I personally would not be an expert in the subject or the exact year in time, but Jehovah Witnesses believe that after Jesus was enthroned in the kingdom, the beginning of those that would rule with Christ were resurrected.  Those resurrected throughout the centuries would have begun with the apostles and many of the early disciples.  If any remain on earth at the time of Christ's arrival, my understanding is that they would have to die or be baptized into the death of Christ and then instantly resurrected to join Christ and the angels in the war of Armageddon.

The scriptures Christians base their belief in the rapture on are the following:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
1 Corinthians 15:20-23, “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. 21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming.”
1 Cor. 15:51-52, “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”
Does the WTS still say this event is an ongoing one since 1918 involving just a small segment of Jehovah's Witnesses as "the dead in Christ" ?

The verse you mentioned reads at Matthew 24:22:  In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
 
I can't see where God would spare those chosen ones from suffering or persecution if he didn't spare even his own son.  However, there may be several reasons why God has allowed the world to continue until now for the outworking of his will and purpose, in fulfillment of word and prophecy(ies).  That would allow for not only the chosen ones to receive life but many others as well.
 
(Isaiah 55:11) So my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, But it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, And it will have sure success in what I send it to do.
 
(Acts 17:31) Because he has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead.”
 
(2 Peter 3:9) Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.
 
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

No difference. Sometimes the use of different term is helpful because when so many people use the same term, that original term can lose its meaning over time. Also, there are other common meanings of the word "grace" that can refer to a certain elegance of style (or similar ideas) and this could tend to produce the wrong connotation. The term "undeserved kindness" makes us think about the true meaning. 

First definition for "grace" given by Merriam-Webster is:
unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification
so it would appear not.

Someone who was never "just" an angel, but who has always been the Son of God, and who evidently served in the capacity of an archangel, someone who had many angels at his command. (His Father, Jehovah, also has myriads and myriads of angels at his command.)

I agree that you need to read and study your Bible. When God executes anyone he is riding the cause of righteousness; he is not doing dirty work. 
 
He will also execute persons for saying shocking things about Him.  See scripture below:
(Jude 15) “ to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly concerning all their ungodly deeds that they did in an ungodly way, and concerning all the shocking things that ungodly sinners spoke against him.”

God is not doing Satan’s work. It is true that Satan has the means to cause death; however, Satan said in the beginning that mankind won’t die if they sinned. So how is it Satan’s work?
When Adam and Eve’s lifespan came to an end (within God’s thousand-year day) it was God’s sentence of death, not Satan’s.
When God executes the wicked he is doing His work as he is a God of justice and a God of truth. Everything he said he would do in the past came true. (Joshua 23:14) Everything he says he will do in the future will also come true.  (Rev 21:5, 8)
Righteous work – not dirty work
When Jehovah commands his Son to destroy the wicked it will be for the cause of righteousness – not dirty work.

I am very sorry to hear of her passing.   She was a role model for most little girls growing up in the '60s.  I myself very much admired her. It was a picture universally enjoyed by people of all ages. Sometimes I was taken back by the enthusiasm it brought out in older people.  The Sound of Music will always be a great memory and hers will always be wrapped up in it.

Ps 119:1 Happy are those who are blameless in their way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.  Ps 119:2 Happy are those who observe his reminders, Who search for him with all their heart.  Ps 119:3 They practice no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.   EVERY HUMAN HAS THE OPPORTUNITY  TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT IN THE EYES OF  JEHOVAH. NO EXCUSE FOR NOT KNOWING WHAT JEHOVAH GOD EXPECTS. THE MINISTRY  PROVES THAT. NOW THAT'S  A LOVING GOD.

This  a logical view, but unfortunately is taken from a human standpoint with all the limitations that imposes so, really, what would be accomplished?.
It is easy to look at past teachings now. For example, I think today only a small minority would look at the pyramidology persuasion and view it as anything other than "nonsensical gibberish",  a conclusion which Jehovah's Witnesses came to themselves. However, there are also those who look at our teachings on the human soul, hellfire, Trinity, evolution, and such like and view them similarly.
I personally don't feel qualified to review Jehovah or Jesus's judgement processes. I don't think I am party to all the facts of the matter and even if I was, to weigh and test those facts against a criteria that I am also not party to is, frankly, way above my pay grade.
There is also the business of what it is that Jehovah evaluates. The statements at 2 Chr. 16:9 "For the eyes of Jehovah are roving about through all the earth to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him", and Pro. 21:2 "All of a man’s ways seem right to him, But Jehovah examines the hearts" take the business of judgement into a completely different arena, way out of human experience or capability.
Paul got it right about Jehovah's judgements at Ro 11:33 "O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgments are and beyond tracing out his ways are!" and I am quite happy to accept them on that basis.

Even if we are speaking only of the history of the world, and therefore focusing on interaction with humans, I would include not just Jesus birth, but his life. I had a feeling that this is what Melinda meant when she included both his birth and death as God's gift. If I had to choose between his birth and his death as separate events, I would choose Jesus' death as the greatest, even if his birth was the happiest. But I notice that the book of Hebrews includes not just those events, but includes his birth, his preaching, his miracles, his death, his resurrection and his being seated at God's right hand as the greatest "event." In some ways his entire life was 'God speaking to us by means of a Son.' Jehovah had a way to communicate "directly" with us in spite of the huge chasm between God's holiness and our unworthiness.

Thanks, Melinda.  Viewing your example of "my grandmother's generation" as comparable to "this generation" that Jesus mentions, he would be including all people born around that time, believer and unbeliever alike.  I'm thinking that may be what Alexa was shooting for, too.
 

Another site said that they can weigh up 1000 lbs and that they found a weed that is considered to be a treat on the golf course, so they might weigh even more.It is going to be difficult to haul them. The hurricane is responsible for dropping them there.

Unwarranted acts often produce consequences that can't be fixed satisfactorily in this system. However, both sides can be humble and come to an agreement. Love conquer all things.

According to Gods word the Bible, through one man, Adam, sin entered into the world and death through sin,
and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned Romans 5:12. Romans 6:23 also says For the wages
sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus died for all mankind, opening
up a chance of everlasting life here on earth, by means of a resurrection. I believe that Jehovah reads our hearts, he nows 
the pain people feel to end there life, it is a sin to take your own life, but Jehovah is the judge of all circumstances.

Please forgive me if I am posting this info wrong.

As I said, local conditions will determine an appropriate response to your request if you make it.
I do not think it appropriate myself to comment in a public forum about how specifically Jehovah's Witnesses meet the challenge  of fulfilling Jesus command to make disciples where there are current restrictions on that work.
Rest assured, if you wish to study the Bible, nothing can stop Jehovah from ensuring you get access to the truth. Pray to him and let him know what you desire. He will see to it that you get the spiritual food you need.
2 Chr. 28:9: "Jehovah searches through all hearts, and he discerns every inclination of the thoughts. If you seach for him, he will let himself be found by you"
