Peter Carroll got a reaction from BroRando in “Yahweh” or “Jehovah”?
Looking deeper into grammar, Jehovah is in the causative form, the imperfect state, of the Hebrew verb הוה (ha·wah′, “to become”). Therefore, does not mean “I am”, or “He is . . . (something, like love or mercy),” but rather “He Causes to Become.” the more accurate translation of the Divine Name is “I shall prove to be what I shall prove to be”. This reveals Jehovah as the One who, with progressive action, causes himself to become the Fulfiller of promises, the One who always brings his purposes to realization. In order to accomplish his purpose for mankind, he can become whatever he pleases, filling whatever role is needed.
As an example: Think of a parent caring for their child. If the child gets hurt in some way, the parent acts as a nurse. If the child is hungry, the parent becomes a cook, when it comes to learning, a teacher. The parent becomes what he or she needs to be according to the need that arises.
Where Else Is Jehovah Used?
The name Jehovah is not limited to the Bible. It occurs twice in the Book of Mormon, it can be seen in many churches as יהוה, and in many famous paintings and writings.

Peter Carroll got a reaction from Moise Racette in Rebuttal to Revelation Trumpets
Jesus warned the disciples concerning the final days in Matthew 24:10–12: “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” These are the characteristics of the great apostasy of the end times.

Peter Carroll reacted to Witness in Daily Text for October 8, 2022
How does truth turn in to a lie? It happens gradually by “adjusting” facets of it, bit by bit, drawing little attention to the change. Eventually, as time passes, it is good to go - to be packaged and sold as “truth”.
Daily text, October 8, 2022:
The body is one but has many members.—1 Cor. 12:12.
What a privilege we have to be part of Jehovah’s congregation! We are in a spiritual paradise that is full of peaceful, happy people. What is your place in the congregation? The apostle Paul compared the congregation to the human body. He also compared the individuals in a congregation to parts of the body. (Rom. 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:12-27; Eph. 4:16) One lesson we can learn from Paul’s illustration is that each one of us has an important place in Jehovah’s family. Paul begins his illustration by saying: “Just as we have in one body many members, but the members do not all have the same function, so we, although many, are one body in union with Christ, but individually we are members belonging to one another.” (Rom. 12:4, 5) What was Paul’s point? Each one of us has a different role in the congregation, but each one of us is valuable. w 20/08/20
The Body of Christ is taught as including all JWs; but compare this to previous teachings:
Questions from readers, 1964/8/1 = His body members are also anointed with Jehovah’s spirit at the time of their being begotten by Jehovah to be sons of God. They become members of the body of Christ, the Anointed One.—2 Cor. 1:21, 22.
The same scriptures from 2 Cor. are found in the Daily Text, but this is saying all members of the Body of Christ are anointed.
W 1956/1/15 55-56 - “Because there is one loaf, we, although many, are one body, for we are all partaking [eating] of that one loaf.” (1 Cor. 10:17, NW) To which body does Paul here refer by the words “one body”? Not to the personal, fleshly body of Jesus which is symbolized by the loaf of unleavened bread. No, but to the entire congregation of spiritual Israelites of which Jesus Christ is the spiritual Head. This congregation under him is later spoken of in this same letter of Paul as Christ’s body: “Now you are Christ’s body, and members individually. And God has set the respective ones in the congregation.”—1 Cor. 12:27, 28, NW.
Again, another set of scriptures are repeated, but referring only to the anointed of “Israel”, not to all JWs..
Wt 1951/1/16 p. 60-61 “Memorial partakers must keep clearly in mind that they are “Christ’s body”, symbolized by the one loaf, and consequently they must keep unity as “one body”. We must have a “proper sense of the Body”, sensing our personal unity with the Head Jesus Christ. If we do not, then we will become spiritually “weak and sickly” and even be “sleeping in death”, as many of the Corinthians did back there.”
The Body of Christ is the spiritual Temple of God. (John 2:19,21) Now that this has all changed, proper sense has flown out the window. Does this mean that all JWs will be partaking soon at your memorial? Does it mean you are all the Bride of Christ? (2 Cor 11:2) Does it mean that you are all priests in the spiritual Temple of God? (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16)
Why has truth in the Watchtower about the anointed as the Body of Christ, been altered, fully changed into a lie? Why didn’t they leave well enough alone? If all JWs are considered the “Body of Christ” today, then selling their doctrine that all JWs comprise the Temple of God is easy, and it promotes the false doctrine that the “man of lawlessness”, who is found sitting in the temple of God” (2 Thess 2:4) is found in the world of politics; and it leaves room for Wt. to point to the persecution of JWs, received at the hands of political rulers.
If the GB must promote a changed doctrine from what was true to what is false, we must ask WHY.
This is why – “Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. (1914) 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”
The priests are “living stones” of God’s Temple. JWs not anointed, are not included. (1 Pet 2:5,9)
Who has taken his seat in the Temple dwelling of God in the anointed ones? (1 Cor 3:16,17) The elder body who “represent the anointed priesthood”. Can any of you tell me a time in biblical history when the priesthood has been allowed by God to be subjugated by “foreigners” – those not anointed? Ezek 44:6-9
The gradual teachings where truth was evident but is now erased, was prophesied to happen in the last days. A “false prophet” and the organization it directs (the collective elder body as the "Beast") are demon inspired. (Rev 13:1,2,11,12) Wt.’s teachings have changed over the years; not one JW who has been in the organization for a number of years, can deny it. This gradual change is defined in Rev 16:13-16. It gives us the illustration of a tadpole turning into a frog through various stages, and we have the scriptural example of what “frogs” can mean – a plague. (Exod 8:1-4; Rev 6:8; 9:18)
Ultimately, the teaching about the Body of Christ has changed to disguise the identity of the “man of lawlessness”. The elders “stand where they don’t belong”.(Mark 13:14) The scriptures CLEARLY show us the detrimental folly of replacing the priests of God. (Num 18:7) If you stay in the organization, you are playing with fire – the condemnation of the word of God. (Jer 23:29) While you are all worried about the “apostates” outside of the organization, your greatest worry, is being found among them in the organization. (2 Thess 2:8-12; Rev 18:4-8)
Matt 24:15,16 - “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.”
Check Wt’s Greek Interlinear and you will find that it is translated “having stood in place holy the one”. In order to add credence to a false doctrine, your Bible has it translated as, “standing in a holy place”. This makes it easy for your leaders to point to any church, any “holy place” they want, to say that is where the “man of lawlessness” is found, when all the while the elders have trampled the Temple priesthood. They have trampled down the sanctuary of God. (Dan 11:31,32,36; Rev 11:1,2)
What is “the holy place”? The Bible defines it in Exod 28:43. Why haven’t they told you the same?
Matt 24:24,25

