  1. I like his “critical thinking” on “new light”… (As a JW)…“You use the concept called ‘new light’. ‘New light from Jehovah’, that’s the way every witness is taught. Well, you gotta stop and ask the question; now, what you were teaching yesterday, you told me that was ‘light from Jehovah’. Now today, you’re saying that Jehovah gave you new light on top of the light he gave you yesterday, but it’s exactly the opposite. And so all of a sudden you begin to see there’s a problem here. This is not new light. You’re just trying to fix an error that you made.” There’s a problem… (as
  2. Dear Mr. Sanderson, In your most recent video on modesty, I was surprised by your audacious and hypocritical comment on the following account in 2 Chron 26:16-18: But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense. 17 Azariah the priest with eighty other courageous priests of the Lord followed him in. 18 They confronted King Uzziah and said, “It is not right for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord. That is for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who
  3. "No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case honestly. They rely on empty pleas; they tell lies; they conceive mischief and give birth to iniquity. 5They hatch the eggs of vipers and weave a spider’s web. Whoever eats their eggs will die; crack one open, and a viper is hatched. 6Their cobwebs cannot be made into clothing, and they cannot cover themselves with their works. Their deeds are sinful deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands. 7Their feet run to evil; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts
  4. I believe you are right on both accounts. “Jehovah’s organization” stands in place of YHWH. It is a mountain-like “rock” that defies our true and only, Rock. The teaching of the Wt. proves that its organization is an idol, since “salvation” is only possible through adherence to the organization. They attach the name “Jehovah” to it. “To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One. Isa 40:25 “With whom will you compare me or count me equal? To whom will you liken me that we may be compared?” Isa 46:5 God has one spiritual “organization”; His
  5. “Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. 22,23 “When your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you, and when they turn back to you and give praise to your name, praying and making supplication to you in this temple, 34 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them back to the land you gave to their ancestors. 33,34 When your people go to war against their enemies, wherever y
  6. Disgusting thing: “Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.” Dan 11:31 “By smooth [words] he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.” Dan 11:32 “Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods; and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is de
  7. Yes, the GB is well taken care of. Whereas this woman, who faces an empty refrigerator in the picture below, has been told to ‘put the kingdom first’. So, she gives her last bit of money, which helps stock the fridge of the 8 men who live in luxury. She has misguided faith that soon, God will also fill her fridge as well…“all these things will be added to you”. Matt 6:33. Isn’t that how JWs perceive the perks of the “preaching work”? My husband and I thought the same thing. If we would go out in service regularly, and dedicate our energy to the organization, the rest of our material n
  8. In Kenya, $100 of US money will buy two 90kg each, of maize and beans. Plenty, for a family for a month, although it is a restricted diet, supported with greens that they may grow. That is, if they have the land to do so. This box, costing $75.00 requires a contribution from each member in a congregation to purchase it. Also, there is a fee to update it regularly. How long will the spiritual food last, provided from that box? A month? Maybe a year? (John 15:16) Are these people spiritually nourished in the long run, by what it offers? The “generation of 1914” who were not to
  9. Just curious, when is the GB going to declare that the great tribulation is in progress? They keep holding off for some reason.
  10. A point that might/should make a difference in understanding the “image” of the Beast, is that the false prophet/Harlot of Rev 13:11 “breathes” spirit into the Beast. It then becomes “spirit-breathed”; taking on its “image” as a spirit-directed organization. @Arauna said the eighth king is the image. The Beast receives its “image” of spirit-breathed, well before the eight king arrives; since by the time it is in power, the Beast from the Sea has exposed/bared the sins of the false prophet. This false prophet, Harlot/Beast with "two horns like a lamb", is disfellowshipped. (Rev 13:11,
  11. You've totally changed the subject. Is it because you see truth and don't want to face it? Only Jesus’ flesh died; he lived on in the Spirit. He is immortal, and his faithful anointed who remain “in Christ”, also receive immortality at the death of their flesh. My goodness, he is the SON of God, who is immortal. (1 Tim 1:17) That immortality will only be given to the anointed, when they are sealed, and proven faithful as sons of God, as Jesus their Head proved to be. (James 1:12; Rev 2:10; 14:4) I preach the Jesus that scripture speaks of. Perhaps you should consider what Jesus
  12. I'm not focused on other religions, that would be you. I am focused on "Israel" and the sins of your leaders over them, and those whom they have employed with authority to judge them. I am focused on the anointed themselves, who have allowed God's Temple - which are the anointed - to be trampled. (1 Cor 3:16,17) Why else was John sent to "measure" the Temple in vision. Each anointed one is "measured" by the standards of Christ and truth - because, they are "living stones" of the Temple! As Rev 11:1,2 states though, the Temple and the altar have been defiled by "Gentiles". The
  13. The “defective bull” appears to be the “food sacrificed to idols” – to the organization. Rev 2:20 As your hypocritical leaders stated… "As Christians, we face up to similar challenges today. We cannot take part in any modern version of idolatry—be it worshipful gestures toward an image or symbol or the imputing of salvation to a person or an organization." Wt ‘90/11/1 p. 26 The GB priests (if indeed all 8 are really anointed) who have placed themselves above all other anointed priests in the organization, (Matt 24:48-51) have allowed the sanctuary of God, to be defiled by
