Micah Ong got a reaction from Queen Esther in One Of The Saddest Things Done In The Name of Religion - To Not Teach That God Had a Name?
Yes I agree too that we should worship the one and only true God.  YHWY which means "I will become" was fulfilled as Jesus Christ the Messiah.  We cannot demote Jesus and focus on YHWY which was the name that he had leading up to the fulfilment of his will; being manifest in the flesh to pay the ransom for mankind.  Yes YHWH was used in the Hebrew scriptures but wasn't used in the Christian Greek Scriptures.  God did this for a reason because Jesus was the sacred secret of God.
Jesus said at John 8:58 Jesus replied, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, before Abraham was born, I Am.”
The Jews knew that YHWY appeared before Abraham and said "I Am."  Therefore they knew he was saying he was God just as Isaiah 9:6 says.  That's why they picked up stones to throw at him.
    Jesus created and deserves worship
Revelation 14:7 “Fear God [with awe and reverence], and give Him glory [and honor and praise in worship], because the hour of His judgment has come; [with all your heart] worship Him who created the heaven and the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Who created the Heavens and the Earth?
Colossians 1:16 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn(https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don_stewart/don_stewart_216.cfm) of all creation. 16 For by him(Jesus) all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him(Jesus) and for him(Jesus). 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together."
We know this is talking about Jesus.
We can clearly see from the scriptures Jesus is the fulfilment of Jehovah.  That's why Jehovah is not mentioned in the Christian Greek Scriptures. (Check JW Library app and search 'Jehovah' in the Kingdom Interlinear Bible)
Jesus is the name above every other name and the name to which all creation should worship Philippians 2:9,10
May God please open your minds and hearts to fully know him.
Acts 4:11,12  This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.  And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
^ This is a key scripture.  Note: not by Jehovah's name
    Jesus is equal to God
Phil 2:6-8 - see in JW Library app, when reading note, the word 'things' is in brackets which means it is added in there.
I have provided the links to the original Koine Greek as well.

The reason he said the Father was greater than he was is because at that moment he had emptied himself and became as a man.  He also had limitations as that man.  That is why he said 'no one knows the day or the hour except the Father.'
I'm sorry to say @Bible Speaks but 'Jehovah' is an addition to the scroll of Revelation as found in the New World Translation(16 times).  No where is it found there! “I am bearing witness to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll;"
Please let God's word speak to you with the Holy Spirit and not in a biased way through a man made organisation.
Epheshians 3:16 I pray that he may grant you through the abundance of his glory to be made mighty in the man you are inside, with power through his spirit, 17 and that through your faith you may have the Christ dwell in your hearts with love.  May you be rooted and established on the foundation, 18 in order that with all the holy ones you may be thoroughly able to comprehend fully what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of the Christ, which surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness that God gives.

Micah Ong reacted to James Thomas Rook Jr. in Banned in Russia
If only ...  it was Caleb the Cartoon character that in order to chastize his sister ... banned her to "Coventry" and destroyed the entire family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and ripped her friends from her all by edict ... then perhaps that extreme activity, akin to chopping off a baby's head for pooping in it's diaper, would be cause for banning Caleb from Russia.
Fortunately, cartoon characters only obey the scripts that are written for them according to the agendas in force.
Unfortunately, cruel, clueless humans do the same.
You do realize of course, that the REAL reason Jehovah's Witnesses were banned from Russia is their EXAMPLE of extreme cruelty toward EACH OTHER.
If you can by edict destroy entire families and social groups to discipline ONE PERSON .. you can also be a real threat to the Russian Federation's cohesiveness.
    All rational people understand this.

