What on earth is wrong with you? This is FECRIS, the spinner of defamation against Jehovah’s Witnesses, being tried before the German Court. Do you really think they would have provided no evidence to back up their claims? You probably served as their advisor.
Of course the Court saw whatever FECRIS deemed useful for them to see. The Court looked it over, and declared it irrelevant or insufficient to justify FECRIS’s defamation..

Is the pope Catholic? Of course they do. It is the clearing-house anticult organization of French government sponsorship, and its VP is the driver of anti-JW narrative in Russia.
The German Court looked it over and judged that Jehovah’s Witnesses were being defamed. It was not their mission to make any judgment upon the faith itself. Doubtless it reasoned that, in the event that Jehovah’s Witnesses are unorthodox, even weird, one can easily solve the problem by not being one of them, and if one already is, to quit and go elsewhere. It’s a big world.

Of course. When an NGO makes defamatory statements 53% of the time, and those statements, through the influence of their Russian VP, goes on to cause gargantuan injustices in that land, one would hope they would somehow be leaned upon to make good. Whether that will happen or not I am not so sure. We are dealing with different jurisdictions, after all.
The credibility of FECRIS suffering a serious setback is the most tangible development so far. Whether it moves into anything of greater consequence is anyone’s guess.

I would love to be one of them, and I have more than once contacted certain ones—Introvigne, Folk, and Chrysiddes. They all ignore me.
I don’t hammer at their door, nor do I take their non-response personally. I tend to think that they wish to maintain a scholarly detached independence. Whereas I unambiguously champion a certain New Relgion, they stand in defense of them all, and thus may wish to keep any specific apologist at arm’s length.
    Or maybe they have just concluded that my books suck. That certainly was the case with Dear Mr. Putin. Damage control after such a debacle to present the new and improved Don’t Know Why We Persecute is anything but a slam-dunk. You must persuade people who perhaps have previously written you off to give you another look. That’s why someone should have told me that Dear Mr. Putin sucked;

The one whom I have hammered at his door to no avail (as much as 5 or 6 times cumulatively) is George Chrysiddes. The reason for added persistence here is that we had an email correspondence. On Twitter, I came across his saying to someone that he wished he knew a real live rank-and-file Witness. “Here I am,” I said like Isaiah, and we had some nice chit-chats. He faithfully read Tom Irregardless and Me, commenting via email as he did so, and wrote what is far-and-away the more original review of it (under his informal pen name Ivor E Tower).
It’s the last I ever heard from him. Maybe he too, read Dear Mr Putin and concluded it stunk. (Of course, its always possible that all of these guys have read Don’t Know Why and have concluded that it stinks, too—yikes!—but that is a scenario I prefer not to entertain. I gave it my best shot.)
My second book, No Fake News, stunk, too. Maybe that was a turn-off for George even before Dear Mr. Putin.  It was written too hastily, too sloppily. Even after sinking some time in a rewrite, I have removed it. Not sure right now if it will ever see the light of day again. I have several other irons in the fire ahead of it, so that for all practical purposes, that one is not in the fire. Or if the fire is literal, maybe it is.
Any day now (I’ve been saying this forever) Don’t Know Why will be in Amazon print. Just now I cannot make Word behave to do the bells and whistles version with fancy headers and whatnot. If I settle for a simplified version, I am fine, and I just may have to do that. The one who does my covers referred me to someone who wants $285 to format it just so. It’s not unreasonable at all, yet I think I’ll draw the line. I spend enough as it is and I’m self-published. I may have to settle for a certain rough-hewn look, which is certainly reinforced anyway by my many battles with proofing. To proof it professionally can cost thousands.
Alas, nobody likes me. Even Liebster blocks me. I probably can patch that up, and will someday. Most likely they came along whilst I was bickering with some villains and were scandalized. Or maybe they, too, read Dear Mr Putin and thought it stunk, so that I became to them “an indiscreet brother.”
Only the Librarian likes me (that old hen). I may be a bad pupil, but I am her pupil, and she doesn’t forget that. Oh—and I have Cesar in my back pocket, too. But then, who doesn’t?

