  1. Who are the "righteous" elders at the UK JW Branch Office or NY JW.org headquarters that are sanctioning the behaviour of these committees. And we KNOW that these incidents are handled at the highest levels within CCJW service and legal department. True JW's need to vote with their donations and demand real change. Warwick will get the message FAST!
  2. Such compassion and love shown by a member of the Faithful and DISCREET slave during the Coronavirus outbreak..... Jesus would surely be proud Tony....
  3. How many of you now will go back and join this psycopath after this quarantine is over?
  4. fmc4c6.mp4 Faithful and DISCREET? slave?,,,,, Jesus as described in the Bible has compassion for his fellow man including evil doers and unbelievers.
  5. In their November 2017 JW Broadcasting, Gary Breaux (Helper to the Governing Body) affirms that the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses will NEVER change their "two witness" rule.
  6. I wonder how much ice cream money went into this and who decided to spend it thus instead of saving someone from dying in agony... A report like this is easy to purchase. The authors have no morals or credibility and the 'report' was built off a set of required talking points provided by the watchtower. The very fact that they spent an massive pile of ice cream money on something completely non-binding means they are mortified of the possibility that the Dutch report will cause a massive Exodus. He was even interviewed by JW.ORG and you can download the video here: https://www.jw.org/en/news/legal/by-region/russia/dr-massimo-introvigne-interview/ Here is a PDF as another source All they had to do was use one of their own college educated scholars to write on their behalf! Oh wait...

  8. Yes. If you consider your family member to be “dead” based on the whim of 3 flawed men who have about as much divine guidance as a bag of bricks... Citrus Heights, California congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses
  9. The crime here, in essence, is like telling your kids not to have snacks before dinner, but they steal a couple cookies from the cookie jar. And for that, you are incensed by their disobedience and kick them out of your house, change the locks, and discontinue their health insurance. For the minor infraction of eating a cookie that daddy told you not to and daddy’s ego can’t take that. You have to suffer. Badly. #Adam #AdamandEve #Eve #Satan
  10. *** w83 7/15 p. 30 Watch Out for This Deceiver! *** Is such emptying of the mind healthy? One practicer reports that during one extended period of exercise and meditation, he felt frequent attacks by invisible forces. The demons can take advantage of a mind that is empty and fill it with their own thoughts. (Luke 11:24-26) So beware! This practice could make you their prey. Well there you go, according to Luke and the Watchtower, you're guaranteed to be possessed by 8 demons if the thought content of your brain gets too close to null. Because you know ... reality. due to yoga's roots in Hinduism and Buddhism. Here's an interesting BBC article on this topic! It talks about various religion's thoughts on yoga in different countries, to include some legislation debating if yoga is ok to teach in schools. "Does doing yoga make you a Hindu?" https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-25006926
  11. McCarrick was defrocked in February after he was found guilty of soliciting sex during confession and committing “sins” with minors and adults. “I’m not as bad as they paint me,” McCarrick told Slate’s Ruth Graham earlier this year in his only public comments on the issue. “I do not believe that I did the things that they accused me of.” He also said that he believe his accusers “were encouraged” to lie. The Vatican is set to release a report in the next few months that will look into how it handled the allegations against McCarrick over the years.
  12. Former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick appears to have been a fan of handing out money to other powerful leaders in the Catholic Church. Over the years, the disgraced cardinal, who was defrocked for sexual abuse, sent checks worth more than $600,000 to clerics, including two popes, according to the Washington Post. There were more than 100 beneficiaries to McCarrick’s largesse over the years, including several who were directly involved in evaluating misconduct allegations against McCarrick. Much of the money came from a special fund at the Archdiocese of Washington, where he was archbishop from 2001 to 2006, that allowed him to take money from wealthy donors and spend it pretty much at will without oversight from church officials. Pope John Paul II got $90,000 between 2001 and 2005 while Pope Benedict XVI received $291,000, including a $250,000 check a month after he became pope. Overall, McCarrick sent almost 200 checks to fellow clerics, including more than 60 to archbishops and cardinals. Those who received the checks insist there was nothing improper about the money and had no effect on their decisions about McCarrick. But the money raises fresh questions considering there has always been an air of mystery around how someone who faced frequent accusations of misconduct was able to rise so high in the church and stay there for years. It seems at least some of the donors were surprised to hear where their money was going, with one saying he thought the donations would go to the needy, not to other clerics. McCarrick was able to raise more than $6 million over 17 years, including at least $450,000 from Maryanne Trump Barry, President Donald Trump’s sister and a former federal appellate judge. 13. I've been out for awhile... but I hear of many current JW's referring to themselves as part of some "Hailstone Message". Can someone clarify what it is they mean?
  14. Imitate King David? Really? Sex slaves and murdering fool... slicing off foreskins of 200 Philistines just for a wife? Maybe someone needs to revaluate who they are actually "Imitating"....
