In reply to my statement, our beloved  Governing Body, I can say this from my personal meeting of some of our Governing Body Members!  These are most friendly, kind, and caring men I've ever met!  In 2006,  I met Br. Samuel F. Herd, at one of my Circuit Assemblies!  In 2010, I met Br. David Splane at my "REMAIN CLOSE TO  JEHOVAH"  District Convention, and I've met Br. Stephen Lett, twice. The first time I met him was in 2012, at our "SAFEGUARD  YOUR HEART" District Convention, and in 2015, at our "IMITATE JESUS" District Convention. Another has changed since then, now it's not called "District" it's been renamed "Regional". I have the original photos taken with them too!  These imperfect men were appointed to our Governing Body, that Jehovah entrusted though his holy spirit to take care of his Worldwide Organization. Now, there is so much for these appointed members to take care of, now they have appointed helpers to different committees. In 2020, this was the first time ever, The Governing Body, through Jehovah's holy spirit guiding them, had to make several major decisions. First, was the decision about The Memorial, since it couldn't be held at our Kingdomhalls, it was announced  in a letter from The Governing Body, that  we had to have it on Zoom!  So, we had to have the Memorial Celebration in our own private homes, on that most sacred night, and some had  prepared  the  unleavened bread, and had a glass of wine next to it, and displayed their beautiful table settings with their precious emblems!  The next major decision that had to be made was what to decide about having our "ALWAYS REJOICE" Regional Convention. We couldn't hold it in other countries, like they used to have years ago, because of the Pandemic, so another letter from The Governing Body, said, we were going to have all 3 days on JW Stream, but it was by invitation only, and it was sent to all our emails! We happily viewed it different days and  enjoyed all 3 days of our most needed Spiritual Food. Yes, I personally feel that  these appointed imperfect men,, is our beloved  Governing Body, also referred to in the Bible, as The Faithful and Discreet Slave! These 8 appointed imperfect men: Stephen Lett, David Splane, Gerrit Losch, Geoffrey Jackson, Samuel F. Herd, Mark Sanderson, Anthony Morris 111, and newly appointed Kenneth Cook Jr. are a small group of mature Christians who provide direction for Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide. Their work is twofold: They oversee the preparation of Bible- based  instruction through the publications, meetings, and school's of  Jehovah's Witnesses! They look to the Universal Sovereign, Jehovah, and to the Head of the congregation, Jesus, for guidance. You can find all this information in my reply on J.W. Org!

In answer to me worshipping The Governing Body, is not true! I dedicated my life to serve Jehovah, I belong to Jehovah, I live for Jehovah, and I will die for Jehovah! I deeply respect our 8 Governing Body members! They have the authority from Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Congregation, and his heavenly Father, Jehovah, has given him the authority to rule in heaven! They direct the Governing Body, through Jehovah's holy spirit, over Jehovah's Worlwide Organization as a Body!  I just don't understand why 4Jah2Me is even allowed to be on this website, he plainly stated he is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses!  To me, he's an apostate trying to confuse us, true Jehovah's Witnesses on here! I joined this website, because as one of the true over 8 million and growing Jehovah's Witnesses,  I believe in Jehovah, and have my own personal relationship with him, now for 48 years, and I will never question, or doubt anything about Jehovah, or his appointed  anointed ones, by his holy spirit, the 8 Imperfect men, who have Jehovah's approval, and backing 100%.

Why are you questioning Jehovah? Through his holy spirit, our beloved governing body receives instructions! Just reading  about your topic really makes me wonder, are you even one of Jehovah's Witnesses? If you were, you wouldn't ever question our heavenly father, Jehovah! When you dedicate you life to serve Jehovah, you belong to Jehovah, and he through his holy spirit directs our Governing Body! You develop a close relationship with Jehovah, through our faith, and our trust we believe in Jehovah, and I'm so proud to say, that I have now for 48 years now, and over 8 million and growing everyday, people of the world are accepting Bible Studies, to develop their own personal relationship with Jehovah! Right now, were all living in a Pandemic, thousands of people are dying everyday, sadly 5,000 of our Spiritual Brothers and Sisters have passed away from Covid19! Jehovah has promised us in Romans 5:12: All those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice... all our loved ones will be resurrected from the dead! So we just need to trust and rely upon Jehovah, for his protection from The Great Tribulation coming soon!!!! Also Jehovah always takes control over everything in his own due time!  The construction of Warwick began in September 2015, and was completed in April! On April 29, 2017, Saturday, hosted the second of two special open-house receptions, drawing a larger crowd, then the first event!  In a few years the construction of Ramapo will begin in 2022 and will be completed in December 2026, all with the backing of Jehovah, according to his will! So never question Jehovah!!!!!