The group Introvigne heads, CESNUR, (Center for the Study of New Religions) is roughly the opposite of FECRIS, the latter which, if they had their way, would ban them all as “cults.” “New religion” is the scholarly term for any group originating in relatively recent times. Scholars deliberately choose “new religion” over “cult” to avoid the incendiary overtones of the latter word. Non-scholars favor “cult” because they are intolerant and wish to make it as hot as possible for the “new religions.”
One might think of Introvigne (who I know nothing of personally) as a modern-day Voltaire. Voltaire (probably you know) is from the 17th century, and is considered founder of the Enlightenment. He was a fierce critic of organized religion, particularly the Judeo-Christian variety. He was also firmly deist, that is, he never doubted the existence of God, and he came to be much distressed that his body of work was used as a stepping stone into atheism—breaking free of God altogether. His dream was that there be religious tolerance, that all religions should get along peaceably. It never occurred to him to change them internally or to mush them into one incoherent whole. He just wanted them not to wreak violence upon one another.
Early in his life a dispute with a French aristocrat caused Voltaire to flee to England. While there he noted how there were dozens of religions, many (maybe all) claiming to be the one true path (people took religion more seriously then), yet they all co-existed without rancor. (In his native France, the Roman Catholic Church was torturing those professing other faiths on the rack.) It never would have occurred to Voltaire that a faith calling itself the one true faith was doing violence to any other one. Virtually all of them were doing it. It is a uniquely modern concept to think a religion regarding itself as the true path does violence to the others.
Voltaire’s “Letters from England” conveys his amazement and delight that here was a country, so different from back home, where people could worship as they pleased without anyone trying to ban them or beat up on them. He sets himself up as a chump interviewing a Quaker, just about as weird a religion as one could envision backed then—they ‘quaked’ when they became filled with spirit. He paints himself as though a devout Catholic thoroughly scandalized by Quaker beliefs, gives dialogue with one in which the Quaker ties him in knots, before summing up with how you just can’t talk sense with a fanatic.
It never occurred to Voltaire that the Quakers should change—he was just delighted that, given their “weirdness,” they could coexist so easily with the rest of society. In short, “intolerance” had nothing to do with doctrines or beliefs within a religion. He took for granted that internally each religion would be sufficiently different from other religions. If they were not, there would not BE separate religions—they would all blend into the same. It didn’t matter to him if Quakers were weird; if you conclude they are, don’t be one, would have been his obvious conclusion, just like it should be today with anyone concluding JWs are weird.
Being a strict religion, serious about their beliefs, there would be severe internal strictures for any Quaker doing a 180 and leaving his faith. This was of no concern to Voltaire, who personally had no use for any of the established religions. Whatever strictures a departing Quaker would encounter would be more-or-less human nature: turn your back on previously cherished beliefs and you will of course find yourself on the outside looking in as regards those still holding true to those beliefs. It only adds “fuel to the fire” that the Christian scriptures can so easily be read that way. It’s the same with JWs today. It’s the same with most of the “new religions” that FECRIS labels as “cults,” as it seeks to homogenize religions, extracting whatever teeth they have to make them stand out from others, and mush them all into one that doesn’t stand for much or anything other than putting a God-face on humanist endeavors.
Voltaire’s firm deism, his belief in God, stems from what the Jehovah’s Witness organization has called the “Book of Creation.” It stems from the observed design of creation, and from what he called first cause, the utility that created things are put to. He rejected any “book of revelation,” that is, any sacred scriptures from any source that would attempt to explain the creator. But he also famously, after years of soul-searching, declared insoluble the “problem of evil.” There is undeniably a God, and there is undeniably evil. He could not reconcile the two, though he was the foremost thinker and deist of his time.
To say that rejecting any revelatory information on God is foolish might be going too far, but it certainly is self-defeating. He yearns with all his heart to discern the problem of evil, yet he confines his gaze to where the answer certainly will not be—in the book of creation. There is only so far that book will take you. His aversion is quite understandable, given the horrendous abuse practices by the religions of his day, but it was still self-defeating as for discerning the problem of evil or any other aspects of God’s personality.
If there is an answer to the “problem of evil,” it will be found in the new religions. Of course, my view is that it will be found specifically within the the tenets of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Indeed, the wording may differ, but “Why is there evil?” is a staple of each of their basic study guides almost since their founding. Mainstream religions have so homogenized their views, so eager not to be out of step with intellectual or scientific trends, that they have modified their own foundation to the extent that the problem of evil cannot be solved. FECRIS gets around the issue by ignoring it. There is no answer to such questions, they maintain, forget about them. Focus on making the world a better place now. Nevermind arcane spiritual concerns that will distract from how we must, in the words of the Beatles, “come together.”

