7:4)
...when in truth, they are an abomination of Satanic deception!
Such Gentile "elders", blaspheme against the genuine saints and priests of heaven (Heb 12:22,23; Eph 2:6; Phil 3:20; Rev 13:6)
... "killing" all who refuse to worship and serve their collective "image", as God's "spirit-directed" organization (Rev 13:15).
That "abomination" is successful in destroying the life prospects of God's genuine people (Rev 13:7,8; Matt 24:4,5,24,25,22).
That's why Jesus called it, "the abomination causing desolation", "as spoken about by Daniel the prophet" (Matt 24:15; Dan 11:31; 8:13) (Jer 12:10-12; Matt 10:34; Rev 2:16; 19:15,19; 16:13-16; 13:10; Isa 63:18; Jer 6:3; Luke 19:43,44; 21:20,24,22; Rev 11:2).
This is, the "operation of error" / "deluding influence", of 2 Thess 2:11
(2 Thess 2:4; Dan 8:11,12; Rev 13:1,4; 2 Thess 2:9-12).
Pearl Doxsey - “Who Are God’s People?”
Prov. 25:11 – “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures (“images”) of silver”.
Jesus gave us warning that both good fruit and bad fruit would be exposed in the last days.(Matt 7:15-20) Those slaves who are attached to the “vine”, who remain connected with their Head, will be projecting the “image” of God’s words of truth in Christ. (John 15:1-5; Col 1:18) Truth is the foundation of the Temple. Each “living stone” sealed into it would speak in harmony with Christ’s truth. (Matt 16:18; John 14:6; 1 Tim 3:15)
“And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.” Ps 12:6
In the inner sanctuary, as well as on the “mercy seat” of the ark of the covenant, were the two cherubim which appeared to guard God’s “testimony” of Truth which the ark carried inside.
John 8:17 – “It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true.”
A symbolic “two witnesses”, Revelation’s messenger servants of Christ, “trumpet” the need for God’s Temple priests to submit to Christ’s admonition, to “buy gold refined in the fire” (Isa 58:1; Matt 24:31; Rev 3:14-22)
“Behold, I send My messenger,
And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek,
Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant,
In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
2 “But who can endure the day of His coming?
And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire
And like launderers’ soap.
3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the Lord
An offering in righteousness. Mal 3:1-3
The tree of life represents God's gift of life through Christ (1 John 4:9; John 6:57; John 3:16; 5:26; 1:4; Acts 3:15).
That gift is also represented by the ark of the covenant, guarded by "two cherubim" (1 Kings 8:6; 6:27; 2 Kings 19:15; Ps 80:1; 99:1; Ezek 10:1)
When the symbolic garden of Eden is restored, and the trees of life are accessible again,
the sanctuary is "opened", and living waters/manna/the law tablets (Heb 9:4; 2 Cor 3:3)), once again "flow" from the throne of God, and from the sanctuary in heaven.
(Ps 18:6,10; 80:1; Isa 37:16; Ezek 10:1; Rev 11:19; 15:5; Ezek 47:1; Rev 22:1,17; Heb 8:5; Jer 3:15-17).
So when we read that the "tree of life" was guarded by cherubim, we can hopefully perceive that this reality is prophetic and spiritual, and is still very much with us.
It is the "two cherubim" (Rev 11:3), that determine who it is that are permitted to receive of life's provisions
(Matt 16:19; Mark 10:37,40; Zech 4:3; Matt 17:2,3,11; Isa 61:4,3; Jer 1:10; 2 Cor 10:4; Rev 2:26,27; Zech 4:3,14; Rev 11:4,3),
thereby guardians of the "ark of the covenant" AND the "tree of life" (Rev 22:14; Ps 118:20; John 10:9,7; Rev 21:12; 22:14; 1 Cor 4:1; Luke 12:42).
Not all are permitted access to the "tree of life"
(Matt 13:11,12; 10:13-15; 7:6; Mark 6:11; Luke 10:11; Isa 29:11; Luke 8:10; John 6:65; 1 Cor 2:10; 2 Cor 4:3-6; Rev 22:15; 21:27; Isa 52:1b; Joel 3:17; Nahum 1:15)
Pearl Doxsey – “Garden of Eden”/New Creation/Seven Spirits/Tree of Life/The True Vine”
“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the advice of the wicked;
nor does he stand in the way of sinners;
nor does he sit in the assembly of mockers.
2 Instead, in the law of YHVH is his delight,
and on His law he meditates day and night.
3 And so, he is like a tree planted by streams of water
that gives its fruit in its season;
its leaf also does not wither.
Therefore all that he does prospers.
4 Not so the wicked.
Instead, they are like the chaff that the wind scatters.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for YHVH knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.”

“Teach the Distinction!”
“The fallen star”
Is a Body organized? How could it continue to function, if it were not? Do not our eyes work along with our hands?... Our heart beating, work in harmony with our breathing so that oxygen reaches all our cells... our kidneys cleaning our blood and our digestion to feed our whole body? Yes, God does work through an organized Body, and has done so since it's head, Jesus Christ, took over as the leader of the Christian congregation (1Cor.12:27; Col.1:18).
The fact that God is organized, and that He possesses and reigns over an organization in the earth... DOES NOT require that such an organization IS "JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES"! This is simple to understand. Just because a man has a wife, does not require that any woman, qualifies to be his wife.
Stating that the WT is God's visible organization, is an assumption with no basis... especially since scripture itself, identifies God's visible organization... and it is NOT the WT.
--God's Word identifies the organized Body of Christ, as the anointed Bride of Christ. That Body, is NOT the WT organization. The WT organization is a counterfeit imposition that superimposes itself upon the genuine, with the goal of replacing and veiling the genuine.
Yes... God is organized. God has a visible organization/Temple priesthood, in the earth. That organized Body of Christ, is the means through which, truth is offered to all, and through which baptism into divine truth is made possible, and a dedication to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is set within reach.
No declaration or vow of loyalty to the genuine messengers of truth and life, is required upon baptism (1Cor.1:13-15; Acts19:1-5).
The way, truth, and life from Christ (through his ambassadors), is the object of one's dedication, worship, and service, for Christ (Gal.1:10).
The body of Christ/God's Temple priesthood, is a reality (1Pet.2:5,9; Eph.2:20-22; Rev.1:5-6; 5:9-10).
It is an expression of God's organized method to offer truth and life in the visible world. The WT has stolen that identity by it's organization of impostors, replacing "Jerusalem above" with the governing body... and switching God's priests with "elders" that are spiritual Gentiles. That counterfeit temple results in the trampling down of God's chosen Bride of Christ, and establishes the "disgusting thing", taking a stand, over the "holy place". Jesus said that when we are able to perceive it, we must Flee! (Mark13:14-15; Luke17:30-37; Rev.12:14,6; 11:3)

