  1. Thanks
Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Melinda Mills in Are our expectations are in harmony with God's Word?
We are now very close to the great tribulation!
A brother of the betel was concluding his speech when he made the following comment: " Be intensely busy with the word of God," I would like listening very carefully. We who are in Betel we are privileged to work with the faithful and discreet slave and with the body of directors and I wish know you how he feels the body of directors about the time we live now in this system of things.
The faithful slave feels that it is already happened to the Matthew 24:14 prophecy: "quest for good news the kingdom's be preached in all the inhabited earth."
What does the party later this word? He says that ... then the end will come.
He knew you that there are only three countries in the world where there are no Jehovah's Witnesses?
    ONLY 3 countries!
Somalia, North Korea and Afghanistan ...
This does not mean that there does not reach the in our literature to but just that there are not Jehovah's Witnesses. I had mentioned earlier to some friends and they wanted to know why there are no Jehovah's Witnesses in these countries. I 'll tell you the reason.
Jehovah does not send his people to any place where he knows that van there! * (See footnote)
But in these three countries the good news have already been published (I guess it refers to the fact that literature is still available).
Matthew 14, Luke 21, Mark 13, as well as Revelation 6: these words are ending (?)
So what is the biblical prophecy that still has to fulfill?
    You know what?
    The read for you.
See Revelation 17: 15-17 - (read the prophecy)
The faithful slave is waiting for the day Jehovah will put this thought into their hearts.
This is the next prophecy that must be fulfilled. For those who know what it means, this will cause the great tribulation.
Once this is fulfilled , the door will be closed (in a spiritual sense).
Whatever thing you did, you can not go back.
"I could have done this or that if I had more time."
    Now is the time!
How will you spend the time you stay?
For what are you working or are you committed ?
    - in higher education?
    - you are struggling to get more money and material goods?
    - you are engaged in the distractions of the world?
Or are you undertake to favor the kingdom.?
We do things urgently, we try to be quick! (Story running on facebook between of various witnesses of Jehovah accounts)
I want to point out that the aforementioned text is the translation of the translation of a translation and then of specific phrases may have been distorted sense. Apart from that, however, the general sense of the discourse is clear. Assuming that they are not the ravings of some overzealous brother (which still brings out what they believe, more or less openly, many Jehovah's Witnesses), the meaning is as follows. The prophecies have almost all been fulfilled.
    The preaching was completed.
We are just waiting for the fall of Babylon the Great.
Our expectations are really in harmony with God's Word?   That's it? Some brother more in later years and with a good memory will recall that statements like these (views from different angles) have already been made in the past. Without wishing to be too argumentative, beyond the past mistakes, it is clear that sooner or later you have to get to the point where it will begin the great tribulation, will fall Babylon the Great, and you will enter the Millennial Kingdom. The fact we were wrong in the past, more than once, this in itself does not prove that you're wrong again. Could it really be so and definitely not wrong to keep alive the sense of urgency - compare Matthew 24:42; Revelation 16:15 Beyond, however, the "hint" that each of us can have, the only thing we should do is search the scriptures to try to understand "what extent we are old" in reference to biblical prophecy. It is true: if we take the writing of Matthew 24:14 and we make an analysis of the presence of our brothers in the world, probably we would come to the same conclusion of the aforesaid brother in the introduction of this article (always assuming that the report is credible). The question, however, end here? Being such an important subject, it would be no need to also examine other scriptures to see if you dial a credible framework or if "something is not right"? Moreover, as the same "slave" has admitted, they are not inspired and therefore we would like to build on something more than a simple "I want you to know how you feel the governing body about the time we live in." The Bible is not "imperfect spiritual food", does not lend itself to corrections or rewards, does not change with time and definitely do not mind - John 17:17; Romans 3: 4; James 1:17; Titus 1: 2 Obviously you are not suggesting that the interpretations of this blog are infallible; far from it. You simply want to emphasize that the Bible is always to have the last word and so we must look for answers there, not in our desires or people that we value - Matthew 4: 4 Some do not even accept the possibility that even those who are taking the lead can go wrong (as if they were human beings). For some to question the statement "slave" is an indication of lack of respect and submission but this is a myopic view of the situation. We know that many times the people of God fed wrong expectations about the future and about the will of God - compares Isaiah 28: 14-19 They were the people of God but this, in itself, did not guarantee the protection and the priests themselves, more often, showed a complete ignorance of the Scriptures - John 3:10 This also happened with good intentions and the best people - compares 1 Samuel 16: 7 Considering the biblical past, trying to see what the Bible says to beyond the proclamation and to everyone who comes , is not it the best? - 1 Thessalonians 5:21; Romans 15: 4; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 The Lord Jesus Christ himself, the one who was the wisest of all men , and that he could speak of his own initiative, not perhaps did the same? - Matthew 4: 4-10 Questioning certain statements (not for bias, of course) is not a lack of respect towards the index "slave"; on the contrary, it shows profound respect for the one true authority of God's Word - Psalm 31: 5; Acts 17:11 Let us examine the claim that the prophecies would almost all be fulfilled, and we just have to wait the fall of Babylon the Great. The officer says that understanding God's Kingdom was established in heaven in 1914, by 1918 the heavens were purified, in 1919 the heavenly resurrection began (as well as the purification of the people of God) and so on. Perhaps there is some error in this generalization also because of the constant "adjustments" (adjustments that change the periods of a few months, ever the concepts) but roughly this is what you believe.

In this article you will see just how the logic and writing can corroborate or invalidate these ideas. The official explanation identifies the slaughtered head of death Revelation 13: 3 as the Anglo-American empire. It is true that the book that lists this explanation (the Revelation Its Grand Climax) has now been withdrawn but there is nothing new on the horizon that, until there is a different explanation, this is the ultimate understanding accepted. As we saw this explanation is problematic because the Anglo-American empire, according to official explanations, is the "king of the South" described in the Bible book of Daniel. However in Daniel is the king of the north to win the last war, and so it is obvious that something is not right - Daniel 11: 40-45 Of course we can not say that Daniel and Revelation contradict, does not it? To focus with Daniel Revelation there are only two possibilities. Or the Anglo-American empire is actually the king of the north ** (see note below) or head slaughtered to death that you see in Revelation can not be the Anglo-American empire. Does not it seem logical reasoning? How can the Anglo-American empire (and be the king of the south) if Daniele does understand that the last ruling king, or what will be defeated by Michele, is the king of the north? In Revelation we do not see another political power that defeats the beast that ascends from the sea. After the Great War (which can also have multiple stages), do not talk about other human wars in Revelation, right? - 1 Thessalonians 5: 3 The last war we are talking about and who participates in this beast is against the God Almighty - Revelation 16: 10-14, 16 The conclusion is logical. Apart from the fact that the end will come when the preaching has reached "all the inhabited earth" before this you will see the clash between the king of the north and the king of the south. And must win the king of the north, of course. In the last World War he has probably won the king of the north as well as to assert that "we just have to wait over the fall of Babylon the Great"? Absolutely no. The last king of the north was the Third Reich and, during the battle against the king of the south (the Anglo-American empire, in fact) it came out defeated. This is a prophecy that still has not been fulfilled and it is more than enough to establish that it is not enough that the preaching arrivals in these last three remaining countries. Among other things, the writing of Matthew 24:14 does not give any basis for determining how long the good news has to take place in a given country in order to receive adequate testimony. If tomorrow our brothers  they come in those nations and begin to preach ... how much time would pass until God considered adequate and sufficiently complete that testimony? The answer is simple: we do not know . However, although that has yet to burst the war between the king of the north and king of the south, it is conceivable that in the meantime there are other prophecies that have to be fulfilled or are being fulfilled, is not it? As we have seen in several previous articles before the war should emerge a certain persecution of brothers (you have tribulation, but is not yet the great tribulation ) because the king of the north must start to suppress the daily sacrifice (the preaching work ) until you get to completely suppress it - see Daniel 8: 10-12, 24, 25 In our recent past, the preaching work was perhaps suppressed completely, which it did by means of the king of the north? According to the prophecy, and this must be done only during the last years of the scheme of things it must have a last impulse - compares Revelation 10:11; 14: 6, 7 E 'at this point that the preaching work will reach the ends of the earth, and this will happen very quickly - Zechariah 4: 6 The total suppression of preaching did not happen even during the Second World War and certainly did not happen in all countries; Also this leaves well understand that it is a prophecy to come. There is much more to say but the above should be sufficient, even for those who disagree with the explanations of this blog, to reflect that the Great, "you can not expect only the fall of" Babylon. Who has respect for the Bible itself to be shaped by it. Of course what has been said does not want to show that the end will come "who knows when." In contrast, recent international events suggest that we are far ahead in the end time  All the events described above will occur in a very short time so when we can really begin to come to "raise high head" - Luke 21:28 Those who have lifted up their heads in 1914 all died with a stiff neck but when these things begin to take place (such as the war between the king of the north and king of the south) we can do it peacefully because of this incident until the actual fall of Babylon the Great (which will not be the world empire of false religion ) will spend a maximum of ten years. So us ensure that our expectations are in harmony with the Word of God not to be disappointed - Isaiah 28:16 Us ensure that our expectations are in harmony with the Word of God to be prepared for what's to come and not discouraged - 2 Peter 1:19; Proverbs 24:10 Us ensure that our expectations are in harmony with the Word of God, ultimately, for our lives - Matthew 7:24, 25     The Bible traces the path. It will not lead to disappointment.   Footnote. * The translation was not very clear. ** From previous articles we saw that the Anglo-American empire is indeed the king of the south.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Melinda Mills in What does a person have to do to survive Armageddon?
Regardless of the fact that I do not share much of the Governing Body's explanation, when did the time for Jerusalem's destruction approach them, they did not have to stand up and go? Did not they have to do something practical and immediately even if they were old and sick?
From what little I understood (little: I used the translator) would not it have been enough that they had faith in Jehovah?
Since Jehovah is Almighty and can protect His people in any circumstance, Christians of the first century could also decide not to leave Jerusalem, no?
Obviously there are many other things to say.
The instructions come from the Word of God (and will not come from a divine inspiration) so it is important to study the Bible to understand what we must do when approaching the Armageddon War.
But many of us believe they have understood everything and are not allowed to discuss or look.
They wait for instructions from others.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from tromboneck in Which nations disappear in Armageddon?
Everyone can say what he wants. However, the order of events is well described in Revelation.
At the end of Armageddon Satan is bound and thrown into the abyss - Revelation 20: 1-3
The first resurrection is completed - Revelation 20: 4-6
At the end of a thousand years, Satan is dissolved to divert the nations to the four corners of the earth and finally thrown into the lake of fire - Revelation 20: 7-10
Then the resurrection of the dead takes place - Revelation 20: 11-15
It is not difficult to understand the order of events if we read the text without preconceptions.
There is no mention of "real life" or "fake life".
the resurrection takes place at the end of the millennium.
Obviously someone will say that Revelation "is not written in chronological order" but this is not logical.
In Revelation one speaks of the seven seals of the scroll that the Lamb opens.
The seals are in chronological order.
So we talk about the seven trumpets and also these are in chronological order
The "governing body" says that they are not in chronological order
In fact, the seventh trumpet would be played in 1914 while the sixth in 1922 or so (now I do not remember precisely).
Meanwhile, the meaning of sixth and seventh is not logical.
"Sixth" does not only indicate the number of the trumpet but also that it sounds after the fifth and before the seventh.
I have compared other translations and all give the same meaning.
Moreover, it is a scriptural problem because the apostle Paul, speaking precisely of this trumpet (that is, the one concerning the resurrection of the dead) he defines it "the last trumpet" - 1 Corinthians 15:52 (compare with Revelation 11: 15; 12: 1).
So if the seventh trumpet played in 1914, and it is the last one, this means that the other trumpets must have played previously.
Instead, if we simply read what is written, the trumpets are sequential (regardless of the start date you want to give) and eventually the "cups of the wrath of God" are sequential.
So the question is: if the seals, the trumpets and the cups are sequential (and we come up to chapter 16 of Revelation) with what logic can we say that the rest of the book is not in chronological order?
Thus, if we read the order of the events of Revelation of chapter 19, we understand exactly that "the rest of the dead did not come to life until (ie: until the moment in which") the thousand years are finished ".
Now start with the controversy as well.
For me, the Bible, it is the only authority.

