@Moise Racette There are many eyes on the US Capitol in Washington DC. More so now with what is taking place in Atlanta, as well as the situation in Memphis concerning the tragic death of Tyre Nichols.

Excommunication is a form of ecclesiastical censure (Bible based) by which a person is excluded from the communion of believers, the rites or sacraments of a church, and the rights of church membership but not necessarily from membership in the church as such. Some method of exclusion belongs to the administration of all Christian churches and denominations, indeed of all religious communities. It isn't unlawful for a church to practice something which id affiliated with the church and it is a disciplinary action that can be used if necessary.

It is known the Jehovah's Witnesses practice this, but calls it Disfellowshiping, although the notion is the same. The argument of the owner of the video is that such a practice is isolated to JWs and alluded that it is an old world practice that is not suppose to be practiced at all.

The murder suicide was narrowed it down to a degree of a personal dispute as well as noted as a Homicide. When the story dropped, some former members, EXJWs, of the faith will automatically assume this was the faith community's doing, even going as far as to discredit the police report done by Thornton Police Department, which, when the report is read, the man [Enoch Apodaca, 46] was already a ticking time bomb, along side his wife [Melissa [Martinez] Apodaca, 44], for before he even got to the JW Church, he was doing nefarious things previously, the issue he had with his place of business resulting in an explosion after he exited with a bucket.
Once the explosion took place, Adam's County Fire Department as well as the Sheriffs responded and acted accordingly to such situations that took place, but Enoch had since left the scene, thankfully no one was hurt in the blast because the business was closed on Christmas Day. 9AM police ended up arriving to the situation at the JW Church, which was not too far from where the first incident took place. From what is reported, Enoch was instructing his wife to essentially break into the church via their truck, then you have explosives inside of the church itself after they essentially busted in. After the deed was done, Enoch shot his wife, execution style, then ended his own life; weapon of choice, The Shotgun.
Both use to be former members of the Church, but were excommunicated and it seems as though for a long time now. They ended up speaking to church elder but were instructed to speak to the elders of their original Church prior to this event. To be excommunicated they, Enoch specifically, was a very problematic. Enoch also had issues with his place of employment, thus having a personal vendetta.
Even before this situation, this guy was very crazy, perhaps reasons why JWs distanced themselves from him.
 
So the more anyone looks into this, the less it has to do with the JW church or it's members, but rather, the ordeal that many people had to deal with in 2020-2021, job wise, for people tend to go crazy and take it out on anything or anyone who are familiar with, be it person or group.
 
For some reason, Mark Jones (possibly someone in the police force) is being tossed into this, blamed by some, which makes no sense.

 
Lastly, the situation could have been far worse. Enoch did contact an elder of the church as mentioned, if he had been welcomed back, and there were other JWs present, and the latter had ill intent, there would have been more than 2 bodies that day, a lot of deceased members of the faith, luckily, as some assumed, but were mistaken, JWs don't celebrate Christmas and were not present that day, expect two guys inside the church, who were probably there for bible study or fixing the place up, one discovered the explosives device I believe.
That being said, those who don't seek truth in regards to events like this, are doing an ultimate disservice to the people. This goes for weaponizing the situation - you know who you are.

@Witness Unfortunately it will end up as the infamous 2017 event, and the attempt in 2018. In both instances, it equated to problems issues and opportunists to show up among the crowd and community disruption, the majority do not even know basic law, hence what is practiced within realm of religious freedom. No one is knocking the victims, but some see the writing on the wall with the last fiasco as is trying to spin the Ukraine situation and propaganda with JWs, it makes people who actually combat issues and problems look crazy. Then there is the specific place they had chosen is the very same place a few people including myself predicted what would happen in a large scale event on January 6th. That being said people who think otherwise, and there are examples of this (despite some try to erased such history).
Abuse or other notions can be fought without the need of being on a warpath, as is knowing laws, especially in what constitutes within religious freedom, practice and speech.
Ultimately when it does end up as 2017, it'll be a further breakdown of disgruntled EXJWs, and finally the non disgruntled ones could actually breath for once after being silenced by the same community.
Perhaps if they had played their cards properly and came to the middle without being one sided, they'd have a chance, but sadly, this never happened, and it is evident because even for the longest time such was never addressed here despite it being coined among the normal collective.
That being said, after many days away, found out that even some among your own community aren't so clean either, be it regarding women, as is with children, mainly in a time where the children are the prime targets.
But as I said before, if you actually adhere to solutions, you would be doing more for children, even in the face of some. I will not disclose where or whom, but there is indeed a community where there are EXJWs as well as JWs, in conjunction with others who do speak on the matter on a grounded level, and it is not one sided, you'd be surprised of what some EXJWs would say there vs here or reddit.
@Moise Racette Granted this is Invision, that is highly unlikely, compared to places like Twitter, Reddit, 4chan, Parler, Truth Social, etc. Anything Invision based is way below the food chain. All and all, there is another attempt to take a swing at the 1st Amendment however, as pervious attempts were made by the UN, and other affiliates. Outside of women and children, 2023 will be a tough year in regards to speak your peace, and in some cases, overtaken by falsehood and stories, forcing people to speak truth.