I really appreciated your insights here and in several previous posts. A lot to think about. I started following CESNURs doings about 15-20 years ago. Especially when the WTS took a strong interest in them too, and when the WTS attended some CESNUR-sponsored seminars.  CESNUR definitely has offered a more balanced view to those who think every NRM will produce another Jonestown, and a view which many persons need if they are on either extreme, defending or opposing NRMs. But I have also noticed some opportunism in CESNUR, perhaps even in the hope of funding, support for favored authors and publications, etc. I have listened to some speeches and interviews with Massimo Introvigne and have respect for what he is trying to do and promote, but less and less respect for the shallowness of his knowledge and research. Although CESNUR has finally acknowledged that there are additional dangers with cults, which they barely admitted in the past, they still push a very biased agenda to defend most of them, and tend to ignore when politics and NRMs can create a lethal mix.

    What a stupid statement!
“Interpretation of Bible text” is not what is on trial here. What—we are all required to interpret Bible text in a certain way?
Jehovah’s Witnesses are a ‘one true faith” religion. There are many ‘one true faith’ religions. As such, they are known to criticize other religions, as all ‘one true faith’ religions criticize other religions. It is a valid read of the Scriptures that any perusal will suggest just might be true—that there is one true faith.
But if they would “not allow any faiths” they would call for violence against them. They would try to get politicians to pass laws against them. Instead, the “weapons” of Jehovah’s Witnesses are words only. Tell them ‘no’ and they go away.
Joel Engardio has stated how Witnesses provide a fine example, perhaps our last hope, of how groups with strongly polarized views can yet co-exist peacefully.
There is a difference between criticizing and disallowing. The back of a cigarette package contains a very strong warning agains smoking. Does that mean people are not allowed to smoke?

    https://freedomofbelief.net/articles/fecris-sentenced-in-germany-for-defaming-jehovahs-witnesses
“The court also found that FECRIS distorts the theology and practices of the Jehovah’s Witnesses with the intention of defaming them. FECRIS falsely claimed that the Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that “there is a difference between men and women who receive the heavenly calling from God, in that only women ‘must receive a change of nature,’ but not men,”
Absolutely true.  All of those men and women in the upper room during Pentecost who received the anointing, including Mary, the mother of Jesus, are depicted as men sitting behind their thrones and all looking exactly alike.  Unless Wt. removes their illustrations about the 144,000 in heaven, a picture is worth a thousand words of proof.
that women who serve as door-to-door missionaries are “women slaves,”
Absolutely true.  Aren’t they considered the “large army” who pedal the doctrine of men?  (2 Tim 4:3; 2 Cor 11:20)
and children are “compelled” to participate in the public preaching,
Of course they are.  It is the “best life ever”; one to inspire a child’s mind as the goal for his future.
that women in the family should not only submit to their husbands but also “to their male children,”
Ahh, haven’t they just recently enacted damage control about this teaching?
are “forbidden to divorce without being immediately excommunicated,”
This happens generally in the case of abuse, but I wouldn't dismiss a case of adultery committed by the husband.  A woman who leaves such a situation can be disfellowshipped, while the man retains his good standing in the organization.
and “cannot rebel within the home without being immediately judged by the congregation’s elders.”
The wt. is a misogynous organization, primarily taking the side of the man.  Can it be proven on paper?  Not if they are destroyed. It can only be proven by one’s personal testimony.
That Jehovah’s Witnesses teenagers caught kissing are automatically “taken to a JW’s judicial committee,”
My son and his girl friend were leaving a meeting with the girl in the passenger seat.  Immediately, two JWs reported this to the elders, since they believed there was no chaperone with them.  Of course, my son was contacted by an elder who was told the girl’s mother was in the back seat.  I can’t imagine what would have happened if he was to lean over and kiss his girlfriend, as they prepared to leave.
and that a young woman who stays overnight in the home of a male friend would be found guilty by a judicial committee even in the absence of other elements indicating an improper relationship, were also judged to be false and defamatory statements.
These are not false allegations.  They have happened to people over the years and have been reported by them; people who do not have the monetary means to hire a man like M. Introvigne who will go to work to sustain wt.’s oppressive tactics securing their corrupt spiritual reign.
Another false claim the court regarded as defamatory was that the Jehovah’s Witnesses have announced 26 different dates for the end of the world and are now predicting it for the year 2034.
This is a false claim???  How so?  Is their math off?  Did they forget to carry the one?