Chapters 19 and 20 of Revelation will unveil some significant details about the war of Armageddon and what will happen next. These details will include two major changes to the current understanding and, just as happened with the identity of Babylon the Great, this "change of vision" will be a real stumbling block for many Jehovah's Witnesses. These chapters will be examined in the next article but, faced with such a serious change of understanding for two other subjects, it was decided to treat them separately in the light of the whole Scripture. First of all we must realize that the Revelation speaks of the resurrection at the end of the millennium, and not during the millennium. This will be dealt with in detail in due course. For the moment ... accept this possibility only to make the theme of this article comprehensible, which must answer the question, in fact, "which nations disappear in Armageddon?". It is clear that here we return to the usual "problem" if the book was written in chronological order or not but meanwhile we saw that the 7 seals are sequential, the 7 trumpets must be sequential (the apostle Paul calls the seventh trumpet "the last trumpet") and so also the seven cups of the wrath of God. If all this is sequential ... is it consistent to think that just the last chapters are not? Let's try to read the whole chapter 20 of Revelation and follow the order of events. Satan is dissolved from his prison, then misleads the nations that are at the corners of the earth, these surround the field of saints and then are killed by fire coming down from the sky. After this event, the death and hades return the dead that are in them - Revelation 20: 11-13 The writing of Revelation 20: 4 says that the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were over. "Until" means "up to the moment" and not "during" and this would mean that in these thousand years the elect would rule on the survivors of Armageddon and their families, but not the resurrected ones. The same term, "until", used in Matthew 1:25, we have always used it to show that Joseph did not have relations with his wife Marie until the birth of the child. This should be sufficient to show that the resurrection will take place after the end of the millennium, a concept that seems to be reaffirmed in verses 12 and 13. We will go deeper into these verses but now let's focus on these "rebels" who attack the people of God. Who are they and where did they come from? Revelations 20:7-10 says... "Now as soon as the 1,000 years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison, 8 Â and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Ma?gog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea. 9  And they advanced over the whole earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and consumed them.+ 10  And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulfur, where both the wild beast+ and the false prophet already were;+ and they will be tormented* day and night forever and ever". At the end of a thousand years, Satan is dissolved to "mislead those nations that are in the four corners of the earth" and gathers them to war. It seems really incredible that something like that happens! Is it possible that in the new world people still organize themselves in political nations, that create divisions and that even attack the part of that people remained faithful? This is the first hypothesis and roughly represents the current intention. Before thinking that it is nonsense ... is it possible to hypothesize that during the Armageddon war a part of the earth is spared also to allow the survival of the people of God? In several parts of the Bible it is said that during the time of judgment his faithful people escapes finding shelter to Edom, Moab and Ammon (which by the way are also the cities spared from the world war) - Compare for example Daniel 11:41 with Isaiah 16: 4; Psalm 108: 8-10 with Jeremiah 40: 10, 11 These three nations (Edom, Moab and Ammon) were mountainous / hilly and this recalls the words Jesus spoke to his disciples - Matthew 24: 15, 16 Does Scripture warn all Christians in the world to flee to the nearest mountains as soon as they see the disgusting thing about Israel? Indeed, if the destruction of Babylon the Great gave rise to Armageddon (as we have seen) and not to the great tribulation, "fleeing the mountains" would mean that Jehovah would save these mountains by force of things. In fact these "mountains" could be a specific locality of the earth where Jehovah will lead his people just before Armageddon. This or these locations would then be "preserved by judgment". It would not be the first time that Jehovah, in his love and mercy, avoids destroying a certain people because of his servants. According to the account of Genesis 19:21, 22, the angels of Jehovah avoid destroying Zoar for consideration of Lot, and yet, from what is understood by reading the whole story, that "little city" was part of Sodom or Gomorrah and therefore had to be destroyed. The war of Armageddon actually destroys the satanic system composed of the wild beast, the false prophet and his supporters. All those nations that are compact in fighting against the Lamb also fall. The vast majority of people die in this war because blinded and branded by the wild beast but will die all those who are not Christians? The Philadelphia congregation is told that "it would be preserved by the test that must come on the entire inhabited earth" and that this can be done at least hypothesizes that some Christians find shelter in a "free zone" - Revelation 3:10 If we can hypothesize this, then the nations that at the end of the millennium decide to attack the people of God, could be born from these surviving strains. Why, in fact, would you make a distinction between them and "the field of saints"? Are not all the inhabitants of the new world "saints"? In the new world will there be a "field of saints" and a "field of non-saints"? Another confirmation could come from the very protection of Jerusalem above; it is said to "fly in the desert" far from the face of the serpent. When Satan tries to make her drown "the earth comes to her aid" and this means that at least until the last moment of divine judgment there is still a "stable" part of the world - Revelation 12:15 This could also explain why the resurrection does not take place during this millennium; simply because you are not yet in that new world that we imagine even if it will already be a new world and you will already have many reasons to be happy. We should probably make a distinction between "millennial reign" (which will bring many blessings to faithful humanity) and "new world" that will begin after the resurrection, at the moment when Christ returns the kingdom to his God and Father. This period could simply be a period of transition during which human beings can live in peace without the influence of Satan and under the guidance of divine teaching for all those who wish to obey. In fact, one of the questions Satan raised in the Garden of Eden was precisely if man was able to govern himself but man, with the interference of Satan, he never really ruled alone.       Can man direct his steps without God and without Satan? Also to this we must answer   This is related to the words of Revelation 20: 3; Satan is bound "not so misleads the nations" and that it is necessary to give definitively answer to the issue raised in Eden. However, if all the nations were destroyed at Armageddon ... how could he mislead them? Would it make sense to say that Satan is bound to keep the nations that no longer exist? Possible nations in the four corners of the earth, born of this spared stock, could show if man is really able to govern himself in favorable conditions, that is without the influence of Satan. After this last human rebellion, which will have consciously shown that they prefer Satan's government to that of Jehovah, both Satan and disobedient humanity will be eliminated forever. Only after the resurrection of the dead and after their judgment "death and Ades will be thrown into the lake of fire" and therefore we should assume that, throughout the millennium, despite having favorable conditions, we will continue to age and die? It is unthinkable because the anointed rulers will fulfill their priestly functions by expiating the sin of humanity and thus preventing the death of their subjects. Death that, however, will always be lurking and not yet permanently eliminated until the end of the millennium. It will be "the last enemy" to be eliminated in fact, if at the end of the millennium there will still be "enemies to be eliminated" (the nations surrounding the holy field), this should demonstrate that the resurrection, and therefore the definitive elimination of death, it will happen only after that event - I Corinthians 15:26 In this regard the writing of I Corinthians 15:24, 25, if read carefully, seems to specify the order of events, that is, Jesus Christ will deliver the Kingdom to his God and Father when he has reduced to nothing "every government and every authority and power". Obviously if every government and every authority and power were reduced to nothing during the war of Armageddon, He (Jesus Christ) should deliver the government at that very moment, that is, when he had just taken power. Let's reread these last six lines and try to understand their meaning even if "this meaning" goes out blatantly against our most deeply rooted convictions. Verse 25 says ... "For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet". This would seem to mean that there will still be enemies during the millennial reign. So the Kingdom ruled by Christ will be a temporary provision to Jehovah's praise to bring humanity back to perfection and this can also include the destruction of the last governments, authorities and powers, which will ultimately refuse to submit - Revelation 20: 8     Who will truly surround the "field of saints"?     In Ezekiel chapter 38 the verses from 8 on wards it is said that attention will be paid to Gog of Magog after "many days" and therefore suggests that these had been left out that is not taken into account or spared during of judgment. Does not it seem a contradiction that Gog of Magog exists at the end of the satanic system of things and exists again in the new world at the end of the millennium? Does it not reflect that this "coalition of nations" always has the same name and indeed, in the description of Ezekiel, does not the subject change at all? If Gog of Magog is a coalition of nations, does not it seem strange that nations are formed under the reign of Christ? It is a contradiction only if we take for granted that all governments and all people are really destroyed in Armageddon. Evidently Gog of Magog does not exist again but it still exists (ie it has never ceased to exist). If "pay attention to him" after many days it means that they are always theirs and the "many days" are all the years of the millennial reign. Gog of Magog always has the same name because it is always the same subject. The people who "accumulate wealth and property" are obviously the people of God (the "field of saints" according to Revelation) and this indicates the many blessings that God's people will have during the millennial reign and the contrast with other peoples (why specify that there is a people that accumulates wealth if all accumulate the same riches?). Blessings that, apparently, will not have Gog of Magog otherwise there would be no such contrast and there would be no reason to feel envy - Ezekiel 38:12; compare Proverbs 10:22 Why, moreover, would there be this contrast with those who "do not even bar and doors" if we are all in a new world of peace, without thieves or other criminals? - Ezekiel 38:11 If read simply for what it is, the scripture really seems to indicate that, during the millennial reign of Christ, there still exist peoples who have bars and doors and are evidently those who have never been interested in the will of God for whom they must put " bars and doors" and pay attention to their own brothers. The events related to Gog Magog, described in chapters 38 and 39 of Ezekiel, are full of interesting details but one of the things that stands out right now is the distinction between them and Israel. It therefore seems that Israel, or the holy people of God, will live together with these other peoples for a thousand years - Ezekiel 39: 6, 7 At this point the writing of Isaiah 2: 2-4 acquires a particular meaning. So far we have applied this writing to people who, by accepting the truth today, change their behavior and "make their swords into plowshares" by becoming peaceful people. We have also applied it to the instruction that will be given to the resurrected in the New World, but let us now try to reread it by accepting the possibility of what we have just described. Isaiah 2: 2-4: "In the final part of the days,*The mountain of the house of Jehovah Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains,+And it will be raised up above the hills,And to it all the nations will stream.+  3  And many peoples will go and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah,To the house of the God of Jacob.+ He will instruct us about his ways,And we will walk in his paths.”+ For law* will go out of Zion,And the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.+  4  He will render judgment among the nations And set matters straight* respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning shears.+ Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore".   The mountain of Jehovah's house will be firmly established and raised. When? Evidently when the Satan system is eliminated, it will be clear that Jehovah's way of governing is the best ever. "All nations must flow to it", in what sense and which nations? Many nations have indeed flowed into the people of God, for whom it is recognized that fulfillment could have something to do with our days; nevertheless, it is possible that, at the end of Armageddon, people of the nations survived by the judgment of God (the peoples at the four corners of the earth) decide to flow to the mountain of Jehovah. After the incredible events of Armageddon, it should by now be clear who the True God is and what His people are. In this way, too, Jehovah is sanctified in the midst of the nations. Many people flow and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will certainly walk in his paths" so it's describes as their own initiative and not as someone who has been persuaded through the preaching of the good news. Indeed, they themselves are saying "he will instruct us around his ways". We can imagine that many survivors will flow to the mountain of Jehovah once they have seen the great signs of Armageddon, abandoning their old nation and making the necessary changes to be accepted by God - Compare Revelation 11:13 and Joshua 9: 8-11 Yet it is easy enough to imagine that, despite these unequivocal signs of Jehovah's blessing on His people, not everyone will decide to be part of it. So many people will continue to stay in their nations, with their governments, refusing to rush to Jehovah's mountain. Seen from this perspective, it is no longer so incredible to imagine that, at the end of the millennium, when God's people have accumulated riches and blessings to no end, these nations organize themselves to "take many spoils" - Ezekiel 38: 10-12 Even the writing of Daniel 2:44 should make us reflect. The writing says: "“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom+ that will never be destroyed.+ And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people.+ It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms,+ and it alone will stand forever". What realms is Daniel talking about? If we read the preceding verses we understand that we are talking about the kingdoms that make up the image of a man with a golden head, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of copper, legs of iron and feet of iron and clay . We know very well that these kingdoms are respectively Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, Rome and, according to current understanding, the Anglo-American empire (but, as we saw in a previous article, the last dominant king must be the king of the north). The same powers, also in the book of Daniel, are described as the lion with the wings of an eagle (or Babylon described in Daniel 7: 4), the ravenous bear with three ribs between the teeth (Media- Persia described in Daniel 7: 5), the leopard with four heads and four wings (the Macedonian or Greek empire described in Daniel 7: 6) and the frightful and terrible beast with the iron teeth and the ten horns (Rome and therefore the last power described in Daniel 7: 7, 8, 19). Why are the same realms or domains seen in two different ways? This is interesting because the beast that John sees "ascending from the sea" has characteristics of all these beasts - Revelation 13: 1, 2 It is in fact similar to a leopard, has the feet of a bear, the mouth of the lion and the ten horns of the last beast seen by Daniel. These are the kings that are destroyed by Jesus Christ and his elect at Armageddon, that is, the kingdoms that will coalesce in the final battle. Obviously it includes his image (the UN) and the false prophet - Revelation 19:19, 20 It includes all those who participated in the war, directly or indirectly, and all those who have persecuted or unjustly treated God's people - Revelation 19:21; Zechariah 2: 8 Surely a good part of humanity will be killed in this war because the ruler of the world will make sure to have as many people as possible, but will this mean that all kingdoms and all people will be destroyed except for Christians? Even those insignificant, small realms? Even those isolated from the rest of the world, like islands or small ethnic groups, including those people who, living in countries that are restrictive of religion or other religions, have never had the opportunity to know the marvelous truths of God's word? - See Ezekiel 39: 6 These are questions to think about. It is true that the "good news" was preached in all the inhabited earth before the end of the satanic system ... but did this really understand all the people and everyone really had the same opportunities? Beyond any human hypothesis, the words that should make us reflect more are those reported in Daniel 7:11, 12. The writing says ... "I kept watching at that time because of the sound of the arrogant* words that the horn was speaking;+ I watched until the beast was killed and its body was destroyed and it was given over to be burned in the fire. 12  But as for the rest of the beasts,+ their rulerships were taken away, and their lives were prolonged for a time and a season". What does this mean and how long does it last "a time and a season"? Meanwhile, from the context we see that the horn that speaks great things is referred to the "terrible and terrible beast" that is the last beast of Daniel's vision. There is talk of the period in which "thrones are placed" and "the Ancient of days" sits to judge and therefore can only refer to the time when Jehovah and Christ take power - Revelation 11: 15-18 It is said that the beast is killed and his body is given to the burning fire - Compare Revelation 19:19, 20 It is evident that the scripture is referring to the wild beast of Revelation at the time of its judgment and yet, after specifying that the beast is given to the burning fire (therefore it has been destroyed), verse 12 says ... "But as for the rest of the beasts,+ their rulerships were taken away, and their lives were prolonged for a time and a season". This specifies very clearly that the other domains are not destroyed but allows them to continue to exist for some time after the judgment of Armageddon. We try to stop for a moment and reread the last four lines carefully comparing the cited writings. In fact, if we read Revelation 19: 19-21 carefully, we see that the wild beast, the kings of the earth and their armies gather to make war against Jesus Christ and his army, but who is destroyed among all these? The writing says that the wild beast and the false prophet is taken and thrown into the lake of fire. Then, verse 21 says "the rest were killed with the long sword of him who sat on the horse, which [sword] came out of his mouth." The remaining whom? There are two subjects involved: the kings of the earth and their armies. By saying "the rest" does the vision refer to kings, their armies or both? If he also referred to both of Daniel's writing, he specifies that the domains of these kings are simply removed, not destroyed. Surely die those who are in that position (armies, any generals or kings) in fact the writing says that "they are killed" but they are not said to end up in the lake of fire. We know that the lake of fire means the second death and that is a place from which we do not return so we have the assurance that the wild beast is destroyed so as not to return again but the "remaining" are not uprooted from the earth. Not yet. Those who are waging war against the Lamb are killed, but evidently there will remain something of their kingdoms, that is, the nations belonging to these "remaining" who have been granted an extension for a time and a season. These will have a thousand years to recover and at least a part of them, quite numerous according to the words of Revelation 20: 8, will attack the people of God at the end of the millennium. Gog of Magog existed before Armageddon and will exist even later. Finally, as we have seen, after the destruction of these enemies there is still "one last enemy" to be eliminated: the death - See 1 Corinthians 15:26 This confirms the sequence of events of Revelation.

