TO REASON MATURE BROTHERS AND SISTERS. - Â What is the 666 mark? The slave says: Many human beings, in word or deed, symbolically carry this mark that identifies them as "slaves" or "soldiers" of the "beast". (Revelation 13: 3, 4.) The enemies of God allow the mark of the beast, the mysterious number that contains its name, to be engraved on the forehead and in one hand. This gives them great opportunities for economic and commercial progress, but it brings them the wrath of God and excludes them from the millennial kingdom, Rev. 13:16; 14: 9; 20: 4 QUESTION: Is this mark irreversible, that is, can it not be erased? The people of the world have already been marked with the 666 mark of the beast. Remember that the slave teaches that the marking began in 1922 and was renewed in 1945 when the UN came on the scene. All who receive the mark are condemned to eternal death. Their names are not in the book of Jehovah's life. The problem is that if the masses of humanity have already been condemned to the second death, what is the point of preaching the good news to them?

Of course, I don't really believe this in the slightest. But I thought I would put it out here just to raise some interest in the actual meaning of Gog and Magog. I looked on Google and could not find any places where anyone had made the connection yet between GOOGLE and GOG. This surprised me, because in Hebrew the verse at Ezekiel 38:2 actually says the following in the Masoretic text: See it here: https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/eze/38/2/t_conc_840002 בֶּן־אָדָם שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ אֶל־גֹּוג אֶרֶץ הַמָּגֹוג נְשִׂיא רֹאשׁ מֶשֶׁךְ וְתֻבָל וְהִנָּבֵא עָלָֽיו׃ אֶל־גֹּוג means when transliterated EL-GOG. But the O between the two G's is actually a 'vav' which when used as a vowel (as it is here) is not just used for O, but also for U, pronounced OO. Therefore: אֶל־גֹּוג can also be transliterated as EL-GOOG. Transliterated left to right as it appears on paper, this is אֶל־גֹּוג or GOOG-LE. Quite a coincidence for a word that has a curious prophetic meaning in Scripture, and a word that is so ubiquitous on the Internet that it transcends translation. It is a trademark, a mark of that wild, beastly thing we call the Internet. Of course, that particular "wild beast" connection has already been done:

È qui che ci vuole sapienza: chi ha perspicacia calcoli il numero della bestia feroce, perché è un numero dÂ’uomo. Il suo numero è 666 – Rivelazione 13:18   Rivelazione è una successione di sette. Tra i principali possiamo ricordare i 7 sigilli, le 7 trombe e le 7 coppe dellÂ’ira di Dio. Dal raffronto di queste scritture comprendiamo che il numero sette ha relazione con i propositi di Dio per la terra. Sappiamo che in Rivelazione si parla di una bestia, chiamata “falso profeta”, la quale vuole prendere il posto di Dio** (vedi la seconda nota in calce). Le parole del Signore al riguardo sono chiare: sorgeranno falsi cristi e falsi profeti per sviare “se possibile” anche gli eletti – Matteo 24:23-25 In un articolo precedente abbiamo visto che lÂ’unico modo per sviare “anche gli eletti” è che questi segni e prodigi siano letterali ma adesso vedremo un aspetto ancora più subdolo in riferimento allo stesso soggetto. Ogni cristiano farebbe bene, invece di perdersi in chiacchiere sulla giustezza e “santità ” della propria organizzazione religiosa, a studiare attentamente le Scritture preparandosi per quello che dovrà avvenire. Per riuscire a comprendere cosa farà il falso profeta per sviare “anche gli eletti” dobbiamo attentamente riflettere sul numero 666, ovvero il numero che non è altro che “un numero dÂ’uomo” - Rivelazione 13:18 Ricordiamo intanto che questo numero è scritto come 6 + 60 + 600 e quindi, a rigor di termini, non è 6 – 6 - 6 ma 666. Tuttavia, riflettendo anche sul numero 10, ovvero il numero per il quale il 6 è moltiplicato più volte, sembra ragionevole supporre che sia stato un modo per enfatizzare il numero 6. In ogni caso il fatto che questo numero sia stato scritto come 6+60+600 ci ricorda lÂ’immagine che Nabucodonosor fece erigere che misurava 6 cubiti di