 

According to the INSIGHT ON THE SCRIPTURES Vol.2, page 1225 in the HIGHLIGHTS OF ZECHARIAH, This was a prophecy about "Sprout" which was Jesus Christ! As all these eight visions come true The man named Sprout will build Jehovah's temple and serve as king- priest!  There were eight visions! The  third vision  was referring to the young man with a measuring rope prepares to measure Jerusalem, but an angel foretells more growth as well as Jehovah's protection for the city. As in Zechariah 2:1 states: a man with a measuring line in his hand... but the INSIGHT ON THE SCRIPTURES refers to the man as a young man; and the measuring line to a measuring rope! Hello everyone, I would love to share with  you two more wonderful experiences that happened to me recently in the Field Service! On May I2, 2018, Saturday,  a lovely sister and I were going door- to- door and I had the latest issue No.2 2018 Watchtower, "What Does the Future Hold?" I introduced myself, and the sister,  then I asked the sweet black lady named Esther," Want do you think about your Future,"? and shortly after I ask her the question, She said "I 'll take that magazine",  we were both shocked, she had responded so quickly! In 46 years, ( July 29, 1972),  since I've been baptized, and went in the door- to- door work,  this was the first time this has ever happened to me!!!!!  My next wonderful experience I had was yesterday, June 23, 2018! It was the first day of our Convention Campaign work, Our Regional  2018 "Be Courageous" Convention starts on July 13-15 2108 in Frisco, Texas! We also were going door- to -door in the Invitation work, and my lovely sister and I were working together, we went to the last house on the street, and a really nice black man named Ron, opened the door, and I introduced myself, and the sister I was with, and showed him our invitation, the times, the date, and any other questions he might have, I directed him to JW.ORG on the back of the invitation, he was really nice, and seemed that he was interested. I hope he does attend our Convention!  I'm going to follow up on these wonderful and hopeful return visits!  At our beautiful Kingdomhall, after Field Service, almost half of my Congregation, attended our Cart Witnessing Training! We were handed a Public Witnessing Guideline List, and after everyone signed the list, who had attended, the Service Committee, has to approve of everyone if their qualified to partake in the Cart Witnessing Program! I've already did Cart Witnessing three times, so I know that I'm already approved! Also the Brothers already told me earlier! Were trying to get two colleges in the Dallas area, and maybe the Dallas Public Library!!! Also the Dart Stations!!!! Our State Fair of Texas is coming up soon on September 28- October 21, 2018!! We had such wonderful experiences, last year, and our congregation was assigned to be a Hub! Jehovah is always blessing me, and as long as I continue to remain loyal and faithful to Jehovah, he will always bless me, and take care of me!!!  I found out on JW.ORG ,On May 18, 2018, Friday, a Boeing 737 crashed, shortly after take off from Havana, Cuba,  113 passengers, with only one person surviving,  and sadly, a Witness family of three, a father, a mother, and their 22 year old son  died in the plane crash!  My heart and prayers go out to their families, may Jehovah comfort them right now!!! Soon we will see them again and our loved ones in the resurrection!!! This is so true. It shouldn't, but it still surprises me to hear about famous people like Mike Wallace (CBS:"60 Minutes") attempting suicide, Anthony Bourdain (CNN:"Places Unknown") committing suicide, among others.. Most of the cases of suicide appear to be related to long-term clinical depression, which famous personalities will naturally hide for as long as possible.
Even when a person appears to have committed suicide over a specific incident it is often true that they have battled depression for a long time and considered suicide more often than people know. A specific incident such as a financial loss, scandal, or loss of a loved one might just be the "final straw." Reports from psychiatrists have sometimes confirmed that even the old "romantic" notion of an elderly man or woman who dies within weeks or months of the death of an elderly spouse is often merely a form of depression where the surviving spouse stops caring for themselves, stops medications, etc. 
