Since God is ruler over this Temple/ dwelling in Spirit (1 Cor 3:16), along with Jesus Christ who is the head of the anointed body/Temple(Eph 1:22;4:15), what right does any man, any elder have, to act as the authoritative power over God's Temple/anointed- to act as if he is God? Their authority over the anointed in the organization MUST be challenged. It is not sanctioned by God. Do not be yoked together with those who do not believe. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said: I will dwell and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. 17 Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you. And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor 6:14-18
  2. AnnaNana/Audrey said - "The context shows which temple the writer was talking about. Since we are a spiritual nation, it's not possible for a man or group of men to physically "sit" in us." You never pointed to what "the writer was talking about". 2 Thess 2:4 – “who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat (sits) in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.” In this spiritual Temple, do we not find God's throne, with God sitting on His throne? (Rev 7:15) In this scripture,it is implying rulership. Kathizō - to set, appoint, to confer a kingdom on one, to have fixed one’s abode. Examples: Mark 10:37 - They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, G2523 one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. Mark 16:19 - So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat G2523 on the right hand of God. 2 Thess 2:3,4 is speaking of the abomination in the Temple – the spiritual Temple which the anointed are. 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17 Mark 13:14 - But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains Who “stands”/rules over the anointed? Who has been given false authority to disfellowship God’s anointed for speaking in the name of Jesus? Rev 9:1-4; 13:1,2,5-7,18 There is only one “temple of God” recognized and spoken of, since Jesus Christ.
  3. Space Merchant - Only a few things I’ll comment in return. SM - “So you are discrediting Matthias, who is a known Firstfruit?” Not at all. I was referring to the original core number TWELVE, that Jesus chose for the foundation of God’s Temple. I said, “In the case of Matthias, he wasn’t Jesus’ choice to serve as an apostle. They cast lots and the lot fell on an individual that the disciples presumed was God’s choice. It is clear that Paul was personally chosen by Jesus to be an apostle. (1 Cor 9:1) All the previous apostles were also personally chosen by Jesus, to be the foundation of this spiritual Temple/house. (Eph 2:20-22) Paul even spoke of the foundation. (1 Cor 3:10-11) There was no man or group of men who chose the 12 in the beginning; only Jesus Christ called them, and he called Paul as well.” Yet, everyone anointed over the centuries, has always been the choice of the Father and the Son. SM: "What is confusing is prior you didn't see Christians, chosen and the non chosen as not an organized people.... But now, you do? Elaborate." When I was a JW, I submitted to the rulership, the hierarchy established by men. If we submit to the organizational setup devised by men, then we could fall into the trap seen in the Wt. The organization becomes salvation; the essence of the spiritual Temple built with faithful chosen ones – built on the author of life, is lost. (Acts 3:15) I hope you can see that by the Wt. saying it is the road to life, it isn’t faithfully recognizing who is the “author of life”, defying Jesus as our only salvation. His sacrifice might be mentioned, but check the previous last two Wt. study articles before today’s study, and it is clear what the primary focus is – the organization. We derive our spiritual sustenance from the word of God, and every anointed one should direct believers to that Word, not to a library of failed teachings, and not to men who claim there are “faithful and discreet” when their teachings are proven to rot. (Matt 7:15-20; 24:45-51) Truly, SM, they preach a “different Jesus”, a Jesus who tolerates false teachings, saying that Jesus never did promise them perfect food. (I can find the quote for you, if you like) Would Jesus ever offer anything else, but truth from the Father? (John 14:15-17, 26 ;16:13) That should be a clear sign that these men are not devoted to the teachings of Jesus, but to their own teachings, a hybrid of a few scriptures mixed with doctrine that fails time and again. (John 15:4-7) Which would mean their influence to fabricate doctrine, comes from the father of the lie. (John 8:44; Dan 11:14; Matt 7:15,20; Acts 20:29-31; Col 2:8; 1 Tim 4:1) The theory of men’s organized religion, fails to pay attention to the victims, the sheep that should be cared in a loving way. How can any religious well-developed organization in this corrupt world, protect itself from greed and dominance over others? The GB are men whose actions show that their organization and its leadership, has replaced Jesus Christ himself. (2 Cor 11:4) Worship is no longer “in spirit and truth” – the organized foundation of the spiritual Temple - but in whatever men and their establishment require, and in whomever they choose to appoint. (John 4:20-24) This desire over-rides what God has already spiritually “organized”; yet, in the last days, a remnant that leaves what men have created in the Wt, are prompted by Christ to “restore” the broken ones, the scattered “living stones”, the victims who have lost their family, yet still seek God. This restoration leads to the restoration of truth, and the preparing a people for the coming of Christ. (Mal 3:1-4; Matt 17:11; Rev 11:1-3; John 1:23; Isa 2:1-3; Matt 22:1-10) Nehemiah and a group of early prophets were instrumental in restoring Jerusalem after leaving Babylon. History repeats itself, and history is repeating itself in a most spiritual way. Not all who claim belief in Christ can recognize this now in its “small beginnings”. (Zech 4:10) But soon, God will raise the signal, a sign for any longing for truth, and they will be led to its source. (Ps 60:4,5; Isa 60:2; 40:4,5; Ezek 36:8; John 6:37) SM - "@Kosonen communicated with you before. This person was looking for chosen ones within and outside of the JW faith." I remember speaking with Kosonen. He predicted falsehoods that failed, and I have seen other predictions that he makes, which contradict what I perceive is truth. He seems to prefer going his own way and teaching his own teachings based on “signs” he sees in Satan’s domain. (Job 14:4) He concentrates on the politics of the world, viewing those signs as evidence God’s Kingdom is at hand. I concentrate on how each anointed one must conquer deception, and face and accept refinement for sins and idolatry, and to be found faithful in serving the Father and Son. (Rev 3:18) The Kingdom arrives when the Temple is, in God’s estimation, adequately sealed by those who have individually thrown Satan down by their testimony of truth – their testimony of Jesus. ( Rev 12:10,11,17; Zech 4:6,7) Then, the Kingdom will be established. (Dan 7:7-8,21; Rev 13:1,5-7,15; 11:7; Dan 7:25, 26,27,11; Rev 19:20; Dan 7:22,13,14; Rev 15:2-4) Satan tests us with his “signs and wonders”. (2 Thess 2:7-12) He primarily puts this test before the last remnant. (Luke 22:31) It is his last ditch effort to elongate his reign, and by doing so, taking down as many of the body of Christ, and those JWs with them, that is possible. Christ is his enemy. Every anointed “member” of his body, is also his enemy. If he can divert their attention to what he devises in the world of religion and politics, then they will not see the import of the spiritual temple that they are part of (1 Cor 3:16,17; Rev 16:13-16; 20:7-9), and which sits in ruins in the organization; trampled by a counterfeit priesthood. (Dan 7:23;8:10,13; 2 Thess 2:3,4) They will not come to its aid, but will continue to lounge in a false sense of “peace and security”. 1 Thess 5:3 I would never not communicate with Kosonen if he so desired, but if this anointed Body is built on the word of God in Jesus Christ, then his instructions should be heeded. Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, 21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Luke 17:20-21 All JW eyes are observing whatever is happening in the world, and not within their own hearts, how their own hearts are being corrupted by an idol. I was well aware of who were the anointed within the congregation of JWs I would be in at the time, and knew a few very personally. My family went out of our way to come to their needs, to the point of opening our house for them to live with us. I would go out of my way today, to help any anointed one realize the trap they were caught in, called the Watchtower. (Col 2:8; Rev 1,5-7,10)