"The Disgusting Thing Standing in the Holy Place"
Ps 119:30 – “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”
Can an idol hear the words of God? Idolatry is sourced in the spirit of the world, where Satan wields his authority. 1 John 5:19 An idol cannot speak the words of God, aiding others to reach the light of understanding and truth. John 17:17
An idol has no compassion toward those in need, extending its hand to comfort the afflicted and those suffering in sorrow; fully able to sense their needs. It cannot comprehend the examples of love and compassion we have in Christ. Matt 11:28-30
If an idol is unable to hear and speak the Word of God in Christ, then surely we know it can never walk in the path of Christ, or shine the light of truth when under the power of the wicked one. 1 Sam 12:21; Ps 119:1-5
Can an earthly fabrication, run by men, EVER bring salvation to ANYONE who joins it? And what if it does purport to be the way to salvation; can those who represent it, hear, speak, and walk in the Word of God and the path of Christ? No. It would be an act of rebellion to assign salvation to anything other than the name that scripture declares as our salvation. Its leaders would be false teachers, appearing as “ministers of light”, “holding to a form of godliness, although having denied its power”. Ps 18:2; Acts 4:12; 2 Cor 11:13-15; 2 Tim 3:5
Yes, idolatry IS an act of rebellion against God. Ezek 20:8;Ps 78:58
How do you feel about the following proclamation by your leaders, JWs?
Watchtower 1981/11/15: “come to Jehovah’s ORGANIZATION for SALVATION” pg 16-21 par 18
“There are those who rebel against the light, who do not know its ways or stay in its paths.” Job 24:13
If we take another fork in the Watchtower’s twisted road to “salvation”, what do your leaders say?
Watchtower 90/11/1 p. 26 – “We cannot take part in any modern version of idolatry – be it worshipful gestures toward an IMAGE OR SYMBOL or the imputing of SALVATION to a PERSON or an ORGANIZATION.
Please, think about this the next time you view an exJW as an “apostate”. Do you know that the most threatening “apostates” to the organization are those who have turned fully to God and Christ? Why? They do not hide their “lamp” under a basket, but speak the Word of God boldly for all of you to hear. The Word of God is truth, which exposes the Watchtower’s idolatrous identity. Luke 11:33; Rev 11:1-3; 13:1,5,11,14-17
There is no need to return to “Jehovah’s organization”, since it is, according to the above Watchtower quote, an IDOL. Those who desire to walk in the light of Christ, seek out the pure words of God, untainted by men, their decrees and twisted reasoning. They have come to know that the Father does not stand on equal ground with an organization, but He alone is our Rock and our fortress. Isa 46:5; 42:8; 2:7-10
They have found the true God. They have returned to pure worship. Isa 57:13; Ps 24:3,4
Watchtower 1953/3/1 p. 143: “Ask yourself now, Did Christ Jesus, who set our example and told us to follow his example to gain life, join any church ORGANIZATION in his day? No. GOD DOES NOT REQUIRE US TO DO THAT; but he requires us to worship him… We have the Bible to show us the right way. CERTAINLY IT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR A PERSON TO BECOME A MEMBER OF A CHURCH TO GAIN EVERLASTING LIFE.”
Who then, is the apostate? One who stays clear of worldly organizations and worships in “spirit and truth”, or is it you, and your leaders who have rebelled against God by glorifying “Jehovah’s organization”? Please, reject the Watchtower Idol, JWs. As with all idols, this one is destined to topple soon. John 4:23,24
Not to us, YHVH, not to us,
but to Your name give glory
because of Your faithful love, because of Your truth.
2 Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
3 Our God is in heaven
and does whatever He pleases.
4 Their idols are silver and gold,
made by human hands.
5 They have mouths but cannot speak,
eyes, but cannot see.
6 They have ears but cannot hear,
noses, but cannot smell.
7 They have hands but cannot feel,
feet, but cannot walk.
They cannot make a sound with their throats.
8 Those who make them are just like them,
as are all who trust in them.
9 House of Israel, trust in YHVH!
He is their help and shield.
10 House of Aaron, trust in YHVH!
He is their help and shield.
11 You who fear the Lord, trust in YHVH!
He is their help and shield.
12 The Lord remembers us and will bless us.
He will bless the house of Israel;
he will bless the house of Aaron;
13 he will bless those who fear the Lord—
small and great alike.
14 May the Lord add to your numbers,
both yours and your children’s.
15 May you be blessed by the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
16 The heavens are the Lord’s heavens
but the earth he has given to the children of men.
17 It is not the dead who praise the Lord,
nor any of those descending into the silence of death.
18 But we will bless the Lord,
both now and forever.
Praise the Lord!