larghezza e 60 di altezza – Daniele 3:1 Questo collegamento sembra appropriato dal momento che il resoconto storico parla di falsa adorazione (Daniele 3:4-7; Rivelazione 13:14), prova di lealtà dei veri adoratori (Daniele 3:16-18; Rivelazione 14:9, 10) e anche chi ci fosse, in realtà , dietro quellÂ’immensa immagine, ovvero il re, lÂ’uomo, Nabucodonosor – Daniele 3:15 Esattamente come ai tempi di Nabucodonosor, abbiamo imparato che dietro questo falso profeta si nasconde lÂ’ultimo re dominante e infatti c’è un motivo per cui, questa bestia, farà esclusivamente i suoi interessi – confronta Rivelazione 13:14 Da questi raffronti e riflessioni scritturali è difficile credere che il numero 6 significhi semplicemente “imperfezione umana contro perfezione divina” (vedi il libro “Rivelazione il suo culmine” alle pagine 196-198 ). Semmai è un contrasto tra la vera adorazione e la falsa, collegamento semplice ma impossibile da fare per coloro che sono convinti da oltre un secolo che la falsa adorazione sia rappresentata da un altro soggetto. Ovviamente che la falsa adorazione sia enormemente inferiore sotto tutti i punti di vista a quella vera è fuori discussione. Questo infatti potrebbe spiegare la scelta del 6 in contrasto con il 7 ma ciò identifica soltanto la qualità del soggetto, non il soggetto stesso. Il significato non è limitato alla “superiorità contro lÂ’inferiorità ” ma proprio alla vera adorazione contro la falsa.   Questo lo capiamo anche dallÂ’evidente e voluto contrasto che si fa in Rivelazione 13:11-18; 14:1 In queste scritture, infatti, si parla di questa bestia con due corna dÂ’agnello e si vede il contrasto con il Vero Agnello. Si vede inoltre il marchio di questa bestia in contrasto con il suggello dei 144.000. Non è evidente che sono due figure agli antipodi e che il contrasto non è casuale? Se dunque in Rivelazione vediamo 7 sigilli, 7 trombe e 7 coppe, attraverso le quali si compie la volontà di Dio per la terra, cosa possiamo dunque dire del “marchio” che la bestia feroce appone attraverso il falso profeta, ovvero il 666? In vari articoli precedenti abbiamo visto che lÂ’ultimo re dominante, una volta vinta la guerra contro il suo storico nemico, farà molte cose per ingannare lÂ’intera umanità . Infatti Rivelazione, parlando del falso profeta, dice che svia “lÂ’intera terra abitata a causa dei segni che le fu concesso di compiere”. Quali segni compirà per riuscire in questa impresa? LÂ’apostolo Paolo spiega che lÂ’operazione di Satana è “accompagnata da ogni opera potente, da segni e prodigi menzogneri e da ogni ingiusto inganno” (2 Tessalonicesi 2:9, 10) e quindi dobbiamo aspettarci di tutto e di più. LÂ’articolo intitolato “Il progetto Blue Beam” ha messo in luce le spaventose potenzialità della tecnologia militare e gli usi ingannatori che se ne potrebbero fare. Comunque, oltre a queste cose, con buona probabilità lÂ’ultimo re dominante farà ricostruire il tempio di Gerusalemme per accogliere il falso profeta il quale si spaccia, appunto, per divinità . In quale altro luogo potrebbe “risiedere” colui che si spaccia per Dio? Quale strategia più efficace potrebbe mettere in atto per sottomettere i popoli e raffreddare quel focolaio da cui è scaturita lÂ’ultima grande guerra? - confronta Rivelazione 18:24 Riflettiamo. Abbiamo visto il contrasto tra Cristo e il falso cristo; abbiamo visto il contrasto tra il marchio del falso profeta e il suggello degli unti. Abbiamo visto il contrasto tra il tempio di fattura umana e il tempio spirituale che riguarda la condizione degli eletti sacerdoti – confronta Rivelazione 11:1 Sembra proprio che questo soggetto cerchi di copiare le profezie bibliche, adulterandole, con lÂ’intento di ingannare lÂ’umanità .  “Guardatevi dai falsi profeti che vengono da voi in veste di pecore, ma dentro sono lupi famelici" - Matteo 7:15  Sapendo chi c’è davvero dietro a tutto questo, possiamo anche riflettere sulla rinascita dello Stato di Israele. Noi sappiamo che il ripristino e il ripopolamento di Israele è una profezia che dovrà adempiersi in senso letterale ma cos’è accaduto nel 1948? EÂ’ rinato lo stato di Israele e, da un punto di vista umano, è sembrata lÂ’adempimento di una profezia biblica. Ovviamente la rinascita di Israele è una profezia biblica ma il punto è comprendere se ciò che è avvenuto nel 1948 sia avvenuto per volontà di Dio e quindi se quellÂ’Israele è lo stesso Israele attraverso il quale tutta lÂ’umanità si sarebbe benedetta e sarebbe durato per sempre. Grazie allÂ’accurata conoscenza della Parola di Dio abbiamo compreso che lÂ’attuale Israele è una mistificazione del popolo di Dio. Si spaccia per la “vergine figlia di Sion” quando è, in realtà , una sordida prostituta – Lamentazioni 2:13; Rivelazione 17:5 È anchÂ’essa un inganno globale perché il suo fautore è il padre della menzogna – Giovanni 8:44 Ovviamente la rinascita di Israele non è stato dovuto allÂ’ultimo re dominante, ovvero alla bestia feroce, tanto meno al falso profeta dal momento che questo soggetto non è ancora comparso sulla scena mondiale ma il punto è comprendere il modo di agire di Satana, il vero padre sia di Babilonia la Grande che dellÂ’ultimo impero rimasto nonché falso profeta. Non dimentichiamo come fu accolta la rinascita di Israele dai capi religiosi del mondo, quasi tutti inclusi. Essi parlarono di adempimento di profezia biblica, di volontà di Dio etc etc. Questo avvenimento fu accolto con grande entusiasmo. Ovviamente entro un certo numero di anni molti si accorsero che “qualcosa non tornava” proprio a motivo del comportamento di queste persone e dei vari truschini politici internazionali che hanno caratterizzato questa nazione fin dallÂ’inizio; non sembrava proprio che lÂ’umanità avesse intrapreso un percorso di benedizioni e felicità … . Nonostante ciò ci sono ancora svariate denominazioni religiose “cristiane” che sono convinte che il ripristino della nazione di Israele avvenuto nel 1948 sia avvenuto per volontà di Dio. Quello che dovremmo tener presente è che Satana si è servito di una profezia biblica per sviare lÂ’umanità . Non è stata la prima volta. In armonia con le parole di Paolo che menzionò “ogni ingiusto inganno, segni e portenti di menzogna”, il nostro arcinemico ha cercato di adulterare la Parola di Dio e il suo colpo da maestro sono state proprio le religioni. Non abbiamo bisogno di elencare i crimini della falsa religione, dobbiamo però concentrarci sul fatto che molte di queste persone erano convinte di fare la volontà di Dio e almeno una parte dÂ’esse rimasero convinte dÂ’avere il supporto scritturale fino alla fine. Sicuramente Satana conosce molto bene la Parola di Dio ed è in grado di utilizzarla e torcerne il significato – confronta Matteo 4:5, 6 Dovremmo supporre che, una volta tolta lÂ’ultima restrizione, Egli non si limiterà a fare “segni e prodigi” ma tra i vari “ingiusti inganni” cercherà di imitare le profezie bibliche dando ad intendere che si stiano adempiendo? Sì, e questo lo possiamo dedurre anche da altre scritture. In unÂ’occasione il Signore disse che nel giorno del giudizio molti gli avrebbero detto: “‘Signore, Signore, non abbiamo profetizzato in nome tuo, e in nome tuo espulso demoni, e in nome tuo compiuto molte opere potenti?” ed egli risponde giustamente e categoricamente “Non vi ho mai conosciuti! Andatevene via da me, operatori dÂ’illegalità ” - Matteo 7:22, 23 Abbiamo già visto i segni e i portenti e abbiamo ipotizzato cosa potrebbero includere ma queste persone dicono anche di aver “profetizzato” in nome suo. Ora profetizzare significa annunciare profezie e per poter rispondere convintamente al Signore “lÂ’abbiamo fatto in nome tuo!” questi devono essere sicuri di aver fatto qualcosa di giusto. LÂ’opera di predicazione comprenderà lÂ’annunciazione di profezie, perché è evidente che la Parola di Dio le comprende. Quindi è assolutamente logico che, parlando di “profetizzare”, questi si riferiscano ad una sorta di opera di predicazione. Noi sappiamo che dal ripristino della vera adorazione ripartirà unÂ’opera di predicazione mondiale che sarà la base per il giudizio di questo sistema e per i vari re della terra – Matteo 10:18 Quindi dobbiamo aspettarci unÂ’opera di predicazione che sarà la base per il giudizio ma che costituirà anche una speranza per tutti coloro che ascolteranno e decideranno