Micah Ong got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in What gives them the right to insert YHWH so that the the scriptures are manipulated to suit the their doctrine?
It is what it is! @Anna.  What gives them the right to insert YHWH so that the the scriptures are manipulated to suit the their doctrine?  You can't get away from that.  You can't add or take away from God's word no matter what your intention is.  It's his word!
Deut 4:2 "You must not add to the word that I am commanding you, neither must you take away from it, so as to keep the commandments of Jehovah your God that I am commanding you."
Deut 12:32 "Every word that I am commanding you is what you should be careful to do. You must not add to it nor take away from it."
Rev 22:18,19 "“I am bearing witness to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; 19 and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things that are written about in this scroll.
If God wanted YHWH there he would have made sure of it, like he did with the Hebrew Scriptures.  But he has reason for not using it.  Jesus is the saviour!  Acts 4:10-12
Isaiah 43:11 "I-I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior."
Titus 2:13-3:6 "manifestation of the great God and of [the] Savior of us, Christ Jesus, However, when the kindness and the love for man on the part of our Savior, God, was manifested, This [spirit] he poured out richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior." (Note the New World Translation inclusion of [the] to change the meaning of this passage.)
It is misrepresenting God if you add the name when it was not in the Christian Greek Scriptures because the New Testament clearly shows that Jesus is the new name under which people must get saved.
The Watchtower is deliberately misleading sincere honest hearted people.
But we can be sure that God reads the heart and knows those who belong to him in all religions even though he does not have a religion.
As you are aware ALL religion will be done away with.
I know how you feel as I would of defended the Watchtower in the past but the scriptures speak for themselves.  I would rather defend the scriptures than defend an organization.  And then encourage people to build up their faith and love built on truths found in the bible.  God blesses that!  Because then you can have a deeper relationship with him based on spirit and truth.