Any statement by any person represents “ideology.” The difference between the ideology of FECRIS and the ideology of Introvigne is that the first stands for intolerance and the second for tolerance. Introvigne would allow all law-abiding faiths to exist. FECRIS would not. Introvigne draws the line at defaming faiths with false statements. FECRIS does not. 53% of the statements they make regarding Jehovah’s Witnesses are factually incorrect. It is not enough for FECRIS to say they don’t like Jehovah’s Witnesses. They have to lie about them, too.
The United States [bipartisan] Commission on International Religious Freedom denounces the “anti-cult” ideology (of which FECRIS is a foremost part) for its “pretension to standing as the final arbiter of religious truth.” FECRIS is a humanist organization. It will tolerate religion only so long as religion embraces humanist goals. If religion is eviscerated to the point where it becomes a majority-rule affair, and thus as subject to contemporary trends as anyone else, FECRIS has no problem with it.
How does FECRIS know that that model is agreeable with God? It doesn’t, and it doesn’t care. Humanist goals are what it champions. It is plain that Christianity never would have taken root in the first century had FECRIS been around then. The manifest human authority revealed in New Testament writing would have been denounced by them as outside interference. “It is necessary to shut the mouths of these men,” Paul wrote of one situation back then. You think FECRIS would have stood still for that?
It just may be that human authority is inherent in how God leads his worshippers. Any reading of scripture would certainly suggest so, yet that is a suggestion that FECRIS will not let stand. So it is that they presume to stand “as the final arbiter of religious truth.”
It matters not whether one agrees with the leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses. That is not the issue taken up by Introvigne or the German Court. The obvious course for anyone in disagreement with the tenets of Jehovah’s Witnesses is not to be one. Upon taking that course, there is no longer any problem. Introvigne himself obviously doesn’t agree with Jehovah’s Witnesses in all things, maybe in none of them. Otherwise, he would be one. He is not. He is Roman Catholic. What he is is a voice calling for tolerance between religions. Criticizing other faiths if fine, so long as one does not lie about them. Lord knows Witnesses have criticized other faiths, but they do not lie about them. FECRIS does—53% of the time, it turns out.
If I recall correctly, early Christianity was controversial, so much so that 40 years after Jesus death, Nero was throwing them to the lions. Introvigne would just prefer not to see the scenario repeat. Anything wrong with that?

What ideology is behind the GB claim? For sure it is not about Idea, but about Ideology!
Thus, we have a question; What did Jesus promote? Idea or Ideology?
What was promoted by (what is behind) Massimo Introvigne, the German court and FECRIS? Ideology.

It is my understanding that Eleanore Roosevelt was horrified at how Jehovah's Witnesses were treated after the first Supreme Court ruling on the issue of compulsory flag salute ... and influenced the Supreme Court to look at what damage they had caused, by this ruling, resulting in an unprecedented reversal on Flag Day, 1945, as World War II was raging.
Her opinions were generally VERY highly respected.
Perhaps we could use some of her wisdom and intelligence here.

No they do not. They seek the opinion of the court that their theology and practices are not being lied about by FECRIS—whether they are correct or not is immaterial. And the court says, in 17 instances out of 32, that FECRIS has indeed lied about them in “defamatory” statements. It is a prime example of Jesus’ words on how opposers would “lyingly say every sort of wicked thing about you.”
It hardly matters, does it?  Would you invite for your keynote speaker someone with a GPA of .6 in their field of expertise? “Well, he doesn’t lie all the time—let’s see what he has to say!” Perhaps in your twisted world that would work, but not in any world respecting integrity.
A far more significant detail that the article does not show is that the VP of FECRIS, Alexander Dvorkin, is the prime instigator of the ban against JWs in Russia. Armed with FECRIS ideology, he shouts “CULT!” in the crowded Russian theater with “facts” that are incorrect 53% of the time. Thus he and his FECRIS is responsible for the mayhem that results. Each time a Witness is beaten, tortured, jailed, detained, or harassed, it falls upon him.  It is the same as how someone shouting FIRE! in a crowded theater would be held accountable. Hopefully, now that his credibility is seriously undercut, the government may reassess the degree to which they wish to rely upon his “expertise.”
I’m not holding my breath, but it may be like when the US Supreme Court ruled during WWII that Witness children could be compelled to salute the flag. A wave of persecution broke out across the country that saw widespread destruction of property, and even some Witnesses lynched. In the aftermath of what had been unleashed, 2 or 3 of the justices gave to understand they thought the case had been decided incorrectly. Another 2 or 3 retired and were replaced by ones thought more agreeable to individual liberty. The case came before the court once again, just three years later, and the decision was reversed. Would that such a thing were to happen in Russia.