di far parte di quel popolo che “ha il compito di rendere testimonianza a Gesù” - Rivelazione 12:17 Ovviamente Satana conosce questa e altre profezie riportate nella Bibbia. Dovremmo credere che starà con le mani in mano mentre il popolo di Dio verrà placidamente radunato dalle quattro estremità della terra? Ovviamente no. Sappiamo che egli scatenerà una dura persecuzione contro di loro – Daniele 12:1; Matteo 24:21, 22 Comunque arriviamo a comprendere che il motivo per cui i veri cristiani saranno odiati da tutto il mondo è perché gli inganni di Satana, attraverso il falso profeta, avranno un discreto successo. Se ci si limitasse a perseguitarli e ucciderli, il risultato potrebbe essere opposto a quello sperato e infatti molte persone si sono avvicinate alla Bibbia vedendo come i cristiani fedeli fossero odiati e perseguitati da tutti – confronta Atti 28:21, 22 Anche in passato questo ha spinto molte persone a farsi domande. Che dire, invece, se oltre ai veri cristiani ci fossero altre persone che si spacciano per il popolo di Dio predicando la loro “falsa buona notizia” avendo anche dalla loro “i segni e i prodigi” che il falso profeta o Satana permetterà di compiere? - confronta Galati 1:8, 9 Riflettiamo sulle parole del Signore e dellÂ’apostolo Paolo. Sappiamo ad esempio che il marchio della bestia permetterà di “comprare e vendere” e chi ci dice che chi avrà lÂ’incarico di apporre questo marchio non “profetizzi” che questa era una profezia biblica, che essi erano destinati a sopravvivere alla fine della guerra? - confronta attentamente Rivelazione 13:13-15 Esattamente come la costruzione del Tempio sarà additata come il risultato della volontà di Dio, così come accaduto per Israele, chi ci dice che ciò non avverrà per molte altre cose? I veri cristiani che predicheranno avranno probabilmente alcuni doni dello Spirito Santo e possiamo supporre che per riuscire a raggiungere tutta la terra in poco più di tre anni, ci sarà almeno quello di “parlare in lingue” - confronta Atti 2:17-21 Se nel frattempo ci saranno anche i “testimoni del falso profeta”, possiamo dedurre che anche loro avranno un dono simile, anche se di origine profondamente diversa – confronta 2 Corinti 11:13-15 Già oggi abbiamo avuto unÂ’anteprima di questa capacità in alcune organizzazioni religiose più che in altre. Ecco perché diventa assolutamente più logico e credibile che il falso profeta riesca a sviare lÂ’intera terra abitata. Tutti coloro che non avranno una mente davvero nobile per andare a scavare e non lasciarsi guidare dallÂ’emotività , e soprattutto coloro che non avranno la conoscenza biblica di base per proteggersi da questi inganni, saranno sviati – Ecclesiaste 6:12; Giovanni 17:3; Efesini 5:11-13 A questo punto possiamo fare delle considerazioni anche sulle “impure espressioni ispirate” che usciranno dalla bocca di Satana, della bestia selvaggia e del falso profeta. Tramite chi, queste espressioni ispirate, saranno veicolate? Ovviamente può darsi benissimo che i re della terra abbiano direttamente delle visioni personali perché Satana, cioè uno dei tre soggetti da cui escono direttamente queste espressioni ispirate, non ha probabilmente bisogno di mezzi umani per attuare i suoi inganni. Tuttavia, dal momento che queste espressioni ispirate arrivano anche dalla bestia selvaggia e dal falso profeta, è facile dedurre che i “volenterosi sacerdoti” di questa nuova religione mondiale si dirigeranno dai re della terra per dire loro cosa fare. Predicheranno la loro versione della “buona notizia” convincendoli che è giunto il momento di liberarsi definitivamente dellÂ’ultimo male rimasto: i veri cristiani. Forse diranno che è volontà di Dio che si protegga la “Terra Santa”. Ovviamente non possiamo essere categorici ma considerando le parole degli ingiusti che fino allÂ’ultimo momento chiederanno stupiti “non abbiamo profetizzato in nome tuo?” è quantomeno possibile che essi avranno un ruolo primario fino alla fine del sistema satanico. Se è vero che Satana sarà particolarmente impegnato nel “confondere le acque”, come potremo distinguere i veri adoratori dai falsi in quel periodo di difficoltà e confusione? Ovviamente, prima