Micah Ong reacted to JW Insider in Russian ban on JW in the light of prophecy
As a Witness, I am happy that our accepted understanding of Scripture has been made so relevant for our day from the perspective of morality and lifestyle, and in so many other practical ways. The worldwide brotherhood creates the moral support we need to remain encouraged and faithful in a world that is so full of stress. We avoid unnecessary involvement in the world's affairs, refuse to take sides in divisive politics and wars. We shun the idolatry of national symbols and worldly ideologies. We shun the materialistic viewpoint of the world, and related philosophies, and the "showy display of one's possessions."
(1 John 2:15-17) 15 Do not love either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life* [NWT footnote: "the bragging about one's possessions"] —does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
The organization we are associated with has laid the foundation for one of the most effective and widespread preaching and teaching programs in the entire world, and we also are privileged to participate in it. The spirit of active giving and self-sacrifice creates a climate of happiness and closeness with one another. We learn to get along with a varied cross-section of brothers and sisters from anywhere in the world, and from many walks of life.
I believe we embody a twenty-first century version of that first-century movement in a way that makes the same issues we find in the Greek Scriptures come alive in our own congregations. Yes, some of those issues are about imperfections and flaws, one of them being the constant misunderstandings about the "last days" and the "time of the end." Finally, Paul, said that 'we don't need anything to be written to us about the times and seasons because it's coming without warning; therefore we need to be ready at all times.'
(1 Thessalonians 5:1-11) 5 Now as for the times and the seasons, brothers, you need nothing to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know very well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. . . . 6 So, then, let us not sleep on as the rest do, but let us stay awake and keep our senses. . . . 11 Therefore, keep encouraging one another and building one another up, just as you are in fact doing.
I take that quite literally. We need NOTHING to be written to us about chronology, about the times and seasons, because Jehovah's day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. There is no advance warning of any kind.
I think this is why it's actually very true that we've never gotten anything correct (yet) when trying to make a prediction based on prophecy. There are a couple of apparent exceptions to the rule, similar to the ones you mentioned, and I'd like to try to address them in the next post. But the rule remains true, even when you get one or two things right out of nearly 100 attempts to put a time limit on events, or predict that events will happen within a certain time frame, or even try to tie a Biblical event to a particular entity in our current time frame.
Our track record on prophecy does indicate that we really know nothing about prophecy before a fulfillment takes place. In fact, even when the "fulfillment" has taken place, we are also still guessing, because almost all the "fulfillments" we claim to have known about have also been changed over time, in our publications' explanations. All we have, therefore, are the latest guesses ("private interpretations" to borrow a phrase from 2 Peter 1:20) of what prophecies in our day might mean, or might have meant. The vast majority of these predictions have already been dropped, and the vast majority of applications we have made from prophecy and prophetic drama have also been dropped or changed significantly. This goes for EVERYTHING, even things as simple as the wheat and the weeds, the faithful and discreet slave, the sheep and the goats, the prodigal son, and the meaning of various parables about the Kingdom of God.
Based on all the evidence so far, we would have to admit that we have never had a clue about the application of specific future events. And that's the way it should be. We need nothing to be written to us about events related to the times and seasons.
We should concern ourselves with being witnesses for the good news about Jesus, encouraging others and being the kind of persons we ought to be. We do this rather than join the stress and/or excitement of worrying about:
whether "World War III" is imminent, or worldwide persecution is imminent, or concerns about who is the "king of the north," or who and where is "Gog of the land of Magog," or whether the UN is getting ready to make a move against religion. None of those things need concern us. We trust in Jehovah and throw our burden on him.
I believe it is true, then, that Jesus already told us what we need to know about the time of the end. To that point, I will also respond to something that Eoin said about Amos 3:7.
If Paul says there is nothing more to reveal about this matter, I think we should believe him. It appears, from our experience so far at least, that the gift of "prophecy" may have already been done away with.
(1 Corinthians 13:8) . . .But if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away with. . .
The prophecy that Jesus gave about the time of the end, and various other references to the end for which we are still awaiting fulfillment, should be sufficient for us. Anything more that Jehovah would reveal of "his confidential matter to his servants the prophets" would be the equivalent of giving prior knowledge. It would become, in effect, an additional sign of the imminence of the end. How would one square that with the words of Jesus?
(Matthew 24:36-42) 36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. . . . 42 Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. . . . 44 On this account, you too prove yourselves ready, because the Son of man is coming at an hour that you do not think to be it.
(Acts 1:7) 7 He said to them: “It does not belong to you to know the times or seasons that the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction.
    Also of possible interest:
(Daniel 8:23-25) 23 “And in the final part of their kingdom, as the transgressors act to a completion, a fierce-looking king who understands ambiguous sayings will stand up. 24 His power will become great, but not through his own power. He will bring ruin in an extraordinary way, and he will be successful and act effectively. He will bring mighty ones to ruin, also the people made up of the holy ones. 25 And by his cunning he will use deception to succeed; and in his heart he will exalt himself; and during a time of security* [NWT footnote adds: or possibly, "and without warning"] he will bring many to ruin. He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand.
The effectiveness of the "fierce-looking king" and his ability to bring even many mighty and holy ones to ruin, is through cunning and deception, during a time of peace and security. This does not imply any advance warning, but something that can go on over a potentially long period of time, up until a stand is taken against the Prince of princes. It's our responsibility not to be deceived by 'the ruler of this world' or any of the powers of this system of things, but to remain no part of the world, on the lookout not to get bogged down in the things of this world. But it may also mean that our watchfulness should be all the greater when things seem to be going well for us, without hindrance, because that's the easiest time become like the unfaithful slave who says 'my master is delaying.' Yet most of us seem to raise the alert levels only when those portions of the world that we pay attention to are the most stressed.
(Galatians 6:9, 10) 9 So let us not give up in doing what is fine, for in due season we shall reap if we do not tire out. 10 Really, then, as long as we have time favorable for it, let us work what is good toward all, but especially toward those related to [us] in the faith.
(2 Timothy 4:1-5) . . .I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is destined to judge the living and the dead, and by his manifestation and his kingdom, 2 preach the word, be at it urgently in favorable season, in troublesome season, reprove, reprimand, exhort, with all long-suffering and [art of] teaching. 3 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. 5 You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do [the] work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
During times of stress and fear, we are quick to wonder what end-time prophecy is being fulfilled. Yet during a "favorable season," a time when people are enjoying relative peace and security, that's when another very important prophecy is being fulfilled: the prophecy of 2 Tim 4:3, for example, about when people will want to have their ears tickled with false stories. The Watch Tower publications say that this type of thing began to happen especially after the apostles died out around the year 100 C.E. During all these years, people were susceptible to false stories because during times of relative peace and security, it appeared the master was delaying and the temptation therefore presents itself to take advantage. People would ridicule the prophecy about Jesus' parousia, manifestation and kingdom and say that all things are continuing as they always were.
(2 Peter 3:1-18) . . . Beloved ones, this is now the second letter I am writing you in which, as in my first one, I am stirring up your clear thinking faculties by way of a reminder, 2 that you should remember the sayings previously spoken by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles. 3 First of all know this, that in the last days ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.” . . . 10 But Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, . . .11 Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, consider what sort of people you ought to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion, 12 as you await and keep close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah,. . . 13 But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell. 14 Therefore, beloved ones, since you are awaiting these things, do your utmost to be found finally by him spotless and unblemished and in peace. 15 Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, . . . 17 You, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard so that you may not be led astray with them by the error of the lawless people and fall from your own steadfastness.
So, from verse  17, we already have "this advance knowledge," the knowledge that Jehovah's day will come as a thief. We need nothing more to written to us about it. People are therefore saying that all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation's beginning. This is apparently what Jesus was saying, too, when the apostles asked him for a sign and, instead of giving them a sign, he said:
(Matthew 24:4-8, 23, 27) . . .“Look out that nobody misleads you, 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for these things must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. . . . 23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it. . . . signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Look! I have forewarned you. 26 Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For just as the lightning comes out of the east and shines over to the west, so the presence of the Son of man will be.
Instead of a sign or signs to watch out for, we know that the presence comes suddenly, like lightning. if anyone tells us there are signs, or that Jesus is already present somewhere, we are not to believe it. We have been forewarned.
I know this isn't the way we usually read Matthew 24, but it's the way that seems to make the most sense with all the rest of the scriptures that comment on it. It's one of the most important prophecies we use when referring to this particular part of the last days we find ourselves in. Yet, it tells us not to get concerned about things we might have thought were signs of the end, because the end could happen at any time, with or without the things we tend to think of as "signs." Wars and reports of wars and persecution and preaching would continue to happen during the last days, but the end is not yet. Since the end could still happen at any time, this must mean only that these are not "signs" of the end.

