Tulie Francoise Pierre, 82, of Rotonda West, Florida died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at home.

Tulie was born April 13, 1937 in Haiti and immigrated to the United States in 1965. She was a retired dietary aide/ nursing assistant in Jersey City, New Jersey. She and her husband J. Emile moved to Florida from Roselle, NJ 15 years ago. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Englewood, Florida.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband J. Emile Pierre of Rotonda West, FL; four daughters, A. Marjorie Maurice-Emile of Morris Plains, NJ, Gina Rene Cham of Newark, NJ, Tamar Emile of East Orange, NJ and Nancy Toussaint of Sugar Land, TX; two sons Jean Marie Robert Grava of Irvington, NJ and Harry Grava of Newark, NJ; four sisters, Marie Therese St. Jour of Irvington, NJ, Marie France Zamilus of Port Charlotte, FL and Gertrude Pompee St. Petersburg, FL; Michael-Ange Ridore of Port Charlotte, FL; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:30 PM, June 15, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9654 Gulfstream Blvd., Englewood, FL34224. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.

Memorial contribution in lieu of flowers may be made to the Kingdom Hall or a favorite charity.