This is no doubt true, but it can be misleading. While I was at Bethel for just 4 years, there were two suicides and one attempted suicide. All were persons who appeared to be serving Jehovah whole-heartedly. Not long after I left Bethel, a well-known brother who had served at Bethel at very high levels of responsibility for decades jumped to his death. He had threatened suicide over an incident concerning Brother Knorr some 50 years earlier. A Gilead graduate (a sister) committed suicide during Knorr's time.
I don't know anything about the truth of the claim, but psychiatrists have reported on their general findings about treatment of Jehovah's Witnesses. From what I can tell, there is no evidence that Witnesses suffer depression any less than any other group of people.  The highest groups are often reported as ex-soldiers, dentists, doctors.
I think we also need to remember that those who leave Jehovah's Witnesses over scandal or moral failings, in my experience, are very often anxious to return to the organization as soon as possible. But those who leave over doctrinal differences or "conscientious objectors" to the Witnesses are not allowed to come back because they reject one or more doctrines. Because they are therefore "apostates" they are usually treated much more harshly by their families and have therefore suffered the loss of ALL their loved ones, not just a spouse or child.
I notice that @Jack Ryan has often pointed out the problem of the Witnesses' treatment of such ex-JWs: grandparents who reject their grandchildren, parents who reject their children, grandchildren who reject their grandparents, etc.
I do believe that Jack Ryan is an "apostate" but I think he also does us a favor in bringing these things up. It's less likely, but even an average person at the door who is not an apostate could bring them up, too, and we would not be prepared to defend our position on shunning. Sometimes when the media have brought up this question to responsible persons in the organization, their answers have even misled the press by claiming that we don't shun. This is a false statement, and shows that they were not prepared to defend the Biblical position.
Watchtowers in the 1980's made it clear that we should shun our loved ones even if they still [claim to] love Jehovah and believe the Bible. But when Jack Ryan brings it up, I think he makes us think about what it means to be "having no natural affection" (2 Timothy 3:3).
So yes, there is always a danger that we are "associating" with "apostates" on forums like this. I think it's a matter of one's own conscience whether we treat this as association in the sense of joining and supporting the sinful conduct of a person. I personally appreciate the opportunity it gives us to ask our own questions more honestly and follow the Biblical instruction:
(1 Peter 3:15) . . .always ready to make a defense before everyone who demands of you a reason. . . "Everyone" could include apostates, media, posers, even Satan himself. Michael disputed with Satan long after he had become apostate, and was still very "civil" with him. (Just as the remainder of the verse above in 1 Peter reminds us for "everyone . . . doing so with a mild temper and deep respect.")
(Jude 9) . . .But when Miʹcha·el the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms. . .  

I didn't watch the video. I might have but for some reason the sound wasn't very loud and I was in a noisy place. I just wanted to say that I thought that it was good that you expressed your opinion about it. Jack Ryan is not a JW and I assume he put it here for JWs to discuss. It might have been to try to embarrass JWs and/or it might have been to get JWs to think about policies that might be dangerous. I am getting a sense (after hearing about a recent rally of ex-JWs) that perhaps the suicide rate for ex-JWs really is much higher than the normal population, and it doesn't really surprise me that much. It also doesn't surprise me that the suicide rate for ex-soldiers is very high, but for different reasons.

I'm not sure if you are still around given the sideline responses from the men who are prolific commenters but I thought I would respond since I'm a single sister over 50yo and can feel your pain.    
As we are all aware, Jehovah created men and women to have companionship and have an intimate partner to share our deepest feelings with, find support when we "fall" and some to share our joys and happiness.   However, right from the "get go", that purpose was thwarted by Satan and human selfishness.   That said, I know that lonely feeling and desire for close companionship, intimacy and a sense of security.    My experience and observation is that marriage isn't necessarily the cure for the void one feels as a single person so caution is necessary.   My moto is:  Men are like parking places, the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped (-:    Don't get me wrong, I do think there are good single men out there but they are rare.   Personally, I have accepted the fact that I won't find that "rare" one, however, I know sisters (over 50yo)  who have found good partners and seem happy (but not problem free).   My cynicism is obvious I know, but it helps me focus on outward things instead of inward feelings.  I have a full life as a servant of Jehovah and have many interests that fill the "quiet times".   I accept that statistically my chances of finding a compatible mate are slim to none (Satan has done a great job of culling the male gender through ions of wars causing an uneven number of males to females), therefore, I refuse to let feelings of loneliness consume me.   