Zechariah 2 nd part.
Treatment of Chapters 4 and 5 And the angel that talked with me returned and roused me, as a man who is awakened from his sleep. Then he told me: "What do you see?"
So I said: "I saw, and behold, there is a lampstand, all of gold, with a bowl on top of it. And its seven lamps are upon it, own seven; and lamps that are on top of it have seven pipes. And next to him two olive trees, one on the right side of the cup and one on his left side "- Zechariah 4: 1-3 Â Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. We will recognize the "two olive trees" when they begin to preach? It was inevitable that the study of Zechariah take us to the focal point of Revelation. Revelation 11: 3, 4 says, "And I will do my two witnesses to prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days dressed in sackcloth." These are [symbolized by] the two olive trees, and [from] the two candlesticks and are standing before the Lord of the earth. " We, unlike Zechariah, we have the Bible in full so there is very easy to connect the scriptures. Zacharias had under his eyes the scroll of Revelation given to John that it was only normal to ask for clarification - see Zechariah 4: 4, 11 The angel says, "" These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth "- Zechariah 4:14 Before asking specifically of the two olive trees, however, Zechariah asks what they mean "these things" - see Zechariah 4: 4 What was he referring Zechariah? What's in the vision as well as two olive trees? Well I read ... "I saw, and behold, there is a lampstand , all of gold, with a bowl on top of it. And its seven lamps are upon it, own seven; and lamps that are on top of it have seven pipes ". Asking the meaning of "these things" Zachariah was referring precisely to the candlestick? Yes, because we understand from the angel's response. "This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, '" Not by a military force, nor by power, but by my spirit, "said Jehovah of armies. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel [will become] plain. And he will certainly bring out the stone of the head. In it he will cry: "How attractive! How attractive! " '" - Zechariah 4: 6, 7 If the two olive trees are "the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth," the candlestick, or the person to whom they are close , is the Lord, particularly the message of the Lord (Revelation also mentions two candlesticks indicating that each of Theirs is supported by the spirit of God) supported by his spirit, that they are empowered to carry. That this is correct, it also includes the seven lamps (verse 2) and the angel's explanation that says "These seven are the eyes of Jehovah. They cover all the earth" (verse 10). And this brings us back again and invariably the last book of the Bible. In Revelation 3: 1 Jesus, speaking of himself says to have "the seven Spirits of God." Earlier, addressing the congregation at Thyatira Jesus said to have "eyes like a flame of fire and his feet are like fine copper" (Revelation 2:18) and then suggests that he sees everything, deep and everywhere - See also Revelation 1:14 Among other things, it says that the Lamb has seven eyes and that they "mean the seven spirits of God that have been sent to all the earth" - Revelation 5: 6 Speaking of conduct and also of the preaching Jesus said, turning to his disciples, "You are the light of the world. A city can not be hidden when it is located on a hill. It does not light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it shines on all those who are in the house. So let your light shine before men, that they may see your fine works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven "- compares Revelation 11:13 What we understand, then, comparing these scriptures? The two witnesses in sackcloth have an important task: to bring the message of the Lord. They will do this not by their own strength but with the Spirit of God - compares Revelation 10:11 What will be the message of these two "trees"? Maybe it is the "good news of the Kingdom"? The article for just the 11th chapter of Revelation, we saw that this would not be consistent with their garment - Compare Genesis 37:34; 2 Samuel 3:31 What about Zechariah? Zechariah 4: 7 says, "Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel [will become] plain. And he will certainly bring out the stone of the head. In it you will cry:" How attractive! How charming! " The great mountain is obviously the "ruinous mountain" mentioned in Jeremiah 51:25; Scripture says that it "ruins the whole earth" - Compare Revelation 18: 3 These writings were officially applied to Christianity but Zaccaria does nothing but confirm what we have already seen - see the article "A name. A mystery. Babylon the Great" So far there has been talk of Jerusalem (and therefore Israel in its natural extension) and expressions such as "measuring line", "city inhabited again" and others take us to the city / literal nation. Zechariah adds key elements to conclude that the mountain ruinous, or what "will become plain" can be none other than the current apostate Israel. Then it becomes logical that the two witnesses preach "in sackcloth" because the message is severe condemnation. When Jesus came to earth, He preached a message that was a hope yes, but it was also an ultimatum to that nation - compares Matthew 4:17; 21: 36-44 The scribes and Pharisees, and generally the whole nation, not seized the opportunity to repent and thus be saved. We have seen that the preaching of the two witnesses has much in common with the work and life of Christ. They preach a message of judgment and are authorized by God himself. They prove to have the spirit of God. Several times trying to kill them but to no avail - compares John 7:30; 8:20 They preach exactly three and a half years and at the end are not directly killed by their people but by the "wild beast" or "disgusting thing" - Compare Luke 21:20 Raised after three and a half days and then on the preaching spreads in all the inhabited earth - see Revelation 12:17; 14: 6, 13 The similarities will seem random? The judgments that these two witnesses bring about that country "where also our Lord was impaled" is similar to the judgments that led Moses and Elijah and is therefore significant that we read in Matthew 17: 1-3 It is not difficult to infer, then, that soon will make their appearance these two witnesses, they will preach a message of condemnation foretelling the destruction by the very God that they claim to worship - John 8: 42-47; Luke 21:22 "And he will certainly bring out the stone of the head. In it you will cry:" How attractive! How charming! "- 4: 7 The stone of the head, or corner, will be carried out and other people will cry, "How attractive!", That other people (the true people of God at the time spread in the world) will enjoy those blessings that they have missed forever. All those who do not take the opportunity to hear the message of the two witnesses, and make the necessary changes urgently, they shatter on this rock - Matthew 21:44 This definitely will include those that over time are called "Jehovah's Witnesses" but that after the abolition of the daily sacrifice will not consider these people and their message. We try to be awake then, not to despise "the day of small things" because they have the Spirit and God's approval. The study of Zechariah is also crucial because it is possible that when you begin their preaching, someone that we value and we have a lot of faith can tell us not to listen to them - Matthew 24:24; John 7:52; 11:45, 46 The next verse assures that Zerubbabel will complete the construction of the temple, but he is also called Bud (see Zechariah 6:12) and we know that, in fulfilling modern, it is Christ Jesus. Â "So I raised my eyes again and saw, and behold, a flying roll. So he said to me:" What do you see? " In my turn I said, "I see a flying scroll, the length of which is twenty cubits, and the width of which is ten cubits." Then he said: "This is the curse that goes out over the surface of all the earth, because everyone who steals, under of it on the one hand, remained unpunished; and each making an oath, in accordance with the other of it, has remained unpunished "- Zechariah 5: 1-3 Â The CEI translates Zechariah 5: 3 as he follows "He added," This is the curse that spreads over all the earth: every thief will be driven out of here like that roll; each perjury will be driven out of here like that roll "implying that is not because of what it says in the roll to form the judgment (by the way we speak only of being driven out) but this occurs in a manner similar to the roll. This translation, even if it does it might seem logical, does not take into account the context and completely changes the sense of vision. The writing speaks of "everyone who" and "steals everyone who makes a" swearing and then the natural question we should ask is ... "Where was adjusted theft and perjury?" The answer is in the Ten Commandments and the Mosaic Law - compares Exodus 20:15, 16; Leviticus 19:11; Jeremiah 7: 9, 10 So the vision is highlighting that the roll constitutes a curse because of that that there is written either on one side than the other. Probably the more correct translation is that of the King James Version that makes the verse as follows: "This is the curse that goes out over the whole country; since every thief, according to it, it will be extirpated from this place, and every perjury, according to it, it will be extirpated from this place. " So the message is simple and direct: the people who steal and falsely swears will be judged by the clear written rules on that roll. We do must so imagine that witnesses in sackcloth bring a new inspirational writing with them, a sort of list of additional standards to those we already know? Absolutely not. The roll is clearly echoes the Mosaic law, and although for us it was only a shadow of things to come, this will not apply to those who have never understood the meaning and purpose - Colossians 2:17, 18 This is the message that will become a curse for the whole country because none of the modern inhabitants of Babylon be able to observe the precepts of the law - Romans 7: 7-9 From what we understand, since they have rejected Christ and have not embraced the undeserved kindness of God for the forgiveness of sins, Jehovah will apply the law against those who claim to respect it - Matthew 12:37 That way no one can say that God has been unfair or too harsh because the precepts written in the law, which many of them even know by heart, are clear. Having not accepted the "rock" that could open the way for them undeserved kindness of God, it has to apply the law and see how many of them have complied with her partner, the "norm". Apparently this is what the Lord meant in Matthew 21:44 "And whosoever shall fall on this stone will be shattered. As for anyone on whom it falls, it will pulverize". This adds an obvious reason to anger from listeners. They are ashamed precisely according to the rules that say to respect and even that we re cord s the way of preaching that Jesus had - compare Matthew 15: 3-6; Galatians 4:21 Â ' I made it out,' it is the utterance of Jehovah of armies, 'and it must enter into the house of the thief and the house of those who swear falsely in my name; and it must lodge in the midst of his house and exterminate it and its timbers and its stones' "- Zechariah 5: 4 Â Â The message will haunt him day and night, and listeners can not get rid of it because every time I read from the Law will come back to mind the words of these two troublesome witnesses. The torment will come to the point of devouring the wood and the stones and this well is to understand the happiness that they will experience when they manage to get rid of it by making them kill - Revelation 11:10 Obviously the time comes where the houses will be literally devoured along with all those who have not listened to the message of God - Revelation 18: 4-8 Â "Then the angel that talked with me went out and said to me:" Raise your eyes, please, and see what this is coming out. " So I said, "What?" In turn he said: "This is the ephah that goes out." He went on to say: "This is their appearance in all the earth." And here, the circular lid of lead was lifted; and this is a certain woman sitting in the ephah. So he said: "This is Wickedness." And the cast [back] back into the basket, after which he threw the weight of lead on the mouth about it "- Zechariah 5: 5-8 Â This spectacular view offers us other interesting details. Meanwhile, we must understand that "the ephah coming out" is obviously the container that was used by the bushel. In fact, the efa is a unit of measurement for arid (22 liters) while writing speaks of the lead cover and of a woman who sits "in the middle of the ephah". We can deduce, therefore, that at the time of Zacharias is used a container of a specific capacity for the measurement of an ephah or multiples of an ephah. The container, probably, was also named bushel. Zechariah sees, then this container out of the country but at some point the circular lid of lead was lifted ... What do you see, then, Zechariah? "A certain woman" who the angel identifies himself as "the Evil". It reminds us of anyone? Of course! A truly wicked woman who, many years after John describes as "arrayed in purple and scarlet ... adorned with gold and precious stone and pearls and holding a golden cup full of disgusting things and the unclean things of her fornication" - Revelation 17: 4 After making her see to Zachariah, the angel closes it inside the container. Where you will reach this wicked woman? Â Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. Who is the woman called Evil that ruins the whole earth, and that is native to the land of Shinar? Â "Then I looked up and saw, and behold, there were two women coming out, and their wings was the wind. And they had wings like the wings of the stork. And gradually lifted up the basket between earth and the heavens. I said to the angel that spoke with me: "Where are they taking the basket?" In turn he said: "To build them a house in the land of Shinar; and it must be firmly established, and must be deposited there, on its own site "- Zechariah 5: 9-11 Â It seems clear that at this point in the woman vision has already been removed from the roll curse and it's probably no coincidence that it is inside a fit for arid, apparently indicating that it will become a heap of ruins - compares Revelation 18: 8 However, the question that arises is ... "Why is the built a place in the land of Shinar?" We know that Babylon the Great will be destroyed forever so this writing can not mean that it will be rebuilt - compares Revelation 18:21 The only reason why you could or should build a house it can not be that one: so that it is remembered forever - compares Revelation 19: 3 It 'really amazing but also the EFA target is useful to identify this woman. The scripture says that will be filed " on his own place" (ie back to its place of origin, where it belongs) which means " the land of Shinar." Many Bibles translate "basic" or "pedestal" instead of the place (which gives us the sense of making it a monument, something to remember). Taking a look back to the asterisk on Sinar let's see ... "Sinar" M; lat. Shinar; LXX, "Babylon"; TSY, "Babel." Women with wings Stork represent the measure of Jehovah so that after the destruction of Babylon the Great, a warning will be done, something to remember. Obviously this woman, even if reduced to powder, to be taken away because they can not remain in the land chosen by God, that is the place where He chose to make dwell His Name - Compares 2 Chronicles 6: 6 It would not be appropriate to have this monument (pedestal, home or what will be) was standing exactly in the promised land of God. It will return to its place of origin, or Babylon, and this "monument" will be an eternal memory that never come back longer alive. Â What we can say at the conclusion of this article? We saw in the previous article that the war is coming will serve as a discipline for the people of God, especially to those who are taking the lead - compare James 3: 1 At the end of this war, by which time the preaching will seem completely suppressed, will make their appearance the two witnesses in sackcloth. This is a crucial step because it will indicate the restoration of true worship. The preaching of these two people will be a harsh judgment for the nation in which they preach, but also for all those who refuse to hear (the opportunity to hear them, in fact, it is addressed to all of us ... which is not at all discounted). As we have seen the judgment message that they will thanks to the spirit of God will devour the houses with their timber and their stones, initially as mental and emotional torment. Their words will come true when, seven years after the beginning of their preaching, Israel will actually be destroyed by the wild beast which shall act by the will of God. It is amazing to see how Zaccaria complete the Revelation framework by adding interesting and really significant details? May each of us be truly awake to recognize those who, at the end of regulation time, will be charged by God to restore the true worship - Daniel 11:34 We learn from now to ensure the will of God for us.
The Kishon River, which winds through the Jezreel Valley in Israel, has not only witnessed, but contributed to epic battle accounts in the Bible. It was at its shore that Elijah had 450 prophets brought down from heights of Mount Carmel, to have them executed for serving the “Baals” – “Masters”. He had gathered all the “children of Israel” and asked, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” 1 Kings 18:21 He challenged the prophets’ abilities to summon their gods and consume the sacrificial offering they had prepared, according to Elijah’s instructions. The Baals never appeared, despite a long period of 450 individuals pleading and dancing around their altar.
After an amazing display of power, God consumed Elijah’s sacrifice on the symbolic 12-stoned altar, causing the people to cry out, ““The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”. Shortly afterward, the false prophets met their death at the water’s edge of the River Kishon. 1 Kings 18:22-40

