  1. That's right. At that point it will be too late to flee.
  2. That is true. Good that you are aware of the situation. In fact that confirms that Australia is the place were to flee. Because Gog is to come to plunder us who have fled to that remote place. That fit China and their aspirations to take the resources in Australia. Ezekiel 38 explicitly tells what Gog wants to plunder. Many Bible translations have the complete list of things according to the original text. And the things Gog wants to rob is according to the Bible: Cattle, gold, silver and goods. Ezekiel 38:11-13 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezekiel+38%3A11-14&version=RSV 11 and say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates’; 12 to seize spoil and carry off plunder; to assail the waste places which are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth. 13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to seize great spoil?’ In the link here below are many different translations of Ezekiel 38:13 naming explicitely cattle as part of the coveted spoil Gog want to put his hands on. That is for meat. https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Ezekiel 38%3A13 And gold and silver. So we who will be there should be able to find a lot of gold and silver. And that is not a farfetched idea, because there is gold and silver in Australia. There are also abandoned gold mines that still contain gold, just waiting to be mined. And after heavy rains, gold can be washed up on riverbeds.
  3. Yes, there is a connection. The "woman" in Revelation 12 is depicted with a crown of 12 stars. Queens usually had crowns on thier heads. So the woman is a sort of queen. And that part of Australia is Queensland. And Revelation 12:6 says that God would have prepared that place in advance for the "woman's" arrival: "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God and where they would feed her for 1,260 days." The remote places in Queensland are prepared with waterwells, because they are occupied by cattle stations. So the access to water is established there already. And meat is at hand, because of the cattle stations. And the climate is suitable. It is not a problem to live in tents year round there. It does not get too cold there.
  4. No, not yet. Now we are stuck with travel restrictions. We can't even if we wished. We are in a similar position as were the first century Christians in Jerusalem in year 66 when the Romans were attacking Jerusalem. The Christians had to wait till the Romans would retreat to be able to flee. Similarly we need to wait the Covid-19 pandemic to "retreat" so that travel restrictions would be lifted. I would suggest the WT organization organize for that an international assembly in a remote place in Australia, and we all travel there and then just stay there. We should just follow the same pattern as did the Israelites when they wanted to leave Egypt. Moses told Pharaoh that they want just to go a 3 day distance into the wilderness to have a holy assembly there for their God Jehovah. Exodus 3:18 "and you will go, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you men should say to him: ‘Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has communicated with us. So, please, let us make a three-day journey into the wilderness so that we may sacrifice to Jehovah our God.’ Exodus 5:1 "Afterward, Moses and Aaron went in and said to Pharʹaoh: “This is what Jehovah the God of Israel says, ‘Send my people away so that they may celebrate a festival to me in the wilderness.’” In that way we could get tourist visas to enter Australia. We all "just" come there to a international convention.
  5. Revelation 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is to be fed for a time and times and half a time away from the face of the serpent. The two wings of the great eagle is an interesting detail. And that she might fly. Yes, really this seems to indicate that the fleeing will happen by flying literally. That is fully possible in our modern time. And cattle ranches, or as they are called in Australia cattle stations, usually have their own runways for planes. Australia is mostly very flat country. So it is easy to put in place runways there in remote rural areas.
  6. Well, Revelation 12 speaks about "the woman" that will flee into a wilderness. So we need to be able to distinguish the difference with that and the statement Jesus gave Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; . So the evident difference is that Jesus warned about people that claim that they have found Jesus literally returned into a wilderness. That would be false, because Jesus will not return to the earth to dwell in the wilderness. Because Jesus said his return will be evident on the sky just as a lightening is visible on the sky. Matthew 24: 26 Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.+ 27 For just as the lightning comes out of the east and shines over to the west, so the presence* of the Son of man will be. So, a flight to a wilderness does not fall into that category. Because the "woman" in Revelation 12 does not flee to the wilderness to look for Jesus. Instead as Revelation 12 says, she will flee there to escape Satan and the persecution he causes and according to God's will she needs to be there to be fed spiritually. Actually there is yet so much the great crowd needs to learn about Jesus' teachings.
