    Though there isn't any specific law, Jehovah's witnesses don't celebrate birthday because 2 Timothy 3:16 clearly states that we can use the inspired Word of God as a guiding tool in everything we do. From the two (2) celebrations recorded in the Bible, specifically Gen. 40:20-22 and Mark 6:21-27, we can easily discern that the two celebrants here, Pharaoh and King Herod, were pagans. You can also note that there is no record in the Bible about Christian celebrating birthday. Even Jesus did not command his disciples to celebrate his day of birth but instead he commanded them to observe his memorial death.