@James Thomas Rook Jr. I wish we could have new light with regards to a lifesaving blood transfusion.
Matt 12:10 "...they asked Jesus, “Is it lawful and permissible to heal on the Sabbath?”—they asked this so that they might accuse Him and bring charges into court. 11 But He said to them, “What man is there among you who, if he has only one sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep!"
    Life is sacred isn't it?
But I think personally, I would still prefer a glass of red to be wine...
@Aaron Mathewson Only takes one failed "prophecy."
Deut 18:20-22 “‘If any prophet presumptuously speaks a word in my name that I did not command him to speak or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. 21 However, you may say in your heart: “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” 22 When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The prophet spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him."
The Generation prophecy is obviously flawed but new light say it's an overlapping generation.  You only have to look at the Queen of England to see that there is now four living generations.

That presumes that all Jehovah's Witnesses think exactly the same way, about the exact same things, which is the Society's goal .. but it never happens. The Society has NEVER been right about ANYTHING they predicted .. which is why "new light" is discovered AFTER the facts become evident.  I remember as a preteen boy accompanying my Mom to Assemblies where the "King of the North" and "Gog of Magog" were discussed with millions of words extending over 60 years of my lifetime, and NONE of it had any practical relevance to my or any other person's life, with the possible exception of keeping me too busy to get into trouble.
We have seen so much "New Light" that no one has noticed the long trail of dead, corroded batteries trailing behind, from "light" that was actually darkness.
It is no shame to say to any hypothesis "I am GUESSING ... I really have no idea whatsoever "  Sorta like the Pyramids found in Europe recently that are at least 25,000 years old.
"Prophets" in modern times never have to work hard, miss any meals, or turn down "green handshakes".
.My guess about Russia is  .... to paraphrase ... "STUFF HAPPENS!".

