Reminder for those of us who still use the word "plan" in relation to something Jehovah God will do. In light of understanding what his name means, it is hard to understand why people don't remember.
*** w95 5/15 pp. 24-25 Part 2—Flashes of Light—Great and Small *** Increased Light on Terminology 15 “The congregator sought to find the delightful words and the writing of correct words of truth.” (Ecclesiastes 12:10) These words might well be applied to our present subject, for light has shone not only on such important matters as doctrine and conduct but also on Christian terminology and its accurate meaning. For example, among the Bible Students, one of the most beloved publications was volume one of Studies in the Scriptures, entitled The Divine Plan of the Ages. However, in time, it was realized that God’s Word speaks only of humans as making plans. (Proverbs 19:21) The Scriptures never speak of Jehovah as planning. He does not need to plan. Whatever he purposes is sure to succeed because of his infinite wisdom and power, even as we read at Ephesians 1:9, 10: “It is according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself for an administration at the full limit of the appointed times.”
So it was gradually seen that the term “purpose” is the more appropriate one when referring to Jehovah.

Arbitrary deletion perhaps, as I have experienced. I found my deleted posts under my profile. They seem to still remain there. I was miffed because I had received reputation as well 
It felt like the Russians had got me!  

The first man seems to have got some kind of terrible news; his blood pressure shoots up and he has a stroke - now in hospital. Helps us to remember Jesus's words about not being anxious.
 
The second part of the picture seems to me to be some kind of emergency. The man seems to be warning the community to flee from the area. Hence the lady with the injured or sick child, trying to flee. Could be a warning of unsafe shelter/building after a bombing or earthquake event.
Many scenarios are possible - and all bring anxiety of the worst possible kind. Critical times hard on everyone.
 

Yes,  its  now  sad  for  our  many  Brothers  &  Sisters   But  Jehovah  will  soon  find  a  good  way  out !  I  am  sure,  bec.  HE  always  did  in  the  past  ;-))  I  trust  HIM ❤   Jehovah  saw  the  ton's  of  letter's....   it  will  be  NOT  in  vain,  NO !!!!

I am really touched by this development.  Active preaching helps to refine our individual faith.  I believe Jehovah will make a way for our dear brothers and sisters.  As we ALL pray, may HIS will be done!

That is why I often say we should retire the saying "religion is a snare and a racket". We should be ashamed of that kind of speech because it is not necessary. Actually, it is incorrect, because Jehovah's Witnesses say they are a legitimate religion, and should be respected as such. Therefore if religion is a snare and a racket, JWs would also be included in that. We have to take care with our words. And we should not highlight or resurrect ignorance. God has overlooked those times. Leave them in the past.

To follow Christ is now illegal in Russia. The government has given their verdict. Surely it has been played out as at Acts 26:26: ‘this thing has not been done in a corner.’ It has been played out so that all know and can take a stand.
It is Jesus at John 15:20: ‘Keep in mind the word I said to you: A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you.”
It is the Acts 28:22 words applied to first century Christians: ‘truly as regards this sect, we know that it is spoken against everywhere.’
Who else, other than Jehovah’s Witnesses, could these words conceivably apply to today?

No - the most stupid of research gets funding these days! 
These artifacts are not even proven to have belonged to Jesus!  How silly can people get?  As Colin said: have they ever read the bible -which is a historical narrative - even if one does not accept it as the word of God?

Can  you  explain  us,  why  you  gave  a  negative  reputation  for  a  wonderful  photo  to  our  Russia  Brother's & Sister's,   Toheeb Jw ??

The  most  people  we  win  by  preaching  and  now  the  jw.org  website  is  a  great  help !  But  through  the  Guinness-book ?  I  not  believe  that...  maybe  some,  yes  ok !  But  nobody  knows  the  exactly  count,  how  many  humans  come  to  us  about  the  Guinnes-book....

I  am  sure,  Jehovah  NEVER  wants  a  record  in  a  worldly  book !!   We  did  our  nice  work  with  that  ton's  of  letter's....  all  for  our  Brother's  in  Russia,  but  FIRST  for  Jehovah's  name  -  around  our  Earth !!     WHAT  A  WITNESS
THAT  WAS  THE  BEST   -   AND  NOT  SOME  WORD'S  IN  A  WORLDLY  BOOK.......     Thats  MY  opinion  to  the  Guinness - Book  theme !  Think  about  that  all  please,  bec.  WE  ARE  JEHOVAH'S  WITNESSES !!   That  book  is  full  of  worldly  records.....

It is always this way. The princes have no problem with it. It is the priests and the prophets that oppose religious freedom.
Perhaps it will be that way with Putin, if he can withdraw his head from the lock of the Church.

Jesus said "All authority has been given me in heaven and earth. Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and o the holy spirit". Matthew 28:1819.
Jehovah is the one who gave Jesus that authority. This authority has been passed on to us when Jesus said: "Go..."  So they are really defying Jehovah God.

Why do we even want to find common ground on this?  I could tolerate that "Easter", (or more specifically, "Good Friday"), could be viewed as Christendom's version of the Memorial.   But really....which came first? The (true) Christians or the Egg??

Profoundly esteemed Vladimir Vladimirovich, peace to you!
 
On 15 March 2017 the Russian Ministry of Justice filed in the Supreme Court of the RF a lawsuit for the liquidation of the "Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia" and for the banning of the activity of the religious organization for extremism. Consideration of the lawsuit is scheduled for 5 April.
 
Simultaneously, by an order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian federation of 15 March 2017 "Concerning the suspension of activity of a religious organization" in connection with the appeal to the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Justice suspended the activity of the religious organization Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia and local religious organizations that are members of its structure.
 
Inasmuch as the right to freedom of conscience is exercised by individuals through joint participation in one or another form of activity of religious associations and is expressed in the possibility to conduct joint activities for exercising and disseminating their convictions, the closing of religious organizations of the Jehovah's Witnesses will lead to the restriction of freedom of conscience of tens of thousands of citizens of the Russian federation who confess the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses.
 
Despite our disagreement in the strictly religious sphere, to wit, theological dispute with the teachings and certain practices of Jehovah's Witnesses, we express our profound concern with the situation of the religious organization Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia in the sphere of the exercise of their constitutional rights to freedom of conscience and religious confession.
 
Esteemed Vladimir Vladimirovich! We ask you, as the guarantor of the constitution of the Russian federation, to protect the right of freedom of conscience of citizens of the Russian federation and do not permit the closing of religious organizations of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