I have made an article explaining how to do a biblical search and I did not insult or offend anyone.
You have started to say that I am an apostate, a deceiver, one who wants to put "confusion", a false prophet, deceptive etc. etc.
    All right.
    This shows how deep your knowledge of the Bible and how deep is your love for God - Matthew 5:11; 12:36, 37;
I'm also used to this and I expect a lot more for the future - John 16: 1, 2
P.S. But was not I the presumptuous? Are not you that you understand everything?

    Dear AllenSmith,
you will surely have noticed that I use the translator (with many errors) because my english is poor.
So if I misunderstand a question or the purpose of a question, you will understand the reason.
Regarding the meaning of the article, I speak of personal experience (and not presumption). I know very well that with many of my brothers, who have many good qualities, you can not talk about doctrines, you can not challenge an "official truth" because otherwise you are automatically a murmur or apostate.
It's not a novelty that we can not recapture a doctrine so we're not talking about science fiction.
Continue to apply the scriptures to whomever you want. It is not my problem. You will not be judging

    Dear AllenSmith,
If you want to push me to say "The Governing Body" then say "Then you are an apostate!" I assure you that this is not the point.
If I follow any person who has authority (true or supposed) above the Bible, then I am an idolater - Matthew 23: 8
If, on the other hand, there is someone who is able to enter the subject without taking a political position, let's see what the article is about to be published.
The article has highlighted the correct (right, right) method of doing a biblical search.
Who has the authority to determine whether a doctrine is correct or wrong?
    Only the Bible - Matthew 4: 4, 7; John 17:17
The Son of God, every time he taught or responded to his adversaries, never forgot his own wisdom, but always mentioned the Scriptures - Matthew 15: 3-9
How can we make the Bible, and only the Bible, speak when we need to understand a doctrine or teaching?
We have to search the subject in all the scriptures that speak (and also read the context, obviously).
To do this, Concordance is very useful (as seen in the picture).
By doing this you will find that some doctrines are correct and some are wrong.
Those who really love the Bible will respect the Bible.
Those who love their religion, more than the Bible, will pretend nothing and find all "justifications" to continue in error.
Is the article intended to be a rebellion to religion or to create another religion?
Absolutely not because this is the people of God.
However, although this is the people of God this does not mean that there are both doctrinal and organizational errors.
If we read the warnings to the congregations reported in Revelation, we see that false teachings and bad people can enter into the people of God - Revelation 2: 1, 8, 12, 18; 3: 1, 7, 14 (see also 2 Timothy 2: 20-22)
He who examines the congregations will put things into place (even with severe discipline) so we look forward to him, without creating divisions.
But this does not mean that we do not have to study the Bible personally.
It does not mean that we do not have to understand what the Bible really teaches (though we find that some things taught are wrong) and does not mean that we do not have to act according to knowledge acquired according to conscience.
Studying the Bible is a duty of every Christian.
So, for some who understood the article, the encouragement is to study the Bible with the only truly neutral and accurate help: the Bible itself.
When the discipline comes (and it will come) no one thinks to say "I could not know. I was so taught in this way" because judgment will be individual on each of us.
Each of us has a Bible and has the ability to understand it, asking for help from God.
The reaction that someone has been commenting on this article should make us realize that some of us have become idolatrous.
Someone has put their own religion above the Word of God.
When it is not possible to discuss a doctrine (or anything else) even in the face of biblical evidence, it is evident that some people have been placed above the Word of God - Matthew 15: 6
This is one of the reasons (not the only one) for which God will punish his own people.
Individually, though, each of us can be protected from calamity.
I hope that each of you can evaluate this article carefully and personally ascertain what the will of God is for us.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from The Librarian in Let us prepare ourselves for the machinations of Satan!
Let's start with a logical assumption.
Satan is much smarter and more powerful and has much more experience than us.
He is our main adversary and his purpose is to "devour us" - 1 Peter 5: 8
To do this, as we all know, he uses every means at his disposal and one of his "favorite" weapons is lying, deception - Hebrews 2:14; John 8:44
It 'easy to expect that, as he nears the end of his activity, he intensifies his efforts to mislead us - Revelation 20: 2, 3
As we have seen from the previous articles which spoke of the false prophet, Satan is about to prepare his best weapon for his expulsion to the earth - Revelation 13:11
We know that religion will not disappear as many of us have imagined (as it is not Babylon the Great) but will undergo a remarkable "skin change" - compare 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15
If this is correct, we can hypothesize what could happen in the near future also by comparing what has already happened, in the past, that has diverted many of us.
Many of us fail to accept the change of identity of Babylon the Great mainly for two reasons.
To begin with it is one of the doctrines taught with more conviction by the WTS and then, let's face it, it is an almost romantic figure.
Knowing many details of what religion has done over the centuries, including torture and burnings, wars, the killing of many sincere scholars of the Bible, the immorality of its exponents, the bonfires of the translated Bibles ... in short, each of us wondered when Jehovah would ask for the bill.
To come to know that these organizations could be compared to a prostitute who would have been mauled and burned ... well ... this have filled our hearts with a just sense of righteous justice - Matthew 5: 6
In fact, the end that will make "the man of illegality", in the role of the false prophet, will not be very different even if the subject and the performer change drastically - Revelation 19:20
The point is that to break away now from this emblematic and strong figure is difficult because it touches our emotional part.
    We pay attention to this.
If the scriptural references used to derive the identity of Babylon the Great are incorrect or their application is incorrect, then it is right to re-discuss and see if there is another possibility.
If anyone is able to disprove with logic and the Scriptures all the steps to identify Babylon as Great as the modern nation of Israel, let it be - Proverbs 15:22; 1 Thessalonians 5:21
It should interest us only the biblical message - compare Matthew 10:37
If, on the other hand, the scriptural references are clear and specific, they do not contradict each other and somehow disprove or cast a shadow over the old understanding, instead of doing somersaults to try and prove our preconceived ideas ( in practice, forcing the Scriptures) we should simply abandon our "affections" and embrace the Truth of God's Word - John 17:17
Let's do an honest self-examination and evaluate the Scriptural reasons that prevent us from accepting a change of vision (whatever it is).
Satan could exploit our desires, including our preconceived ideas, to completely mislead us - Genesis 3: 6
The apostle Paul said that Satan would use the man of lawlessness with every powerful work, signs and portents of lies and "every unjust deception" - 2 Thessalonians 2: 9. 10

Satan could use our preconceptions, not only our desires?

We have already seen how Satan could do this through the false prophet (ie the man of the illegality of the end time, after the expulsion of Satan on earth) but now we will see how he could do it before, leaving for a moment the portents and concentrating on the concept of "every unjust deception".
Obviously we can not know in detail what Satan will invent soon because of the assumptions made at the beginning.
The warnings of the Lord, in fact, are generic.
Although He has spoken of false Christs and false prophets and great signs, he does not specify what will actually combine our arch-enemy.
The point is that we must be ready and have the means to do so: the Bible, our mental faculties and the help of the Holy Spirit - 1 Peter 5: 9; Romans 12: 1; Ecclesiastes 7:12; Luke 11:13
1 Peter 5: 9 says that in order to resist Satan, we must be solid in faith, and how can we be solid in faith if we do not carefully study the Word of God?
Romans 12: 1 explains that our sacred service includes our faculty of reasoning and Ecclesiastes adds that knowledge is a protection that can keep us alive.
Thus we see that understanding the prophecies (like the rest of the Bible) is not a race between human beings; it's not something to be taken lightly and to be able to say "let's wait and see who's right" because it's about life.
Even the usual phrase, which often turns between brothers, who says that "the prophecies will understand them only when they are fulfilled" is superficial and dangerous.
Meanwhile, we debunk a common place: Daniel understood before their expiry the duration of the years of Babylonian exile by carefully studying the scriptures - Daniel 9: 1, 2 (see footnote *)
So the prophecy, to define itself as "prophecy", must be understood before its coming true otherwise it would make no sense; it would be a prophecy without the dignity of prophecy - Amos 3: 7
And besides, things "do not fall from above", we will not be stopped by an angel who will tell us what will happen if what happens is already written in the Bible.
Jehovah has already revealed His purpose; we must study the Word of God, in the likeness of the prophet Daniel, if we at least hope to understand something.
Having established this we try to make a series of hypotheses on what Satan could actually invent to mislead God's people.
In a previous article we discussed chapters 7 and 8 of Daniel and we saw how one might come to think that these are two completely different subjects, times and prophecies (the article is titled "Four armageddon or one only?").
To complicate the understanding of the prophecy we have thought "the secular history" because if we read the events related to Antiochus IV Epiphanes many details emerge that could make us think that the description made by Daniel applies to him and his period of action.
In this way even a good part of chapter 11 would be fulfilled with the Maccabees, "the people who know their God" and so on.
We know that these arguments are forced and absolutely false and we can say this in the light of the Scriptures that clearly identify the Prince of the army, also known as Prince of the Princes, as the one to whom sacrifices were made and made - Compare Daniel 8:25 with Daniel 8:11
There are also other reasons that lead us to reject in the strongest terms Judah Maccabee and Antiochus IV Epiphanes, as many details of the prophecy that would fall simply into thin air, but including those who had turned the sacrifices should be more than enough for a careful scholar of the Bible.
The question we should ask ourselves, however, is quite different.
Why have so many similar things happened in the past that have led many sincere Jews to believe that Daniel's words applied to them in the past?
Obviously we can not know if Satan was behind all this but we can not even exclude it.
Recall that Satan has existed for thousands of years so he can afford to make long-term plans.
The repercussions of this understanding come to us because they influence the time in which we are living and that we risk not recognizing.
Let's see if there is a prior or are simply outlandish hypothesis.
These articles have re-discussed, among others, the understanding related to 1914 and to do so we simply used the Scripture (one of these posts is titled "Chronology, interpretation, speculation").
Many sites and blogs, also of a polemical nature, have re-discussed 1914 as the date when Christ would have been crowned as King, but in general the arguments relate to secular dates, historical relics, etc.
These sites have emphasized that the date of departure from which to count these fateful "seven times" is wrong because it is not supported or just denied by history.
First of all, we must acknowledge that these discussions can have a certain value among historians, but between us, Christians, these things has a relative value.
To begin with, history is not an "exact science" as mathematics could be because it is based on findings that are often incomplete and to which we must also give an interpretation (just think of what the scholars say about the age of man) .
In fact, on the same "find" different scientists give different interpretations and it is certainly not the majority or the most "noble" to establish the truth.
For absurd, for how many tests can come to light proving that the date used as a starting point to calculate the seven times is wrong, the WTS could be right.
We can speak of a reasonable conclusion, of numerous proofs in favor of ... but not of certainty.
We take note of an inconvenient truth: we were not there.
We Christians, however, have something more than the historical findings or a team of scientists in tow: we have the Word of God.
So we can say that 1914 is wrong not because the date from which to start the calculation is wrong (which would simply move the question of twenty years or so) but because the Bible does not talk about that.
    Simple.
Having said this, however, here too we must take note that many things that have happened since 1914 onwards are very similar to the description that the Bible makes of the last days (meaning just the last few).
That year, the greatest war that humanity had known until then broke out - Matthew 24: 6
As a consequence of the war, hunger, disease and despair are spreading everywhere - Luke 9:11
Big bombs like the two atomic bombs, which were seen hundreds of kilometers away, are actually "scary visions from the sky and great signs".
Jehovah's Witnesses are being persecuted practically under all the Communist, Fascist and "democratic" regimes - Matthew 24: 9
Moral values suffer a sharp decline in all sectors of society - 2 Timothy 3: 1-5
Besides these things happens even more that almost "obliges" Christians to believe and to confirm 1914.
The League of Nations (1920) is born.
    Let's stop for a moment.
If the League of Nations is the scarlet savage beast described in Revelation, then there is very little to discuss.
Since in Revelation this beast falls into the abyss only one time and then ascend, there is no other possibility than to apply and start the prophecies of Revelation from 1914 or from a date close to 1914.
The book of Revelation is clear: the scarlet beast falls into the abyss and then goes up again. There are no other falls before its final destruction - see Revelation 17: 8
Let us imagine living in that period and let us honestly ask ourselves how many of us would not have believed we were living in the "last days" and to receive the reward shortly thereafter.
This experiment is born, a political-military agglomeration as never had been tried in the history and the brothers observe.
It really looks like the scarlet beast of Revelation!
If it is that, however ... it must fall into the abyss after a certain period.
Among other things, it is understood that the reason why this beast falls into the abyss is precisely the outbreak of war.
    What happens?
Less than two decades after war breaks out such an extensive and violent to pass the 1914 absolutely secondary.
And the League of Nations, because of its nature, can be said to fall ** (see footnote).
What should we deduce from these reflections?
All these events do not seem a bit 'too much to be pointed to the case?
There are many, too many elements and they all seem to fit together.
    What to say, then?
Are we still convinced that the 1914 date is wrong?
The only way to understand it is by studying the Word of God with dedication and without preconceptions.
By studying the Bible it is understood that if it is true that many things seemed to fit together, it is equally true that many others did not.
At the time of the resurrection of the scarlet colored beast there had to be only one dominant power (compare Revelation 13: 3, 4, Daniel 11:39, 40, 45) but after the Second World War there were still so many powers.
When would there have been this proclamation or a hint of "peace and security" if the cold war began immediately afterwards?
These and other details should have made the brothers of the time reflect that "something did not return" but, as mentioned, considering such remarkable events and apparently in harmony with the Scriptures, we would probably have fallen for all.
It is not difficult to imagine who has been behind all this or we can not exclude it.
If all these events have not been random, our ability to reason allows us to hypothesize what could happen in the near future.
In the article dedicated to the trumpets of Revelation (it is called "Jehovah's Wounds Against False Prophets and Trouble for the Earth") we have seen that Jehovah's judgment will be directed principally against His own people but could also include exponents and organizations of Christendom .
    We pay attention to this.
Can Satan use this situation to implement his umpteenth "unjust deception"?
Absolutely, because this fits perfectly with the "style" of its past deceptions - compare 1 Corinthians 15:12
Let's think for a moment: what is the event that the vast majority of us are waiting with trepidation?
The destruction of "Babylon the Great" is not it?
For "Babylon the Great", obviously, the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses mean the worldwide empire of false religion.
Imagine that the United Nations (or the king of the north or Islamic extremists or anyone else) now initiates a targeted persecution of all religions by blowing up many famous places of worship *** (see footnote) ).
What would the majority of us think?
It's obvious. The great tribulation has begun!
We must not even make a big effort of imagination because this is exactly what happened during the first and then the Second World War.
The brothers imagined that these wars would "culminate" in Armageddon.
We pay close attention and try to understand the profound reasons why we believe in what we believe in - 2 Corinthians 13: 5; 1 Thessalonians 5:21
Let us not be caught up in events.
The war that is about to break out (because it is about to break out) will not lead to Armageddon and any generalized persecution of religions will have nothing to do with Babylon the Great.
Let us also ask ourselves this question: if we can not re-discuss the identity of Babylon the Great now, will we succeed in doing so when the scriptures seem to fulfill according to our preconceptions? - Jeremiah 23: 21-23
Let's make sure, then, of what we believe in because understanding prophecy is not a secondary question, it is of our life exactly as it was of the life of the first Christians.
Satan is certainly able to turn us around like socks and turn around as and when he wants but we have the Bible and the help of Jehovah himself - Proverbs 18:10
Let us not allow our emotionality or our desires to have the upper hand over our faculties of reasoning.
We must study the Bible! - compare Matthew 4: 5-7
The only possibility that Satan can use such a method to continue to mislead the majority of us should put us at attention and make us feel a serious responsibility.
All those, many or few, who have conscientiously shared the articles of "attentioelaprofezia", that is to say those who have passed the articles to the scrutiny of Scripture and have found them in harmony with it, have a moral obligation to make the possible to warn their brothers about what is going to happen and about what could happen.
What happened in the first and second world war can constitute a precedent to help each of us to be prepared and ready - Ephesians 6: 14-18; 2 Kings 6:16, 17