@Micah Ong Thank you for your comment. Just a whisper (I'm a woman) but no problem! Yes, Jehovah we must stay close to, for harder times coming. Keep reading and doing your best to help others. The world will "know Jehovah" before Armageddon comes. This scripture below shows us many things and how the end is close. Keep praying for many need love and support right now. Jehovah always gives back His Loyal Love.
7 But the end of all things has drawn close. Therefore, be sound in mind,+ and be vigilant* with a view to prayers.+8 Above all things, have intense love for one another,+ because love covers a multitude of sins.+ 9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.+ 10 To the extent that each one has received a gift, use it in ministering to one another as fine stewards of God’s undeserved kindness that is expressed in various ways.+ 11 If anyone speaks, let him do so as speaking pronouncements from God; if anyone ministers, let him do so as depending on the strength that God supplies;+ so that in all things God may be glorified+ through Jesus Christ. The glory and the might are his forever and ever. Amen.
12 Beloved ones, do not be surprised about the fiery trials that you are experiencing,+ as though something strange were happening to you. 13 On the contrary, go on rejoicing+ over the extent to which you are sharers in the sufferings of the Christ,+ so that you may rejoice and be overjoyed also during the revelation of his glory.+ 14 If you are being reproached*for the name of Christ, you are happy,+because the spirit of glory, yes, the spirit of God, is resting upon you.
15 However, let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or a wrongdoer or a busybody in other people’s matters.+16 But if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed,+ but let him keep on glorifying God while bearing this name. 17 For it is the appointed time for the judgment to start with the house of God.+Now if it starts first with us,+ what will the outcome be for those who are not obedient to the good news of God?+ 18 “And if the righteous man is being saved with difficulty, what will happen to the ungodly man and the sinner?”+ 19 So, then, let those who are suffering in harmony with the will of God keep on entrusting*themselves* to a faithful Creator while they are doing good."(1Peter 4:7-19).

We are living in very fluid times indeed.  Yes Jesus is our King, let's keep a firm grip on his right hand and we won't be shaken.

@JW Insider I apologise for being blunt but I do think it is important for everyone to know how tainted the NWT is to suit doctrine which I think was clearly shown in that they took it upon themselves to insert Jehovah in the Christian Greek Scriptures under their own assumptions.  Therefore trust in the Governing Body is clearly misdirected and dangerous.  I just want to sound the warning.
You are right in saying "it's a matter of what sort of persons ought we to be"
Bible based principals are what shape us and coming to Jesus in spirit and 'truth' is part of our worship to the God of truth.
Geofferr Jackson GB member admitted at the Royal Commission under oath, that it would be presumptuous to say they are being used by Jehovah, but that they are Guardians Of the Doctrine(G,O,D).  Not inspired by Holy Spirit presenting truths from the bible as they say they are in the publications.

Be Loyal to Jesus only do not put your trust in man to whom no salvation belongs.
It's interesting that they are called the "Faithful slave" and the rest are called "Publishers."
Isn't it the other way around when you think about it?

Micah Ong got a reaction from Queen Esther in Passing up of the emblems is a Freemason and Satanist Rite
Some excellent wt source and scriptures there for the reasoning presented "Bible Speaks."
One last thing about the memorial as practiced by Jehovah's Witnesses.  It is actually a ritual that is practiced by high degree Freemasons and Satanist alike where they reject the body and blood of Jesus Christ by passing up the emblems.  Since Charles Taze Russell was a 33rd degree Freemason he would have implemented this.  I hear from eyewitnesses who were young at the time recalling accounts where partakers being of the annointed would have a secondary passover where they would pass over the emblems instead of taking them.
It is vitally important that we read the scriptures and see that Jesus told his followers to partake and that there would be no group that would not partake if they were to be his followers.  Careful Study of the scriptures clearly tell us that.
The other sheep that were not of this fold but would come in to be one flock that Jesus mentioned, would in context be the Gentiles of the nations.  Not two classes or groups.
I know I am being blunt and have not quoted scriptures as it late and I have had a big day but please forgive me.
But I believe it is so important for people to know the truth of God's word and to watch out for the foretold apostasy.
Many Christs(Annointed) ect Christ meaning Annointed
Thanks for your kind support and articles "Queen Esther" & "Bible Speaks"

