My parents got a doorbell that takes video... this is why.

I asked my dad what made him get a $200 doorbell that takes video. My parents are never very up on technology and live life pretty tight on money. I was surprised they would spend what little money they had on a silly gadget. My mother said “after what happened to the brothers and sisters in russia who were takin from their homes we got the bell so if your fathers at work and they come to take me he’ll know what’s going on”. I told them that sort of thing won’t happen in America but whatever. It’s sad they have to live in fear because of the society’s sick twisted game they play with peoples lives.
