Jehovah and Jesus knew the time of the END of this system would be difficult. As Satan knows his time is short, And he would encourage bad as much as he can. So we need encouragement daily. I too will miss your perspective on many things. I have shared them with my congregation because they have not seen or thought as you have. That is why there is 8. so many of us, 'unified' not uniformed of a people in this faith. We are all on the same transportation ride to the exact same destination, to eternal life under perfect theocratic sovereignty with Jehovah as One to everyone as he was in the very beginning before Adam sinned. Then each of us can make the choice as they did, do we want to stay, or follow after Satan.
But now we need all of us, really, we do. We have barriers that we have to tear down now, because we are a 'human race' a family belonging to Jehovah God. We have never had to think like that. Truly brothers and sisters common on all levels and loving each other for no other reason than to gain a smile and hug! For no evil will not exist any more after Satan is destroyed. Pray Until Something Happens ! EXPERIENCE WITH JEHOVAH ?
 
 A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly in his dreams his room filled with light and Jehovah appeared. Then Jehovah told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. Then Jehovah explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. 
 
This the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might.
 
Each night the man returned to his cabin sore, and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.
 
Seeing that the man was showing signs of discouragement, the Adversary Satan decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the man's weary mind: "You have been pushing against this rock for a long time, and it hasn't budged. Why kill yourself over this? You are never going to move it." 
 
Thus giving the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man. "Why kill myself over this?" he thought. "I'll just put in my time, giving just the minimum effort and that will be good enough."
 
And that is what he planned to do until one day he decided to make it a matter of prayer and take his troubled thoughts to Jehovah. "Jehovah," he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?"
 
Then Jehovah responded compassionately, "My friend, when I asked you to serve, and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push.
 
And now you come to me, with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? 
 
Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscular, your back sinewy and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, and your legs have become massive and hard. 
 
Through opposition you have grown much and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. Yes, you haven't moved the rock. 
 
But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. This you have done. I, my friend, will now move the rock."
 
At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him....By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves the mountains.
 
When everything seems to go wrong, just P.U.S.H.! W hen the job gets you down, just P.U.S.H.! When people don't react the way you think they should, just P.U.S.H.! When your money is short and the bills are due, just P.U.S.H.! When people just don't understand you, just P.U.S.H.!

Go JTR. Maybe they will get it. I understand you fully and am also aware in the same vein of thoughts. Being the same age as you I also was a CO during the Vietnam War, going to college, instead. Not to Bethel. I left home to grow up and live as an adult. I learn much wisdom and discernment over many decades, but also made various mistakes. Along the way, I saw this organization grow, making growing pain mistakes, as society changed, so did technology and we were either to catch up or get swallowed up by it. I feel like most we are still catching up, trying to clean up a mess made decades ago by judicious men now dead though done in good intentions. Our not being part of this world thing, does not make us invisible or invernerable to what is happening around and to us. 
Samuel, the prophet, while young at the tabernacle, saw the wrongs going on but did not jump ship for he knew who was the head Master overseeing all things. Christ, knew the errors occurring at the temple of his day, called the leaders hypocrites, right? Yet he did not come to right the wrong did he? Jehovah destroyed the temple as Jesus so foretold. If this organization is so off base as Bible history has shown, Jehovah will clean house. No one was ever told to leave. Under wicked king's, those who followed Jehovah served him still, they did not leave. Jehovah removed the king. If the entire nation was wicked, he punished the entire nation, correct? Isn't that what the scriptures show us what Jehovah has done? What makes now any different with those who have the lead over us today?

This was our 'alien contact' from other worlds that people are so into. They came and made many babies, wicked ones at that. And these angels did not stay in one area, that is a misconception. Thinking these creatures who have access to the unlimitedlessness of the universe would cage themselves to a particular area of this teeny tiny planet? They took their wives and their families to rule over, dominate have them worship them as gods. Each one in whichever land area they ended up; that is why the flood was a global event. Ever thought this way? Hmmmmm???????

I have wondered why this topic has such blow back. We victims or those who commit the acts , on this forum are neither served either way. In reality, the elders, are not policemen, when they are confronted with abuse, they must have a confession from the one who,has committed the deed, the one affected should take the matter to the secular authorities. A child should have the power to be listened to by these authorities and have the one who has done this to them brought to justice. The opportunity that a child could in fact lie, is there, but there should be the ear for the child other than parents or the elders. Ones who,would have the authority to move on what the child has stated has occurred. I did in fact take it to the secular authorities after telling my parents, and he was both arrested and removed from his office. Yes, they wanted it done another way, but my father wanted him dead also. This way saved that person life and my father's. And my own sanity! I didn't go into a hole to hide. I also,did not wait on those I realized could help me.