Micah Ong reacted to Witness in "Faithful slave" and the "Publishers."
These are some thought-provoking quote from the Wt. 3/17 pp. 8-12
"However, Jehovah’s Witnesses refrain from treating religious leaders as ones who merit extraordinary honor, even though those leaders may expect it. False religion misrepresents God and distorts the teachings of his Word. Thus, we show religious leaders regard as fellow humans, but we do not show them special honor. We recall that Jesus denounced such men of his day as hypocrites and blind guides. (Matt. 23:23, 24"
"Such elders are recognized as humble spiritual shepherds. As evidence of their humility, they refuse to let themselves be treated as celebrities. In this they differ from many modern-day religious leaders and from those of the first century about whom Jesus said: “They like the most prominent place at evening meals and the front seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.”—Matt. 23:6, 7."
I can’t say I agree with the second paragraph.  Their word rules no different than the words of a Catholic priest. Both hear confessions, both judge.  And what about the “faithful and discreet slave”?  I have seen pictures on this forum easily depicting the GB as prominent figures.  Does this not also distort the teachings of God’s word?
When Jesus said, “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?”  (Matt 24:45), he is essentially saying, among all his faithful and wise servants, (whom he already has judged as such)  who will the master put in charge of the household?  He is not saying that the one in charge is the only faithful and wise servant.  At one time the Wt. taught that every anointed one was the “faithful and wise” slave.  Recently, it has boiled down to just the GB with no scriptural reason, except that it fulfills prophesy.  Rev 13:11,15; 16:13,14  But there is evidence in scripture that a “steward” over God’s household (which is all anointed ones, 1 Pet 4:17; Eph 2:21; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17) can begin to “beat” his fellow slaves, by selfishly insisting on their own announcement as faithful and discreet prematurely, by insisting that the Lord returns also prematurely, (Matt 24:48) by judging them without cause.  (Matt 24:48)
Each anointed one must be found “faithful and wise” upon Jesus’ return.  Matt 25:21
“When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable:  “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited.  If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests.  For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”  Luke 14:7-11
It is also true that each one of us is to slave for Christ and not for men. Rom 14:4; James 4:12  The title of “publisher”, along with unbaptized publisher, circuit overseer, district overseer, pioneer, special pioneer, etc, all categorize the sheep by bestowing certain characteristics that one must take note of.  What is the difference between the Wt. doing this and Christendom “meriting certain honor” on individuals?
Jesus said, "Why do you call me good?"  "No one is good--except God alone."  Mark 10:18
If Jesus never accepted honor, why would any man seek his own glory, expecting obedience from others because of his self-proclaimed title?
The scenario of both a faithful steward as well as an evil steward present during the end time is evident in the scriptures.  One must discern who they both are by analyzing their “fruits”, their teachings.    Matt 24:48-51; Matt 7:15-20; John 15:4,5,8,16; Heb 13:15; Jude 1:12  Because we are all to be slaves of Christ, we are all responsible for our loyalty to pure truth.  Phil 1:9,10  The responsibility doesn’t just fall on the teacher, but on the student as well.  Jer 23:16-30; 5:30-31
    Prov 2:1-15; Matt 7:7,8;  Zeph 2:3; Ps 26:4-7; 2 Cor 6:17; Rev 3:18