The infamous river played an even greater part in Israel’s history when Deborah the prophetess, wife and mother, acted as judge. This was not a time of peace for Israel, as it had been for a previous eighty-year time period, since …..
“the children of Israel AGAIN did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth Hagoyim. And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord; for Jabin had nine hundred chariots of IRON, and for twenty years he had harshly oppressed the children of Israel.” Judges 4:1-3
How is it that God “sold” his people into the hands of Jabin? The Hebrew word figuratively denotes “surrender”. God surrendered his people over to their idolatrous desires and pleasures, removing His divine protection. Yet, always when the pressure was intense, they “cried out to the Lord” to save them from the result of their actions, which manifested through ruthless, invading armies.
Our forgiving and merciful God responded to the cry of Israel by revealing His plan to Deborah, drawing her attention to the tyrannical power Israel faced. She alluded to this awakening in her victory song sung with Barak:
“Awake, awake, Deborah!
Awake, awake, sing a song!
Arise, Barak, and lead your captives away,
O son of Abinoam! Judges 5:12
Apparently, Barak was initially hesitant in obeying God’s command, only promising to go if Deborah accompanied him. In fact, only half of Israel’s twelve tribes came to fight for the Lord, causing Deborah to question their intentions.
“There was great searching of heart
among the clans of Reuben.
Why did you sit among the sheep pens
listening to the playing of pipes for the flocks?
There was great searching of heart
among the clans of Reuben.
17 Gilead remained beyond the Jordan.
Dan, why did you linger at the ships?
Asher remained at the seashore
and stayed in his harbors.
The people of Zebulun defied death,
Naphtali also, on the heights of the battlefield.” Judges 5:15b-18
The supposed city of Meroz was especially damned:
“Curse Meroz,” says the angel of the Lord,
“Bitterly curse her inhabitants,
for they did not come to help the Lord,
to help the Lord with the warriors.” Judges 5:23
Under the leadership of the Lord and by the mouth of a woman, Jabin’s vast army under Sisera was defeated. Because of Barak’s indecisiveness, it was also at the hands of a woman that Sisera met his end. Still, the book of Hebrews enlightens us that Barak’s faith was reinforced when battling under the Lord’s direction. Judges 4:14; Jer 1:9; Heb 11:32-34 Hello guest! With only a sword, Barak and the armies of Israel brought Sisera’s 900 chariots of iron to a complete halt. At flood stage, the Kishon River finished off the battle by sweeping all evidence of the massive army off the landscape. It lived up to the meaning of its name – “tortuous”, and “a place of catch, of ensnarement”.
“The kings came and fought,
Then the kings of Canaan fought
In Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo;
They took no spoils of silver.
They fought from the heavens;
The stars from their courses fought against Sisera.
The torrent of Kishon swept them away,
That ancient torrent, the torrent of Kishon." Judges 5:19-21
The early Bible accounts can play out symbolically today, helping us discern the powerful, yet covert foe that has come against Gods chosen people, present in the Watchtower. Although JWs “cry out to the Lord” concerning persecution they face; for instance, in Russia, God does not listen to prayers given on behalf of an idol – on behalf of “Jehovah’s spirit-directed organization”. No, this great foe, disguised as a blessing from God, wears “breastplates of IRON”… Rev 9:9
“Their appearance is like the appearance of horses;
And like swift steeds, so they run.
With a noise like chariots
Over mountaintops they leap,
Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble,
Like a strong people set in battle array.” Joel 2:4,5
While it is true God has surrendered His people to this army for their acts of idolatry and acceptance of lies, He has again…
alerted a “woman” – Gal 4:22,23; Rev 12:6,14; 11:3,4
who is both a “wife” – 2 Cor 11:2;Rev 21:9;22:17
and a “mother” – Gal 4:26; Rev 12:2,5

…to sound the alarm and gather an army to “fight” for the Lord. This prophet has awoken to the atrocious condition of God’s Temple priesthood. Just as in Deborah’s day when “the highways were deserted, and “village life ceased in Israel”, the modern day invading army has left God’s Temple of “living stones” a “desolate wilderness”. 2 Cor 6:14-18; Mal 3:1; Ezek 2:7,5; Matt 25:6; Matt 17:11; 24:15; Rev 12:17; Joel 2:3; Lev 26:22; Zech 7:14 Hello guest! Those of the “woman” covenant who were once under siege, are the prophetic “two witnesses”, making the determining trumpet call for God’s chosen ones to leave their captivity, join forces with Christ, and stand on the side of Truth. They are the “stars” battling “from the heavens” in this war of Armageddon. Ezek 14:22; Matt 24:31; Rev.9:13,14; 12:6; 11:3; John 8:32,36; 1 Cor 7:23;Rev 12:7; Dan 12:3; Rev 1:20 Hello guest! How many members of the symbolic “12 tribes of Israel” will respond to the call? Sadly, the majority of the anointed ones appear accepting of their plight. With senses dulled to the danger that surrounds them, they have not called out to the Lord asking for His help. The army of ELDERS holds tight reigns on God’s people, influenced by Satan’s sorcery. Rev 16:13; 18:23 The anointed and all are held captive under his grand deception. Are they taking their side in this battle of truth against lies by remaining mute and hidden, in like manner as Meroz, the city that did not take up arms with Barak and received a curse from an angel of God? I am awestruck at the depth of God’s word and meanings. This elusive city has many connotations behind its name and at its roots – the “Place of Cedars”, a “place of withdrawing”, a large number, and “is not too far removed from the Greek verb μυριζω (murizo), meaning to anoint or sprinkle with μυρον (muron), which denotes a costly ointment”. All of these characteristics aptly describe the anointed “trees” who are purposefully withdrawn from view by a wicked/”king”/slave and his army of “scorpion/locusts”. Meroz can symbolize today’s “apostate city” under God’s curse. Luke 6:43-45; Luke 21:21,22; Matt.24:15,16; Rev.18:4 Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content.
God’s people remain under siege with all JWs who are pressed into a spiritual state of famine. Mark 13:8;Luke 21:20-22 Satan uses his invading army and kings to disperse his river of lies; a torrential, invasive flood (by definition, the “waters of MEGIDDO”) which has ensnared God’s people with death-dealing falsehoods. From Pearl Doxsey’s article “EARTH SWALLOWS SATAN’S RIVER”
Rev 12:15,16 – “So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.“
“In the time of the end, Satan forcefully "spews" this fluid from his mouth. Because this water is aimed with force and direction, it is said to be "like a river"/"flood".
What is Jesus telling us, when it says that this "water" comes from Satan's "mouth"?
Jesus also said,
"The devil....does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of the lie." (John8:44; Matt.15:11) Satan's "resources" are told to us... (Rev.16:13; 13:2;2Chron.18:21). He is using the "false prophet" and the "Wild Beast", empowering that Beast and prophet with every worldly resource he possesses (Rev.13:2,11,13,7; Rev.9:1,10; Eze.14:15; Rev.13:17)."Hello guest! These spiritual "waters" that Satan spews at the "woman" (Through the Beast and false prophet), can not be the "living water" of Truth. No. This river from Satan's mouth (Matt.12:34; Num.21:6; Rev.9:2,3), are powerful lying signs and portents (2Thess.2:9) and the messengers that carry them (Dan.9:26-27; 11:10; Joel 2:2)...intended to destroy the "woman"/promise/New Covenant.” Hello guest! This symbolic river, a “place of ensnarement” will not only take the lives of the invading army, but also those who fail to stand up and fight on the side of Truth for the Lord. Rev 19:19
JWS! Who is your Master? Do you serve the “Baals” – an elder body who shows outward piety, but expects your full obedience to the organization? Prophets of God are sent to warn of impending danger resulting from His people’s sins – the fall into idolatry, spiritual immorality, and the gulping down of lies. 2Cor11:12,13,20 Hello guest! Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with ALL YOUR HEART and with ALL YOUR SOUL and with ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the LAW AND THE PROPHETS hang on these two commandments.”
Is this what the Watchtower EXPECTS you to do? NO.
Wt 11/7/15 - “Why are we so determined to avoid them? (“false” teachers) FIRST OF ALL, it is because we love “the God of truth.” So we do not want to listen to false teachings that go against the truth in God’s Word. (Psalm 31:5; John 17:17) WE ALSO LOVE THE ORGANIZATION that Jehovah uses to teach his wonderful truths.
God has no connection with any earthly entity in Satan’s domain. The organization and God are NOT on a level plain, as the Watchtower has convinced you believe. They are not one and the same.

