The theme for this year’s program is "Don't Give Up!". Brother, Lovelage yaw Odonkor, convention media coordinator in an interview with Sunyani based radio Metro 90.5FM, stated that “Jesus, the founder of Christianity, is widely considered as one of the most influential and significant men who ever lived. As Christians, a core belief of Jehovah’s Witnesses is that Jesus lived his life as a model for us to follow, that's why we come together annually as one family to teach and learn Jehovah words". He said the annual convention is holds throughout the country and every Friday to Sunday. He said, the convention will features talks, short videos, symposia and Bible dramas, which most of this will base on the theme,"Don't Give Up!'. Bro. Would be Saturday and Sunday will talk about "Jesus said: “The one who has endured to the end will be saved.” What can you do to heed his words?"he said. Brother, Lovelage yaw Odonkor, called on youth not to give up on challenges they are facing either, difficulties to worship Jehovah,Jobs, financial difficulties, education among others. He urged them to be persistent like Noah, bold like Moses and loyal like Mary, and thankfully they can be, "we should continue to worship Jehovah, pray and do his will, our difficulties will be a thing of the past" he added. According to him, youth should always remember Psalm 37:5,which says, Commit everything you do to the LORD. 4. An African man living abroad has avoided being preached to by female Jehovah Witness members using the weirdest possible means. Jehovah Witness preachers overtime have become an excruciating pain in the neck of some people as they walk indiscriminately from house to house preaching their own version of the Christian religion. An unnamed Ghanaian man living abroad in a bid to chase away some female Jehovah Witnesses who visited his house to preach to him exposed his manhood to tease them. The shocked female preachers swiftly turned back as they suspected an imbalance in his mental status. Jehovah’s Witnesses are best known for their door-to-door preaching, distributing literature such as The Watchtower and Awake!, and refusing military service and blood transfusions. http://www.informationng.com/2017/05/ghanaian-man-chases-jehovahs-witnesses-house-stripping-unclad-video.html
