    Good point! I come across this with trintarians and members of Christendom. One would need to consider the text to sort it out. Or just read the New World Translation and compare. I did come across something that may enhance your perpective as it did mine. I am sure you are aware of how (Rev 1:8) is often twisted. A good majority of Greek Scritpure in the NT comes from the Hebrew Scripture of the OT. "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the LORD (God Jehovah Isa 44:6; Gen 17:1; Exo 6:3 ), which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."(Rev 1:8 KJV) Earlier versions had LORD in all captials giving us witness marks that the Tetragrammaton was removed. It's tougher today since they went one more step and now simply have Lord. But the cross references are there for all to see and read.

Everything in the first three clauses has a definite article with one exception. The exception of leaving out the definite article in relating to (theos) de-emphasizes it to (a god).     I appreciate what Strong's #3068 - יהוה explaination was. That the proper Name was indeed Jehovah and how this was pronunced yeh-ho-vaw from the transliteration Yehôvâh. So credit is due. When I saw it... in an instant I knew. Did not need to be pursaded at all. There it was in black and white for all to see.     Doesn't JESUS also have names in both Hebrew and Greek meaning Destroyer? Revelation 9:11 They have over them a king, the angel of the abyss. In Hebrew his name is A·badʹdon, but in Greek he has the name A·polʹlyon. Revelation 18:1 After this I saw another angel descending from heaven with great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his glory. Tthis quote from JESUS is for the Commentator with No Name: I have come in the NAME of my Father, but you do not receive me. If someone else came in his own name, you would receive that one.     Claiming JESUS never use God's Name JEHOVAH is a false and hyprocitical statement. Just calling the Messiah JESUS, gives WITNESS to his God and Father JEHOVAH. Also, when you quote scripture from Bible Books from writers with Names to bear WITNESS to JEHOVAH, you are only calling JUDGEMENT to YOURSELF. And that is a good thing due to the timing of things that the Last Days are coming to thier end . יהוה הוא האל ואביו של אדוננו ישוע.

    Do you call Christ, "Son" as Jehovah did? So, too, the Christ did not glorify himself by becoming a high priest, but was glorified by the One who said to him: “You are my son; today I have become your father.”