Why you want this is your business, not ours. If any one will gossip then they are no better than you, really. Your beef was the same I had with Jehovah himself for the death of my father because the system had not come yet. I was so pissed. But why was I angry? My father erased his debt of sin by his death and will awaken at the hearing of Christ voice during the resurrection. Also why would I want him to extend his life here, suffering with cancer, wasting away in pain truly not living, when Jehovah has promised a life so much better. Think of what you are saying. What mediators? They are just guides, showing us that path Jesus told us to take that would lead to eternal life. I want to stay on it because in Jehovah's love I will be able to see both of my parents again.
 When Jesus choose the apostle's, they were not perfect, fussing and arguing most of the time. Peter was headstrong thinking he was all that, but when the stick hit the fire, he denied his Lord and Master 3 times, how do you feel he felt when he caught eye to eye contact with Jesus when that cock crowed?
 Those who have the responsibility the same as those apostle's then, have to watch over us, make mistakes do we grumble, point out those mistakes and cry foul wanting to leave? Leave where? Their mistakes points us to what better place? Judas betrayed Jesus, did the others leave due to his mistake? Peter denied Jesus, did the others deny him when Jesus himself forgave him and Peter went on to serve faithfully till his death?  And when the Gentiles became part of the congregation, there were many new changes, for Paul had to set standards to meeting arrangements. As we grow, diverse with different cultures and continue to love one another as a true brotherhood, we will find we will change. If God's Word is alive should not his organization be also, vibrant with ones different but the same in our worship of Jehovah? 
Would not want you to go based on what you are saying, but do not stay either. Make up your mind and heart, it is Jehovah we are serving, so should you. And it's in his love we want to be. That is the road that leads to life. Any other will not get you there. It's a tributary leading off into destruction. I know been there and back. I can said from first hand experience. But that is just toasty. We are all going to heaven. Crap. I'm not going to play with my lions and snakes. What was just said made no sense. None. How can a great crowd, one in power not number go also to heaven, when scripture states Jehovah does not speak just to be talking. His word does not return without results? What happened to his creating mankind to live on this planet, he just threw it away and wants us all to come to float on clouds in heaven with him? To be Angels, since we can't all be kings and priests, correct? 
Does not what was said sound like baloney? How was the same heavenly hope set out for the great crowd, err, "one of the earthly courtyards of his spiritual temple" that sounds like something from a church pulpit. Double talk that makes no sense. Has no scriptural basis, but it sounds good. But untrue. A lie for real. Yes, a falsehood, not the truth. The presentation was shiny but it lacked the sugar to captivate ones heart who is truly seeking the truth. For when you asked the deep questions across the spectrum, you find the holes covered by the plaster and it comes up lacking. Much like the political machinations being spewed across the television screen nowadays.

Why didn't Jesus spend his time curing and healing those in need while he was here? He had the power and time. His time and efforts were turned elsewhere,correct? Our hope is life under the Kingdom, for permanent relief. Eternally!

He even gave a set of them to school principle. He wrote a hand written note on how the books can help with problems they may face in Junior High.

We will never know the number, because Jehovah will never stop,crating them. He will never stop working so the number will keep,growing. A number with and infinite number of zeroes behind it, and Jehovah will never come up with Alzheimer's and begin to forget where he placed those galaxies and stars names and where we are and the other life forms he will create. Hey, matthew9969, do you even know why this is going on? I was around those 15,20 years ago. We did not dance in the halls. UNLESS, there was a celebration there, a function other than a spiritual meeting. So I ask again do you know why we went crazy in our different hall in certain cities, at that time? If not please try not to hate. The principles have not changed. We put on plays and had certain skits for ones during there weddings and anniversaries. To have clean fun and used WORLDLY MUSIC, as you put. We are not the Amish, or did Jesus send us to the outskirts of the cities to live. We also do not only live among ourselves. We love still among this world. But we must live cleanly midst it. Sorry that you found your live drab and dreary. But I went through '75 and the Franz disfellowshipping and the other shake ups in congregational matters. But I put myself through college, my father taught us the truth per scripture, we did not sell everything we continued to wait on Jehovah and follow the leaders that took the reins of leadership. If they are taking us down the wrong knowingly, like Eli allowed his sons to do whatever they wanted, Jehovah and Christ will clean things up, Samuel did not cry and wanted to go back home to mommie. He stayed because he knew whose organization this was, I was taught the very same thing. I taught my children the very same thing!