  15. Take David for example. He is always used as an example by JW’s of God’s forgiveness. I was under the impression for all of my life that he was forgiven for one sin, one murder, Bathsheba’s husband, But what I had never even heard of until I left the religion and what wasn’t even considered murder according to the bible during that time was in 1 Samuel 18:27 where David killed 200 hundred Philistines in battle and brought their foreskins back to king Saul so he could marry his daughter. That apparently was okay! And here were are today, where if someone joins the military or wants to become a police officer they get disfellowshipped! They are expected to die in prison rather then do military training. David cuts foreskins off people for a wife and he’s one of the greatest examples of faith in the bible! Then if you consider the fact that if someone doesn’t spend enough time in service each month they have to wonder if god will kill them in Armageddon! Crazy - Contributed Not only that ... he was a Pedophile.... no wonder JW's adore him and "imitate his faith".... Check out how old Abishag was. According to Jewish tradition she was under the age of 14! Nothing happened tho according to scripture, David was probably suffering with penile dysfunction, can't be King if he's not able to perform! Bet Abishag was given a list of things to do to help with his problem!
  16. If It is really painted in a negative light he would never allow one of his kings to ignore his will and receive many blessings... "Wives and concubines" is a pseudonym for sex slaves. Just like he "tolerated" slavery.
  17. Rutherford was known for excessive use of alcohol, even printing an article against the prohibition in the Watchtower 1924 Nov 1 pp.323-326. Olin Moyle worked as legal counsel for Jehovah's Witnesses during the time of Rutherford. After writing a letter of complaint to Rutherford over issues within Bethel, including Rutherford's excessive drinking and extravagance, Moyle resigned from the position. A court case ensued, described in the Watchtower's publication Consolation 1944 Dec 20 p.21.
  18. Rutherford wished to be buried at either Beth-Sarim or Beth-Shan. On Rutherford's death Knorr and the Watchtower Society went to court in an attempt to have Rutherford buried at Beth-Sarim. As shown in the Consolation 1942 May 27 insertion below, this was to do with Rutherford's fanciful belief in the return of the "the King of the East" to Beth-Sarim and his need to face "the rising sun" upon that return. Knorr lost the case, but his action postponed Rutherford's burial for three and a half months after he died.
  19. Despite failures in predicting the outcomes of 1914 and 1925, Rutherford continued insisting that the earthly resurrection was about to happen. In 1929, he pushed for the purchase of Beth-Sarim, a house for Abraham, Daniel and other resurrected Biblical Princes to live in once resurrected. Concerning Beth-Sarim, the book Salvation explains: "At San Diego, California, there is a small piece of land, on which, in the year 1929, there was built a house, which is called and known as Beth-Sarim. The Hebrew words Beth Sarim mean "House of the Princes"; and the purpose of acquiring that property and building the house was that there might be some tangible proof that there are those on earth today who fully believe God and Christ Jesus and in His kingdom, and who believe that the faithful men of old will soon be resurrected by the Lord, be back on earth, and take charge of the visible affairs of earth. The title to Beth-Sarim is vested in the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society in trust, to be used by the president of the Society and his assistants for the present, and thereafter to be forever at the disposal of the aforementioned princes on earth. . . . while the unbelievers have mocked concerning it and spoken contemptuously of it, yet it stands there as a testimony to Jehovah's name; and if and when the princes do return and some of them occupy the property, such will be a confirmation of the faith and hope that induced the building of Beth-Sarim." Salvation (1939) p.311 The Golden Age 1930 included a copy of the Beth-Sarim deed, showing who was expected to take possession of it. In 1942 the 'House of Princes' was sold, proving false the statement that it would be "perpetually" and "forever at the disposal of the aforementioned princes." Why did the Watchtower board of directors decide to sell Beth-Sarim? The Watchtower 1947 December 15 explained: There is very little mention of Beth-Sarim since 1950. In a 1992 Watchtower article, it is referred to in the life story of Sandra Cowan. She relates; Though the Consolation discusses Beth-Sarim in regards to Rutherford's desire to be buried there, the property deed read similar to that of Beth-Sarim; It appears that Beth-Shan had a threefold purpose; to house the princes, to be a burial place for Rutherford and to provide protection during Armageddon. Word spread that a bomb shelter was built at Beth-Shan. This was adamantly denied in a 1940 Watchtower. The reliability of the Watchtower report is questionable, as it claimed the rumor was about Beth-Sarim, not Beth-Shan, hence avoiding answering whether or not Beth-Shan contained a bomb shelter. Watchtower's history book, Jehovah's Witnesses - Proclaimers of God's Kingdom, briefly discusses Beth-Sarim, where it is also made to appear to have been purchased predominantly for the health of Rutherford. These descriptions may not be far from the truth. Rutherford summered in Europe and wintered at Beth-Sarim. During the Great Depression he owned two luxury Cadillac's. Whilst it is possible Rutherford believed his own teaching that the end was going to arrive in his life time, the purchase of Beth-Sarim was as much for his own benefit as that of the resurrected princes.
