  1. I just saw and approved your request in this club: Sorry about the delay.
  2. (Haʹzor) [Courtyard; Settlement]. In just a few more minutes into this video you will see Archaeologist Eric Cline mention the ruins and invaders of Hazor including Joshua The chief city of northern Canaan at the time of Israel’s conquest under Joshua. (Jos 11:10) Hazor has been identified with Tell el-Qedah (Tel Hazor) located about 11 km (7 mi) SSE of the suggested site of Kedesh. According to archaeologist Yigael Yadin, under whose direction excavations were carried out at the site from 1955 to 1958 and 1968 to 1969, the Hazor of Joshua’s time covered an area of approximately 60 ha (150 acres) and could have accommodated from 25,000 to 30,000 inhabitants.
  3. I would consider that animal cruelty.... however... remember that the cheeseburger I just ate was from a cow that was just minding his own business and chewing his cud not even a few days ago. Korea and other countries actually have dog markets where dog is a delicacy. As the world gets poorer, more desperate and hungry I think we shall see a lot more of this.
  4. I am sad to report that I honestly do not know if they own any bitcoin. Seems like it would be the perfect, untouchable asset for them to hold globally on each continent wherever the Governing Body meets being the HQ. 9,000,000 witnesses x (any given amount of Bitcoin) = one wealthy organization given a small amount of time. All based on the Laws of Mathematics, the Law of Large numbers securing the Bitcoin network and coding.... science.... Historically the Society has been at the forefront of technological change. It would not surprise me if they have cold storage wallets duplicated around the globe already that they just don't speak about publicly.
  5. Scripture does not discuss his stature; just that he was a ‘mighty hunter before the Lord’. (Some speculate that he was hunting people, not animals.) Genesis 10 .......8 Cush was the father c of Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in d Shinar. e 11 From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, f Calah 12 and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah—which is the great city.
  6. What do you think of this statement? "Hyper-oxygenated air; the world was like a hyperbaric chamber, everything lived longer because of the air quality. We know this because we have air samples from before the flood; extracted from bubbles trapped in fossilized sap (amber). Adam lived until he was 930. Noah was 600 when he built the Ark" She is suggesting that we lived so much longer due to the heightened levels of oxygen available during the Pre-flood era. Later it was said that this oxygen bound to hydrogen to create the oceans of water around us.
  7. Tsunami waves crushed and buried everything. The minerals in the mud seeped into the tissues of the plants and animals and fossilized them. The Great Flood is the only reason why fossils exist. You don’t think this tree grew through ‘billions of years of rock’ do you? The sediment compressed under billions of tons of water, solidified and became stone.
  8. Eve was not astounded that a serpent was talking to her, and she talked back to it.
  9. According to the Bible there were no carnivores before the flood and animals did not fear us.
  10. This is the ancient Chinese word for 'boat’. The number 8 is for the 8 people that were on the ark. Stories about the flood have been found in every every ancient culture around the world Anyone have any other examples?
  11. A beautiful vineyard, grapes, harvesting season and seeing three beautiful young women sing beautiful folk songs in a language that I don't understand from a distant part of the Earth just made my morning... thank you. Makes me somehow long for simpler times and places. The thought of Paradise comes to mind... imagine if these girls never had to worry about growing old and they didn't have a need for building out huge cities.... Just a simple, happy life of travelling a little, making wine and cheeses while spreading joy.
  12. This was my father's favorite subject, topic and public talk back in the day. 😁 Thanks for sharing!
  13. Thank you for letting us know about it @bruceq Bruce Quimby. I'm sure I'll enjoy the read.
  14. I find it interesting the "Space race" with the Communists (KON) turned out to be China and not Russia. I probably should be thinking of them as a bloc rather than and individual nation (King)
  15. I'm just waiting for @TrueTomHarley's inevitable "Lake of Fire" joke. 😁 Or @JW Insider's classic puns.... like..... "That's a hell of a problem there!" or something similar. LOL
  16. i have a joke about nihilism, but i guess it doesn't matter
  17. I suspect you won't be able to unless you involve your local body of elders. Sorry for the long delay in responding.