Unfortunately, I can only comment on an article by M. Introvign, and M.I. it is known to us from a particular and specific context from before.
It would be good to have court documentation, so that I would be able to give a clearer "opinion".
The article shows a detail that includes Russia and its judiciary with the JW and with "Western democracy." In this case, German democracy gives an opinion on Russia and its domestic policy towards the JW. This creates a problem and doubts the objectivity of the German court. On the other hand, we have the example of American courts that do not want to enter into theological debates and evaluate what and how which religion teaches and how it disciplines and guide its members. It does not discuss the internal rules and methods of church bodies. According to the article, this is also about such things.
quote: The court also found that FECRIS distorts the theology and practices of the Jehovah’s Witnesses with the intention of defaming them
WTJWorg in Germany seeks the opinion and approval of the court that certain JW theology and practices are correct. From whose point of view should it be correct? Court view? They also ask the court to declare certain observations of external observers to be false. It is possible that someone at FECRIS did not do a good research so he said the inaccuracy. ... quote: (Sometimes, it is unclear whether FECRIS activists, who claim to be experts on “cults,” are in bad faith or simply incompetent. They published the case of a 17-year-old Dutch girl who died during a measles epidemic in 2013 after her parents had refused vaccination for religious reasons and implied she was a Jehovah’s Witnesses. In fact, she was a member of a Calvinist Christian Reformed congregation, i.e., belonged to a church known for being a staunch opponent of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.)
How the elders (and JW lawyers) in the Judicial Communities working, is evident from some other court documents and videos. If the elders were to make their notes available, (if they were written) rather than destroyed them as instructed by the GB Legal Department and representatives, then perhaps this “story” should be different.
quote: The German Jehovah’s Witnesses asked the District Court of Hamburg to examine 32 statements. The court found 17 of them defamatory, one partially defamatory, and 14 non-defamatory.
What is the content of these 14 and 1/2 ? They are true, right? Can you find out what this is about?

Outside, or inside the organization? Outside, they most certainly fight to impose their view on others through legislation.  They always have through history.    Inside?  Soft violence is used every day by the GB against the anointed.  Matt 24:48-51  When someone tells you not to seek out and gather with brothers and sisters to read and study the word of God, that is "soft" violence enacted against a people - a spiritual nation.   These are "living" temple stones figuratively scattered throughout the congregations of JWs; yet, surrounded by elder "Gentiles". (2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2)  Soft violence can crush an individual into submission; or worse, into spiritual destruction.  Luke 19:44; 21:6      (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17)

"other faiths"...the faith promoted by the organization is total reliance on...the organization.  This is a faith contrary to what the scriptures teach.  The "other faith" found in the organization is within the hearts of the anointed and should be practiced by them.  But, they have become submissive to "organizational" faith under the rule of men.  Is any tolerance found regarding where their faith should lie?
"For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, 4 since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments 5 and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ. "  2 Cor 10:4,5
that is raised up against the knowledge of God,
Nowhere can it be found in the scriptures that support the rulership of "uncircumcised" men over God's anointed Temple dwelling.   (Ezek 44:6-9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Matt 24:15,16)
    the demolition of strongholds.
What is the stronghold that will be demolished by the Word of God, the Spirit of God?  The mountainlike organization that destroys His people with soft violence.  Zech 4:6,7; Rev 8:8; 13:5-7; 19:20; Isa 2:12-18