“For this is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Don’t let your prophets who are among you and your diviners deceive you, and don’t listen to the dreams you elicit from them, for they are prophesying falsely to you in my name. I have not sent them.” This is the Lord’s declaration.
For this is what the Lord says: “When seventy years for Babylon are complete, I will attend to you and will confirm my promise concerning you to restore you to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“and I will restore your fortunes[c] and gather you from all the nations and places where I banished you”—this is the Lord’s declaration. “I will restore you to the place from which I deported you.”
15 You have said, “The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon!” 16 But this is what the Lord says concerning the king sitting on David’s throne and concerning all the people living in this city—that is, concerning your brothers who did not go with you into exile. 17 This is what the Lord of Armies says: “I am about to send sword, famine, and plague against them, and I will make them like rotten figs that are inedible because they are so bad. 18 I will pursue them with sword, famine, and plague. I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth—a curse and a desolation, an object of scorn and a disgrace among all the nations where I have banished them. 19 I will do this because they have not listened to my words”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“the words that I sent to them with my servants the prophets time and time again. And you too have not listened.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

“When considering your cited verses in Jer.29:10-19, it reminded me of two scripture references about our abandonment to Satanic trial and the result of our faithfulness. Those two scripture references, are connected to Jer.29 as well.....
Isa.54: "6 The Lord will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—
a wife who married young,
only to be rejected,” says your God.
**7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.**
8 In a surge of anger
I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord your Redeemer.
11 “Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,
I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,
your foundations with lapis lazuli.
12 I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones.
13 All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace." (Isa.54)
16 Jesus went on to say, **“In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”**
19 Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them, “Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me’? 20 Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. 22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. 23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."
I also think about Jer.29:10, where it says that "when 70 years are finished for Babylon". I recently hit upon God's interpretation for 70 years. It was at Isa.23:15.
"At that time Tyre will be forgotten for ***seventy years, the span of a king’s life.*** But at the end of these seventy years, it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute"
(see also, Jer.25:12) So our symbolic 70 years, is how long we are to be dominated by the Gentiles, the "man of lawlessness", Satan, and the false prophet... Satan's "short period of time" (Luke21:24)

By a statement in the Jan.18 Watchtower magazine; ......
"In the days leading up to the Memorial, we can set aside time to examine prayerfully and carefully our personal relationship with Jehovah. How can we do that? By ‘testing whether we are in the faith.’ To do that, we do well to ask ourselves: ‘Do I really believe that I am part of the only organization that Jehovah has approved to accomplish his will?".......
In effect, does not this statement equate being an obedient slave of the "Watchtower", with being "in the faith"? (Hello guest! The "faith" being spoken of in the scripture they quote (Hello guest! ... *not a faith rooted in the vacillating doctrine of the Organization. Our "testing" properly occurs, when we are building our faith on the words of Christ.... not the present releases or bound volumes of the doctrines of men.

Many "Jehovah's Witnesses" have said to me,
"Don't you think that we should just wait on Jehovah to straighten things out in the leadership of the Organization? Surely Jehovah will take care of things in His own due time."
Has not God already made clear how He handles wayward leadership and those who cling to them who lead His people astray? Did he "straighten out" Jerusalem, when they rejected His Son? How does God always conclude his covenants with those who reject His guidance? What happened in 70 C.E.?

Because of the critical times in which we live, we must consult Yhwh's direction in this (Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. ,Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. ).
Certainly, we do not want to view the continuing existence of sin and false doctrines as Yhwh's fault, as if He wants it to continue until He feels inclined to correct it (Hello guest! Any apostasy that exists, is due to men, and not due to God's complacency.
True, this futility and operation of error is being permitted by Yhwh (Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. ; Hello guest! Watchtower's viewpoint on charities:
"Like the neighborly Samaritan in Jesus’ illustration, we want to help suffering people, including those who are not Witnesses. (Luke 10:33-37) The best way to do so is by sharing the good news with them. “It is important to make clear right away that we are Jehovah’s Witnesses and that our primary mission is to help them spiritually, not materially,” notes an elder who has helped many refugees. “Otherwise, some may associate with us only for personal advantage." Wt 2017/5 p. 7
"If there is any material giving, to charities for instance, it is because there is need to salve a conscience, or because one's reputation is at stake." Wt. 1969 5/1 p. 280Â
"But the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and evil.  Fools! Didn’t he who made the outside make the inside too? But give from what is within to the poor, and then everything is clean for you." Luke 11:39-41
"Give to everyone who asks you, and from someone who takes your things, don’t ask for them back.  Just as you want others to do for you, do the same for them". Luke 6:30,31