  4. I’m being restricted from quoting and commenting on quotes, so I’m putting the full reply to SM: About charlatans, SM stated, “It seemed like you were saying otherwise when everyone knows the latter to be true.” AnnaNana said: “Anyone who claims to be currently serving as a human priest for Jehovah right now in this world is a charlatan, an imitation Christian, a fraud, just like the priests of Baal.” She said this in connection with her comment that the “144,000” are not active priests yet. She is talking primarily about the anointed in the Watchtower, as well as the anointed outside of the Watchtower. Yes, there are “charlatans” out there, but I focus on those “charlatan” governing leaders and the counterfeit priesthood/elder body. I’m sure she knows that. SM – “Not sure with where you are going with this one because in the 1st century, we seen people like the Apostles, such as Paul choose people, teach and or had given them a role of some kind in the church.” Okay, most of my answer is to pass along to all JWs. I hope you can be patient with me. Consider the history of the priesthood in Israel. These priests, along with the prophets who came along to remind them of the law, and warn them of their sins…the priests were chosen to serve the people by teaching them the law, by offering sacrifices on behalf of the nation; basically they were a spiritual conduit between God and the people. (Exod 28:29; Num 18:1,5) They were God’s “witnesses”. (Isa 43:10) No one could replace a priest without dreadful consequences. The chosen priesthood is a gift from God. ( Num 18:7) Isa 43:10 - “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and My servant whom I have chosen, 1 Pet 2:5 – “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession….” They are witnesses to the word of God and Christ. And this priesthood is a permanent, perpetual lineage. (Num 25:10-11) The physical temple is gone, the spiritual temple has replaced it. (John 2:19) A new priesthood takes the place of the old arrangement. It is to be just as active as the ancient priesthood; and for Anna’s sake again, there are no scriptures that say these priests must wait to serve as a priest until the Kingdom. (1 Pet 2:5,9; Rom 15:16) That is a Watchtower doctrine only. This temple built upon chosen people, is the Body of Christ. Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” “But the temple he had spoken of, was his body”. John 2:19,22 Regardless of what people believe, the temple has always had a priesthood where not even a king of Israel could take over their duties (2 Chron 26:16-21). The spiritual Temple built on Christ’s body, does not include those who are not chosen priests. When Christ came, we slid right into the spiritual concept of “temple”, leaving the physical concept behind. He was busy setting the foundation on his apostles and the word of all the prophets. (Eph 2:20) From there, more priests were added to this “structure”, (Eph 2:21) giving their sacrifices of praise to God and the Father, and teaching as all priests are to do – the instructions of the law in Christ. (Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Heb 13:15) It is a Temple built with “living stones” – people, anointed - just as the early priesthood was anointed with oil. (Num 3:3) But this “oil” today, is symbolic for Holy Spirit, and is supernaturally poured into the heart, the very soul of the anointed who is chosen as a priest/king. (1 Cor 1:21-22; Rom 5:5; Rev 5:9-10) Today, usually only they witness this. I am not saying someone else might be present during the anointing, but by the experiences I’ve heard, it is between God and the individual. So, how do we know who is the faithful anointed one that Jesus sends in his name? (John 15:16; 13:20) By their teachings that “LAST”, teachings that would not be replaced continually with another fabricated story. They are in harmony with scriptures, not including ANY doctrine of men. (John 15:1-4; Matt 7:15-20). Since this Temple is more sacred than the earlier temple, (Heb 7:7; 9:23) which had its regulations where no foreigner, no Gentile could enter the sanctuary, (Ezek 44:6-9), then we must realize that no spiritual “foreigner”, no “Gentile” other than an anointed priest of spiritual “Israel,” is allowed to “enter” and act as a priest. (2 Chron 13:9; 1 Cor 3:16-17) The apostles would have chosen anointed ones to serve the people in the capacity of teaching or the gifts of the spirit in Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12. Why? Because otherwise, it would have been “Gentiles” entering the spiritual Temple and taking over the duties of chosen priests. We see how severe the punishment was against all that transgressed God’s laws about the early temple and priesthood. And God promises the same will happen to those who transgress the Temple built on the body of His Son. (2 Thess 2:3,4,8; 1 Cor 3:17) Num 13:10 - "So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons that they may keep their priesthood, but the layman who comes near shall be put to death." The apostles, knowing that they are part of the sacred Temple/ body of Christ, and they taught this to all anointed at the time, would not have transgressed God’s laws in Christ, by allowing anyone to act in the capacity as themselves, as a priest. It would have been an act of blasphemy against Christ himself, and an act against God’s chosen “possession”. The elder body today, has taken the place of the anointed ones. Actually, they have driven out the priesthood, and stand in their place. (Ezek 34:21-22; Mark 13:14) It is like “foreigners” entering the early temple, taking over the duties of the priests, and offering sacrifices instead of the priests; just as Jeroboam set up for his golden calf worship. And the elder counterfeit priests serve the organization, while the Temple and its holy priesthood, is ignored. “After this thing Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but made priests for the high places again from among all the people. Any who would, he ordained to be priests of the high places. 34 And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, so as to cut it off and to destroy it from the face of the earth.” 