quote: That defamatory statements about the Jehovah’s Witnesses come from Russian official documents does not mean that organizations in democratic countries are free to reprint them. - https://bitterwinter.org/fecris-sentenced-in-germany-for-defaming-jehovahs-witnesses/
Is this, above, German Court ruling, opinion or something else? Or is this M.I interpretation?
According to JW interpretations about Bible and Romans 13 in particular, every secular government are equal before God. No matter is it about more or less "democratic countries" or or about other political ideology. In such point of view, all good and bad decisions aka "official documents" made by "democratic" or by "not-democratic" countries have same value. And people are free to choose to obey or not to obey, to trust or not to trust in such "official documents". With various outcome made by individual or group decision. In case of Russian JW they made their choice with knowing in advance what could and would look like going against "official documents".
We can "reprint" (copy/paste) WTJWorg official site articles or videos and say what we think about it. Or do M.I thinks we have to be silent about it/them?
WTJWorg publications (especially in the past) were full of freedom of (hate) speech against other religions, especially the Catholic Church. So, what's the problem now? Maybe the difference is that JW’s attacks on other religions are justified in JW’s eyes? Because other religions are false and their doctrines are false? And their traditions are wrong? So it's free to attack them?
Catholic priests told their members not to read literature from JW. What do JW elders and GB tell their members? The same thing, not to read anything that comes from other religions.
Today, “hate speech” in WTJWorg concentrates on former members. Who wants to deal with such things as listening to arguments from both sides and giving opinions? Maybe the German Court? It seems to be interesting to them, so maybe they will deal with it in the future as well. :))

Exactly. Jehovah’s Witnesses have to be the most tolerant of religions in that, with regard to confronting other faiths, their weapons are words only. Not only do they reject the hard violence of physical persecution of those of other beliefs, they also reject the soft violence of attempting to legislate their views upon others.

In this case you have ones who failed to remake the JW organization in their own image, and who thereafter resort to incessantly attacking it, pitching and repitching many of the same defamatory mischaracterizations that FECRIS was rebuked for—and concocting some of their own. Three times in the last few weeks their have been statements against the JW organization (one from Witness, and two from Patiently Sitting on my Hands) that almost immediately had to be retracted as they were found to be false. Will that prevent further misrepresentations? I doubt it.
In the face of this, ones adhering to the JW way of worship either respond with some bluntness or walk away. I would not choose the same words as Arauna, (OCD hate) but I see where she gets it from. Having left the JW faith, presumably you’ve found a life somewhere else. Continually attacking the faith you were not able to change smacks of sour grapes—why do you not move on in life? OCD is not such an unreasonable description at all.

    "the marketplace of ideas" :)))
This forum with JW Open Club is marketplace of ideas, too. How would you describe the participants confronting their ideas?  Who are the buyers and who are the sellers? What is their business ethics? Are there any restrictions on what ideas are allowed? ... etc.

Reasonable people are not necessarily True Christians though, including the GB and their lawyers. However True Christians will know the words that Jesus spoke and that were recorded for use by the True Anointed ones. Even we, the 'little dogs', can gain some guidance from some basic scripture.
Jesus said " For you expressed sympathy for those in prison and you accepted joyfully the plundering of your belongings, knowing that you yourselves have a better and an enduring possession."
So whilst Arauna is worrying about man made 'theft laws', True Christians Earth wide are living by God's Laws through Jesus Christ.

If the leaders of the organization were genuinely living for the Kingdom to come, they would drop all of this crap and walk away.  But, their kingdom is of THIS world, and like the evil one, they don’t want to lose it. (John 18:36; 1 John 5:19)  They have taught their followers to also support their cause, to support their kingdom, and their lies; which is alienated from the kingdom that lies in the hearts of those in Jesus Christ.  (Luke 17:21; 1 Cor 3:16)  It has nothing to do with earthly treasures or legal rights. (Luke 4:5,6; Matt 6:19-21)
The leaders have been living under a cloak of apparent humility, but the intentions of their hearts are becoming quite clear to the world at large.  No longer can they hide their true selves, that which lies beneath white-washed tombs. Matt 23:27,28
God is concerned with the "legal system" that His holy people live under - His saints/anointed and all JWs who put up with internal organizational corruption.  To believe that the Wt. is innocent on all accounts, and that its sins are ignored by the Father and Jesus Christ, is pure foolishness.
    Woe to the rebellious children!
    This is the Lord’s declaration.
    They carry out a plan, but not mine;
    they make an alliance,
    but against my will,
piling sin on top of sin.
    2 Without asking my advice
they set out to go down to Egypt
in order to seek shelter under Pharaoh’s protection
and take refuge in Egypt’s shadow.
Go now, write it on a tablet in their presence
    and inscribe it on a scroll;
it will be for the future,
    forever and ever.
9 They are a rebellious people,
    deceptive children,
children who do not want to listen to the Lord’s instruction.
Therefore the Holy One of Israel says:
“Because you have rejected this message
and have trusted in oppression and deceit,
    and have depended on them,
13 this iniquity of yours will be
    like a crumbling gap,
a bulge in a high wall
whose collapse will come in an instant—suddenly!
14 Its collapse will be like the shattering
of a potter’s jar, crushed to pieces,
so that not even a fragment of pottery
will be found among its shattered remains—
no fragment large enough to take fire from a hearth
or scoop water from a cistern.”  Isaiah 30