  7. I hope you have not misunderstood me, if you had me in mind. Because I am really not here to deceive. Instead I am here to build your faith and love to God, Christ and God's word and if possible prepare you to escape to the wilderness the Revelation 12 speaks about. But many christians will unfortunately choose to stay and will get it very difficult. I just wish you could escape those hardships.
  8. I think you have not understood correctly what Jesus meant when he rebuked the Jews for looking after signs. The problem with the Jews was that they were not convinced by the signs Jesus performed. The healings, the miraculous feedings and the resurrections. Those were signs that Jesus really was sent from God and that the Jews should have believed him. But the Jews required more signs. That was not good. So the problem was not in looking at the signs. But in that they did not believe the signs Jesus performed. And thus they required more spectacular signs. So today, it is not a problem to look for signs, if we look for right kind of signs, signs that Jesus fortold about about, and signs in Daniel and Revelation and anywhere else in the Bible. And it is evidently completely acceptable to be realistic about the time line of foretold events. It is evident from some of apostle Paul's statements that he had realized that the end could not come suddenly at any moment, because there were things that had to happen prior to that. He talked about a comming apostacy and the coming man of lawlessness. Also remarkable that Jesus fortold that Peter would grow old in this system and die as a martyr before Jesus' return. John 21:18,19 "Most truly I say to you, when you were younger, you used to clothe yourself and walk about where you wanted. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and another man will clothe you and carry you where you do not wish.”He said this to indicate by what sort of death he would glorify God. After he said this, he said to him: “Continue following me.” But Jesus' return will come suddenly after the 1260 days. And the Bible does not tell when exactly after the 1260 days Jesus will return. So his return with his visible manifestation will come on a day we can not expect in advance. Jesus could return before the 1335th day or he could return after that day too. So I don't find anything contradictory here. And being realistic does not prevent to be on the alert. Because we can every day be focused on being ready to be taken to heaven, if we are anointed. Because that is what the anointed should be focused on. To keep on becoming spotless and unblemished. And to purify oneself from every kind of wrong desire. The great crowd will have plenty of time during the 1000 year reign to become sin free. But the anointed must attain holiness in just a few years before Jesus return. I don't know how holy the anointed must be before they can enter the heaven? But I am sure the requirements are very high. So for the anointed there is no time to waste even if there is 3 or 4 or 6 or more years left. And when believers in Jehovah and Jesus come to the wilderness, they should consider the safe place as the place were they will survive the end of this system of things. So the way of life there will in much be just the same as in the new system that will continue after Gog is wiped out. The time in the wildersness will be a time to adapt to the life in the new world under Christ's rule. I believe that is the whole point of the simbolic woman's flight to the wilderness, to adapt oneself practically for life after Gog is wiped out. I have also come to believe that the comming system with the mark of the beast serves exactly the same purpose. Revelation 13 says that nobody will be able to buy or sell with out it. And Revelation tells us not in any circumstances take that mark of the beast. So, that will force believers in Jehovah to stop shopping things. That will force believers in God to begin to cultivate one's own food. That will be very handy, to have made that adaptation for the new world before Armageddon.
  9. Interesting that from the first signs that the Romans were comming until the Christians fled, it took about 5 months. Maybe it was difficult to flee Jerusalem during those 5 months. Our situation is now similar, we can not flee now because there are travel restrictions between countries. But those must be lifted so that we will be able to flee to the wilderness that Revelation 12 speaks about. So I expect there will be a short window for flight when the Corona virus levels finaly drop in this first wave. But specialists are speaking about a second wave later. Could be that then it will be too late to flee to the wilderness spoken about in Revelation 12. One thing more, that will make the flight very difficult is that "they" are talking about introducing a digital certificate for travel. This could in fact become the mark of the beast. Then really it would be too late to flee. All these restrictions in many countries affecting the activity of Jehovah's witnesses could be a prophetic paralell to the period mid May 66 to November 66 when the Romans were disturbing Jerusalem.
  10. The prophecies about 1260 days and what should happen during that time did not fit that period from November 66 to April 70. But it is interesting that we can find a couple of 3 and half year periods in the Bible. For example Jesus' ministry was 3 and half years also.
  11. What could you learn about all what happened Joseph? That he was sold by his brothers to Egypt and that he later became second after the King of Egypt. Or what could you learn about how Saul treated David and how all that ended for Saul?
