The law of supply and demand is an economic model used to determine the price of an asset in a market. This law of supply and demand will therefore lead to an economic equilibrium for the price of an asset as well as the volume of trade. An existing asset in limited quantity for which demand would be strong would necessarily see its price increase if we stick to this law. Indeed, strong demand from buyers would allow sellers to sell at a higher price. Absolutely empty Beijing train station amid coronavirus scare.

Why do economists all expect this virus to shave only 1% off of China's GDP? Isn't this sort of a big deal economically speaking or am I missing something? -

@TrueTomHarley I haven't read that specific book but If you look on the links below you should see one with an expose type video from Glenn Beck that is pretty straightforward. I hadn't thought about the Spanish usury laws getting in the way before.... Interesting.

@TrueTomHarley It seemed pre-internet enough to make my point. I'm not even sure though that the Internet is to blame for the polarization and censorship.

Modern society seems so quick to want to muzzle people. Black and White Label and Kill No discourse. No dissention. No tolerance of different ideologies. The modern large corporations use AI to automatically block people. It seems to me society allowed crazy people to lie in 1980. Society dealt with it. Nowadays people are "shadow banned" and even doxxed online by evil netizen mobs. Scary.... I started off believing in "Free Speech"..... still do.... I have learned though that you cannot be allowed to yell "fire!" in cinema. There is a line.... it just seems like the world has moved that line way too close to embracing "Big Brother" mentality.

@Isabella Interesting. I didn't know they did that either. I usually order Pepperoni and Onion. I like the mix. I am assuming the pepperoni is normal... 😉

I tried to simplify the site as much as possible today. We should see some major improvement in a few months. Enjoy!