    Footnotes.
    * Some, to show that the posthumous understanding of the prophecies is a scriptural evidence, point to the event that occurred to the early Christians at the time when the Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem.
Since they could not understand how to "escape the mountains", they reason, the prophecy must be understood only after its fulfillment.
Things are not like that and we see why.
When we talk about "understanding the prophecies" it is obvious that we refer to those prophecies written in signs.
Otherwise there would be nothing to understand, but only to obey.
It is evident that the Bible contains many prophecies (ie descriptions of future events) that were not written in signs.
When Jonah preaches to the ninevites saying that their city would be destroyed he mentions a prophecy.
If the ninevites had not repented, Jehovah's words spoken through Jonah would simply be fulfilled. The ninevites did not have to make any effort to understand those words. They did not have to study or meditate to understand. They simply had to take the warning to heart his words and, in fact, repent.

In the same way, the warning that Jesus gave his disciples were clear and strong instructions: “However, when you see Jerusalem surrounded by encamped armies,+ then know that the desolating of her has drawn near.+ 21  Then let those in Ju·deʹa begin fleeing to the mountains,+ let those in the midst of her leave, and let those in the countryside not enter into her" – Luke 21:20, 21
This is the prophecy and they understood it well.
The fact that, when it began to come true, Christians found themselves imprisoned and so they obviously asked "how they would have escaped to the mountains", this has nothing to do with understanding it.
Jehovah made sure that the armies withdrew, thus creating the opportunity for true Christians to escape.
On the contrary this prophecy should make us reflect on our commonplaces.
We hypothesize that the Lord's words had not been so clear, if he had actually used a symbolic language for which they would have to study and commit themselves to understand His words.
We also imagine that they were called "understand his words only after their fulfillment" what would have happened?
The answer is obvious: everyone would have died.

** Although we use to say that the League of Nations fell at the outbreak of the second war this is to be considered true only on the basis of the stated objectives.
If the League of Nations was born to prevent war, it is clear that failing to prevent the Axis powers' aggression this proved all its limitations and for this reason we can say that it "fell".
However, it did not fall literally because it was only dissolved in April 1946 and that is, it continued to exist until the end of the war.
Then League of Nations and United Nations (the latter established in October 1945) coexisted for almost six months and in fact it was decided to continue the activity of the League of Nations parallel to that of the United Nations, a project that obviously failed.
Moreover, the League of Nations was more sanctionary and political, but it did not have armies, and this too could have made one think that it could not have been the scarlet beast of Revelation.

*** Since we know that Satan is about to give life to the false prophet, or an evolution of the man of illegality, he may not have any interest in keeping old religions and old places of worship alive.
Let us not be amazed, then, if the world events should resemble those described by the scarlet-colored wild beast as it shatters, devours and burns completely in the fire.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from James Thomas Rook Jr. in Which nations disappear in Armageddon?
    Dear DeeDee,
I thank you, of course, for your concern and your advice.
Meanwhile, I want to tell you that I'm not a young man.
I am not less than 35 years old.
I have been baptized for 27 years (so, as you can imagine, I did not get baptized at age 8).
I did not want to answer the question "if I was under 35" because this question distracts from the content of the articles.
I want the attention to be placed on the contents and on the Scriptures of the articles and not on the person who writes.
If all the talk is put on "You are young, you are inexperienced", then you lose the importance of the topic.
However, that I have 20 years or 50 or 99 concepts do not change.
My words do not become "right" or more "wrong" according to my age.
The only thing we need to understand is whether they are in harmony with the Bible or not.
The Bible was written for young people and also for older people.
You have made a correct quotation: we must love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
But I would like to ask you a question: where do we learn about the personality of God?
Through what we learn to know God better?
Through what do we learn about God's way of thinking and acting?
We learn all this through the Bible, it's true?
I want to ask you another question.
Can we honestly say that we love God if we do not love His Word?
Is not this concept the same reproach we make to the people of the world?
In field service we often meet devoted people who say they love God.
    It's not true?
What objection do we make to these people?
"Whoever loves God, strives to know him better".
Or "He who loves God manages to overcome his own traditions and convictions if they are not in harmony with the Word of God".
We must also make an honest critique and ask ourselves if we ourselves, ourselves, have not become the victim of a tradition or of prejudice - compare Romans 2:21, 22; 2 Corinthians 13: 5
Finally the scriptures you mentioned I could mention them too, is not it?
I have full confidence in Jehovah.
If I relied on my intelligence, then I would not consult the Bible.
If I relied on my intelligence I would not look for answers in the Bible, do you think?
I would simply do what I want, without doing research in the Bible, without meditating, without praying.
Does it seem to you that what I have written up to now has not referred to the Bible?
Of course I can be wrong, like all human beings.
However, I invite you to reflect that you have not read the article I posted to you (the one titled "Death really cancels sin").
Or maybe you read it but you did not mention a single writing, just one application. You have not contested any part of the article in merit.
I would have been happy that you had answered the question: "When Paul says that we are dead with Christ, does he mean it literally? Or when he says that "we were buried with Christ "does he mean it literally?"
Or I would have liked you to have answered the question: "Is it the death that erases the sins or the sacrifice of Christ?"
Do you know why this happened?
is it possible (only possible) that you focused on the fact that I was "under 35" and so I needed advice?
Obviously even a 90-year-old can need advice. We are all imperfect and limited.
However the only really important thing is that every "thesis" is supported by the Scriptures.
If what I wrote is wrong, the right thing to do would help each other to understand what the Word of God really teaches.
I am ready to review and retract everything.
Are you really willing to do it anyway?
Or the fear of discovering that something that has been taught to us is wrong prevents us from getting closer to the Word of God (and therefore to God)?
is it possible (only possible) that we love our tranquility more?
Yet we should be happy if Jehovah, in his undeserved kindness, will allow us to understand more.
Even though I'm over 35, I do not scold anyone.
I invite only to reflect on the example of the Israelites of the past.
As you know, at a certain point, they stopped ascertaining the will of God.
They had the temple, the priests. They were unquestionably the People of God.
Was this sufficient to avoid discipline?
"Be sure of everything" is not bad advice, is not it?
"Keep on trying if you are in the faith and what you yourselves are".
Those who love God with all their heart, mind and strength, seek Him in His Word and are not afraid to clash with the judgment of the majority.
And those who want to live in holy devotion will also be persecuted.
I wish you with all my heart that you can have the humility to question yourself regardless of who tells you it is 20 or 99 years old.
Regardless of who tells you it is "an overseer" or the smallest and most insignificant among the brothers - Matthew 11:25, 26

    Dear TrueTomHarley,
have you gone from criticizing my posts to get to give me advice on how to "put me better" in front of others?
Well, I thank you for this and I will take your advice to heart.
In the next article I will write I will only ask a series of questions. Can I count on your Scriptural answers?
I do not find myself indispensable and if I "end up under a truck", I am sure that other people (before me or after me, and perhaps better than me) would raise the same issues, the same "problems".
This is one more reason to focus on the contents of a speech and not on the person.
I agree with you that the most important thing is to be focused on the example of Christ. This is undoubtedly the most important and perhaps the most difficult thing to achieve.
I must point out that one aspect of Christ's personality (among many other aspects) was love for the Word of God.
I do not think I have "arrived" or even a "right" person.
I have so many things that I must improve and what I have understood (if I have understood it) is thanks exclusively to the undeserved kindness of God.
Also for this reason I feel like my duty to speak to my brothers, despite the difficulties and criticisms, of these things.
I believe that it is very important.
I thank you for the Scriptural examples you mentioned and I thank you sincerely for the concern you show towards me.
I assure you that I take great care not to become a victim of my own speeches.
    I question myself very often.
Simply, my love for the Word of God urges me to look for answers in the Bible, only in the Bible.
If I am convinced through the Scriptures that certain of my conclusions are wrong, I assure you that I change immediately and even everything.
I have no interest, no one, to make me followers.
If you have an important message to give to people, you try to do it, is not it?
You try to give this message even if you know it will be "hard to accept" is not it?
I assure you that I would have spared many "headaches" if I had avoided writing certain things.
it is much easier to "keep quiet" than to start certain conversations.
So I thank you very much for your advice on how to start a conversation.
I will take these advice to heart but I will continue to talk about the things I have understood because this is true respect for the Word of God.
And indeed I encourage all those who read this message to participate in the conversation not "to cheer a team" nor starting from the principle to establish "who is right" but only with the aim of better understanding some prophecies of the Word of God.
And, be it clear, this also includes the possibility of having to accept (only the possibility) some truths that are very different from those that have been taught to us.
To accept, one must be mature.
Thanks again, TrueTomHarley, and so I hope I can start a frank and respectful conversation only with the Word of God.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from John Houston in Which nations disappear in Armageddon?

