The onus is on you to suggest this scripture is for some special class of self-appointed (or otherwise people),

I can see the jealousy in your words. There is no onus on me to prove anything, as it comes directly from scripture. So you have a choice, you believe God's word or you don't.

It's kind of strange of you to suggest that the Anointed are self appointed. Whereas the GB appoint themselves as the Faithful and Discreet slave. I see hypocrisy there.

Well I'll just quote from a Watchtower here then.

    Hello guest!

“We Want to Go With You”

1, 2. (a) What did Jehovah say would happen in our time? (b) What questions will be answered in this article? (See opening picture.)

SPEAKING of the time in which we are living, Jehovah foretold: “In those days ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold, yes, they will take firm hold of the robe of a Jew, saying: ‘We want to go with you, for we have heard that God is with you people.’” (

    Hello guest!
) Like the figurative ten men, those who have an earthly hope have taken “firm hold of the robe of a Jew.” They are proud to associate with the spirit-anointed “Israel of God,” knowing that Jehovah is blessing his anointed ones.—
    Hello guest!
.

So it seems that even your GB / Watchtower believe the same as me.  The difference being though that i don't believe your GB is the JEW that people need to follow.

You (and others) seem to have a problem with believing in and helping those that are Truly Anointed, but go careful as you may recall the words of Jesus saying (recorded at Matthew 25 )

When did we see you a stranger and receive you hospitably, or naked and clothe you? 39  When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40  In reply the King will say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.

Then they too will answer with the words: ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you?’ 45  Then he will answer them, saying: ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me.’ 46  These will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones into everlasting life.”

Your jealousy could loose you your life.

I don't think you're a bad example. I find your posts encouraging and I'm sure a lot of other people here do. I think some of the "complainers" may just be working out their own demons, or I hope they are. Jehovah knows we cause most of our problems just fine all by ourselves.

I have noticed that the desire to see God's promises fulfilled (nothing wrong with that of course), drives the human spirit to "predict" or "hope for" the end always in their life time. The pattern is clear: Russell hoped for the end in 1874 then 1914, Rutherford 1925, Franz 1975, the 80's GB by the end of the 20th century, today's GB between now and aprox. 2035. Each generation would say their children aren't going to make it to school....now those  children have children of their own...and g

I think you need to explain this part of your comment too.

Are you saying that the Watchtower / JW Org is a cult, and that the Anointed are the cult within it ?

Or are you saying that the Anointed are a cult and that the True Anointed are a cult within it ?

I think you need to examine you heart condition toward God and Christ.

It strikes me that you're really into the idea that magical-crown-wearing people exist and somehow should be given preference for their declarations that they have magical-crowns.

If anyone wants to get together and they feel they are superfine apostles, they can certainly do this, but I think this cult-within-a-cult of those initiated into the sanctum-sanctorum is a bit fat mistake. That's what I think this is about.

There is an anointed body, that must not be separated from one another.  1 Cor chapter 12

But what you see taking place in the Wt;  what you take part in, and what you believe as elders having full authority to rule over all, even the anointed, is an acceptable teaching...from superfine apostles. (Matt 24:48-51)

“Representing the royal priesthood are appointed elders, who serve in positions of responsibility in congregations of Jehovah’s people around the earth. These men deserve our respect and wholehearted support, whether they are of the anointed or not. Why? Because, through his holy spirit, Jehovah has appointed the older men to their positions. (Hebrews 13:7,17) How can that be?  w02 8/1 p. 13-14

These scriptures in Hebrews apply to the anointed body and their gifts, positions assigned to them by God as outlined in Eph 4:7-16.  However, Eph 4:7,8 is applied to you and your fellow elders instead.  This is verified in your magazines.

Were you appointed by Holy Spirit to be an elder?  Is this why you cross your fingers behind your back when approached by other elders for your rogue actions?

The crowns are worn by the elders in the organization – not by the anointed – not in the Wt. You have power over them, to judge them as spiritually “dead”.  (Rev 13:11,12,15)  Their status as God’s priests has been robbed from them, and given to the elders. (Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9)  Although gathered/surrounded by a spurious rule over them, they are “scattered” throughout the congregations.  They have been taken spiritually captive, to lies.  Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; 16:13-16

You can either support the lie and continue to relish your position of lording it over the anointed, or you recognize them as God's genuine dwelling of Holy Spirit, and break the bonds of falsehoods  (1 Cor 3:16,17)

Do you know who the Wt. says are the locust swarm in Revelation 9?  It states these locusts are the anointed, with a stinging message. This is a lie.  This huge army comes against the anointed who have not been sealed in the heavens - the anointed under elder rule.  (Rev 9:3,4; 7:4)

I found interesting claims on JWorg about GB.

The Governing Body is a small group of mature Christians who provide direction for Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide. Their work is twofold:

They oversee the preparation of Bible-based instruction through the publications, meetings, and schools of Jehovah’s Witnesses.—Luke 12:42.

They supervise the worldwide work of Jehovah’s Witnesses by directing our public ministry and overseeing the use of donated assets.

The Governing Body follows the pattern set by “the apostles and elders in Jerusalem” in the first century, who made important decisions on behalf of the entire Christian congregation. (Acts 15:2) Like those faithful men, the members of the Governing Body are not the leaders of our organization.

The Governing Body has established six committees to oversee various aspects of our work, and each member serves on one or more of these committees. -

    Hello guest!