this is more about debating the timing of events and the confusion around armaggedon ,a deep topic few understand
as can be seen by all the blockbuster movies made on the subject
the debate
which so far has been aruna debating bro rando on his postion ,has shown one thing
unfortunatly for aruna ,her postion lacks substance as she has failed to quote one scripture to support the debate
as in the case of bre rando there are mulitple scriptures to read
just based on that alone bro rando has a much more convincing position
as bible students all would acknowledge

You are supposed to know it:
Revelation 19: 19 onward " And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the one seated on the horse and against his army.+ 20 And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet+ that performed in front of it the signs with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast+ and those who worship its image.+ While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulfur.+ 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword that proceeded out of the mouth of the one seated on the horse.+ And all the birds were filled with their flesh."
1Sam 17: 46 " This very day Jehovah will surrender you into my hand,+ and I will strike you down and cut off your head; and on this day I will give the corpses of the camp of the Phi·lisʹtines to the birds of the heavens and to the wild beasts of the earth; and people of all the earth will know that there is a God in Israel."
Birds of prey is a symbolic way of saying: real living corpses that can be eaten - meaning literal death.
Jer 7: 33
"And the dead bodies of this people will become food for the birds of the heavens and for the beasts of the earth, with no one to frighten them away".
These are figurative depictions of literal events that will take place = people will lose their lives and be viewed as eaten by unclean birds.