It has begun a countdown that only if we remain united with the authentic and discreet slave of Jehovah's Witnesses, will lead us to survive the great tribulation.
@Queen Esther Soon Jehovah will fight his enemies right before our eyes! May we be strong and put out confidence in Jehovah! He is our Salvation.                 ?????? @Witness
Foretold times of divisions and judgement with the house of God. The Lord Jesus will reveal all those doing bad and as it says will clean and bring justice as the Head of the Congregations. I have included scriptures and a link. We all will be tested, yet those in a position of oversight in the Congregation will have judgment first.
17 For it is the appointed time for the judgment to start with the house of God.
Now if it starts first with us, what will the outcome be for those who are not obedient to the good news of God?
18 “And if the righteous man is being saved with difficulty, what will happen to the ungodly man and the sinner?” 19 So, then, let those who are suffering in harmony with the will of God keep on entrusting themselves to a faithful Creator while they are doing good.." (1 Peter 4:17-18)
2 However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you.
These will quietly bring in destructive sects, and they will even disown the owner who bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves. 2 Furthermore, many will follow their brazen conduct, and because of them the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively. 3  Also, they will greedily exploit you with counterfeit words. But their judgment, decided long ago,
is not moving slowly, and their destruction is not sleeping.
4 Certainly God did not refrain from punishing the angels who sinned, but threw them into Tarʹta·rus, putting them in chains*
of dense darkness to be reserved for judgment.5 And he did not refrain from punishing an ancient world,
but kept Noah, a preacher of righteousness, safe with seven others
when he brought a flood upon a world of ungodly people.6  And by reducing the cities of Sodʹom and Go·morʹrah to ashes, he condemned them, setting a pattern for ungodly people of things to come.7 And he rescued righteous Lot, who was greatly distressed by the brazen conduct*
of the lawless people— 8 for day after day that righteous man was tormenting his righteous soul over the lawless deeds that he saw and heard while dwelling among them. 9 So, then, Jehovah knows how to rescue people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrighteous people to be destroyed
on the day of judgment, 10 especially those who seek to defile the flesh of others
and who despise authority. Daring and self-willed, they are not afraid to speak abusively of glorious ones, 11  whereas angels, although they are greater in strength and power, do not bring against them an accusation in abusive terms, out of respect for Jehovah.12 But these men, like unreasoning animals that act on instinct and are born to be caught and destroyed, speak abusively about things of which they are ignorant. They will suffer destruction brought on by their own destructive course, 13 suffering harm as their reward for their own harmful course. They consider it pleasurable to indulge in luxurious living,
even in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes who revel in their deceptive teachings while feasting together with you.
14 Their eyes are full of adultery and are unable to desist from sin, and they entice unstable ones. They have a heart trained in greed. They are accursed children. 15  Abandoning the straight path, they have been led astray. They have followed the path of Baʹlaam the son of Beʹor, who loved the reward of wrongdoing, 16  but was reproved for his own violation of what was right.
A voiceless beast of burden speaking with a human voice hindered the prophet’s mad course. 17 These are waterless springs and mists driven by a violent storm, and the blackest darkness has been reserved for them. 18 They make high-sounding statements that are empty. By appealing to the desires of the flesh and with acts of brazen conduct, they entice people who have just escaped from those who live in error. 19  While they are promising them freedom, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for if anyone is overcome by someone, he is his slave. 20  Certainly if after escaping from the defilements of the world by an accurate knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they get involved again with these very things and are overcome, their final state has become worse for them than the first.21 It would have been better for them not to have accurately known the path of righteousness than after knowing it to turn away from the holy commandment they had received. 22
What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog has returned to its own vomit, and the sow that was bathed to rolling in the mire.” (2 Peter 2:1-22)

    MAN OF LAWLESSNESS
An expression used by the apostle Paul at 2 Thessalonians 2:2, 3 in warning of the greatanti-Christian apostasy that would develop before “the day of Jehovah.” The Greek word for “apostasy” here used, a·po·sta·siʹa, denotes more than a mere falling away, an indifferent sliding back. It means a defection, a revolt, a planned, deliberate rebellion. In ancient papyrus documents a·po·sta·siʹa was used politically of rebels.
A Religious Revolt. This rebellion, however, is not a political one. It is a religious one, a revolt against Jehovah God and Jesus Christ and therefore against the Christian congregation.
Foretold. Other forecasts of this apostasy were made by the apostles Paul and Peter both verbally and in writing, and the Lord Jesus Christ himself warned of its coming. In his illustration of the wheat and the weeds (Mt 13), Jesus said that the Devil would sow “weeds,” imitation Christians, “sons of the wicked one,” among the “wheat,” the “sons of the kingdom.” These would exist until the conclusion of the system of things, when they would be identified and ‘burned up.’
Destroyed. This composite, hypocritical “man of lawlessness” is to be done away with by the Lord Jesus “by the spirit of his mouth” and brought to nothing “by the manifestation of his presence.” The annihilation of this wicked opposer of God will be visible, concrete proof that the Lord Jesus Christ is sitting and acting as Judge. He will not judge according to his own standards, hence the destruction “by the spirit of his mouth” evidently means in expression of Jehovah’s judgment against this wicked class of persons.—2Th 2:8; compare Re 19:21, as to “the long sword . . . which sword proceeded out of his mouth.”