di tutto, studiando accuratamente la Parola di Dio – Isaia 48:17 UnÂ’altra cosa che Satana non potrà evitare e che lo porterà a smascherarsi anche verso coloro che potrebbero sentirsi confusi, è che i veri adoratori saranno odiati da tutti mentre i falsi adoratori avranno lÂ’approvazione del mondo – Giovanni 15:19 E ovviamente, “i figli di Dio e i figli del Diavolo sono manifesti da questo fatto: Chiunque non pratica la giustizia non ha origine da Dio, né [ha origine da Dio] colui che non ama il suo fratello. Poiché questo è il messaggio che avete udito dal principio, che dobbiamo avere amore gli uni per gli altri; non come Caino, che ebbe origine dal malvagio e scannò il suo fratello. E per quale motivo lo scannò? Perché le sue opere erano malvage, mentre quelle del suo fratello [erano] giuste” - 1 Giovanni 3:10-12 I figli del Diavolo si riveleranno per la loro cattiveria, mancanza di amore e per i loro assassinii.   Possiamo dunque concludere quanto segue. Pur riconoscendo che potrebbero esserci altri particolari interessanti che ancora non conosciamo e che verranno disseppelliti in futuro, questo sembra essere il significato del numero 666 o 6-6-6 a seconda se lo scopo fosse quello di enfatizzare tre volte questo numero. La volontà di Dio in merito alla terra si espleta e si completa attraverso 7 sigilli, 7 trombe e 7 coppe dellÂ’ira – Rivelazione 5:1; 8:2; 16:1 Il falso profeta, spacciandosi per Dio, cercherà di imitare alcuni di questi segni e prodigi dicendo di essere lui stesso Dio e quindi, pur essendo menzogne e di qualità inferiore ai veri segni e prodigi di origine divina, 6 – 6 – 6 significa tutti gli inganni che attuerà per raggiungere questo scopo. EÂ’ interessante notare che, tra questi, ci furono anche “le rane” - Esodo 8:7 Anche questo interessante resoconto sembra indicare che le impure espressioni ispirate simili a rane riguarderanno segni e prodigi che sembreranno di origine divina e lo scopo sarà quello di indurire il cuore dei governanti del mondo a somiglianza di Faraone.    Â

Rev.13:14-18 reads: "14 And it (two horned beast-Rev.13:11) misleads those who dwell on the earth,because of the signs that were granted it to perform in the sight of the wild beast, while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast that had the sword-stroke and yet revived. 15 And there was granted it to give breath to the image of the wild beast, so that the image of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who would not in any way worship the image of the wild beast. Leading up to the mystery of 666, are details about the beast that bears this symbol. Bible names themselves, are indicators of the attributes of a name's bearer (Gen.17:5; 35:18; Luke 6:14). (Ben-Oni means "son of my sorrow") Therefore, it is reasonable that the attributes of the beast that we are given in Rev. ch.13, are expressed in this number. It will therefore be helpful to take a closer look at these attributes. As indicated by my word emphasis above, I will list those attributes of the Wild Beast: * Receives backing from one who is misleading (Rev.13:14; 19:20; Dan.8:24) * Stands as an idolatrous image (Rev.13:14,8; 2Thess.2:4) (this god is false) * "Image" is falsely given life/breath/spirit, so seems a true, spirit-inspired Image / god (Rev.13:15) (to "give breath" is to imbue with "spirit-direction" -John 20:22) (false idols are obviously dead: Psalm 135:15,16,17) The "image of the wild beast" does have "spirit/breath in it's mouth", and "speaks" Rev.13:15). From where did it get this life/"breath"/spirit as a "living" image/god? From the "two-horned" beast! Just as YHWH took from Himself some of the life/spirit within him, and gave it to Adam (Gen.2:7) so too this "two-horned" beast has taken authority ("key" to deception/abyss) to appear to give divine authority and power, from itself, to unleash the Wild Beast/"locust-scorpion" collective) as also having "divine" authority to speak and kill / power (Rev.9:1-3). The Image of the Beast is not one of wood or stone, but one consisting of living men (Joel 1:6; 2:2,4; Rev.9:8-9; Matt.24:21). Since the "earth" accepts the Image of