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from ComfortMyPeople in Which nations disappear in Armageddon?
    Dear TrueTomHarley,
I focus on the most important words you wrote.
My criticism of the "governing body" has nothing to do with "lack of respect" or "denigration".
I do not understand why you have to confuse a (even strong) criticism with the lack of respect.
What we can not understand is that we have two different concepts of respect.
Always saying "yes, you're right" is a form of respect? Really?
Or is it a form of formal worship?
I have respect for those who have a great responsibility, but this does not mean that they have to recognize everything they say or do.
Finally it is a question of balance.
I try to explain the point.
In my study of the Bible I come to understand some things (maybe it's right, maybe it's wrong but in honest conscience).
As long as the interpretations of the governing body are secondary, I can also "make ends of nothing".
When some interpretations in my opinion (perhaps wrong) are not in harmony with the Scripture, what should I do?
According to you I should "shut up" because "they deserve respect".
My total and unconditional respect is addressed to the Word of God. it's clear?
This means that if a teaching goes against the Word of God (even if done in good faith) I give precedence to the Word of God.
I have dedicated myself to Jehovah, do you understand?
I have not dedicated myself to the "faithful and discreet slave", not to "jw.org" not to "warwick" or anyone else.
I have learned from the Bible that you must study personally and accurately, and you must draw your conclusions once you have meditated and prayed.
My conclusions (right or wrong) are that many brothers have become "idolaters" because they have elevated "commands of men" over the same Bible!
The things you wrote are true only in a small part.
I did not look for a probable idolatry and then find it in the Scriptures.
    the opposite has happened.
To see that many brothers take a picture with the character of the governing body, or that they buy the medallion with the inscription "YHWH", or that they buy flags or t-shirts with the inscription "jw.org" it makes me sick (it's true ) but it does not make me stumble.
Do you know why I do not stumble over these things?
Because I had read in the Bible that this would happen.
    I speak of biblical understanding.
mine is not "a protest" or a revolution.
Mine is exclusively a biblical research and my attempt is to bring attention to the Bible.
Also I would like to point out something.
speaking with DeeDee I wrote clearly (it's just an example) that the apostle Paul identifies the trumpet related to the spiritual resurrection as "the last trumpet".
I would be happy to have a conversation, without preconceptions, to understand if Revelation is written chronologically or not.
I have published many articles on this blog.
Has there ever been a constructive conversation?
Have we ever entered the subject in an attempt to understand what the Bible says?
Or have our "conversations" stopped at "you are not the faithful and discreet slave" or "are you an apostate" or "you can not have the biblical understanding" and similar things?
    Who is the idolater?
Every day we are encouraged to "study the Bible" but what does this mean in your opinion?
Does it mean "study the Bible only if your conclusions are in harmony with the Governing Body"?
My personal experience counts for nothing and it is not because of my personal experience that I started making these articles.
On the contrary: these are my research without preconceptions, in the light of the Scriptures.
I consider the Bible the only authority and so you too.
However, there are other "authorities" that prevent you from carefully examining the Scriptures.
There are the "masters of the Law" who claim to be the only ones to understand it.
There are those who say "Yes is right" or "No, it's wrong".
Do you really believe that these articles of mine are "born" from the fact that I saw hypocrisy and idolatry in some brother?
    Absolutely not.
Do you believe that I have "mounted my head"?
Absolutely not. Interpretations belong to Jehovah.
I do this because it is a responsibility.
Then, of course, you can believe what you want.
Some people (but I would dare to say "many") consider the guide (which is only a middle) as the ultimate end of worship.
The copper serpent was a loving provision by Jehovah that the people would not die but after a few years became an idol.
You are really sure that the medium that would lead us into the "promised land", did not become an idol?
You are free to think about what you want but when we turn off our faculties of perception and consider the words of men equal or superior to the Bible, this is idolatry.
Jesus, who was the most knowledgeable person ever existed, said many times "is written".
You say, practically always, "The faithful and discreet slave says" even if what he says strides with the Word of God.
    Everyone makes their own assessments.
I am nobody and I can not judge anyone.
Jehovah is the just judge, only him.
If you are convinced of "studying the Bible without preconceptions", agree.
The right thing to do would be to help each other but this is not possible because every "criticism" is seen as "lack of respect".

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Anna in Which nations disappear in Armageddon?
Thank you, DeeDee, for your kind and peaceful response.
In this way we should discuss the Word of God even if we did not agree on the interpretation.
I fully agree with you on some things.
Jehovah's wonderful message does not change and He wants none of us to be destroyed.
The good news of the Kingdom can be preached without having to "clash" on certain understandings.
However, I am deeply convinced that each of us personally has to make a careful study of the Word of God and this also includes an understanding of the prophecies - Proverbs 2: 1-5
Prophecy is not a secondary thing and should not be underestimated - 1 Thessalonians 5:20, 21
The Bible encourages us to make sure of everything and this responsibility does not have only the "faithful and discreet slave" but each one of us.
Moreover I would like to remember (and I do not want to make controversy) that the "slave" will be declared "faithful and discreet" only at the beginning of Armageddon (not before).
In this regard you can find the explanation in the Watchtower of July 15, 2013 (the first study article entitled "Tell us: when do these things happen?").
With this I do not want to say that what the governing body teaches "is all wrong". I have respect for those who have this important responsibility.
So this means that today there are sincere people who try to understand the Bible, but there is still no "faithful and discreet slave".
Surely this understanding will again be "modified" because it is too uncomfortable for some but it does not matter.
The Bible is clear in this regard: each of us must study carefully and meditate on the word of God.
This includes the fact that if you come to understand some things that are different from the official understanding, you must talk about it with respect.
This is what I'm trying to do.
Of course I can be wrong, like everyone else, so it is appropriate to have an open conversation in the light of the Scriptures without having preconceptions.
This does not mean "to stumble" someone because those who truly love God and His Word do not stumble - Psalm 119: 165
I am not saying that the Bible is not the Word of God, is not it?
I am not saying that Christ is not the Son of God.
I am not bringing another teaching.
These things could "stumble" but I have the utmost respect for the Word of God.
I have not dedicated myself to the "faithful and discreet slave" or even to a human organization.
I dedicated myself to Jehovah and the words of Jehovah are found exclusively in the Bible.
Those who love God try to understand His Will through His Word and do not remain waiting for "others" to do research in his place or to tell him what to believe and what not to believe.
So, concluding the speech, even if I partly share what you write about the hope and the good news of the Kingdom, if Revelation was written in chronological order, the question is not "secondary" at all.
This means that the times of fulfillment of certain prophecies are wrong (even some dates that we consider very important) and also certain subjects are completely different.
The most important thing, this would mean that our expectations for the future are not in harmony with the Word of God.
It also means that some prophecies could be fulfilled right now and we, focused on other things, do not realize it.
the prophecy "shines in a dark place" but have we really lent "more than the usual attention"? - 2 Peter 1:19, 20; Hebrews 2: 1
Or are we living on rent waiting for someone else to tell us what to believe and what to do?
Jehovah will judge us personally and not as a people.
I wish you to personally ascertain these things without "cheering for a team" because, as you can see, it is not very easy to talk about the Bible with the brothers.
The near future may be different from what we imagined.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Raquel Segovia in ¿Quién posee la verdad?
O no?

- I Corintios 9: 6-8; 10:18 - Gálatas 4: 26-29

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Matthew9969 in In an attack on Israel coming?
Thanks to the coherence of the Word of God we have arrived at an unprecedented understanding of the Holy Writings.
This understanding, far from complete but constantly growing, would not have flowed freely if we had not approached it with the utmost care of mind and without prejudice - compare Acts 17:11
One of the fundamental concepts that would have prevented the understanding of many things is that related to the identity of modern Israel.
Even today this subject confuses and makes it impossible to understand the Bible to the vast majority of religions as well as to individual scholars.