I hope I don't come across as lecturing you or seeming insensitive, but I  wanted you to get an idea of where I'm coming from.  I do understand your deep feelings and know we all cope in different ways.   As sisters, we can support each other by honestly sharing those feelings (which I'm glad you did), having a good cry and a good laugh ( I can be more humorous than I'm being right now).   So I would say, "Hang in there sis! Hello to all my spiritual brothers and sisters! It's been a while since I've posted a topic! I chose the topic "Never Give Up on Jehovah" because three weeks ago my life changed! I was involved in a car wreck! This guy was speeding down his street, I stopped at the stop sign, then I proceeded to go, then he hit me! I hit my chest and couldn't breathe! Someone called 911, the ambulance came, I just suffered some bruises! I'm ok now, thanks to Jehovah, physically,  and not as sore as I was! The police came and wrote down our insurance information! My car had to be towed to the Dallas Police Pound where it's still there! I filed a claim against him, he filed a claim against me!  I'm still waiting to hear from my insurance adjuster! I've had to listen to my meetings over the telephone! But, even though I'm not there, my heart is! They always keep us in their prayers! I attended my meeting Sunday, a week ago! Everyone was so happy to see me! My eyes teared up seeing my spiritual family again! A very sweet sister, picked me up, took me on Saturday, to have a share in our regional convention campaign work! Were in our second week! I would also like to add, when we finished working our street, Jehovah's angels were protecting us, a sister came and told us not to work that street! A mentally ill couple had a baseball bat swinging at Jehovah's Witnesses, because they were mad at us and they hated us!  Our "DONT GIVE UP" regional convention is days away! August 25-27! I'm so excited!  She and I signed up to clean our section were assigned to after each session is over for the day! My very sweet spiritual sister is taking me and her two children, all 3 days!  I haven't worked in two weeks, my son paid my bills, I have one more check this week, it just  goes to pay my rent! Yes, I'm human, I've cried, but mainly,  I pray to Jehovah to give me the strength to cope with my present situation! The blessing Jehovah has bestowed upon me, is some sisters told me Sunday, about a job, being a caregiver for a sister! Today, I found out I got the job! I thanked Jehovah for taking care of not only my spiritual needs, but my physical needs! As of July 29, this year I've been baptized 45 years! I'm so proud to be hi s loyal servant!  I hope you like my topic I chose to write about! I know no matter what I go through I will never give up on Jehovah! My very sweet spiritual sister is taking me and her two children, all 3 days!  I haven't worked in two weeks, my son paid my bills, I have one more check this week, it just  goes to pay my rent! Yes, I'm human, I've cried, but mainly,  I pray to Jehovah to give me the strength to cope with my present situation! The blessing Jehovah has bestowed upon me, is some sisters told me Sunday, about a job, being a caregiver for a sister! Today, I found out I got the job! I thanked Jehovah for taking care of not only my spiritual needs, but my physical needs! As of July 29, this year I've been baptized 45 years! I'm so proud to be hi s loyal servant!  I hope you like my topic I chose to write about! I know no matter what I go through I will never give up on Jehovah! Hello to all my spiritual brothers and sisters! It's been a while since I've posted a topic! I chose the topic "Never Give Up on Jehovah" because three weeks ago my life changed! I was involved in a car wreck! This guy was speeding down his street, I stopped at the stop sign, then I proceeded to go, then he hit me! I hit my chest and couldn't breathe! Someone called 911, the ambulance came, I just suffered some bruises! I'm ok now, thanks to Jehovah, physically,  and not as sore as I was! The police came and wrote down our insurance information! My car had to be towed to the Dallas Police Pound where it's still there! I filed a claim against him, he filed a claim against me!  I'm still waiting to hear from my insurance adjuster! I've had to listen to my meetings over the telephone! But, even though I'm not there, my heart is! They always keep us in their prayers! I attended my meeting Sunday, a week ago! Everyone was so happy to see me! My eyes teared up seeing my spiritual family again! A very sweet sister, picked me up, took me on Saturday, to have a share in our regional convention campaign work! Were in our second week! I would also like to add, when we finished working our street, Jehovah's angels were protecting us, a sister came and told us not to work that street! A mentally ill couple had a baseball bat swinging at Jehovah's Witnesses, because they were mad at us and they hated us!  Our "DONT GIVE UP" regional convention is days away! August 25-27! I'm so excited!  She and I signed up to clean our section were assigned to after each session is over for the day!