the Wild Beast as spirit-inspired, (due to the "two-horned" beast symbolically breathing upon it), then the "earth" has also assumed, that the "two-horned" false prophet possesses the power and authority to bestow spirit. It is therefore also assumed as possessing spirit itself, and is therefore viewed as god-like. Such "gods"/"objects of reverence/worship", are the Chosen Ones (2Thess.2:4; John 10:35; 1Cor.3:16). The two-horned beast, is an anointed false prophet/witness ("two" horns)**. He is one of the unfaithful, fallen anointed, (Matt.24:48,51; Zech.11:15,16,17) (2Tim.2:20-21; Jer.51:7) wicked stewards, who became one of Satan's weeds. (2Pet.3:17; Rev.8:10,11; 9:1; Matt.13:24,36,37,38,39,40,42; 24:48,51). Therefore, this "image" progeny of the "two-horned" beast, is a misleading deceptive tool used by this false prophet (Rev.13:14-15; 19:20). -After this image is given life/"breath"/spirit/authority (Rev.9:3), it can "kill" those who do not worship it (Rev.13:15). The collective beast is made up of living representatives of this "image" (Rev.9:3; 13:15), just as the faithful anointed make up (and represent) the body of Christ. As we represent our Lord...the locust-scorpions represent the beast. If anointed ones unwittingly subject themselves to this image, they will not be "killed" (Rev.9:5,6,4), but they also will not get sealed. If they refuse to worship the wild beast, then they will be "killed" (Rev.11:7; 13:15; John 16:2; Zech.11:4-5) and sealed (Rev.15:2; 6:9,11; Mark 8:35; Rom.6:5; Heb.13:13; Matt.25:6). -The image enslaves people's minds (2Cor.10:5; Deut.11:18 antithesis) and power (Prov.3:27 "hand"), and makes these obedient to the false prophet's lies. (Rev.13:16; Isa.44:20) (see " MARK on the Forehead") -Unless you are a worshiper of the image of the wild beast, you cannot "buy" or "sell" (Rev.3:18; Matt.25:9,10; Rev.18:11; Isa.24:1,2,3,4; Eze.7:10,11,12,13; Zech.11:4,5) (Matt.21:12; Luke 17:28,30; Matt.13:44) This is the spiritual currency of power, devotion, provisions, counterfeit divine approval, authority, and obedience. The wild beast oversees all such "buying" and "selling" (Rev.13:17) Based upon these attributes of the image of the wild beast, we can now be helped to "calculate" the "number" of the wild beast, which is the tangible reality of the idolatrous "image". We are given two additional clues. It is a "man's number", and it is "666" (Rev.13:18). The interpretation of Revelation's symbols must be by God in order to be true (Gen.40:8). The only way to access God's interpretation, is through scripture alone (John 17:17; 2Pet.1:20,21; 2Tim.3:15,16,17; Rev.22:18) Only if we let this simple rule guide us, will our understanding (and our "lamp") be bright (Matt.6:22; Matt.25:8). So then, when we read that the "number" of the wild beast is a "man's number", we must turn to the Bible to find that "man". Since this number represents the traits of the wild beast, it would also represent the traits of this "man" (They both have the same "number" Rev.13:18 and measure up the same to Jehovah.) What "man" in the Bible, measures up like the wild beast? In order to know this, we have to review the traits of the wild beast's image..... -misleading -an idol/"image" that is worshiped -seems true -receives authority/power/life from fallen anointed. -oppresses/"kills"/opposes faithful anointed -enslaves people's minds and deeds -controls spiritual commerce Is there a "man" in the Bible who bears all these traits? Is he associated with the "Lord's Day", as the wild beast is? (Rev.1:10) Let's review the traits of the beast, to find this "man". -misleading: 2Thess.2:3,9,10,11,12 -an idol that is worshiped: 2Thess.2:4 -seems true: 2Thess.2:2,9 -receives authority from fallen anointed: 2Thess.2:2,15; Eze.44:7 -opposes faithful anointed: 2Thess.2:4,6,15,17 (1Cor.3:16,17; 2Cor.6:16; Eph.2:20,21,22) -enslaves people's minds and deeds: 2Thess.2:3,9,10,11,12 -controls spiritual commerce: 2Thess.2:4,6,7,9 And finally, is he associated with the "Lord's Day"? 2Thess.2:1,8 Who is this "Man"? 