indeed a common problem in humankind ,in the bible and today ,is we like to see a sign ,to have it proven it to be so,as if Jehovah has to justify himself, that would mean those are putting the creator to the test by wanting evidence of armaggdeon are not putting faith in the proof already in the bible
Have we seen an increase in “pestilences” and “food shortages” since 1914, as Jesus Christ foretold as part of the visible “sign” of his second presence? (Luke 21:11)
and as for wars
there were many wars in the first century with rome constantly engaged in some conflict to maintain its power which verifies the advice here ,written in that time
After foretelling those things, Jesus added: “All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.” (Matt. 24:8) As far as they had a connection with Jerusalem, they were a beginning of distress pangs for her and the province of Judea. But they did not mean the immediate end of the holy city and the desolation of Judea. But the fact that those things were at least the beginning of distress pangs for Jerusalem should have been enough to stir the Christians to greater activity, instead of relaxing and taking it easy because “the end is not yet.” (Matt. 24:6; 5:35) There was an extensive work to do, and this required great effort and persistence in spite of religious persecution. So, in Mt 24 verses 9-13 Jesus went on to warn his apostles of the coming persecution by Jews and Gentiles and of the increase of lawlessness and of the need of Christian endurance, and then he added: “And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.”—Matt. 24:14.
this is almost like it was written in 2022 ,ie it is timely words to act upon

By 1889, Jehovah’s anointed ones, as 19th-century light bearers, had already received correction on the matter of Christ’s return. In Volume 2 of Studies in the Scriptures, pages 158 to 161, Charles T. Russell, the first president of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, wrote: “Parousia . . . signifies presence, and should never be translated coming, as in the common English Bible . . . The ‘Emphatic Diaglott,’ a very valuable translation of the New Testament, renders parousia properly, presence . . . , not that of coming, as being on the way, but presence, as after arrival [Jesus] says, ‘As the days of Noah, so shall also the parousia [presence] of the Son of man be.’ Notice, that the comparison is not between the coming of Noah and the coming of our Lord . . . The contrast, then, is between the time of the presence of Noah among the people ‘before the flood,’ and the time of the presence of Christ in the world, at his second advent, ‘before the fire’—the extreme trouble of the Day of the Lord [Jehovah] with which this age ends.”—Matthew 24:37.
both noah and lot in differant times set up the pattern of the way things would develop ,both were present throughout the events that surrounded them ,so the same pattern of events are occuring with the INVISIBLE kingly presence of jesus today

Peter Carroll reacted to BroRando in Armageddon comes in two phases...
Since the Last Days of 1914 are in reference to Satan's System of things... then the Birth Pains represent a New System of things being ushered in. Those on the outside will not be able to escape the destruction.
The period of time leading up to the end of the system of things, or state of affairs, dominated by Satan. It runs concurrently with Christ’s presence. Under the direction of Jesus, angels will “separate the wicked from among the righteous” and destroy them. (Mt 13:40-42, 49) Jesus’ disciples were interested in the timing of that “conclusion.” (Mt 24:3) Before his return to heaven, he promised his followers that he would be with them until that time.—Mt 28:20.
Armageddon is spiritual and commences when Jesus and angels will “separate the wicked from among the righteous” and destroy them. (Mt 13:40-42, 49)
It took Jesus a period of 40 years to remove unfaithful Israel from the living and lay them in the dust and during this time, they were well fed and their clothes did not even wear out. Yet, they did not know that they were being destroyed. "Neither be murmurers, as some of them murmured, only to perish by the destroyer." (1 Cor 10:10)
Now after the 1,000 years, the scriptures state, "Now as soon as the 1,000 years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison, and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Maʹgog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea. And they advanced over the whole earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and consumed them." (Rev 20:7-9)
Now that's LITERAL. The same ones that think Armageddon is Literal and flesh will fall off the bone and the wicked will simply melt away in a literal fire will be claiming Jehovah's Day is delaying. But such ones are in danger of being destroyed also. For them, they have "No Faith".
‘But my righteous one will live by reason of faith,’ and, ‘if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.’” (Hebrews 10:36-38) If Armageddon is literal from the start, then faith would not be needed to be exercised.