It will even have a car wash!
Why a car wash on land where wetlands are federally and state protected?  This organization has a dark history of polluting other property secretly.   They put up a new front of caring for the land and using environmentally sound building techniques.  But the history of their coverup, will not go away.
If anyone is ecstatic about this proposal, I ask, why?

What you need to know about the 1.7-million-square-foot Watchtower project

By  Peter Katz  -  May 22, 2021   The environmental review of a plan by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc. to build a 1.7-million-square-foot audio-visual production center with residences on 242 acres of property it owns in Sloatsburg in Rockland County with another 7 acres in Tuxedo in Orange County moves into the public hearing phase on May 26. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is the nonprofit that oversees Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Ramapo Town Board scheduled the public hearing for the project’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement. Following the hearing, the board will receive public comments on the DEIS until June 21.
A rendering of the project. At the same time, the board will be conducting public hearings on a proposed zoning amendment and an amendment to the town’s Comprehensive Plan for the project.
According to Harold Corkern, Watchtower’s president, the production center would be used for the creation and production of sound, video and film recordings.
In addition, there would be living, recreational and worship facilities for employees who work at the facility as well as volunteers who assist there on a temporary basis. The street address given for the proposed facility is 155 Sterling Mine Road. The world headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses is in nearby Warwick, about a 3-minute drive from the site of the proposed production center.
Corkern notes that Ramapo’s Zoning Code makes no provision for a facility of the type being proposed and Watchtower is asking that a new zoning district, Mixed Use-3, be applied to the property.
He said that in 2005 the land was rezoned to its current special residential housing district  and a subdivision plan was approved that would have allowed 292 homes to be built on the land in an active-adult community. There would have been 876 bedrooms in the 292 homes, according to Corkern, compared with 645 bedrooms that Watchtower is proposing.
There would be 10 residential buildings totaling more than 711,000 square feet. There would be 323,949 square feet of offices. A fitness center would occupy 19,378 square feet, a car wash would take up 3,355 square feet and a central energy plant would cover 17,550 square feet.
The actual production studios would encompass 120,000 square feet with an additional 30,000 square feet of support and maintenance space. Other facilities would include a 118,075-square-foot visitor center, a 33,913-square-foot reception center and a 129,718-square-foot events facility. Outside there would be a backlot along with a sports field. According to documents on file with the town, none of the proposed buildings would be taller than 75 feet.
Watchtower proposes to build a 95,000-square-foot parking garage at the site. Additional parking would be in the lowest level of each residential building as well as the events facility, reception center, office building and visitor center. There would be a total of 1,143 indoor spaces for vehicles, including buses, with an additional 138 spaces at grade level. The equivalent surface area for all of the parking spaces totals 10.9-acres, according to information in the DEIS.
Watchtower states that no school-age children would live at the facility.
The buildings would be heated and cooled using geothermal heat pumps. At least some  building construction would be done using mass timber, a category of wood product that is being promoted as a low-carbon alternative to concrete and steel construction.
Information in the DEIS indicates that approximately 104 acres of the property would be disturbed for the development. It says the overall landscaping approach is to keep as much native vegetation in place as possible while restoring disturbed areas to their native state of woods or meadow.
Small areas of lawn are planned for the site with native trees and shrubs being used for the majority of the site, which it is said will help control stormwater runoff. There are both federally and state protected wetlands on the property as well as areas of steep slopes, bedrock outcroppings and undisturbed forests, all sensitive environmental features.