Is an attack on Israel coming?   In this regard, Charles Taze Russell spoke several times to a large audience of Jews in New York and also in Europe on the theme "Zionism in Prophecy" and in 1925 published the book entitled "Comfort for the Jews".
In time, however, it was clear to some that "something was wrong" in part because the Bible very clearly predicted that this return home would bring blessings to humanity and also because it was strange that God Almighty used the empire Anglo-American and United Nations to restore His people on earth.  It is true that in the past a similar thing happened, but the Jewish people of that time did everything to restore pure worship, something that certainly can not be said of the current Jewish people.
And there would be so many other things to be said that would severely outweigh the biblical prophecy indicated.
In light of world events, some have revised this interpretation but for many that remains a biblical prophecy fulfilled.
So two distinct groups were created: those that no longer give any importance to Jerusalem and those who say that God's people are in present-day in Jerusalem.
Through the study of the Word of God and His undeserved kindness we have understood that both positions are wrong.
Both positions will prevent any deep understanding of the Word.
What happened in 1948 is indeed a biblical prophecy only that it is not what most religions have imagined - Daniel 4: 20-25 Jerusalem, and Israel as a consequence, still has a great importance in the Word of God (it has never ceased to have it) only that the present one today is not the one that would have brought blessings to humanity but a mystification, a deception.
A deception in which we all fell.
All who are convinced that Jerusalem no longer has any importance in biblical prophecy are invited to reflect on scriptures such as Nehemiah 1: 9, Isaiah 34:17; 60:15, Joel 3:20 or Luke 21:24 Obviously it will become difficult to understand such direct and clear scriptures if every time we read "Jerusalem" we use that filter known as "symbolic meaning" or "spiritual sense".
So also the return of the people of God to their homeland is to be understood in a literal sense, and Russell was right in this, only that this did not happen in 1948.
In its place appeared a sordid prostitute who, far from being the legitimate bride as she herself asserts, has seduced the peoples with her influence and has initiated a series of events that have caused (and will cause) death , pain and despair - compare Revelation 18:24 From the comparison of the biblical books of Daniel and Revelation we understand that a world war is coming, that is, that which will end the king of the south. This is a prophecy to come and not something that concerned 1914 or so.
We understand that "behind the scenes" of this war, there will be this prostitute. Although Jehovah allow this war, as it happened in the past, even to discipline His people, He will not leave unpunished this prostitute.
We know that it will be definitively destroyed at Har-maghedon (not at the beginning of the great tribulation) and therefore "we will have to keep it" until the end of the satanic system. Its complete destruction is near but not so close. From now until the last moment any sincere person who truly wants to know God Almighty and do His will has the opportunity to take the necessary steps. Every single inhabitant of Israel may decide to ask Jehovah for forgiveness and save himself from the destruction that will inevitably fall upon the nation.
The biblical prophecy makes us understand that before its definitive destruction, the king of the north will turn his attention to it - Daniel 11:30 This "attention" does not seem to have anything positive because the same writing speaks of "complaints". In harmony with this we have seen, comparing with Revelation, that the fifth trumpet that torments "those men who do not have the seal of God on the forehead" is most likely aimed precisely at the old people of God.
Since the fifth trumpet is concomitant with the first trouble it is possible to hypothesize that this torment will be particularly painful.
It is certainly not a coincidence that shortly thereafter (exactly five months later) this situation leads to a much wider and bloody war - Revelation 9: 13-20 ". As said, it is because of this prostitute that the great war will break out.
Even the study of Jeremiah, a book we are investigating in recent days, has reinforced this vision.
We do not have a precise date but from these Scriptural reflections we understand that an attack on Israel is coming and so we are right to pay due attention.
Let us prepare ourselves mentally because the Word of God can not fail.
Although this will not yet affect its ultimate destruction, it seems clear that such an attack will be there.
It does not matter if many laugh or take this interpretation lightly; we have a chance to ascertain these things - 1 Thessalonians 5:21     * If someone has shared, even in part, this information, he is invited to warn people of what is going to happen.
Above all those who have acquaintances or friends in that nation are invited to act according to their conscience.
** Since Revelation speaks of "torment" and not of death it is possible that this attack concerns a series of burning complaints (compare Daniel 11:30) from the king of the north and not a military attack. Most of the political intrasaces of this nation, which include lies, murders and abuses perpetrated against other peoples, could come to light.
This would cause an atrocious pain to all those who, until the last moment, wanted to maintain an aura of holiness and justice and pass for victims of the world.  ***Spiritual drunks who have the privilege of carrying the name of Jehovah are invited to observe the next world events.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Raquel Segovia in La condena de la mujer llamada Maldad
Bien, vamos a leer ...
    ¿Recuerdas a alguien?

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Dianaa Soibam in 607 B.C.E. - Is it Biblically Supported?
I did not follow the conversation from the beginning so I'm not sure of the purpose of this discussion.
From personal experience I know that this date is often mentioned to corroborate or invalidate an alleged calculation of the "seven times" of Nebuchadnezzar's dream. If this is the final purpose of this discussion, then I believe that there are much more important questions.
If the purpose of this discussion is a "historical curiosity", then it is interesting.
If I were a historian, then it would be very important to understand how and where to place the events; study the evidence in favor and the contrary evidence.
As for our beliefs, however, I believe that a Christian should ask himself a more profound and important question.
The Bible book of Daniel, when it spoke of the seven times, refers to the establishment of God's Kingdom?
The question is very simple: what is the use of making a thousand discussions on a historical date if the object of the question is another?
If Daniel chapter 4 is not talking about the establishment of the Kingdom of God but of something else, is it really important to find out an exact date for a wrong event?
Twenty years more or less really do a difference if the interpretation of final event is wrong?
    Good reflections to everyone

