The Librarian got a reaction from Martha Braun Amistadi in The quokka may be the cutest animal you’ve never heard of....
The quokka may be the cutest animal you’ve never heard of. They’re found only in the southwestern part of Australia where there are only about 20,000 in the wild. The quokka is about the size of a cat or rabbit, with a long skinny tail that sometimes get the quokka mistaken for a rat. But once you see their big black noses and smiling mouths you won’t think quokkas look ratty at all. Quokkas are actually more closely related to Australia’s famous animal the kangaroo. Quokkas, especially the ones on Rottnest Island, aren’t afraid of people. In fact they often come right up to people or visit cafes and campsites looking for free meals. Unfortunately human food doesn’t agree with quokkas so there are rules against feeding them. The best food for a quokka is plants – they actually get most of their water from eating leaves and grasses, which helps them survive Australia’s often very dry weather. A quokka can even go months without drinking water. The main reason for the quokka’s extreme cuteness is its face, with that little smile that makes them seem super-happy. That may just be the way the quokka’s mouth is shaped though. Quokkas also open their mouths to pant, like dogs, when they get hot, which sometimes look like the quokka is giving us a big smile. Whatever the reason it’s a smile that’s hard to resist!

Let's keep it positive. No Judging. Disfellowshipping is used less and less nowadays for bad music choices and brothers are seen very often in "bar and grills' whereas the world you talk about was much more black and white.
Envision a new JW.org where we don't judge others based on personal matters.
Imagine...Bro. Prince and King David together, playing praises to Jehovah in the resurrection!

The Librarian got a reaction from Queen Esther in Kingdom Hall - Poem
No tongue have I, nor mouth, nor lip, a speech I cannot make
But if I could, the things I'd say, would long, long hours take!
For I was born to fill a need, in answer to a callAnd those who brought me forth to live, have named me Kingdom Hall.
So I've a royal name you see, and royal was my birthI'm here for service to a King, I hope I prove my worth!
I want so much to be just right. To suit the need I fillTo aid in service of Kingdom Truth, to people of good will
Oh give me lips and mouth and tongue, and let me tell to all,The reason why I'm standing here, why I'm called a Kingdom Hall
But what's a Kingdom Hall you ask? You mean you haven't heard? Why I'm the place where all may come, and freely learn God's word
No, I'm no church, don't get me wrong, I have no pews or steepleAnd never will collection plates be used to milk the people
The things you'll hear within my walls will not be false traditionYou'll never hear that Hell is hot, for that's a contradiction!
Nor will the pagan idea of God, who's three in oneEver be preached beneath my roof; such doctrines you should shun
But rather, here inside my doors you'll learn things reliableBecause they'll be taken from a truthful source, God's word, the Holy Bible!
You'll learn how Jehovah God intends to rid the earth of all it's woes;Destroy it's sorrow, sin and death; all mankind's deadly foes
Then in their place will blossom forth, a world of truth and loveAn earth where God's will shall be done; just as in heaven above
There'll be no sickness, pain or death, no tear to mar the smileNo one will then bring grief and strife; no Devil will beguile
But those who live in the new system will humbly bow the kneeBefore Jehovah God who reigns in Grand Supremacy
This is part of what you'll hear within these walls of mineBut more than that you'll learn just how to make this light to shine!
And that's the point I want to stress, which may seem rather oddThat I'm not built just as a place in which to worship God
So here it is you'll learn of Jehovah God; to know what is his willTo learn what he requires of you, his laws how to fulfill
To worship God means more than sit and listen to God's wordIt means to act; to serve; to preach, to all who have not heard
Outside my doors, amidst the world, you must hold forth the lightYou must apply what you here learn, to worship God aright
How great my joy I want to shout; My privelege is so rareYou other buildings of the earth, cannot with me compare
If I could speak, I'd raise my voice and make all buildings knowThat my importance excels theirs, for from me truth will flow
So listen, All you structures proud, you giants of steel and stoneYour tops may scrape a scuddling cloud or soar where Eagles have flown
Your cornerstone may have been laid by worldly men of fameBut you can not boast, That you've been made to praise Jehovah's name!!!