Treatment of the first three chapters of Zechariah During the study of the biblical books of Daniel and Revelation we used various references to other prophetic books (and beyond) is to give weight to some statements to reveal interesting details. 'Important, however, a thorough examination of these "minor prophets" not just to give support to what has been treated but also to see if the overall picture is very consistent. These systematic treatments might also reveal aspects and add details that, during the discussion of the greatest, have been left out books. Let's start with the first three chapters of Zechariah and try to assess how this inspired book fits with what we know. Â Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. The words of Zechariah unique to the past? Â We can apply to future Zechariah prophecies? Â Before starting the legitimate question we should ask we are whether we can apply the book of Zechariah, or even part of it, to prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled. Moreover, as we all know, at least part of the prophecy of Zechariah 9 is fulfilled during the campaign of Alessandro Magno in Syria, Phenicia and Philistia, including the conquest of Tire and Gaza. As also reports the book Insight " Numerous other prophecies contained in the book of Zechariah find fulfillment in Christ Jesus' entry into Jerusalem as king," humble, and [that] riding upon an ass "(Zech 9: 9; Matthew 21: 5 ; Jn 24:15), the fact that he would be betrayed for "thirty pieces of silver" (Zec 11:12, 13; Mt 26:15; 27: 9), the subsequent dispersion of the disciples (Zec 13: 7; mt 26:31; Mr 14:27), the fact that Jesus was the pole with a spear pierced (Zech 24:10; Jn 19:34, 37) and his role as King-Priest (Zec 6:12, 13 ; Heb 6:20; 8: 1; 10:21). " From the above we might think that this book was very helpful in the past (even in relation to the identification of Christ), but that does not have nothing to say about the future. It really so? If we let the Bible speak for us, we see instead Zaccaria still has much to tell us. Comparing, for example, Zacharias 4: 3, 11-14 with Revelation 11: 4 we see that the analogy exists and is very strong. We can compare other writings (Zech 4:10 with Revelation 5: 6; Zacharias 8: 8 with Revelation 21: 3; Zacharias 14: 5 with Jude 14; Zechariah 14: 7 with Revelation 21:25; Zechariah 14: 8 with Revelation 22 : 1, 17) and see what it's really impossible not to notice the connections. If we consider a book of Revelation prophecies to come, we can not honestly say that Zechariah is only about what has already been. Â " I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding a red horse, and was standing among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him there were horses red, bright red, and white "- Zechariah 1: 8 Â The red horse or "fire color" takes us back to Revelation 6: 3 and now we should know its meaning. We should also know the meaning of the white horse which indicates not only in Jesus Christ as a executioner but also his army - see Revelation 19:14 There seems to be a reference to Revelation? As we have seen in a previous study article, all four horsemen of the Apocalypse, in contrast to what says the official understanding, are guided by Christ Himself - compares Psalm 45: 1-5 This we deduced from the fact that all four are "called" by the four living creatures and also by the fact that all the seals (of which the knights are a part) depict the judgments of God on the satanic system - Revelation chapters 6 to 8 Logic has ported this interpretation considering us that Jehovah has used very often of war between nations to execute His judgments - see Jeremiah chapters 47 to 49 The vision of Zechariah confirms the correctness of this interpretation because, again admitting that he speaks of future events, Zechariah 1:10 clearly says " These are the ones whom Jehovah has sent to patrol the earth." The army cavalry reports that the land "has no noise" but this shows that nations live a temporary tranquility, totally illusory. If there is an army, it means that everything is ready for battle. The vision, however, does not focus on the war that should arrive but on the assurance that Jehovah will protect Jerusalem. He is jealous of Jerusalem and Sion with a holy jealousy, and even if you are rightly indignant against His own people He assures, "Certainly I will return to Jerusalem with mercies. My own house will be built in it "- Zechariah 1:16 So it is true that there will be war and consequently a period of strict discipline for the people had turned away from Him, but He will not allow the extermination of his people from nations. If it were up to the nations, of course, there would not be nothing left of God's people. This Jehovah will not allow it. In verse 12 Jehovah's angel turns to the God Most High, asking "O Jehovah of armies, until you yourself do not show mercy to Jerusalem and to the cities of Judah, whom you have denounced these seventy years?" We know that the people of God, in fulfilling this prophecy in the past, was a prisoner in Babylon for seventy years. Since we're wondering if Zaccaria (and which parts of the book) may have a future fulfillment, we can find, even in these words, a fulfillment in our day? For the moment we do not know but we will face this possibility in a future article. Â " Still he cries, saying, 'Jehovah of armies has said:" My cities will overflow with goodness still; and Jehovah will certainly try again regret over Zion and yet actually choose Jerusalem "- Zechariah 1:17 Â Jehovah will again choose Jerusalem! Writing is talking about the people who shaped the spiritual Jerusalem (ie the People of God scattered throughout the earth) or even the literal city is talking? The Almighty God has just spoken to those who have been oppressed by the nations and therefore it is clear that refers to the people of His possession (literally a city or nation can not be oppressed, distressed, punished). But verse 16 goes on to say "the same measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem." ' We know that in the fulfillment of this writing past the measuring line was actually placed on Jerusalem and the city was inhabited again. Even the temple was rebuilt and this is further proof, if ever proof were needed, the precision and infallibility of God's Word. Obviously if we were to include the possibility that this part of the book has a future fulfillment, this would mean the recovery of God's people scattered over the world (and therefore its ingathering) and the actual reconstruction and repopulation of the city - compares Ezekiel 38: 8 (see also the articles entitled "the appointed times of the nations" and "Who is Gog of Magog?" useful to have a complete picture of this future event). When the angel told Zechariah to shout that Jehovah would choose still Jerusalem , undoubtedly referring to the city. City that was inhabited, however, be faithful and obedient to the God Almighty inhabitants. We are confident that Jehovah will not choose again Jerusalem at the end of satanic system? - compares 2 Chronicles 6: 4-6; Isaiah 4: 2, 3; 27:12, 13; 33:20; 49: 7; Jeremiah 3:17 In the following verses we speak thus of the four horns that dispersed Judah, Israel and Jerusalem. They will arrive four craftsmen who down them. This means that all those nations which have scattered and wronged the people of God, will be rewarded for their management. Â Moving on to the second chapter, then the first two verses say ... Â " And I looked up and saw; and behold, there was a man, and in his hand a rope to measure. Then I said, "Where are you going?" In turn he said to me: "To measure Jerusalem, to see how much is its breadth, and how much its length" - Zechariah 2: 1, 2 Â This brings us back to the temple measurements made by John in Revelation 11, is not it? - see Revelation 11: 1 Thanks to Revelation we can understand the meaning and the timeline. John measure the temple some time after the people of God was tried, even through war, to see if, after such discipline now is in the right condition. Just as happened to the days of Zechariah, after seventy years of exile in Babylon, now we need to see if the people of God is fit to return to their homeland. What is the response of this measurement? Â And behold, the angel that talked with me went out, and there was another angel went out to meet him. Then he said: "Run, speak to this young man, saying: '' Jerusalem will be inhabited as open country, because of the multitude of men and domestic animals in the midst of her. And I myself shall become to her, "is the utterance of Jehovah," a wall of fire all around, and I will become in the midst of her a " '" glory. " Hey there! Hey there! Flee, then, from the north country, "it is the utterance of Jehovah. " For I have scattered you in the direction of the four winds of heaven," is the utterance of Jehovah - Zechariah 2: 3-6 Â Just as we saw in the article entitled "Approaching Storm", it is for our salvation to take place this discipline. If God's people were not disciplined, he would disappear with the rest of the world. Exactly how does understanding Revelation, the regulation period it served its purpose - compares Daniel 11: 33-35 The people of God spread throughout the world, is now eligible to be gathered and Re-inhabiting Jerusalem. Â " Shout loud and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; since, here, come, and certainly reside in the midst of thee, "it is the utterance of Jehovah. 11 "And many nations will certainly be joined to Jehovah in that day, and actually become my people; and certainly I will dwell in your midst. " And you will know that Jehovah of armies himself has sent me to you. 12 And Jehovah will certainly take possession of Judah as his portion on the holy ground, and has yet choose Jerusalem. 13 It is silent, all flesh, before Jehovah, for he is raised up out of his holy habitation - Zechariah 2: 10-13 Â Even these verses bring us to the last book of the Bible and beyond. Jehovah says resides among his people - Revelation 21: 3 He also says that many nations "certainly will be joined to Jehovah in that day, and actually become my people" - Compare Isaiah 2: 2, 3 (see also Zechariah 8:23) Furthermore, just as we saw in the first chapter, in the second he repeats that Jehovah "is yet choose Jerusalem." Â We intend the third chapter, and we immediately notice something strange and interesting. Â " And he showed me Joshua the high priest, who was standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan, who was standing at his right hand to resist him. Then [the angel] Jehovah said to Satan: "May Jehovah rebuke you, O Satan, yes, Jehovah rebuke you, he who chooses Jerusalem! Is not this a fire ripped strain? "- Zechariah 3: 1, 2 Â The high priest, as we know, was the highest spiritual office in Israel. It was he who had the responsibility of adoration of the whole people of God. In the vision, however we note that Satan is the angel resistance. Why? We do not know it by reading the following verses would seem to imply that he does strength, that comes between the two, in order that Joshua did not receive clean clothes. Clearly, Satan has interests that the high priest remains "dirty" and is therefore not eligible to officiate but other details will understand them by reading the following verses. Â " Now, as Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. So [these] answered and said to those who stood before him, 'Take off dirty clothes. " And he went on saying, "See, I passed over to you your mistake, and you're dressed in long robes Ceremonial" - Zechariah 3: 3, 4 Â We isolate the first part. Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes, and that, as a high priest, makes it unsuitable to carry out its role - see Leviticus 16: 4 The "dirty" depicts sin and what is understood by the contrast that is done, for example, with the writing of Revelation 7: 9, which, speaking of the great crowd, mentions robes white - see also Revelation 3: 4, 5 The sins of the high priest, in keeping with Leviticus 4: 3, could fall on the people. We can imagine why Satan is so interested to come between him (ie the one who was in charge on the spiritual leader of God's people) and the angel who tries to "tear him from the fire." We can also imagine that it was just Satan dirty the garments of the high priest, or to induce him to make dirty. This seems to be in harmony with what we have seen in our study of Revelation: the condemnation of the false prophets (which we saw in the explanation of the first trumpets) is primarily against the people of God. The article entitled "approaching storm" explains that the judgment begins from the house of God, but there are also other trumpets that affect us. We have no particular about it and we do not know how and when the people of God, starting from the high priest, is soiled. Satan has managed, somehow, to dirty the people of God or, at best, to "get in the way" that persists in error. The attempt of Satan has not happened and in fact the angel replaces his clothes with clean clothes, and says "I have passed over to you your mistake, and you are dressed with long ceremonial robes." Q hese are beautiful no additional details described in Revelation. If the event relative to the high priest and his dirty garments takes place after the described measurement of Jerusalem in Zechariah 2: 3-6 (event which brings us, in fact, in Revelation 11: 1), then the resistance that Satan makes all 'angel is to be referred to what happens during or after the preaching of the two witnesses. These two witnesses are preaching in sackcloth, and that is, apart from being in harmony with the message of judgment that lead, this is done in recognition of their error. Satan, however, has "resisted" to God's purpose to restore true worship and we can imagine that it will continue that way for as long as you can - see Revelation 12: 3, 4 E ' possible to assume that what is described in Zechariah 3: 2 includes the war described in Revelation 12: 7, 8? This part of Zechariah is quoted by the disciple Judas who adds that the dispute concerned the body of Moses - Jude 9 On the one hand this would seem to confirm that the order of events is that of Revelation because, in both writings, you mention the archangel Michael, the subject that is mentioned only as Daniele and always in the context of fighter, defender, executioner - Daniel 10:13, 21; 12: 1 It 'easy to deduce that this meeting between Satan and the archangel Michael has provoked a war because we can not imagine that Satan, after an initial resistance, has been persuaded by fair means to make clothing Joshua with clean clothes (actions restores true worship). This would confirm the order of events described in Revelation. On the other hand , however, mentioning the body of Moses, the question becomes ambiguous . The official explanation says that Satan probably wanted to use Moses' body for it to become an idol, an object of worship. Idolatry is one of the gravest sins and something would undoubtedly will dirty the clothes of any high priest. Â Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. The body of Moses could become an idol? Â We can imagine that the body of Moses, because of all that be representative t?, would easily become an idol for many Israelites. For example it's possible see how it behaves when Christianity is the so-called "exposition of the Shroud". Millions of people flock from all over the world, even at the cost of enormous sacrifices , to worship an object that you know, among other things, be a fake. Imagine if it were true. Satan could not do anything with the body of Moses (see Deuteronomy 34: 6), but we think that he has given up and that there has not re tried it with something else in our day ? - compares Luke 4:13 We have seen that some of the people of God, likened to trees and vegetation, it is punished precisely on becoming idolatrous - see Revelation 8: 7 Are we become idolaters? If so, who or cos' is the object of our worship? Is it possible that we have become the object of our worship something or someone that was supposed to be a medium (just as Moses was) and not the ultimate goal of adoration? Incidentally: These questions are not intended to cast a shadow on the Wts, some of its representative or perhaps on the site official but in fact if we consider someone, anyone, above or equal to the Word of God, we idolaters. Let us reflect on these things. Whatever our situation (something on which to think carefully) it is encouraging to know that these dirty clothes will be replaced. Â Then I said: "The head put on a clean turban." And they put on his head a clean turban and dress him with garments; and Jehovah's angel stood there. And the angel of the Lord bore witness to Joshua, saying: "Jehovah of armies has said: 'If you walk in my ways, and if you keep My obligation, then again you also judge my house, and also to guard my courtyards; and I will give you free access among these who are here '- Zechariah 3: 5-7 Â In harmony with the words of the Lord, the faithful slave will be appointed over all his belongings for his loyalty - Matthew 24:47 Â " ' Hear, please, O Joshua the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are men [serving] as portents; for behold, I will bring my servant Sprout! 9 For, behold, the stone that I put before Joshua! On one stone are seven eyes. Here, I record its engraving, 'is the utterance of Jehovah of armies,' and certainly will take away the error of that land in one day '- Zechariah 3: 8, 9 Â At God's appointed time, the error of the people of God will be completely removed! It is encouraging to know that? Jehovah is going to send His Son, and thanks to him the true worship will be fully restored. For the people who love God this "stone" is a blessing but for those who are not worthy will be crushed in it - compare Matthew 21:42, 43 When will this happen and who, in particular, will address this destructive attention? We'll see in a future article, but for now let's focus on the conditions that the arrival of this righteous Branch will bring to all who wish to obey God and seek him with Spirit and Truth. Â ' In that day,' is the utterance of Jehovah of armies, 'you'll call each other, while [you] under [the] vine and while [you] under [the] fig tree' "- Zechariah 3:10 Â May each of us to introspect not miss those wonderful blessings we enjoy the people who do not worship no one else than Jehovah - Psalm 33:12; Psalm 144: 1 Â Â Â

