I think the same rule applies to found treasure that applies to Real Estate transactions .... if any "agreements" are not in writing, they don't exist.

It didn't happen.

Unless of course you forgot that the only way two people can keep a secret is if one of them is dead.

Then it is usually settled in a courtroom.