These people are primarily tied to some in the conservatives/liberal space residing in places like Silicon Valley, in addition to that, such folks are affiliated with churches of a specific kind such as The Church of Perpetual Life and The First Transhumanist Church, to name a few.

Not only they dabble in such ideas, but also ideas to seek immortality, man-made eternal life by ill means by the sweat and blood of the young. Outside of faith groups, some ultimately wish for an easier life with use of machines and A.I. such as DARPA dogs. The sad reality is some people will be caught up in all this, some events in the world today is already linking them to governments, where some of it's branches are also dwelling in this, why else they want you in an electric car and to get rid of your stove?

The shortest answer would be is no one here, JW or not, is leaning Left, or Right on the issue with Ukraine and Russia. I've yet to see a Left/Right leaning JW on this forum, even a while back. Moreover, no one here is Pro-Putin or Pro-Zelensky, and in regards to Putin, it wouldn't make sense for them to be Pro-Putin due to the events of 2016-2017, and the USSR if you go further back. If we have to delve into who has a political view, it should be noted that there were some, in the past, on this forum and elsewhere, who became Pro-Putin in support of the JW ban in Russia, not realizing the repercussions that came afterwards.
Granted, I dealt with people in the paradigm, including some rivals, I can see via discernment of who is who concerning the issue.
Bystander Effect is universal in all instances, regardless of view, faith, etc. It can be imposed on people even for the wrong reasons, likewise with the Ostrich Effect.
As for Bystander Effect, it can be utilized by Pro-Zelensky types on JWs, if left behind, to be forced to take a rifle and fight. Granted JWs are neutral, they will not fight therefore they reap consequence from the Ukrainians, as is be branded with the notation of Bystander Effect; those who do not want to fight for Ukraine because of, [any negative remark someone can think of.]

Possibly. Because the majority are aware Jehovah's Witnesses are not taking sides politically, but when it comes to War and War-time efforts, they are neutral, as most are who oppose war. The Bystander Effect may be an accusation in relation to those who do not participate in the War between Russia and Ukraine, and the Propaganda tends to spill over to those types, even some who see the wrong in both Presidents of those countries.

Truthers refer to such people as Pedophilia apologist, who assume such disorderly behavior is a sexual orientation. The debate came forth due to the Transgender swimmer Lia Thomas situation. These people knew they lost the debate in which I and others were against them and because of it, they had mad threats and ill remarks towards children.
This goes to show you what I said a while back of how such persons are going to be a problem in 2022 in all things revolving around CSA, in the US and in the UK. Hence my remark towards Linda James, in the other thread concerning the reopening of institutions, will spark problems, i.e. Disney is having some CSA issues of which now people are starting to see when the aware knows.

The fact you mention this reminds me of what I made aware of concerning some young people of this generation. There was conservation that Gen Zers will make things problematic in the long run, the majority, can't speak for the minority that had In-House Education. There was a video a girl making a to Crickets (yes insects) to stop bothering her, and she thinks it is bad luck to remove them because the day she did it, more invaded her house. Another, who didn't know how to use a can opener, and spent 45-50 mins trying to open a can then giving up.
The thing is, Higher Education does not teach common sense, or Education that is based In-Home. Let alone finance, for recently, I think Florida is going to add this form of money education into the school system, which is already tainted.
That being said, I myself, is noted as a Millennial, however, granted of my upbringing, learning In-House Education was a primary thing, vastly different from the common Millennial who was raised in an American Household which didn't apply such In-House Education.