  14. The “daily sacrifices” were, and are to be, administered by God’s priests. Are you a priest of “Israel”? “To offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel” 1 Chron 16:40 “you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Pet 2:5 Korah wanted to be a priest, but he was killed for coveting the priesthood. Num 16:1
  15. You do know that in Dan 11:38, where it states “he will honor a god of fortresses”, it is speaking about the King of the North? According to your organization, that would be Russia. Most JWs may believe in 1914 as you say, but do you believe what your leaders teach you, about the King of the North? Or, do you have your own opinion? I’m glad you have your own opinion. Just realize that the “armed forces” of the King of the North, “desecrates the temple fortress” and abolishes the “daily sacrifice”. (Dan 11:31) It is the “man of lawlessness”, who “honors a god of fortresses”, set
  16. No doubt in Jesus’ day, the nations far and wide committed heinous atrocities. But Jesus appeared to his people under covenant with God. He didn’t concern himself with people of the nations, since God judges each person in righteousness, according to the circumstances they live in; according to their heart. God’s focus has always been with His people, Israel, and those in direct contact with them who may have joined them, or whom Israel was influenced by. So, Jesus’ reason for appearing, was as a “messenger”/”prophet”/Son of God/fulfilled promise of the firstborn of Abraham’s seed – S
  17. “Representing the royal priesthood are appointed elders, who serve in positions of responsibility in congregations of Jehovah’s people around the earth. These men deserve our respect and wholehearted support, whether they are of the anointed or not. Why? Because, through his holy spirit, Jehovah has appointed the older men to their positions. Rather than challenge their authority, we truly appreciate our hardworking elders! W02/8/1 pp 9-14” With representation of God’s priests, comes apparent authority. It is interesting that God would bless this non-biblical position, since now
  18. It really doesn’t take meticulous research to disprove 1914. “ In 1914 the long-awaited new heavens came into existence. The Messianic Kingdom born in that year rules from heaven itself, and Jehovah has given it authority over all the earth. ip chapter 26, pp 372-389 Anyone who was anointed after the death of the last of the anointed ones in the first group—that is, after those who witnessed the “beginning of pangs of distress” in 1914—would not be part of “this generation.”—Matt. 24:8. Kr chapter 1 pg 6-12 The Kingdom was apparently BORN in 1914 FOLLOWED BY “pangs o
  19. John, I know my words are strong, because I defend Jesus Christ, my Head and the Son of God. I also know you've been in the WT many years and have seen many changes in the organization. Men, can influence us with what they may call, in our "best interests". In the last days, the remnant anointed are tested by Satan with a powerful, flooding delusion - a delusion that appears to be in their best interests. (2 Thess 2:9-12; Luke 17:26,27; Rev 12:15) But, it deflects from the purpose of why they are anointed. The organization puts the anointed role of God's priests on the back burner, sayin
  20. He certainly did, by forming His organization of the new creation, on His chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 5:17) For in Scripture it says: ‘See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.’ “As you come to him, the living Stone – rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him – 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Pet 2:6,4,5 This describes
  21. I came across this quote from a governing body member’s talk (David Splane, I believe), which was given on the final day of the 2020 convention: “What other religious organization foretells the destruction of a World Empire of False Religion? We're the only ones, because the others are all part of Babylon the Great. They're not going to foretell the future of the destruction in the future. So, the destruction is going to be a surprise to everyone but Jehovah's Witnesses. And when it occurs, there will be no doubt in your minds that you're on the winning side, that you're on Jehovah's side
  22. It sounds like a religious internet competition, and WT is winning. Religious organization vs. religious organization via the internet; however, both the LDS and 7DA have individually, over twice as many congregants than the WT. So…even though the organization may “outpace” both those religions on the internet, where has it gotten them in numbers of believers? My point earlier was that there is presently, no more door-to-door preaching work for individual JWs. If they want to “preach”, the internet is available for them to do so, as it has been for anyone to do so, for quite a long while.
  23. The uniqueness of JWs’ form of preaching door to door, has come to a halt; even though the organization has stated that nothing would stop them from actively preaching, not even crocodile-infested waters. Many had put faith in that proclamation. But now, JWs are using computers to reach people, in the same way those who are not JWs, are doing. I remember resident Tom scoffing at the idea of preaching and reaching people in this manner. I also remember quoting Zech 4:6 and it was down voted by someone, which totally baffled me. How could anyone downplay the power of God’s Spirit to see Hi
  24. Again, I am not singling you out, but just your words, "unrighteous riches". I wonder, do these riches become "righteous" if used for "Jehovah's organization"? I also wonder why the WT even refers to the use of “unrighteous riches”, since the parable reveals that the “manager” who is “shrewd” with “unrighteous riches” is called a “dishonest manager”. (Luke 16:1-13) “And the Master praised the dishonest manager, because he had acted shrewdly. For the sons of this age are shrewder than the sons of light, with regard to their own generation.” (Luke 16:8) Do we compare the G
  25. Why is all of this okay with JWs? 7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so that neither can we bring anything out. 8 But if we have food and clothing, with these things we will be content. 9 But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and a trap and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge those people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all evil, by which some, because they desire it, have gone astray from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains. But you, O man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness,