2 Kings 13:33-34 If you’ll notice, the anointed are only mentioned as a group that exist as a “JW” along with all JWs; meaning, that they don’t exist as the priests that should practice their priesthood as God expects. No one has faith in the words of Christ to help them determine by his teachings, whom he has sent bearing “good fruit” that “lasts”. (Matt 7:15-20; John 15:1-4,16) Because they cannot physically witness a spiritual anointing, the choice God makes to serve Him, and refuse the guidance in Christ’s words to examine “fruit”/teachings, they decide to choose their own priesthood. The elder body is expected to receive honor and praise. The anointed are told to be HUMBLE, QUIET AND OBEDIENT to the counterfeit priesthood that rules over them. (Rom 14:4; 1 Cor 6:2-4; Rev 13:1,5-7,15-17) ------- SM: “Not sure with where you are going with this one because in the 1st century, we seen people like the Apostles, such as Paul choose people, teach and or had given them a role of some kind in the church.” In the case of Matthias, he wasn’t Jesus’ choice to serve as an apostle. (1 Cor 3:10-11) There was no man or group of men who chose the 12 in the beginning; only Jesus Christ called them, and he called Paul as well. “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” John 15:16 Ignatius and Polycarp are not in the scriptures. I don’t know the circumstance. SM: “Further details from the Greek text even suggests that around those days, especially Paul's there was the hierarchical pattern of the Early Christian Church was mainly governed by Apostles and the Elders, etc. with designated functions/roles in an organized fashion, in this case, organization of Christians in purpose and efforts, as the Bible puts it, orderly.” The “hierarchical” pattern that you speak of, is to be viewed spiritually. The temple has “organization”, yes, it is outlined for us through the various gifts given to the anointed in 1 Cor 12 and Romans 12; Ephesians 4. It is God’s pattern which cannot be imitated or changed by men, according to a specific branch of Christendom. Basically, it is set “in stone”, the chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ. (1 Pet 2:6; Rev 21:22-24, 14; Eph 2:20-22) SM – “Can you give an example of how chosen silence their own if they all communicate with each other? Plus that statement is a parallel between you and @Kosonen, who he himself knew he is chosen.” Consider firstly that this is a global organization. Anointed are scattered throughout the world, under the submission of “Gentile” “shepherds” appointed by men. Picture Jerusalem, after the temple was destroyed by the Roman army. The stones were thrown down and scattered. Today, not one living stone is left upon a living stone, because they are warned not to bond together and study God’s word under Jesus Christ. (Ezek 34:1-6; Luke 21:6; 1 Pet 2:5; Dan 8:12,23) Quote: In addition, anointed Christians do not view themselves as being part of an elite club. They do not seek out others who claim to have the same calling, hoping to bond with them or endeavoring to form private groups for Bible study. (Gal 1:15-17) Such efforts would cause divisions within the congregation and work against the holy spirit, which promotes peace and unity.—Read Romans 16:17,18 W16/1/22 These words threaten the anointed, and blaspheme the Holy Spirit poured into their heart – as well as slandering the spiritual Temple/dwelling of God. (1 Cor 3:16) Can you imagine anyone telling you that you cannot have your own Bible study with a group of people that you relate to? The GB/anointed priests meet together and talk scripture, I am guessing anyway (or, is it all business?) So, why is it that their “brothers” must not do so? (1 John 4:20) Truly this is “beating” their fellow slaves in Christ. (Matt 24:48-51) Jesus taught his disciples to wash each other’s feet, to serve the needs of each other, and to have love for one another. The anointed in charge have no love for anyone but themselves. Obviously, all fleshly needs of the GB are meet, while possibly an anointed one in Africa, along with all JWs in that country struggling to make ends meet, are ignored. Building Ramapo takes precedence over caring for their anointed brothers as well as JWs as a whole. “We honor Christian elders when we show respect for their position and follow their direction.” W17/3/8 What is their position? "Representing the royal priesthood are appointed elders, who serve in positions of responsibility in congregations of Jehovah’s people around the earth. These men deserve our respect and wholehearted support, whether they are of the anointed or not. Why? Because, through his holy spirit, Jehovah has appointed the older men to their positions." There are possibly 20,000 anointed ones if they are genuine, within an organization of 8 million. They are both men and women. That reduces the percentage of possible anointed within the elder body, well under a half of a percent. This leaves a handful of anointed on the elder body. How does God approve of these men? Through an anointing? No, by using qualifications applying to the Temple priesthood. “These older men meet the requirements that are set out in God’s Word, which is a product of God’s spirit.” And elder pedophiles are shuffled between congregations. They certainly don’t meet any requirements in God’s word. Besides, elders are no longer just “older men”, but those barely hitting 20 years old. “ Rather than challenge their authority, we truly appreciate our hardworking elders!” Yes, JWs must open their mouths and swallow down lies about both the fake priesthood AND the priesthood chosen by God. The authority of the GB and elders, must not be challenged. These anointed are never called on by the GB for opinions. If they can fly missionaries all across the world, they can certainly call in the anointed to consult with; yet, their letters of concern go unheeded. If this organization was blessed by God, Holy Spirit would draw all anointed ones together, under Jesus, to serve as a unified priesthood, which would cause TRUTH to soar. (Rom 8:16; John 15:4; 1 John 2:20,27) Just as the nation of Israel was blessed when they obeyed the law of God by listening to the priests, JWs would be blessed as well; not with failed doctrine, but with true nourishing food from Jesus and his under priests. (John 16:13) Instead, false teachings rear their ugly head regularly. This is not a sign of God placing His name on the organization. It is a preposterous thought. Why would he neglect His firstborn Son and His dwelling place in the hearts of the anointed, for an organization full of riches and child abuse? We have a governing body that has come into power with not only a history of false teachings stacked up on their table, but they continue to create more, and keep serving them up through their elder priesthood. (Matt 24:48-51) They are not as benign of a group of men as you would like to believe. Teaching falsehoods to the people as a priest is blasphemy. (Mal 2:1-3) “For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. 