  12. @Arauna Thanks Arauna for your reply. You are right that many christians, especially anointed will face such hardships you wrote about in your reply. That is completely in accord with the Bible. But who understands Ezekiel 38? As we know that chapter speaks about a safe and quiet place where believers in Jehovah will live right up to Gog's attempt to plunder them? And who understands Revelation 12? This chapter makes a separation between the "woman" that escapes to a safe place away from Satan and the remaing of woman's seed. The "woman" will be in safety for a purpose, namely to be fed there 1260 days. But at the same time Satan will be able to persecute the remaining ones of her seed. Verse 17. The remaining of her seed refers primarly to anointed christians. But what or who are represented by the woman? The woman will be in the wilderness to be fed. So this is explained by Matthew 24:45: 45 “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? So the "woman" in Revelation 12 should represent the domestics, the non-anointed Jehovah's witnesses. So the "woman's" flight to safety should mean that the "great crowd" will at least partially according to the Bible flee to a place of safety and be out of reach from Satan and persecution. But in the same time many anointed will not flee there and they will then find themselves in persecutions of different degree. And have we not heard many times the WT organization say that it is important to obey the direction it gives? And that in the future there might come very hard to understand directives? When the WT organization will tell they have a place for all to flee to, yes that will probably be for most Jehovah's witnesses a very strange thing to hear. And that could be even harder if such new directives would come if the governing body is replaced by someone else.
  13. The best way to sanctify Jehovah's name is as Jesus told in John 15:8: My Father is glorified in this, that you keep bearing much fruit and prove yourselves my disciples. .....12 This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you. Matthew 5:22 However, I say to you that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother will be accountable to the court of justice; and whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court; whereas whoever says, ‘You despicable fool!’ will be liable to the fiery Ge·henʹna. 43 “You heard that it was said: ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens, Paulus, how do you know if the governing body is right condemning me and my understanding? Could it not just be that they are themselves mistaken?
  14. Should you not examine if maybe you are overly confident? Have you really no doubt about the governing body's ability to give necessary guidance all the way to Armageddon? You see they are very quiet about for example the mark of the beast and do not anymore stress the importance of the book of Revelation as before?
  15. Paulus, I am here for that purpose to provide encouragement and support for my brothers and sisters and to give so called new light the leading brothers fail to give.
  16. Do you think that kind of language is appropriate for you? And I am not apostate.
  17. In my defence I will quote: Matthew 5:11 “Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against you for my sake.12 Rejoice and be overjoyed, since your reward is great in the heavens, for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to you.
  18. What do you say about Revelation 12:6,13,14 and Ezekiel 38:8?
  19. Anybody want to flee now? Or have you ever thought how nice it would be if all Jehovah's witnesses were gathered in one place when the battle at Armageddon will occur? And are we not thrilled by the story, how the Christians left Jerusalem year 66CE after the Roman army unexplicably halted their attack on Jerusalem and left? The Watchtower has regularly brought up this event in the literature. The WT organization also made a movie about that some years ago. And what can we learn from all the other stories in the Bible that involved literal fleeing or journey to a new place? Noa entered the ark and came out to a new different place and environment. Abraham left Ur, not knowing the place he was going to. Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place he was to receive as an inheritance; he went out, although not knowing where he was going. Lot left his home and fled from Sodom before its destruction. The Israelites left Egypt and went to live in the wilderness before going into the promised land. David fled from Saul a few years before he became king over Israel. Israelites left Babylon and moved back to the promised land after 70 years of exile. And Joseph and Mary fled with Jesus to Egypt when king Herod searched to kill him. Yes, there are many Bible stories about literal flights and relocations. So what could we learn from them? Surely these flights are examples for us. The WT has not been able to give us understanding about what kind of literal flight Jehovah's witnesses will at least partially undertake according to a few prophecies in the Bible. But somehow that will happen. And surely this Covid-19 pandemic will predispose at least some JW to flee to safety. So I believe this pandemic serves some purposes in God's purpose. The coming flight will be in fulfillment to Revelation 12:6,13,14 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God and where they would feed her for 1,260 days. 13 Now when the dragon saw that it had been hurled down to the earth, it persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is to be fed for a time and times and half a time away from the face of the serpent. Please note the similarity with Ezekiel 38:8 “‘“You will be given attention after many days. In the final part of the years you will invade the land whose people have been restored from the ravages of the sword, collected together out of many peoples onto the mountains of Israel, which had long been lying devastated. The inhabitants of this land were restored from the peoples, and all of them dwell in security. Is it not about the same thing in these both passages in the Bible? The WT society could already start to organize for this flight to a specific place, to a secure place, in a wilderness. But the flight will take place according to these scriptures when the persecution begins (Revelation 12:13) and because of "the ravages of the sword" (Ezekiel 38:8). I believe the best place would be in Far North Queensland, Australia. Would you like to flee before the battle at Armageddon?