2Thess.2:3 This is, the "Man of Lawlessness" (Matt.7:22,23) Now that we know who the "Man" is, we are half way through our "calculations" (Rev.13:18). Our other clue, is that both the wild beast and this man of lawlessness, measure up the same (Amos7:7-8; Isa.28:17; Zech.2:1-2,7; Rev.11:1); and that both their number,is 666. Can this number be "calculated"/measured/estimated, based upon scripture? Will that number indicate the traits of both the "Man of Lawlessness", and the image of the "wild beast"? Yes, it can be calculated through scripture. But as indicated, it will require "wisdom" and "intelligence" (Rev.13:18) to do this mathematical calculation. Such wisdom must be given by God (James 1:5). We receive our answer in an unexpected place. Let's turn to Rev.14:1 and Rev.4:4; 5:8,9,10 The "crowns" upon the 24 elders, are "stephanos" crowns...the sort rewarding those who "conquer" (Rev.3:11,21). The anointed temple (not made with hands) is akin to the pattern given Moses, for the physical temple and priesthood that was made with hands. (Ex.25:9; Heb.8:5;Eph.2:10) There were a total of twenty-four heads of families from the tribe of Levi during the days of King David's reign. The regulation of twenty-four courses of priests rotating to minister in the Tabernacle was established in the days when Solomon had the Temple constructed and continued to be observed until the Second Temple was destroyed by Rome in AD 70. This appointed order of ministering by rotating among twenty-four priests was commanded by Jehovah. When Aaron received the regulations concerning the duties of the Levites, he wrote them down. Generations later, during the time of King David, the tribe of Levi had grown to twenty-four clans. The heads of these tribes served as priests in the Temple according to God's commandment. (1Chron.24:1,2,3,4,19). Therefore, these 24 elders in heaven, are representative heads of the 144,000 priests and "12 tribes" of spiritual "Israel" (Rev.7:4; Rom.2:28,29; Gal.3:29;Matt.21:43; John15:5,8; Matt.7:20). Now it's time to do some "calculating". How many of the 144,000 does each "elder" represent? The calculation is..... 144,000 divided by 24, = 6,000. So, each elder represents 6,000. Each "witness/head of truth" (Rev.14:5; Isa.43:10,21; 1Pet.2:9) represents and stands for 6,000. Why would this be...since each tribe consists of 12,000? (Rev.7:4-8) Apparently, this is because there are two representatives (witnesses/heads/elders) over each tribe. 12tribes X 2witnesses(elders) = 24 elders Why would that be? Well, the Bible makes this reason clear... (2Cor.13:1; Deut.19:15; 17:6; Matt.18:16; 26:60,61,62; Heb.10:28,29; Numbers35:30;1Kings21:10,13; John8:17,18; Rev.11:3) Two witnesses are always needed to establish truth. Truth is the entire essence of this holy temple priesthood. The 144,000 become sharers in the human personification of truth perfected (Rev.14:4,5). Every duty these priests perform is based upon this pattern of truth...two witnesses. How does this figure into our "calculation"? As we have seen...these conquering priests pattern their dispensing of truth in perfection, and always by means of two witnesses. (This will be studied in more depth in a future addition to the article about the "Trees of Life", and their monthly "crops" of "fruit".) Therefore, these two elders (two witnesses per each tribe), represent 12,000 priests, or one tribe. Yes...the number ascribed two faithful witnesses (or the number for truth), is twelve; or multiples of 12. It is derived from two witnesses. Each witness is represented by six (6+6=12) (144,000 = 12X12) (Mark 3:14,15; Luke 22:30; Acts 26:7; James 1:1; John 8:18; 11:9; Acts 1:15;7:8; Rev.7:5-8; 12:1; Rev.21:12,14,16,21; 22:2) The entire Kingdom arrangement is based upon truth, two witnesses, and it's symbolic number "12" (6+6). I find interesting confirmation, in the fact that God's Word contains 66 books. **The fact that the "two-horned" beast has TWO horns like a lamb (Rev.13:11), yet "speaks like a dragon", indicates that it appears to be true witnesses/prophet, who is imitating Christ; but it is really an agent of Satan's lies. If Truth (two witnesses) is represented by twelve (6+6), then can you see that each single witness is represented