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from DespicableME in Chronology, interpretation, speculation
The chronology, interpretation, speculation   CAUTION The following discussion make reference to one of the "cornerstones" of the understanding of the "faithful and discreet slave". Since the author is not going to create a stumbling block for anyone, let alone create divisions, the reader is invited to consider carefully whether you want to read on. Continue or not to continue, therefore, it will only be a personal decision. An even better thing that we could do all: open the Bible and compare all the scriptures quoted or cited and evaluate, in conscience, whether its topics are logical and consistent with the Word of God         All you have read about the prophecy of the "seventy weeks" reported in the book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy!" (Chapter 11) is worthy of attention and shows how the word of God is accurate and reliable even when ruling prophecies very distant in time. And 'historical accuracy was also evident and numerous scriptural references that gave weight and credibility to the whole matter. Anyone who approaches the Word of God without preconceptions can not help but be impressed by this demonstration of the power and wisdom from God. The explanation of the 70 weeks is beyond reproach, but can the same be said of other prophecies? What about those calculations on which many of us have based their hopes of a lifetime and who clashed with criticism of the majority? We are talking of 1914. This is also a prophecy of Daniel? This too was treated with the same wonderful accuracy of the seventy weeks we just read? Although it may not be easy, we try to be very objective because they understand or not understand the prophecy, like the rest of God's Word, can make a big difference for our eternal future - John 17: 3; 2 Thessalonians 1: 8   SAY THAT OF 1914?   The book "pay attention to the prophecies of Daniel" on pages 85 to 97 (italian edition) explains in detail the dream of Nebuchadnezzar and the prophecy of the seven times asserting it indicates the coming of God's Kingdom in 1914.
It would be profitable, therefore, take the book and compare with what you will read below.
The dream of Nebuchadnezzar actually prophesies the coming of God's Kingdom in 1914?   THAT'S IT'? Let's examine what is written in the book without bias. At first glance it seems that Jehovah God has wanted to give a lesson in humility to Nebuchadnezzar, which he did. The "seven times", at least for him, was seven years and this is confirmed by the whole story. Reading all this without bias, it does not seem that we have to look for other explanations more or less hidden. But let's take this argument that "the tree indicates a domain and a much more sovereign than the king of Babylon. It symbolizes the universal sovereignty of Jehovah, the King of heaven, especially with respect to the earth. " This means, first, that the Kingdom of God you are comparing, in a way, to the kingdom of Babylon and this contrasts with many biblical passages that describe Babylon as the greatest enemy of God's people. It also means that the "vigilante" (that is, an angel of the Lord) decides to overthrow the Kingdom of God and this is, to say the least, strange. Some will object that we should not look for similarities in every aspect of the prophecy but also to decide which part of the prophecy must have a second commitment and which not could be quite arbitrary. Basically we have no other scriptures that indicate there on what particular focus and which leave out. So you're saying that the tree prophecy applies entirely to Nebuchadnezzar, while only a small part would apply to the Kingdom of God. For the prophecy of the "seventy weeks," we did not need to break up the prophecy to try to understand who is applied or if they apply to more than one person because the subject was clear and very beginning. The whole prophecy of 7 times, however, is built on a single verse that is what it says ... " The tree grew and became strong, and its height it finally reached the heavens and was visible to the extremity of ' whole earth " (Daniel 4:11) The mentioned book says: "the big tree is the 'domain that reaches the ends of the earth', which embraces the whole kingdom of mankind. Therefore symbolizes Jehovah's universal sovereignty, particularly in relation to the earth. - Daniel 4:17. " There is a bit fragile, say risky, build a series of prophecies (all linked together) of this single explanation? Note that the specification "particularly in relation to the earth" is due to the fact that Jehovah's universal sovereignty is, in fact, universal, so the tree would have seen not only in all the earth but in the whole universe. By specifying, however, "in relation to the earth," we can rule the skies by the vision and take in the good application. However, we should ask ourselves a question. The fact that the tree reaches the heavens or the ends of the earth is a demonstration or even an indication that we are talking about God's Kingdom? We always leave it to the Bible to enlighten us. We notice what Jehovah said to Ezekiel in reference to Pharaoh. Ezekiel 31: 1-8 says ... "It occurred even in the eleventh year, in the third [month], the first [day] of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying:" Son of man, of 'Pharaoh king of Egypt and his crowd: " ' To look like in your greatness? Here, an Assyrian, a cedar of Lebanon, with beautiful branches, with thick shady ramifications, and a high height, so that its top was among the clouds. The waters made it grow; for the deep made him become high. With their current they went all around his plants; and sent their channels to all the trees of the field. So there was higher in height than all the [other] trees of the field. " ' And its boughs were multiplied, and its branches continued getting longer because of much water in its watercourses. Sui its branches made their nests all the flying creatures of the heavens, and under its twigs bore all the wild beasts of the field, and in its shadow dwelt all populous nations. It became beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its foliage, for its root system was on many waters. [Other] cedars not equalize in the garden of God. As for juniper trees, they had no resemblance to its branches. And the plane trees were not the same like the twigs. No [other] tree of God like him in beauty garden. " We note some similarities with the vision of Nebuchadnezzar? Both are compared to high and mighty trees. Both reach heights up to heaven in fact the expressions "reach the heavens" or "reach the clouds" are equivalent - Compare Job 22:14; Isaiah 14:14; Daniel 7:13 Of both of you notice the big difference with other trees. In both it is said that all the flying creatures and all the wild animals find food and shelter. Now, if we apply the principle that the tree that "reaches the clouds" must represent the Kingdom of God, then even the Egyptian empire should be an antitype of the Kingdom. Unfortunately, this story does not make any mention of "time" and therefore can not count anything. If you think it's ridiculous to think that the Egyptian empire will represent the Kingdom of God, why should it be acceptable to the Babylonian empire?   Jehovah goes on to say "For the reason that you became high height, so that it put its top even among the clouds, and his heart is exalted because of its height, I will give it into the hand of a despot of the nations" - Ezekiel 31:10, 11 The Pharaoh exalted, just as He did Nebuchadnezzar, and for this reason God decided to humiliate him - Matthew 23:12 Nebuchadnezzar escaped with seven years of madness while the Pharaoh's empire was besieged. This verse also emphasizes the fact that God takes away and "the kingdom to those who want" (and in this case he gave the kingdom to Pharaoh "despot of the nations"). Ezekiel 31: 12-14 continues ... "And strangers, the tyrants of the nations, cut it, and the people will abandon the mountains; and its foliage will certainly fall in every valley, and his branches will break between all the beds of the rivers of the earth. And all the peoples of the earth will come down from its shade and abandon. On its fallen trunk reside all the flying creatures of heaven, and its branches will certainly be all the wild beasts of the field; so that none of the watered trees may become high in height, or put her top even among the clouds, and because no drinking water is standing against them in his height, certainly as will all the data to death, to the earth below, in among the children of mankind, those who go down into the pit. ' " Although this tree is cut down and humiliated (Jehovah will do this through the king of Babylon). Because of the many similarities to the kingdom of Egypt, are we really sure that the tree "reached the heavens" refers to God's Kingdom?
When we have to discuss  the 1914, we really like the Bereans? Or are we "Berean" only when we must refute the doctrines of Christianity?   