  1. Can anyone explain this to me?: Rev. 20:5 -- “(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.)…”? I thought that our loved ones will be resurrected DURING the 1,000 years… Does it maybe mean that they do not come to “everlasting life” until the 1,000 years are ended? Full Scripture for Reference: (Revelation 20:4, 5) And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had not worshipped the wild beast or its image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.

  3. To JTR (Re: 9/7 - 9/9/17 posts) No man can know the mind of Jehovah since his “thoughts are higher than” our “thoughts.” Jehovah’s perspective of what is going on down here on earth is immensely superior to any man’s view of things. I have personally seen Jehovah answer my prayers more times than I can count… not on MY time schedule, or in the exact WAY that I was praying for. But, since our FATHER in heaven knows so much more about what is best for us, he answers prayers in ways that we could not possibly have ever hoped or dreamed (“more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”). It is a beautiful gift from Jehovah when we try to look beyond our own personal view and try to see and understand things (that is, as best as humanly possible) from Jehovah’s higher perspective. It really can provide us with “the peace of God” ...so does gratitude for all of the wonderful gifts he gives us. May you be able to feel the peace of Jehovah God.