by six? What if we only had one witness? Would that establish truth? (Deut.17:6b; 19:15; John 7:18; 5:31; 8:13,14,18; Num.35:30) No...one witness is as good as a lie. The number "6", would represent a single, false, witness. This is brought out for us when we compare Ezra 2:13 and Neh.7:18. Do you perceive the lesson in those two scriptures? When there is only one witness for a fact, which do we believe? We should not really put faith, in either. Two witnesses with the same story, are needed. Now that we have calculated the meaning of the number "6", let's return toRev.13:18. The number of the wild beast, and the man of lawlessness, is 666. Does this interpretation follow through? Remember the traits of both the "man", the false prophet, and the "wild beast"? (see Rev.13:6,14; 2Thess.2:9,10,11,12) All who receive the mark of the beast on their forehead, believe and become slaves to lies. (pearl-forehead.blogspot.com) All who receive the mark on their right hand, have their willpower enslaved to lies (Isa.44:20; Psalm 144:8,11; Rev.13:16; 2Thess.2:9; 2Tim.3:13; Rev.16:13) They also become false witnesses of false witnesses, as seen in the scripture below. We do receive confirmation of the meaning of 666, as representing slaves of deception.... Rev.16:13 "And I saw three unclean inspired expressions [that looked] like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty." "Three...inspired expressions...expressions inspired by demons". 666 The only unclean expressions of demons, are lies. (2Chron.18:20,21; Rev.16:13; John 8:44) Three...a full amount of false witnesses to establish a lie, (2Cor.13:1) causing it to prevail (2Chron.18:21; Rev.12:9; Rev.13:8; 2Thess.2:11,12) Those three lying witnesses are mentioned here....the "dragon, the wild beast, and the false prophet". Here we see who is behind the lies of the wild beast and man of lawlessness (2Thess.2:9; Rev.13:2). Lies are their wisdom, power, and riches ("gold") (1Kings 10:14; Isa.28:15). We must only accept "gold" refined by fire (Rev.3:18) from Christ himself (Matt23:10;John 7:18). "FROG-LIKE" Why are the lies (6's) described as "frog-like"? In all creation, the life cycle of frogs is the most evolutionary. The change it's life undergoes from invisible egg to land reptile, is drastic. Without fully knowing about this life cycle, we might think that one stage of it's life is an entirely different species. Yes...the frog starts out barely noticeable. If one gave it's development constant attention, the gradual change would be imperceptible. If the tiny "egg" (lie...6) were called "Truth", those enslaved through it's progression would still call the full-grown Frog, Truth. (6+60+600=666) Yes, Satan and these demons know human nature. They have brought about these lies so gradually, that it has gone undetected by those mislead by them. Those who are perishing and enslaved to the wild beast, still feel that these obvious lies, are truth. (Rev.16:13) Their foreheads have been branded like slaves, to lies (1Tim.4:1,2; Rev.13:16). No one can "buy or sell" spiritual provisions (Isa.55:2,1; (Rev.21:6;22:17); John 6:27,51; 14:6; Rev.3:18; Deut.11:18,1; 6:8), unless their mind ("forehead") and work/power ("right hand") is branded into slavery by the demonic lies of the Beast (Rev.13:16,17; Isa.44:20), rather than to God's free truths (Deut.6:6,8; John 8:32). It is robbery to enslave others as the cost for spiritual bread (Amos 8:4,5,6; Matt.24:20; Micah 6:10,11;Eze.45:9,10; Prov.11:1; Hosea 12:7,8,14; Zech.5:10,11; Rev.6:5,6;13:17) (Isa.52:3,5; Rev.13:5,6; 2Thess.2:4). All others who attempt to offer spiritual provisions without cost: (subjection, obedience and worship of the Beast and it's lies), outside the spiritual "commerce" and monopoly of the Beast (Matt.10:8), will be "killed" (Rev.13:15,17; 11:7; 6:9). These enslaving, demonic lies will cover the land....just as the plague of frogs did, in Egypt (Exo.8:1,2,3,4,5,6; Rev.16:13,14; Prov.12:17;2Chron.18:20,21,22; Eze.14:9,10; 2Thess.2:9,10,11,12). (Rev.18:3,6; Isa.51:21,22,23; Rev.11:2; Jer.25:15; Rev.14:10) For those of us who know the Bible's meaning of 666... we are not mislead.