“When you see a cloud rising in the west, at once you say, ‘A storm is coming,Â’ and it happens. And when you see that a south wind is blowing, you say, ‘There will be a heat wave,Â’ and it occurs. Hypocrites, you know how to examine the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to examine this particular time?” - Luke 12:54-56
The following article will cover part of the Watch Tower of October 2017.
The article is titled "The visions of Zechariah: why do they concern us?"
A vision does not include something more than a command or a need?
From the beginning we can concentrate on the questions reported in the first paragraph.
Why did Jehovah give such unusual visions to the prophet? In what situation were the Israelites at that time? What do we learn today from those visions?
The questions are certainly profound and detailed, so we isolate some remarkable points to see how we tried to respond.
After a brief and dutiful explanation of the background (paragraph two), "Jehovah assured them of the fact that he would help them restore true worship" (paragraph three).
Let's pause for a moment and reflect on these words.
Taken by themselves, without knowing anything about Zechariah, the book and the time in which it was written, one would think that the theme that will be developed will focus on how Jehovah will restore true worship.
Without making any inquiries about the eventual past or future fulfillment of these words, should not you talk about this?
Among other things, the paragraph confirms that it will be the sixth and seventh vision and this would suggest that these visions will reveal the details on how Jehovah will do this.
On the other hand, a vision should include something more than a command; the same ten commandments and all the Mosaic law did not need a vision to be dictated and so that the Israelites understood the demands of the Almighty God and the moral norms that they would have to respect.
On the contrary, the following paragraphs, although the vision of the flying scroll written before and behind is "very particular", they say that "God will punish anyone who steals and among Christians there is no place for any kind of theft".
Did Zaccaria really need a vision to understand that God does not tolerate theft?
Apart from that, as we said, it seems strange that a vision is limited to this but the question we should ask ourselves is ... "Zacharias did not know that Jehovah will not tolerate the theft?" - compare Exodus 20:15; Leviticus 19:11, 13; Proverbs 11: 1; 20:23 It is very strange for a prophet of Jehovah but also the rest of the people had to remember such an obvious need, present also in the most primitive human legal systems. Would not it have been enough to read "from the book of the law" as it had been done in the past and how the law itself was foreseen? Until the end of paragraph seven, there is not the slightest indication that this vision can have a deeper explanation and that it can be particularly applied in the future. Also the following paragraphs remain on the same "prudent" line. We must not falsely swear and keep the promises made to Jehovah - compare Leviticus 19:12; Numbers 30: 2; Ecclesiastes 5: 5, 6 The next vision is even more interesting. Does the destination city have no prophetic significance? Â Â From the subtitle "Wickedness is put in its own place" we can see how, the vision that perhaps leaves Zaccaria "horrified" with all its details, makes us clearly understand that Jehovah will never tolerate any form of evil within his people and will ensure that it is quickly eliminated ". So women with stork wings who take away the ephah with wickedness in the land of Sinar, point out this aspect. Why choose Sinar and not Ninive, for example? Because "the Israelites will have thought that Sinar was the right place to relegate Evil, and Zacharias and his contemporaries Jews, in fact, could confirm that wickedness was widespread in Babylon." Also in this case the vision of the container, the wicked woman, the women with stork wings and the country of destination have no particular meaning, let alone prophetic. It must be said that if we had treated this topic only thirty years ago, perhaps someone would have started to calculate the distance between Jerusalem and Sinar to find some correspondence with some modern or past assembly or resolution. This article is certainly more conservative than those of a few years ago ** (see footnote) but is it really prudence what you see in this article or something else? Let's try to be really objective without taking a team-like attitude. Do we really think that Zacharias had seven visions in such a special time, to learn that Jehovah does not tolerate theft, falsehood and evil? Do we really think that the resurgence of true worship has nothing to do with our days? If we had started from chapter four instead of chapter five, would we not perhaps have had to move towards Revelation? - compare Zechariah 4: 2, 3 with Revelation 11: 4 Does not Zechariah chapter four also speak of the resurgence of true worship, exactly as chapters five and six do? If Zechariah and Revelation are connected, even if only partially, we should not have reflected on the identity of this "evil woman" who, incidentally, is transported to the most important city of Babylon or "to her own place"? Â What is certain is that, as we have also seen in the articles titled "We are staggering like drunks?" and "Approaching the Storm", we can understand "at what distance we are" from Jehovah's discipline and also understand the reasons why He decides to discipline us by meditating on these aspects. However, all those who really pay attention to the prophetic word, have no reason to be discouraged or upset. If even the light of a certain guide should go out, we have a guide that can never disappoint us - Isaiah 40: 8 It is important and urgent more than ever, precisely in view of what is to happen, to become independent in our research and to sharpen our faculties of reasoning - Romans 12: 1 We must also realize the responsibility that some knowledge entails. We must help not those who have become critical to a party taken and with which one can not reason and even those who fail and do not intend to call into question every truth fallen from above - Matthew 15: 6 We must help those who still know how to ask themselves questions so that they do not leave the organization and do not even close their eyes to what is about to happen. We do not know to what extent God's people will be reshuffled, but until the revelation of the two clothed witnesses this will continue to be the people of God and anyway, whatever happens, let us hold fast to the Word of God which is the only truth - John 17:17 Recalling Jesus' words at the beginning of this article, and bearing in mind that we are nobody and we do not have a thousandth of his authority, we take care not to become like those who were part of God's people and who were recognized as authorities, but at the same time they could not understand "their particular time". We do not look for excuses because each of us has a Bible and the basic knowledge to deepen our arguments. We try not to be too full of us, basking in our safety thinking that others will pay. We could wake up in an unwanted reality. How would we feel if the Lord told us "Are you a hypocrite"? - compare Amos 3: 2
Final notes * This also applies to all those sites that are said to be prophetic but only apply Jehovah's past judgments to God's people. This is also a fairly easy game. ** Just take a look at the book, no longer in publication "Pay attention to the prophecies of Daniel" where practically every number of days present in the prophetic book have been applied to assemblies, resolutions and publications.
We know that the twelve tribes of Israel were divided after King Solomon died. 1 Kings 11:10,11,31 Ten tribes became known as the Northern Kingdom and called “Israel”. The tribes of Judah and Benjamin were the Southern Kingdom and called “Judah”. Out of all who reigned both in Israel and Judah, only a handful were considered faithful to God. Amazingly, all of Israel’s kings supported calf worship and some, Baal worship; with only a few of Judah’s kings worshiping God. One of them was King Asa.
“ Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did his father David.” 1 Kings 15:11

“And he banished the perverted persons from the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. Also he removed Maachah his grandmother from being queen mother, because she had made an obscene image of Asherah. (A Canaanite goddess) And Asa cut down her obscene image and burned it by the Brook Kidron. But the high places were not removed. Nevertheless Asa’s heart was loyal to the Lord all his days.” 1 Kings 15:13,14
As long as Asa relied completely on God during his reign, peace came to the land of Judah. 2 Chron 14:2-8 When Zera the Ethiopian came up against Judah, Asa’s army of 580,000 men faced a million men and 300 chariots.