8 But you have turned aside from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of hosts, 9 and so I make you despised and abased before all the people, inasmuch as you do not keep my ways but show partiality in your instruction.” Mal 2:7-9 Ignoring the spiritual Temple of “living stones” and choosing instead, to teach and exalt a manmade organization, is idolatry. (Rom 1:25) Replacing God’s chosen priesthood with men chosen by men, is an abomination. (Matt 24:15,16; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-2) But it has worked for now. It has convinced JWs that this organization is their way to paradise. I mean, SM, do you believe an organization is mankind’s way to paradise? I should hope not. Remember, the Wt baptism includes dedication to an organization. Jesus never demanded that to be the case. “And while now the witness yet includes the invitation to come to Jehovah’s organization for salvation” W 81/11/15 p.21 They ignore those anointed who actually could teach in truth, if their hearts were inclined to stand up solely, for Christ. Picture the anointed shoved in a corner, while the elders are placed in the limelight. (Mal 2:7; Isa 30:19-22) These men are called shepherds, who love prominence, titles, privileges; while ignoring the needs of the sheep. When Jesus was serving breakfast on the shore of the lake, feeding his disciples, he kept quizzing Peter, “do you love me?” “FEED MY SHEEP”. He chose them, to actively feed the people the laws of God in Christ – spiritual, lasting food/fruit, which has always been the job of the priesthood. (Mal 2:7; Matt 7:15-20) But the elder “shepherds” as a whole, are too busy feeding their pompous ego, their lust for power and privilege status, while disregarding God’s spiritual Temple and dwelling of Holy Spirit. The physical organization is an idol that rivals God, and “makes war against the saints”, chosen sanctuary Temple of God. (Rev 13:1,2,5-7,4) 2 Thess 2:1-12 - Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 1914 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” There is only one earthly organization that houses the genuine anointed, and there is only one organization that has a massive elder body that has taken the place/”sits” in the Temple of God, as counterfeit priests. “Modestly, anointed ones acknowledge that they do not necessarily have more holy spirit than those with an earthly hope. They do not claim to have special knowledge or revelations; neither do they try to prove that they are in some way superior.” What wicked persuasion! This argument is to keep the anointed in check and let the “anointed” GB rule as false prophets/ false teachers that they are. How on earth do they, who readily acknowledge that they are NOT INSPIRED BY HOLY SPIRIT, know what wisdom from Holy Spirit God has put into the OTHER hearts of the anointed? This admittance of not having Holy Spirit, shows up their lies as coming from another spirit. (2 Cor 11:3-5,13-15,20; 1 Tim 4:1) Were the anointed apostles not given Holy Spirit to understand the mysteries of God? Were they not also prophets? (1 Cor 4:1; Eph 2:20-22) Uninspired men would have no knowledge of what inspiration by Holy Spirit is all about. Implying that the anointed have nothing special to offer, guarantees that the “Gentile” elder body hold their secure power over ‘worthless’ anointed ones. Dan 11:36 Zech 2:6-13; Rev 18:4-8
  5. @AnnaNana, During an unusual sane moment, CT Russell, a foundation stone of the organization, stated- Beware of "organization.” It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours. Believe and obey so far as you understand God’s Word today, and so continue growing in grace and knowledge and love day by day. (The Watchtower, September 15, 1895 "No one can serve two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." Matt 6:24 "But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance." Rom 6:17
  6. @AnnaNana those I work with are anointed! They are serving as priests by offering sacrifices of praise to truth, which was banned in the organization. You say Paul did not say he was serving as a priest? You have just wiped out his words in Romans 15:16 and Peter's words in 1 Peter 2:5,9 that I provided for you. You're calling them a liar. This is a spiritual priesthood, they offer spiritual sacrifices, of spiritual food, of Truth in Jesus Christ. The anointed are whom Jesus sends. ( John 13:20) And they are both kings under the King of kings, and priests under their High Priest. In the Kingdom they will reign fully as kings if they are found faithful, with Jesus Christ, and fully as priests serving the children of God. Who are the called, faithful, and chosen who are riding with the King of Kings in the war of Armageddon? Rev 17:4 It is the priesthood of 1 Pet 2:5,9 Did you happen to read what I said that the elder body is doing? I quoted passages from the Watchtower, that states they are representing the priesthood in all manner of ways in the congregations. They have been given blasphemous authority by the governing body, to rule over the anointed priests. This authority cannot be challenged by God's priesthood. Why can those men act as priests, when the anointed served as priests in the first century, which I pointed out? But the anointed in the organization, must not transgress the authority of a counterfeit priesthood. That is what the man of lawlessness/ elder body/ organization has accomplished - the destruction of a spiritual nation belonging to God. They are the abomination standing in the temple of God. And if we can understand this, if we can discern this corrosive abomination committed in the organization, against the temple of God and his priesthood, we are to flee and not return. Matt 24:15,16 The priests are also, kings. I hope you take time to learn who they are. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus 19%3A6%2C1 Peter 2%3A5%2C1 Peter 2%3A9%2CIsaiah 61%3A6%2CRomans 15%3A16%2CRevelation 1%3A6%2CRevelation 5%3A9-10%2CRevelation 20%3A6&version=CSB
  7. I'm pretty sure she's targeting the anointed priests in the organization, those who come out, including herself, by saying they are not to serve as priests under their High Priest and Head, Jesus Christ. Anyone who does, she is labeling as a charleton. This is because she prefers organization built by men, and not by God. The interesting thing is, the now 10 GB members are active "priests" and have hired on their massive elder body, not anointed, to follow in their footsteps. They are sanctioned by men to serve in a priestly capacity for the organization. It looks to me that the GB have usurped the position of Jesus Christ, as Head over the anointed, and serving as high priests. But the anointed priests in the organization, are silenced; obeying men, and not their High Priest, Jesus.
  8. @Space Merchantyou were using the scripture to condone a religious hierarchy, organizing worship according to men I don't look at it that way, I look at the spiritual and I already explained myself. When I read that scripture, I immediately considered the spiritual organization in God's holy city, His spiritual Temple.
  9. @AnnaNana You're saying that anyone who claims to serve as a priest right now is a charlatan. Was the anointed apostle Paul a charlatan when he walked the earth? "Nevertheless, I have written to remind you more boldly on some points because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the gospel of God. God’s purpose is that the Gentiles may be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Romans 15 Was the apostle Peter a charlatan when he walked the earth? "you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession,so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Pet 2:5,9 Was this obligation of an active priesthood since the first century, required to end at the advent of the Watchtower? The charlatans are those who "represent the royal priesthood" in your idol organization! The elder body! "But you and your sons will carry out your priestly responsibilities for everything concerning the altar and for what is inside the curtain, and you will do that work. I am giving you the work of the priesthood as a gift, but an unauthorized person who comes near the sanctuary will be put to death.”. Num 18:7 "Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are." 1 Cor 3:16-17
  10. Is God too simplistic to have a spiritual vision of His spiritual Temple and how it is to be organized? Heb 8:1-6 None of the following religious organizational hierarchies, or "mountains" are condoned by God, because they are built like any other organization on earth, to secure power and authority over their organization. God is Spirit, and we are to worship Him in spirit and Truth. John 4:21-24. The Holy City, His Temple, is built in His orderly way, not man's way.