Committees job is to: ... supervises ...oversees...directs)

I found this claims about "non leadership" status in WTJWorg confusing and is semantic dodge. Article says;  GB are not leaders. But their roles are explained with terminology that supports leadership position. They oversee, they supervise, they make important decisions. :))

And now we have 2 quotes:

Today, the Governing Body represents the faithful and discreet slave class. There was a similar arrangement in the first century. -

It seems how FDS is "represented by" two Administration bodies: with GB and with Elders. And controversy going further with this statements:

The faithful slave must be made up of anointed Christians on earth. Such ones are called “a royal priesthood” .......It is only fitting that members of that “royal priesthood” have a direct share in teaching fellow believers the truth.-

    Hello guest!

:)) and also tragic theology for JW members.

By what you, and what @4Jah2me continue to lay out on the table, proves that this people, this organization that taught me truth was logical...that the organizational arrangement is logical...proves their "logic", their "truth",  is nothing but illogical insanity.

I'd say that what's making the nations mad right now is the nihilist ideology of postmodernism. In postmodernism, there is no such thing as truth (which is a self-refuting statement as it's an absolute statement of truth), but only a game of power and word games. The street activity is anarchism, marxism and misery fueling the schisms as each splinter group is taught to hate the other groups is a decending spiral of self-loathing and its culture of victimhood. Math is racist, science is racist, biology isn't real, diverse outcomes simply have to be the result of oppression, not free will decisions and differing capabilities. It's all a global mental illness.

Well, I’ve been on another forum and found this snippet from your Wt. study tomorrow and the opening comment:

“Tomorrow's WT. They're going to lap up this paragraph. One thing I hate, all of us who have left and are truly happy away from the organization and prospering are called wicked and our happiness superficial. Makes me sick 🤮

image.png

I just had share my comment with 26 others (and added to by the minute) who have left the organization:

Oh man. JWs will definitely drink down this poison. (Heb 12:15; Rev 8:10,11)

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." Isa 5:20

This is an organization built on lies, false prophesies, child abuse and exploitation committed by its leaders. It has trampled the anointed priesthood with its own bogus “priesthood” – the elder body. (Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4); Rev 11:1,2)

Of course, it would be this evil element that would state, “let us never envy wicked people who seem to prosper”.  Our best example of this? The GB.

"Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight." Isa 5:21

The writer of Ps 73 spoke of envying the wicked, the arrogant of Israel.  But he found it to be a trap. (Matt 24:4,5,23,24; Col 2:8; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 13:10)  Spiritual “Israel” in the anointed today, is led by the GB, whom we have come to understand as with all leaders of the WT, are part of “Israel”.

I think we can easily see the comparison of the wicked of ancient Israel, to today's WT leaders:

“They have an easy time until they die, and their bodies are well fed.

5 They are not in trouble like others; they are not afflicted like most people.

6 Therefore, pride is their necklace, and violence covers them like a garment.

7 Their eyes bulge out from fatness; the imaginations of their hearts run wild.

8 They mock, and they speak maliciously; they arrogantly threaten oppression.

9 They set their mouths against heaven, and their tongues strut across the earth.

10 Therefore His people turn to them and drink in their overflowing words.

11 The wicked say, “How can God know? Does the Most High know everything?”

12 Look at them—the wicked! They are always at ease, and they increase their wealth." Ps 73:4-12

My big question is just how insane it will have to get before Jehovah intervenes.

When you see the GB deposed, dismissed, disfellowshipped, you'll physically perceive the beginning of God's intervention.

Jer 13:25-27; Nahum 3:4-6; Rev 17:15-18 -

Who are the "kings of the earth" of Rev 17:18? - The anointed under their King, Jesus Christ.  Rev 1:5 When you read Revelation, this makes a total difference in its meaning, and who it is addressed to.

    Hello guest!

It seems to me that paragraph is speaking of wicked people who appear to be happy. If you aren't wicked and you're happy, then this wouldn't apply to you. There are people who are ignorant of what the bible says as to the hope for the future or incorrectly assess the hope and find some happiness and that's undeniable, however until this system is replaced we can all agree that no one's happiness is complete. Everyone must choose their own path. If you've chosen a path you consider to be superior, then you can rejoice in your superior way of life. The thing everyone would do well to consider is that no one is immune from sin or even a heart which is potentially treacherous.

And this doesn't apply to your GB?  Or, the doctrine that they teach that is false?  The false hope that the organization  they serve, and JWs with them, will lead everyone to salvation?    Or, JWs, especially pioneers (not those who are in jail at the moment) who believe they live "the best life ever"?  Do they add that footnote to the video about living the best life ever for those who may watch the video while lounging in prison?  Or, do they know the video exists?  What irony, right?  The best life ever and the worst life ever are both found in your organization; all based on servitude to men.

Believe me, it applies 100 percent to the GB who say, "do you shoot the dog?" for getting their predictions wrong.

Their undeniable happiness is in what Satan promised those who "worship" him in exchange for prominence, power and riches.  You have been deceived.  Luke 4:6-8

The thing everyone would do well to consider is that no one is immune from sin or even a heart which is potentially treacherous.

Not even Watchtower's leaders.  We should avoid  the obvious treacherous hearts.

Summoning the crowd, he told them, “Listen and understand: 11 It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth—this defiles a person.

12 Then the disciples came up and told him, “Do you know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard what you said?”

13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted. 14 Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”  Matt 15:10-13

So, what if a JW went up to G. Jackson and stated those scriptures after he gave his talk, pleading not to shoot the dog?  I doubt that it will go well for the one who spoke Christ's words.  In that respect, that person will learn who lords it over them.