  20. Here are some interesting comments about Gordon Brown's effort to set up a temporary global government because of the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/mar/26/gordon-brown-calls-for-global-government-to-tackle-coronavirus "Gordon Brown has urged world leaders to create a temporary form of global government to tackle the twin medical and economic crises caused by the Covid-19 pandemic." "The former Labour prime minister, who was at the centre of the international efforts to tackle the impact of the near-meltdown of the banks in 2008, said there was a need for a taskforce involving world leaders, health experts and the heads of the international organisations that would have executive powers to coordinate the response." Jordon Brown would like to see G20 empowered: "Brown said there had been resistance in 2008 to using the G20 as a vehicle for tackling the financial crisis, but that it should be clear to world leaders that there was no possibility of a go-it-alone approach working."
  21. Former prime minister of UK, Tony Blair is fervently advising governments around the world how to get the Corona virus under control and how to restart the economy after the lockdown. He is running Tony Blair Institute for Global Change On its webpage we can learn about his work with this: https://institute.global/tony-blair/message-leaders-tony-blair-how-mobilise-government-fight-covid-19 "Create one crisis-management centre. Governments should have already repositioned themselves towards crisis management. Reliance on traditional frameworks should be set aside to identify each main area where immediate action is required. At the heart of this should be the crisis centre, which should be established immediately and staffed with the most capable people. You should consider people you may not otherwise – from the army or from business logistics. All information and the most up-to-date data should flow into this team. This is the place where all key decisions should be made." "We have over 100 staff who were embedded in governments prior to this pandemic, and they will stay to help. In 14 countries and rising each day, we have been asked to establish or support emergency response structures in government or assist with the economic response. Analysis and policy work must be done now to mitigate the long-term economic damage and to prepare for recovery. Most important, there needs to be a globally coordinated response to this unprecedented global challenge." And in the video below Tony Blair says that he is most chocked by the absence of global coordination. (At 2:30 mark) Yes, this is fully inline with former prime minister of UK Jordan Brown who speaks for creating a new global government to solve the crisis this epidemic has created. That really once again indicates that a new power structure will come into place according to Revelation 13:1,2 And I saw a wild beast ascending out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten diadems, but on its heads blasphemous names. Now the wild beast that I saw was like a leopard, but its feet were like those of a bear, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And the dragon gave to the beast its power and its throne and great authority.
  22. For a balanced view, we must not forget for example: Revelation 7:14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one who knows.” And he said to me: “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Matthew 20:28 Just as the Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many.” Matthew 26:27 And taking a cup, he offered thanks and gave it to them, saying: “Drink out of it, all of you, 28 for this means my ‘blood of the covenant,’ which is to be poured out in behalf of many for forgiveness of sins. The context in Revelation 20 about the rest coming to life is in speaking about litteral resurrection. The context is not speaking about any simbolic coming to life. Please keep that in mind.
  23. @4Jah2meYes, I agree generally with what you wrote in that new topic.
  24. But how will you recognize them if the WT organization is no more? I mean how will you know which anointed to listen to? Those anointed will probably be separated from each other because of severe persecution. And Jesus said that many will be stumbled. That means that many will lose their faith. So how will you be able to pick an anointed that will help you spiritually?
  25. @4Jah2me What would proper spiritual direction be for you? I hope it would not be that they have to teach exactly what is according to your understanding. If true anointed taught you something you don't agree with, what would you do? Would you anyway always stick to your personal understanding of the Holy Scriptures?