  11. @AnnaNana You said, "some fancy priesthood" Do you realize that you are mocking Jesus Christ himself, who is our High Priest? Please read Hebrews 3:1-6, which describes the house/ sanctuary/Temple that God is building. You are mocking every anointed one since the first century. You are mocking the apostles/priests, who are the foundation of the spiritual temple of God. (Eph 2:20-22) If you are anointed, you are also mocking yourself! Read chapter 2 of Isaiah. Where does the law go forth; out of an earthly organization, or out of Zion, which is God'sTemple/dwelling? And who comprised that Temple? Who have the laws of God written on their heart? (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17: Heb 8:10) Who are to preserve those laws? Unanointed elders? Deut 17:9-12; 1 Cor 6:1-3; Mal 2:7 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy%2017%3A9-12%2C1%20Corinthians%206%3A1-3%2CMalachi%202%3A7&version=NKJV Read chapter 4 of Zechariah, where the two anointed stand by the Lord, as the spiritual Temple of God is being finished, with the last capstone put in place. This doesn't indicate the refinement of an earthly organization, it indicates the refinement of the anointed remnant who LEAVE falsehoods, who submit to Jesus Christ, their High Priest. They have conquered the Beast with their testimony to truth, the Beast who has disfellowshipped them for that very testimony. (Rev 13:15; 11:7-8,11-12; 12:10-11;15:1-2) They have removed the idolatrous mark that JWs carry on their forehead and in their heart. (Rev 13:4,8,16) That beast, (Rev 13:1-2) is your idle/organization, the fortress you want to rebuild. (Dan 11:36-37; Rom 1:25) The scriptures in Zech 4, reflect on Revelation 11:1-3, where the two symbolic witnesses are preaching in sackcloth, because the man of lawlessness, "Gentiles", are trampling the "holy city". 2 Thess 2:3-4 Again, the GB is not the man of lawlessness. It is the unanointed elder body, they are the "Gentiles" ruling over the Temple priesthood. They are trampling down the priesthood, those who have not received the seal of God on their forehead; that you supposedly, are part of as an anointed one, while also degrading its importance at the same time. It is all happening in the organization. (Rev 9:1-4; 13:5-7) The holy city is "New Jerusalem". (Gal 4:26) Again, New Jerusalem is comprise of anointed priests, who as "living stones", are part of the Temple. (1 Pet 2:5,9) In the last days when the man of lawlessness/elder body, "sits"/rules over these temple priests, the majority, like apparently yourself, "love it that way". (Dan 8:25; 9:27;11:31; Mark 13:14) "An astonishing and horrible thing has happened in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority; and my people love to have it so. What will you do in the end of it?" Jer 5:30,31 The " mountainlike organization" that you want to see cleansed, is prophesied to fall. (Zech 4:6-7; Rev 8:8-9) It is the rival against what God has built on the body of Christ! It is a facade. Wake up Anna! I see you preaching a different Jesus, (2 Cor 11:1-4, 13-14) and formulated a plan in your head that is not scripturally based. "Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty" Prov 28:19 Your land is the soil of your spiritual heart. Have you set up an idol in your heart? (Matt chapter 13). Each anointed heart is depicted as God's "land", His possession, His building. He molds us as priests to do His will, to work alongside his future children. We were bought at a price, you don't become slaves of men and their earthly treasures. (1 Cor 3:9; 6:20; 7:23) We are fully, totally, slaves of God and and Jesus Christ only. You say, that we follow no man or woman, but once you enter back into that organization, once the elder body has disfellowshipped the harlot/GB, you will be following men - the eighth king, that the symbolic 10 anointed kings relinquish their royal power over to. You will once again, be their slave, even if it appears that you will be ruling with them, Rev 17:12-14. (Gal 1:10) For now, it appears you only want to follow yourself and your confused view of what God expects of his anointed ones, which you believe is to submit to a man-made rulership that has destroyed them, as well as the truth that they should be carrying in their heart. (Dan 11:9-12; 8:12) "Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe." Prov 28:26 God refines and disciplines His anointed to serve His children in the future. This is a humble position, wouldn't you say so? God chooses the humble ones to fulfill this role, not the arrogant as we see in the GB. (Isa 66:2; Zeph 3:12) This last remnant is under a test that Satan has put before them, and God allows it, as discipline, as refinement. (Luke 22:31; Rev 12:1-4) In order to gain victory, we shed the ideas of men, the organization, and submit fully to the rulership of the King of kings, Jesus Christ. When we read Revelation 21, where New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven, and God will be with mankind, this is through the presence of Holy Spirit within the bride of Christ, the anointed priesthood - each heart - where God's Spirit dwells. They will serve the needs of God, of Jesus Christ their husband, AND all of God's children in the Kingdom. God in Spirit, will then dwell with mankind. (Gen 28:10-17; John 1:50-51; Rev 21:1-8) If we truly love God and His Son, then we will submit to THEIR will, and not to our own. 2 Thess 2:9-12 - "The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serves a lie, and all the ways that we wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth, but have delighted in wickedness" The apostle Paul describes this event in the light of those who come as if they are from faithful anointed ones, and who proclaim the day of the Lord is here. 1914 Connect the dots, that is where the man of lawlessness that has trampled down the anointed ones, is found. 2 Thess 2:1-4 You said, God will destroy the man of lawlessness that you say is found in the organization, but He will not destroy the organization. Revelation 13:18 shows that the "man of lawlessness" IS the organization, the Beast that makes war with the saints, with God's holy Temple. Rev 13:5-7 At the coming of Jesus Christ, it will be destroyed by the breath of his mouth; eternal condemnation by the word of God. 2 Thess 2:8; Rev 19:19-20 Mark of the Beast Teach the Distinction!