And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, “Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!” (2 Chron 14:9-11)
With God’s intervention, Judah was victorious; but there was one incident during Asa’s reign when he forgot his God and relied on the strength of the King of Syria, when the evil King Baasha (which even means “wicked”) of Israel came up against him. Asa bribed the Syrian king to break off his treaty with Baasha, offering him the treasures of the temple, to side with Judah against Israel. 2 Chron 16:2,3
Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. … Did this act escape God’s notice? No, Hanani the seer reminded him of this victory over the Ethiopians and then stated,
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those WHOSE HEART IS LOYAL TO HIM. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” Then Asa was angry with the seer, and put him in prison, for he was enraged at him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at that time.” 2 Chron 16:7-10
In the Watchtower article of 3/2017, “Serve Jehovah With a Complete Heart”, Asa is held up as an example to the flock when dealing with school mates, work mates, and when loved ones are disfellowshipped.
“In such situations, rely on God, just as Asa did. Pray to Jehovah, be courageous, and keep doing what is right. Remember that God strengthened Asa, and he will strengthen you too.”
JWs, look at the history of the organization. How many battles has it fought to secure its fortress? Although there have been many court cases won by the Watchtower; how many court cases today concerning child abuse, are lost? And what about the suffering during the Holocaust, and now Russia? Yes, there have been years of prosperity, but even the wicked, greedy kings of Israel had prosperous years.
Consider the titles of these news articles from the Watchtower’s website:
“Russia Targets Jehovah’s Witnesses With Anti-Extremist Legislation, Reports UN Human Rights Committee”
“Russia’s Supreme Court Ruling Has Negative Impact on Jehovah’s Witnesses”
Within these articles the organization has rallied the opinions of individuals and entities around the plight they face in Russia
• the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe
• United Nations Human Rights Committee
• Derek H. Davis, formerly the director of the J.M. Dawson Institute of Church-State Studies at Baylor University.
• Roman Lunkin, head of the Center for Religion and Society Studies at the Institute of Europe Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow
By referencing as well as relying on these prominent ones support who sympathize with the Watchtower’s plight, can we see that this is no different than what Asa did when reaching out to the Syrian King for aid instead of giving full reliance on God? Yet, this has been the routine since the Watchtower’s beginnings. Although it will point out Jesus’ words of Mark 13:9 as the reason behind their persecution, what he meant cannot be applied to those who expect obedience to men, the elder body and GB, before obedience to God and Christ. Acts 5:29; Rev 13:15

If we are told to serve God with a complete heart and are then directed to give our attention and service to an organization built by men who call it the source of salvation, WE COMMIT IDOLATRY. Jer 11:10
Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. … Wt ‘90/11/1 p. 26 – “As Christians, we face up to similar challenges today. We cannot take part in any modern version of IDOLATRY – be it worshipful gestures toward an image or symbol or the imputing of SALVATION to a person or an ORGANIZATION.”
Now, back to Watchtower's true colors:
“Come to Jehovah’s ORGANIZATION for SALVATION” – Wt. ‘81/11/15 p. 212
The Watchtower’s rule of unfaithful anointed ‘kings’ falls in line with those who ruled the Northern tribes of Israel. Calf worship began with Jeroboam, used to distance the people from the true temple in Jerusalem. It became so deeply entrenched through successive reigns; it remained as an icon against God until the fall of the kingdom. Fortifying the kingdom kept the people from true worship in Jerusalem. Baal worship was introduced by Jezebel until the prophet Elijah brought an end to it.
In the organization, the true Temple, God’s anointed priesthood, has been thwarted and replaced by a false priesthood, who comprise the organization – the elder body. 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 6:19; Eph 2:20,21 In a similar way practiced by Israel’s kings, the flock are told to “stay away” from God’s Temple and look instead toward the idol/organization with its false priesthood as salvation. Replacing God's priesthood is not new. When Jeroboam set up calf worship, he appointed his own priesthood which of course, was not sanctioned by God. 1 Kings 12:32; 2 Chron 11:14
Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. … JWs, do you know the names of those on your elder body? Of course, you do. On the other hand, God’s authentic priesthood is to remain anonymous.
Wt. 1/16 -“ Do those of the other sheep need to know the names of all those who are anointed today? The short answer is NO. Why not? Because even if someone has received the heavenly calling, that person has received only an invitation, not a final confirmation of the reward. That is why Satan raises up “false prophets . . . to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.”
Who are the anointed ones that have made themselves quite prominent, and whose names are on every JW tongue? It is the Governing Body, Revelation’s “Jezebel”. They are the source of the previous Wt. quote; false prophets who expect the chosen ones and companions to commit idolatry by giving servitude to all functions, and loyalty toward the mission of the organization; a mission that has at its roots the purpose to destroy. Rev 12:1-4

“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. “But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake.” Luke 21:12
When dealing with King Ahab and his wife Jezebel, Elijah the prophet declared a drought on Israel. God told him to leave and assured him he would be fed and cared for. 1 Kings 17:1-15 Today’s “Elijah” who pronounce to God’s people to repent of their sins, are the “two witnesses” who have left Watchtower’s idolatry and its spiritually desolate state. Zech 4:11; Rev 11:3,4; Matt 17:3,4,10,11; Amos 8:11; Rev 18:8; Luke 17:31-37; Rev 12:14

To whom, then, can you compare God?
To what statue can you compare him?
Craftsmen make idols.
Goldsmiths cover them with gold.
Silversmiths make silver chains for them.
The poorest people choose wood that will not rot
and search out skillful craftsmen
to set up idols that will not fall over.
Don’t you know?
Haven’t you heard?
Haven’t you been told from the beginning?
Don’t you understand the foundations of the earth?
God is enthroned above the earth,
and those who live on it are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the sky like a canopy
and spreads it out like a tent to live in.
He makes rulers unimportant
and makes earthly judges worth nothing.
They have hardly been planted.
They have hardly been sown.
They have hardly taken root in the ground.
Then he blows on them and they wither,
and a windstorm sweeps them away like straw.
“To whom, then, can you compare me?
Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One. Isa 40:18-25
By Queen Esther
The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who has been born from the spirit.—John 3:8.
Those who have been invited in such a manner may wonder: ‘Why have I been selected? Why me and not someone else?’ They may even question their own worthiness. But they do not question the fact that they have been invited. Their hearts are bursting with joy and appreciation. They feel much as did Peter when he said under inspiration: “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance. It is reserved in the heavens for you.” (1 Pet. 1:3, 4) When anointed ones read those words, they know without any doubt that their heavenly Father is speaking to them personally. w16.01 3:11, 12

Isn’t it annoying when the things that are supposed to help you out end up leaving you worse off? Like eating vegetables that make you gassy. Or waking up from a nap feeling even groggier than when you laid down. Or attempting to organize your life with an ever-growing to-do list, then stressing out at the sheer number of things you need to accomplish.
For that last one, at least, there’s a deceptively simple solution. As Stephanie Lee recently wrote in Lifehacker, the easiest way to cut down on to-do-list-induced stress is to go right to the source: Just cut the list. Specifically, try to look at each day’s tasks with one prompt in mind: “If this was the only thing you did today, you’d be satisfied.” Then, you know, do that thing. Everything else can wait.
Lee explains than her revelation came in the form of a planner, one that gives her space to list just a small handful of daily to-dos and one “Most Important Task of the Day,” for which the planner uses the same prompt to help its users identify. (If picking just one thing seems like a struggle, she notes, there’s another prompt in there, too: “Will moving this forward make all the other to-do’s unimportant or easier to knock off later?”)
And while it’s a handy thing to have printed out in front of you, it’s also a way of thinking you can adopt for any organizational system. “This has challenged me to ponder whether the thing I thought was super important really was that important; or whether it was merely a distraction from the actual thing that I should be working on,” Lee wrote. “I feel a lot less anxiety around all the work I feel like I have to get to and can shove away the clutter to focus on the truly important things that move the needle for me.” Think of it as the Mari Kondo approach to your to-do list: Nothing on there will spark joy, exactly, but decluttering it to keep only the most necessary things will definitely spark productivity, and maybe even a little relief.

Это мое имя на века (Hello guest! Please register or sign in (it's free) to view the hidden content. ).
э. — I веком н. э.
Opposers like to quote this reply to a comment “From our Readers” implying that although Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that “Any organization that assumes that position should be willing to submit to scrutiny and criticism” they themselves do not tolerate any scrutiny or criticism and therefore are being hypocritical.
Is that accusation true?
Awake 1984 8/22
“You all loved it, didn’t you? You couldn’t resist taking a shot at the Catholic Church, could you? I will never forgive the way you mercilessly tore down the Pope. If Jehovah’s Witnesses must refer to cheap shots in attempting to bring down other religions, they’re in more trouble than the Catholics”. - Florda
"We surely were not trying to take cheap shots at the pope or the Catholic Church, nor were we criticizing Catholics. The Catholic Church occupies a very significant position in the world and claims to be the way of salvation for hundreds of millions of people. Any organization that assumes that position should be willing to submit to scrutiny and criticism. All who criticize have the obligation to be truthful in presenting the facts and fair and objective in assessing such. In both respects we try to live up to that obligation.—ED.