the Work PT. 1
Every time I watch the other people news
I c a false picture of myself, another one of u
They try 2 tell us what we want, what 2 believe
Didn't that happen in the Garden
When somebody spoke 2 Eve?
But I'm willing 2 do The Work
Willing 2 do what I gotta do
I'm willing 2 do The Work
Tell me now - what about u?
Look around and tell me ur Sun is Risen
When ur brothers and sisters r in the Fall
What is left 2 give when r work is done?
What do we own besides the right 2 crawl?
C we're living in a system that the devil designed
And suffering from this devil's most heinous crime
He's tried 2 keep us from the reason we were born
That is 2 b the living truth in human 4m
But I'm willing 2 do The Work
Willing 2 do what I gotta do
I'm willing 2 do The Work
Tell me now - what about u?
This work is not an easy task
But this is the work we must do 4 Revelation 2 come 2 pass
This work is the kind that turns ur back on the Ruling Class
By putting them in their place just like the past
Taste it, ain't it sweet sweet?
Gotta lotta work 2 do
Taste it, ain't it sweet sweet?
Gotta lotta work 2 do
Nothing can stop us
Whatever's in r way
We got 2 go thru it 2 get 2 it
I heard somebody say,
I'm willing 2 do The Work
Willing 2 do what I gotta do
I'm willing 2 do The Work
Tell me now - what about u?
Thank u

The Librarian got a reaction from Martha Braun Amistadi in Jehovah's Witness Church Release Statement Over Prince's Death, Says He 'Found Fulfillment Sharing His Faith With Others'
The Jehovah's Witness Church has released a statement following the untimely death of Prince, who officially converted to the religion in 2003.
"We are saddened to hear about the death of Prince Rogers Nelson, who was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2003," the church said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
The church said that Prince "found fulfillment as a Witness and in sharing his faith with others."
The statement added: "We do not have any details regarding his medical condition or the cause of his death. Our thoughts are with his family and friends, particularly his fellow worshippers in the Saint Louis Park congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Minnesota. We hope that all find comfort in the Bible’s promise of a future time when death, pain, and tears will be no more.—Revelation 21:3, 4."

The Librarian got a reaction from Queen Esther in Inside Prince's Kingdom Hall
They say Prince was a 'spiritual man' who very strongly believed in the church's message
However they do not keep his photo inside so as not to glorify an individual
A couple in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, opened their door in 2003 to find Prince standing on their doorstep with a Bible
The 81-year-old said of the deceased singer: ‘Prince was a publisher with good standing here in our congregation. He was active, he shared in the ministry every month.
‘We didn’t see him very often because he was away all the time, but he did attend the memorial of Christ’s death on March 23 here, he brought some of his band members with him.
‘He was a spiritual man from what I know of him and he talked to individuals and he very strongly believed in the message of the bible that Jehovah Witness’s proclaim.
‘He believed that the true God is Jehovah and he knew for example that when we die, we’re dead, we’re sleeping and the hope is the resurrection, that’s why Jesus died.’
Elder Cook said Prince regularly ‘witnessed’ alone in the community, as well as in groups.
And he admitted that people might have been shocked to see the superstar turn up on their doorstep to talk to them and offer a free bible course, but added: ‘We try to downplay the person, it’s all about the message.
‘We try not to eulogize any individual from a personal standpoint, one person is equal in the eyes of God as another person.
‘So our main goal is to proclaim the message of God’s kingdom as equals and Prince did what he could from what I understand.
‘He did what he could to help people to get into the Bible and appreciate the benefits of family life and the hope of God’s kingdom.’
He added: ‘Credibility and honesty in conveying the message is vital.’
Elder Cook described Prince as ‘modest’ and ‘very, very humble’ when he came to the church.
‘Obviously he was able to witness when he was on his travels as well, he was devoted to it like we all are,’ he said.
‘He found fulfillment as a Witness and in sharing his faith with others.’
The elder says he last saw Prince when the star attended a 50-minute ceremony to commemorate the death of Jesus on March 23 – an event celebrated by Jehovah’s Witnesses all over the world.
The church has no photos of their most famous ‘publisher’ on the walls as you might expect, because ‘that would be glorifying an individual’.
‘Glory goes to Jehovah God, almighty God and his son Jesus Christ,’ said elder Cook.
Elder Cook also said the church does not have a problem with Prince’s reported addiction to prescription drugs because ‘that’s a personal matter’.
‘We are in to homeopathy and things like that, because nothing is 100 per cent.'