  12. Hi Anna, you say God can do anything; of course we know He can, and we look forward to what He has planned for us in the Kingdom. But, He also says His word cannot be altered, (Deut 4:2; Prov 30:5-6; John 10:35), and the entire book of the Bible ends by saying, "I warn everyone who hears the word of the prophecy of the scroll: if anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll" Rev 22:18-19 I hope you consider what you're proposing, because it reminds me a bit of Jesus' time in the wilderness, where Satan told him, "If you are the Son of God", he said, "throw yourself down from here. For it is written: he will command his angels concerning you to guard your carefully they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Luke 4:9-11 Claiming that God will heal the organization if He wants to, an organization built on the earth where Satan rules, and obviously influenced by the wickedness of Satan, requires scriptures that prove that this will happen. Don't you think so? You may not look at it this way, but it's as if you are taunting God to clean the organization, just as Satan taunted Jesus in the wilderness. And do you really expect a manmade organization to ever remain clean in God's eyes during this system under Satan's influence? Because we can't escape greed and dominance over others until the Kingdom arrives. So history will repeat itself after your idea of the organization being cleansed. (Job 14:4) We already know that God can heal the blind, deaf and the lame, because scripture tells us these things. And this happens when people reach out to Him in repentance. But nowhere does it says that He will heal an organization built on money, investments, stocks, and real estate transactions. His interest is the heart of all mankind, and scripture supports this.(1 Cor 4:5) Just type in "hearts" in biblegateway.com and see how many scriptures appear. None will appear for the word, "organization". God's focus is on people; it is people who put their focus on an organization. By putting the Wt. above His spiritual Temple in importance, it is as if you are treating the organization AS a temple, where His Spirit supposedly dwells. Why call it "Jehovah's organization" if His Spirit does not reside within it, right? God's word tells us this isn't so: Acts 17:24,25,29 - "The God who made the world and all things in it, He, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands." Has the organization been made with hands? "He isn't served by men's hands as though He needed anything, seeing He himself gives to all life and breath and all things." Is "Jehovah's organization" served by men's hands, for "Jehovah's" sake? Or rather, for men's sake? "Since, then, we are God’s offspring, we shouldn’t think that the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image fashioned by human art and imagination." You are putting the divine nature of God into what men have built, by declaring the Wt is His organization. Actually, this is what the governing body has done. They claim that it is spirit directed- spirit breathed, which was prophesied to occur in the last days. (Rev 13:14-17). Yes, a false prophet breathes spirit into an organization/ Beast. Any who do not respect that image as spirit directed, is spiritually killed - disfellowshipped. Rev 13:15 This is a quote from the Watchtower 1990 11/1 p.26 - "As Christians, we face up to similar challenges today. We cannot take part in any modern version of idolatry - be it worshipful gestures towards an image or symbol or the imputing of salvation to a person or to an organization" Of course, Watchtower does not practice truth when they speak it, and in this case, submits all JW's to idolatry. Is that really what you want for God's people, who have come to believe today, that the only way to salvation is through the organization? Isn't it only Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and life, which is what the apostles taught? (John 14:6;Acts 4:12) Do you feel comfortable removing the only avenue of salvation that God has given us, and whom we must listen to, and applying it to wood and stone? (Isa 40:18-21) Only a remnant, of the last anointed remnant, come out of the organization; a remnant that listens to the teachings of the Bible, and not to the wiles of men. (Rev 12:17; 1 Cor 15:23-24) Please think about this, Anna. Read who it is that must flee in Revelation 18:4-8. You're right that Revelation concerns God's holy people, but you don't realize it is completely about God's holy people, not the United Nations, or the religions of the world. They do not claim that they are spirit inspired. (Rev 13:15) No false prophet (Rev 13:11-12) in Christendom has breathed spirit into the United Nations. The anointed and all JWs, must come out of the false religion they are in presently. It is another Babylon that God's saints are held captive in. It is a repeat of what happened to God's people for their sins and idolatry in ancient Israel, but today it is on the spiritual level of grotesque deceit. (Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; Matt 24:24,25; 1 Tim 4:1) Who said that the priesthood was perfect? You've presented a straw man argument! Are you avoiding admitting that the priesthood is active, so instead you say, "Jesus didn't come to save perfect priesthoods"? Anna, when we come out of the organization, we are all sinners after listening to and supporting false teachings and practicing idolatry to the organization. (Rev 3:15-20) The messenger of the covenant comes to refine God's priesthood. (Mal 3:1-4; Matt 17:11;1Pet 2:5,9,10; 1 Cor 3:16) I know I am being very strong with you, but it means our life. And unlike the governing body who are most sure that they will reign in the heavens before Jesus make that decision at his return, (1 Cor 4:8) we wait for the Master to grant us our reward without blowing our horn, that we have already received it. (Matt 25:19-30) I think I read that you had mentioned Wormwood and some scriptures pertaining to it. Deut. Chapter 29 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy%2029&version=CSB Yes, the prophecy in Revelation 8:10-11 applies to the false prophets/ teachers/ GB, fallen anointed ones. The holy ones are compared to stars. (Gen 22:17; Dan 12:3; Phil 2:17) Wormwood, a fallen anointed star, is the beast/false prophet of Revelation 13:11; 19:20, that works signs and wonders on behalf of the organization, the Beast of Rev 13:1,2. This false prophet poisons the waters of truth by teaching doctrines of men. The scriptures tell us what will happen to this " Jezebel" who makes the servants of Christ "eat meat sacrificed to idols". ( Rev 2:20) Just as the false prophet Jezebel was thrown out the window to her death, the Harlot/false prophet will be disfellowshipped - spiritually "killed" by the elder body/ organization, and thrown out. (Rev 13:15) Her sins will be found so great that not even the elder body will tolerate her any longer. In Revelation, there are various descriptions that imply the actions and personalities of the two beasts in Revelation, as the governing leaders and the organization. (Rev 16:13-16) The elder body has grown in power over the years, and at the branch levels, it is somewhat independent. There is an underlying current of disappointment with the GB. Easily, the elder body will remove the Harlot, but although God will put it in their hearts, it is not His plan to cleanse the organization, since scriptures tell us that there is only one hour, one symbolic hour for the organization to reign after that, before Jesus returns and destroys this man of lawlessness/Beast that has trampled down his anointed living stones of God's Temple.(2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2) It will be destroyed by the breath of his mouth, the word of God. (Jer 23:29; 2 Thess 2:7-12) Rev 17:12-18) So the very organization that you are supporting, is the very organization that will be destroyed. Loyalty to what men have built, defies pure loyalty that should be shown only to God and the Son. We can't praise and show loyalty to the Father, and praise and show loyalty to an organization built by men, at the same time. ( Matt 6:24; 22:37-40) 1 Cor 3:11, 16-17 - "For no one can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Do you not know that you are a sanctuary of God and that the spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the sanctuary of God, God will destroy him, for the sanctuary of God is holy and that is what you are."