There is another interesting detail which should give us pause. The Bible compares heaven to governments, be they human or celestial. Applying this concept to the tree that reaches the heavens and where other trees can not compete with it, would simply mean that this tree has a kingdom over other kingdoms (smaller) and Babylon the Great is said, in fact, who " a kingdom over the kings of the earth "- Revelation 17:18 The only legitimate parallel that you can do with Babylon, without fear of taking corners, is related to Babylon the Great because it is the parallelism that makes the Bible. In fact all the world empires mentioned in the Scriptures have had, for a time, a kingdom over other kingdoms. Cyrus claimed that he himself ... " I am Cyrus, king of the world, great king, legitimate king, king of Babylon, king of Sumer and Akkad, king of the four end (of the earth), son of Cambyses ( Ka-am -bu-zi-ia ), great king, king of Anshan, grandson of Cyrus . . . descendant of Teispe,. . . of a family (which) has always reigned. " ( Ancient Near Eastern Texts, edited by J. Pritchard, 1974, p. 316) Surely humility was not a feature appreciated by the Persians as even by the Babylonians but in fact the kingdom had power over other known kingdoms ( much to be called " king of the four ends of the earth") and then you could well say that its height he had reached the heavens and was visible or known to the ends of the earth. In the story of Ezekiel and that of Daniel there is no reference, no one, to the Kingdom of God but ... both reports mention a judgment from God on enemy nations, proud and violent. Any chronological calculation should respect the subject and in fact this part of Scripture is quite different from what is said about the "seventy weeks" - Daniel 9: 24-27 In the account of Daniel chapter 9 clearly speaks of the Messiah (see Daniel 9:25) and do not need to read what is not written. Anyone wishing to be controversial might discuss the starting date from which to count the "weeks" or even the alleged method * (one day for a year) but it certainly can not discuss the subject in existence (the Messiah). It could, ironically, even argue about who really was the Messiah (something which still discussing the Jews) but of course you can not argue that Daniel chapter 9 speaks of the Messiah! Instead Daniel chapter 4 speaks of Nebuchadnezzar and his kingdom, while all "the intention" for the Kingdom of God is built on four lines in the book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy!" Read: "But the big tree is the domain that reaches the ends of the earth, which embraces the whole kingdom of mankind. Therefore symbolizes Jehovah's universal sovereignty, particularly in relation to the earth. - Daniel 4:17 "(Chapter 6, page 87 of the book Italian edition). It does not seem very strong statement with a very weak base? We try not to say to Daniel 4:17 that does not really say because you just know the basic rules of grammar not to distract from the subject. The subject is Nebuchadnezzar and God makes him understand that, due to the fact that he is exalted, would have removed the kingdom and would give it to whomever He had wanted (just as He did with Pharaoh). In practice, one who really governs is the Creator and the other kingdoms exist only because He allows it - Compare Romans 13: 1 So there is no reason to believe that the tree (that is, one of the many governments that Jehovah has allowed in the history of mankind), represents the Kingdom of God really is. If someone wants to suggest that the fact that God mentions His domain is indicative that the tree itself depicts your domain (and it's amazing stunt semantics) then we can take the story reported in 2 Kings 19: 14-19 and do the same reasoning. " Hezekiah then the letters from the hand of the messengers and read them, after which Hezekiah went up to the house of Jehovah and spread out before Jehovah. 15 And Hezekiah prayed before Jehovah and said: "O Jehovah, God of Israel, enthroned upon the cherubim, you alone are the [true] God of all the kingdoms of the earth . You yourself have made the heavens and the earth. 16 Incline your ear, O Jehovah, and hear. Open your eyes, O Jehovah, and see, and hear the words of Sennacherib which he has sent to blame the living God. 17 It is a fact, O Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their country. 18 And they delivered their gods to the fire, because they were not gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; so that they destroyed them. 19?And now, O Jehovah our God, save us, please, from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth know that you alone, O LORD, are God . " Hezekiah knows very well that Jehovah was "the true God of all the kingdoms of the earth" and prayed that Sennacherib were stopped in his attempt to destroy Jerusalem. We know very well what was the response of Isaiah that last part says ... "Why is your turn you against me and your roaring have come up to my ears. I certainly put my hook nose and my bridle between your lips, And actually I take you back to the way by which you came "- 2 Kings 19:28 If we did the same reasoning alleged to chapter 4 of Daniel, then we could assume that the "Sennacherib" kingdom was a antitype of God's kingdom because he also had to learn (at his expense) that Jehovah is "the true God of all the kingdoms of the earth "or, in other words" rules over all mankind. " Alas, in this story there are no numbers, days, weeks or months to be calculated and therefore no reason to read "coming of the kingdom of God" even where it makes no mention. It 'possible that the strong desire to see fulfilled the prophecies influenced the intentions and then had driven to read what was really written? This means that, if we really want to see a second commitment to the story reported in Daniel chapter 4, you should respect the subject into being , namely Babylon . It is likely that the story of Daniel is simply telling the humiliation of Nebuchadnezzar and that the "seven times" mean only seven years, but we can not be categorical. In this regard it is worth reflecting on the fact that even the humiliation of Pharaoh, reported in Ezekiel, could have a second commitment as Jehovah says it "will shake the nations" and this could be a reference to the war of Armageddon. So, without staring too much of a specified date , if the story of Daniel had wanted to show us a second fulfillment of the prophecy, the report is actually saying, "Babylon will fall, it will remain inactive for seven days and then rise again." This can only bring our minds to the last mention that the Bible makes of Babylon - Revelation 17: 5 The clues regarding Babylon the Great took us to the nation of Israel so the question you should ask is ... "Since that year we should start counting 2520 years (ie 360 * 7) until you see the revival (if any) of Babylon? " From the story of Daniel the possible dates from which to count the seven periods of time are two: 1) Since Nebuchadnezzar had the vision or has fallen into "disgrace" (in fact, Daniel says "the tree is you" - Daniel 4: 20-22) 2) From the death of Nebuchadnezzar (if Nebuchadnezzar represents the kingdom of Babylon, his death is the moment in which the tree is "knocked down" but it is noteworthy that there is no reference to this in Daniel's narrative which, indeed, he says that the kingdom would have been assured - Daniel 4:26)   As for the first hypothesis it is impossible to have an accurate date because neither the Bible nor secular history tell us in what year Nebuchadnezzar was driven from his kingdom. This happened, of course, after 597 BCE (the year in which Nebuchadnezzar brings the first Jews prisoners in Babylon in accordance with the secular dating; there is a 20-year difference with that of the slave that, in fact, puts the BCE 617) and within the 570 BCE (when Nebuchadnezzar died in 562 BCE - according to the secular date - and the period of "captivity" lasts seven years, and the kingdom he is returned are deemed to have reigned for at least a year, the 570 is the last year helpful). However, in the first four chapters of Daniel are mentioned Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, first as children (Daniel 1: 3, 4) and then as strong men (Daniel 3:12, 27) and all this before Nebuchadnezzar to buckle the famous dream tree . This means that, by their deportation until the day in which the king erected the golden image, they passed at least 15 , 20 years. So if the Jews have come to Babylon in 597 BCE, but spend 20 twenty years before the construction of the idol of gold and having good outlet to the secular date (562 BCE), you can restrict the period from 577 BCE to 570 BCE Obviously they are only estimates but the important date is the maximum time limit (570 BCE) so if from deportation until the construction of the image had been 15 years instead of 20, the start date would be 582 BCE, but the last date useful as possible would always be 570 BCE Any revival of Babylon, if this is talking about Daniel, which is far from certain, would take place between 1943 EV (2520-577) and 1950 EV (2520-570). To reinforce this hypothesis there would also be the fact that the story of his expulsion is the last tale told Nebuchadnezzar. A few verses later, in fact, we no longer speak of him but of Belshazzar (Daniel ch. 5). It's reasonable to conclude, therefore, that Nebuchadnezzar had a vision in recent years, perhaps during the last decade of his reign.   The second hypothesis concerns Nebuchadnezzar's death and which occurs, according to the secular sources, in 562 BCE According to the slave is the case in 582 BCE (see the book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy" chapter 7, page 99). Counting 2,520 years you get to 1958 EV in the first case and 1938 EV in the second case.   What about the recent history? If, as we have seen, Babylon the Great is the nation of Israel, this would indeed support the first hypothesis. The first hypothesis places the revival of Babylon between 1943 and 1950. The "resurrection" of Israel takes place, in fact, in May 1948. Knowing the fixation of human beings for dates and calculations, however, it is prudent to pay attention to more important things. The secular dates can not be safe, based on findings and comparisons more or less incomplete, and certainly we can not base our faith on this one - 2 Corinthians 5: 7 What would happen if the 597 BCE, as well as 607 or 537 or any other date on which we have based much of Bible prophecy (not that there was a real reason to do it) tomorrow will prove completely wrong? The consequences could be very serious and not only from a human point of view - Amos 3: 1, 2 We must not take for granted Jehovah's mercy we must be cautious in our statements. Since we have no certainty that the "seven times" does not depict just seven years, we should not get bogged down in these speculations. The most important thing is not perhaps understanding the identity of Babylon the Great? This is a crucial aspect of the prophecy because they are clues to guide us in the subjects and in the times we are living like road signs, and not the calculations - Compare Matthew 00:32, 33 and 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 and make a contrast with Matthew 24:36 There is no time stamp for the killing of two witnesses in sackcloth (see Revelation ch. 11), but we know that they are revealed at the end of the war. We know that the city called "Sodom and Egypt" is Babylon the Great, then Israel, and therefore we also know what country and what events to look carefully . What the Bible actually prophesies the year of his "resurrection" or not, it is certainly interesting but not essential for those who believe, it really is the inspired Word of God. Fundamental, if anything, will be "out of it" when the UN will prepare to destroy it.     * However, the Bible confirms the method "a day for a year" and also that this was the same method used by the people of God - Ezekiel 4: 6; Luke 3:15   For more information https://attenzioneallaprofezia.blogspot.it/
