I get your point.... this video I just saw on FB says something similar... BUT what can a person do? Stop shopping altogether? Maybe this is why Jesus said it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. This topic makes one reconsider MANY things:

How can I get comments for watchtower study pictures?
The Librarian replied to She's topic in Jehovah’s Witnesses's Topics
I think you would have to post the picture... the source ... and then ALSO offer your opinion about the picture. Maybe someone else might comment on that picture as well? -

¿Que piensa Jehová de los inmigrantes?
The Librarian replied to a topic in Testigos de Jehová's Tema
Interesante. -
I see most are closed right now... but I have seen some open recently at 6pm on Thanksgiving.. (sort of a Black Friday headstart) Anybody know of a list of major retailers that are actually open right now? JC Penney opens at 2pm today. Wal Mart closes at 6pm today. I guess I was wondering if Best Buy is open today until when..... 😉

The answer is no. Jehovah's WItnesses do not celebrate Thanksgiving. Although to be fair ... I have been to MANY witness gatherings where Turkey was served on Thanksgiving get togethers and we all snickered about actually having Turkey on Thanksgiving. I imagine Bethel makes a strict rule about NOT having Turkey on "Turkey Day" however. JW.org recently published an article stating the same.