  13. Why did that account occur? Korah wanted to secure the priesthood. He didn't accept the arrangement that God had put in place through Moses. Can you relate that to what you think that God has approved of today, the elder body serving as priests in the organization? Through the account of Korah you should be able to conceptualize how severe this abomination is, that is happening in the organization. Mark 13:14; Rev 11:1,2 The elder body is the man of lawlessness, not the governing body. Always, when there is an abomination that happens in the temple of God, it has to do with foreigners, or Gentiles defiling the temple. Ezek 44:6-9 2 Thess 2:3,4 - "Don't let anyone deceive you in any way for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's Temple proclaiming himself to be God." "Representing the royal priesthood are appointed elders, who serve in positions of responsibility in congregations of Jehovah's people around the world." Rather than challenge their authority, we truly appreciate our hard-working elders!" 2002/8/1 Wt. Rev 13:1,2,5-7 - The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had 10 horns and seven heads, with 10 crowns on its horns and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for 42 months. It opens its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander His name and his swelling place and those who live in heaven. It was given power to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. It was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." This symbolic beast challenges the authority of God's holy people, the saints, the priesthood. And this beast has over it a false prophet, the GB. Rev 13:11,12; 19:20
  14. Why did Paul say that? Divisions were occurring among the body and in the congregation. He was stressing to them how important TRUTH was, to unify them. He asked, "is Christ divided?" Like I brought out in scriptures, the anointed ARE to be united under their Head, looking to him as their Master, as all of them SPEAK the same Truth in Christ You are telling me that you are a messenger from Jesus, which makes me assume you are anointed, but I really don't know if you are. Why? Because you have no concern about the other members of the body of Christ. Or it doesn't appear that way. Truth withstands scrutiny. If you feel you have a message to God's holy people, then wherever you meet an anointed one, you would share that message, whether it is rejected or not. Is that not right? Why is it, that going to a website where an anointed one has spoken a message from Christ, that you translate that as following "men" or in this case, a woman? All the while, you have a message as well, and all that you have written here could be compiled into a website, where people could reach your message easily. I doubt that you feel if people follow what you write, that they are following a woman. Didn't individuals learn the truth of Christ from the apostles by hearing and following what they taught? A good leader in truth, leads the person not to themself, but to Jesus Christ. It seems that what you desire, is the arrangement of the organization; which by the way, has a massive website. You fully choose the elder body arrangement of " Gentiles" over the anointed body in Christ. Jesus has something to say about that arrangement. Keep the governing body in mind as "the great ones" and the "Gentiles" as those not anointed, when you read this scripture. The sons of Zebedee wanted to sit at either side of Jesus in the Kingdom. They wanted him to grant that request. Jesus gives them this scenario: But Jesus called them to Himself and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers (elders) over the Gentiles (JWs not anointed) lord it over them, and their great ones (GB) exercise authority over them (over the elder rulers) Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”. Mark 10:42-45 That arrangement is the organizational arrangement that you say God has put His name on, but Jesus is condemning. Do you see this? A true Messenger of Christ, is also an active priest of Christ. The apostle Paul shows us what that means: "Nevertheless, I have written to remind you more boldly on some points because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the gentiles, serving as a priest of the Gospel of God. God's purpose is that the Gentiles may be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the holy spirit. Therefore I have reason to boast in Christ Jesus regarding what pertains to God." Rom 15:15-17 Jesus expects all of his priests to be ministers of the truth, the gospel that is set down in the scriptures. Remember, he said in Matthew 28:20 - "teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you." Paul tells us he was serving as a priest, and active priest, teaching the words of Jesus Christ to others as Jesus commanded. That's what Jesus expects of us, besides dying for Truth, leaving everything behind that is corruption and falsehood. That, is following in the footsteps of Christ, and is exactly what his disciples did. They did not return to an arrangement that God condemns. Malachi 2:7- for the lips of a priest should preserve knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, because he's the messenger of the Lord of the Heavenly Armies." Anna, Jesus told us to put on a new wineskin, to hold the new wine, which is his teachings. ( Matt 9:17) I see you holding on to doctrine that you haven't tested, primarily the doctrine of organization. That is a stumbling block that prevents you from seeing the spiritual Temple built on the body of Christ. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22)
  15. Thanks, SM. I'm primarily working off my phone since I don't have my computer right now which makes it a little more difficult. I do have a small iPad but that also is more difficult for me to maneuver It's okay that it is public.
  16. Hello AnnaNana, I can't seem to send you a private message, so I'll place it here: Hello AnnaNana, again I appreciate the scriptures that point to God's people as recipients of His discipline. But I just wanted to share with you a few things about my exodus from the organization. The first thing that I was looking for, was the body, more anointed ones. I knew in my heart that they carried truth if they stayed close to Jesus Christ. The primary message of the New Testament is to these anointed ones, (Matt 10:23; Mal 3:1-4), training them in the words of Jesus, to be found favorable in the sight of God at the day Jesus returns. There is much warning given to them, about false prophets/teachers, and falling into the teachings of demons. (Matt 24:24,25; 1 Tim 4:1) These were all warning signs in advance on how to guard ourselves from the wicked one. Jesus said, "see I'm telling you beforehand". Jesus knew that in the last days the remnant of anointed ones would be tested severely under the hand of the adversary. ( Luke 22:31; Rev 13:1,2,5-7,10) This happens right before the kingdom arrives. God wants a refined priesthood to serve Him, Jesus Christ, and the children of God in the Kingdom. We are refined by the fire of His word, and whatever works we accomplish during our time on the earth, will judge our acceptance or rejection before Christ. (Jer 23:29;1 Pet 1:7; 1 Cor 3:9-15; 2 Pet 3:10) The apostle John said in 1 John 2:27, that the anointing teaches all things, that we don't need anyone to teach us. Okay, he was speaking to more than one anointed one. He was talking in general to all the anointed ones who were to remain in Christ. We can't learn truth as a single anointed one, just as an arm of a physical body is unable to function as an arm, unless it is attached to a working body. In chapter 12 of 1st Corinthians, Paul describes the members of the body, that spiritual body built on Jesus. (John 2:19-21) There is to be no schism between its members. (1 Cor 12:25) Even though each one has been given his or her own gift in the spirit, each one is valuable for the building up at the body, and our Head, Jesus Christ, directs the body to work in unison. (Eph 4:12; 2:20-22) And it is the same spirit, so we respect that spirit by respecting all members of Christ's body. (1 Cor 12:15-24) The wicked slave in the GB has created a schism between themselves and the rest of the anointed. They have exalted themselves over Christ's bodily members. (Matt 24:48-51) This has caused the covenant with Christ to be broken. (Dan 11:32) While in there, we were listening to false prophets. We were living in darkness, from the light of Jesus, who is the light of Truth. (John 14:6; 8:12). So the words of 1st Peter 2:5,9; Eph 5:6-11, describe this chosen people as coming out of darkness and into the light of Christ. We were not a unified people in the organization because that is not allowed. It is imperative that the anointed recognize each member of the body of Christ, so that truth in spirit is fed to each anointed one. Jesus is described also as the vine, "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself, it must remain in the vine neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me". John 15:4 I have noticed many anointed leave the organization and go about proclaiming their individual message on their own. They have no desire to bond together under Christ. Their actions go against scripture, yet they are to be one body, under one spirit, and to cherish each member under their Head. (Eph 4:4, 25). Do you think Jesus Christ would bless a rogue anointed one with full truth if they