This talk of trying to obtain a global ceasefire so that nations can fight the Coronavirus sure looks interesting! 
If they do manage to sanction some sort of global truce then the UN and its members may well start claiming Peace & Security. 2020 being the 75th Anniversary of the ending of WW2 & the formation of the UN in 1945. As Putin said it would be "symbolic"

I knew this elder very well years ago Absolutely shocked to read this

Reading the news reports on this potentially major find I was delighted to read that this clay seal purported to be a clay seal of Isaiah was found only 10 feel away from where the Royal seal of Hezekiah - King of Judea & Jerusalem - had been found recently also.
As we will all remember from the drama at the convention in 2016, King Hezekiah looked to Isaiah for counsel from Jehovah on matters of state. So for these signature seals to be found in close proximity, yet again we find the Bible being proved accurate & historical. 
Amazing to think also that these seals date back to the time when Jehovah's Angel destroyed 185,000 Assyrian troops of the then dominant world empire ruled by the merciless King Sennacherib; after he had Jehovah's name taunted in front of the gates of Jerusalem & threatened to annihilate its residents & destroy the City & the temple.
How we all long for the day when everyone on earth will come to know that Jehovah alone is the true God & that his name has been vindicated.

I don't think I'm alone wondering wether this year's Memorial will turn out to have been the last...but whatever we love our worldwide brotherhood & just encourage one another to endure to the end & not give up!

We have over 40 children in our congregation
A case was dealt with appropriately & effectively although I only know the identity of the young offender as his court case was in the paper, no families or children have stopped coming to the hall. The authorities were immediately informed & action taken so I understand when the victim came forward.
obviously cases have not been handled effectively in the past, which is unfortunate & as a Mum makes me angry
However Jesus never said Jehovah's people would be a perfect organisation, look at the Israelites - King David etc but what he said was the identifying mark would be the love that was manifest.
These headlines will of course make Jah's heart sad & his son but all we can do is trust in him to put matters right & bring about a time when NO more sexual abuse or ANY abuse will take place anywhere on the earth.

Also I thought perhaps this also reflects that world events are moving very fast Printed literature can be out of date before its published perhaps re the information it contains. Whereas website content can be updated immediately. 
This means that the GB can put out information very quickly worldwide. 

The letter was read at Mid week meeting re changes. Literature reduced so we concentrate on being teachers rather than deliverers of placements but certainly not finishing. 
Looking forward to watching annual meeting to see more of the context & talks as 2016 talks for our encouragement were fab "expect the unexpected"