fail to recognize his other bodily members and their gifts in spirit, or would he bless those who have no respect for the other branches that are attached to the Vine? This is how the arrangement of the spiritual Temple is set up. The Bride of Christ has many members, but they are all one under Jesus, their husband. I hope you can see what I'm talking about. Our teachings should all be in harmony. It is the fruit that Jesus pointed out in Matthew chapter 7:15-19. If we think we have a message to God's holy ones who have been under captivity of lies, (Col 2:8) then they are the primary individuals who should receive the message, ( Matt 10:23; Rev 18:4-8), and we compare it with the message Jesus has given to all of his members, simply because they are members of his body. JWs not anointed, should listen as well, but they are not God's chosen people. (Isa 43:10; Mal 2:7) God and Jesus individually chooses His people through the outpouring of Holy Spirit, not through a 100 question format that leads to baptism into an organization. The anointed priests are "Jews", those not anointed are "Gentiles". (Rom 9:6-8, 25-26; 1Pet 2:9-10) These priests are to be the teachers of Truth, not the "Gentiles". This is why the organization is blasphemy. It has set up foreigners to rule over those whom God has chosen to teach truth. (Eph 44:6-9; Mal 2:7; Matt 24:15,16) The covenant God made with His priesthood is perpetual, everlasting, no matter if it is a literal priesthood from the days of ancient Israel, or the spiritual priesthood in the anointed today that replaces the physical. (Lev 7:35-36; 1 Cor 15:46) The apostles taught as priests, they were the messengers of truth, and we are to follow in their footsteps. So,Jesus was teaching his 12 apostles to be servants of each other, no matter what position in the body they hold. We can't assume we know everything about the opening of the meaning of Revelation, when Jesus may have given that understanding to another member of the body. Whomever Jesus chooses, the ring of truth in the words of that prophet, or that teacher, will be according to his words. The apostle Paul said if there's a prophet among us, we are to hear and weigh what this prophet says. (1 Thess 5:19-22; 2 Pet 1:20,21; 1 Cor 12:28; Rom 12:6; Acts 2:17,18) I knew nothing when I came out of the organization, but I did know I wanted to understand truth, and even though I was anointed, I knew that the source of that truth would be through the anointed body of Christ. We cannot assume we know everything, Anna. We cannot assume that Jesus is neglecting the rest of the members of his body, so we test the spirits and make sure that the fruit produced by an anointed one is in harmony with the word of God. Pearl Doxsey has had visions pertaining to the opening of the scrolls of Revelation, and what its message holds for Gods people under covenant in the last days. Rachel Pruden Roman, anointed, also bears the message to God's anointed ones, as well as myself. I learned the importance of the body of Christ from Pearl. I support these 2 women wholeheartedly and in harmony with the message of truth. I do hope you will consider our message. https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2012/05/where-is-true-religion.html https://inthenightaflyingscroll.blogspot.com/2021/11/get-out-of-her-my-people-rev184.html https://www.christsdisciple.com/
  17. No, I don't know this person "well" except for listening to a few of his videos. You have a lot of, well some, good qualities that I personally can detect, SM; but I will say this again, you don't know what it's like to be a JW, you have no clue what living that life is all about. You certainly have no basis to say that the man was telling a falsehood about what he witnessed during his time in Bethel. You are either highly naive, or highly arrogant in your assumptions.
  18. The Watchtower has hidden pedophiles for years among their ranks, although many JWs refuse to believe it. In light of that gross immorality, to also believe that Bethel doesn't have, or had issues with homosexuality, is just as foolish.
  19. Excellent, and that should apply across the board, right? Especially concerning truth that would come from the Father and the Son. We should all try to apply what you said. Shouldn't your good words apply to the teachings of your organization? Consider these three samples, where all teachings were accepted as truth in their day, but they all turned out to be just opinions - adulterated, blemished, corrupted opinions by men who claim to to be sent from God. (Matt 24:4,5,23-25; Acts 20:29-31; 1 Tim 4:1) (Provided by JWfacts) Watchtower incorrectly promoted teachings on the following dates that they no longer accept:539 A.D.178017981799182918401844184618721874187818801881189119061910191419151917191819201921192519261928193219351940s195119752000
  20. It's hard to say how many people will be at this gathering. My main reason for posting it is to show up the hypocrisy of the organization. It is not a hidden fact that the the growth in publishers worldwide is dwindling. And the growth numbers of those who have left, or have been disfellowshipped, are increasing. When I became a JW in 1981, I was thrilled to believe that this organization was growing, and that it would continue to grow by leaps and bounds over the years, as I was told, over and over. This was a fulfillment of prophecy, of Isaiah chapter 2, where God's "house"/Watchtower would be the destination for all nations to stream to! But the governing leaders can't make that claim anymore. Who knows what spin they have put on their dwindling numbers. Their focus now, is to protect what they have built, protect their investments, protect their false image through advertising which has as its goal, to crush the apostates. This is not an earthly "Zion" that people will stream to much longer. Isaiah chapter 2 mentions that the law should go out of Zion which is the location of the living temple of God. (Eph 2:20-22; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16; 2 Cor 6:16-18) Zion is not an organization that tells lies and makes false promises... and expects exclusive devotion. (Isa 2:7-11; Rom 1:22-25; Rev 13:1,2,4)
  21. What is the contradiction? The priesthood are living stones of the spiritual Temple of God. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16) It is a temple based on truth, the word of Truth, which is the word of God; and which is also, wisdom. Matt 11:19; Col 2:2-3
  22. Yes God is salvation. And there is no other name under heaven by which we must get saved; that being, Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 Jesus is the chief cornerstone of only one house. I would hope you realize that God has a hand in the development of this house of "living stones". It is God's choice who is anointed, to train and refine his priesthood to eventually serve His children in the Kingdom. Since this Temple is spiritual, not built by the will of man but by the will of God, He also, is this spiritual house. Prov 24:3 It is a house built on wisdom, and since God is the wisdom of Truth, as well as His Son (John 14:6), He is very concerned that those whom He has chosen to be part of it, are listening to men, submitting to the rulership of false teachers. These teachers build their own house, and ignore the house that God has begun on Christ and on the apostles. Eph 2:19-20. Jer 22:13-14; Haggai 1:4,9 For those anointed priests who leave "Babylon" where spiritual harlots of "Israel" teach lies (Rev 13:11,12; 18:4-8), and instead, submit to their head Jesus Christ to be cleansed of idolatry to an organization, they earnestly desire to obey his teachings and not the doctrine of men. They look forward to the day that the house that God has built, will be established in the heavens and on earth. Rev 21:2-4 That would be New Jerusalem, the Holy City, the Temple of God. He has only one dwelling in Spirit, it is the house that He has built on the light of Truth. He chooses His house to dwell in, not men. Acts 7:48-50; 17:24-25,29 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name." Rev 3:12 "But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life." Rev 21
  23. @AnnaNana, you quoted 1 Corinthians 15:46 - "However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual." Please consider these scriptures: John 2:19-22; Matt 16:18; 1 Pet 2:4-10;Eph 2:20-22; 1 Cor 3:16-17; 2 Cor 6:14-18 You said that Jesus has sent you to declare the sins being committed in the organization. So you must believe that Jesus considers this earthly organization as his own house; one that requires treasures on earth in order to exist. (Matt 6:19-21,24) It's leaders beg for donations to keep it running. Does that signify the blessing of Holy Spirit on it? The house mentioned in the scriptures I gave you, is the spiritual temple of God that has replaced the early earthly temples. (1 Cor 15:46) It is a spiritual house, which is built with treasures in heaven. If Jesus has sent you, and tells you that the organization will be cleansed, is he not betraying the house he has built on his body? "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matt 7:24-27 The organization began building its "house" on shifting sand over 100 years ago. Proof is in its discarded teachings that are not taught today. Jesus, is said to be guiding this house; and yet he is the rock - his teachings never vary, they are trustworthy, they are genuine truth. We can't say that about the organization, can we.
