According to the victim, the 31-year-old man, member of the Jehovah's Witnesses religious group, repeatedly sexually abused her for years. The alleged victim first brought this case to a trial within the temple. as required by the law of religion, but the congregation failed to act accordingly. According to the complaint filed by the woman's attorney, she visited his office last week to ask for support to denounce the member of the Jehovah's Witnesses religious organization and he could face charges.

  2. Were you or a loved one sexually abused by Gonzalo Campos, an elder with various Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations in the San Diego area? Legal Support For Alleged Victims Of Gonzalo Campos After admitting to molesting at least 8 children during the 1980s and 1990s, Campos fled to Mexico, evading criminal justice here in California, but some sexual abuse survivors may still be eligible to file suit against the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York. The Watchtower, the national organization for the Jehovah’s Witnesses, has already settled at least two lawsuits involving Campos’ misconduct. In March 2018, the organization came to terms with two of Campos’ victims, men who claimed the elder abused them decades ago. Neither the Watchtower nor the plaintiffs are allowed to disclose details of the settlement. Experienced Attorneys Launch Full Investigation Our compassionate sexual abuse attorneys believe that other victims of Campos may still be able to pursue justice, accountability and compensation by filing a civil lawsuit. We have opened a full investigation into the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society to understand how Campos was allowed to remain around children, even after serious sexual abuse allegations had been filed against him. We understand the powerful storm of emotions that sexual abuse can cause. You may still be struggling to deal with painful feelings of embarrassment and shame, rage or depression. You do not have to go through this alone. Our committed legal team is here to help. You may have powerful legal options. The prospect of stepping forward to report the abuse may seem terrifying, but it can be a powerful step on the road to recovery. You deserve justice. You may also be entitled to financial compensation. Filing a civil lawsuit can help you take control of this terrible situation. The Watchtower should be held accountable. Watchtower Hit By Court Penalty For Withholding Evidence The Watchtower has already been accused of hindering investigations into allegations of child sexual abuse. In the cases involving Gonzalo Campos, the Watchtower was ordered to pay a penalty of $4,000 every day because it refused to turn over internal documents containing information about church leaders who had been accused of child sexual abuse. This was not the first time the Watchtower failed to stand up for sexual abuse survivors. Critics say Gonzalo Campos was allowed to abuse at least 8 children in San Diego between 1982 and 1995, even though the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations he belonged to were aware of his misconduct. After abusing a 7-year-old in 1994, Campos was removed from the Church, but he was reinstated by church elders who claimed he was a changed man. In their lawsuits, two men who said they had been abused by Campos accused church elders of knowing about Campos’ misconduct as early as 1982, but covering it up and allowing him to continue working with young children. We believe the victims.

  3. Along with Bible teachings and online lessons on how to lead a good life and find peace and happiness, the Jehovah Witnesses website at JW.org also offers serious insight and words of caution to parents about sexual child abuse. And, that makes the recent Philadelphia Inquirer story alleging that Jehovah's Witness elders have repeatedly covered up sexual abuse of members' children, shunned members and victims who raised complaints of child abuse and have impeded police investigations into abuse allegations even more shocking. Among the victims of the Witnesses' shunning and stonewalling tactics interviewed by Inquirer reporter David Gambacorta were: The parents of a 4-year-old New Cumberland girl who was molested at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Red Lion A Spring Grove woman who was molested when she was a teen by a Witness who was a family friend A York woman who was molested in her teens by a couple she knew through the Jehovah's Witnesses. Three defendants identified in the Inquirer investigative piece were prosecuted and sentenced in York County. A fourth is awaiting prosecution.

  4. The lawsuit was settled on Monday in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. A woman has settled a lawsuit against the Spring Grove Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and two of its supporting organizations, which alleged that elders failed to report instances of sexual abuse to law enforcement to protect their own reputation. In the lawsuit, the woman said she’s suffered physical and emotional injuries after being abused between ages 14 and 16 by Terry Monheim, whom she met through the church. The Jehovah’s Witnesses became aware of it and “did nothing” to protect her, according to court documents. The lawsuit was settled on Monday in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. The terms of the agreement are confidential. “A matter with the Jehovah’s Witnesses has been resolved,” said Jeffrey Fritz, an attorney who represented the woman, now 28, of Lancaster County. The York Daily Record/Sunday News is not identifying her because she’s the survivor of a sexual crime. The abuse took place between 2003 and 2005, according to the lawsuit. The woman later went to the Southwestern Regional Police Department, which filed charges against Monheim. Monheim, now 64, of Hanover, pleaded guilty in 2012 to indecent assault and corruption of minors. She was sentenced to serve three to 23 months in York County Prison, as well as five years on probation. The Jehovah’s Witnesses “exercise control in all aspects of congregants’ lives,” according to the lawsuit. If someone is accused of child molestation and denies wrongdoing, the complaint states, the congregation will not act unless there’s at least two eyewitnesses. “It is outrageous conduct in this or any other society to have knowledge of past instances of abuse of children and fail to report same to law enforcement authorities or put into place any protective measures to protect children against abuse,” the lawsuit states. Louis Lombardi II, an attorney who represented the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc. and Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses Inc., which provide support to local congregations, could not be reached. Neither could Jud Aaron, an attorney who represented the Spring Grove Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, nor Monheim.

  5. Note: Southwestern Longview was a private school that catered to witness children BUENA PARK – A South Carolina man who worked as a teacher at a private school in Long Beach a decade ago has been arrested by Buena Park police officers on suspicion of the “continuous sexual abuse of a child” who was a student of his, authorities said today. Jason Gorski of Fort Mill, 43, was arrested on June 21, said Buena Park police Sgt. Mike Lovchik. The victim was a boy who was 12-15 years of age at the time of the alleged sexual abuse. “Gorski worked as the male victim’s school teacher and as an elder within their Jehovah’s Witness church congregation,” Lovchik said. “The sexual abuse occurred from 2007 to 2009 while the victim was ages 12-15,” Lovchik said. “The abuse came to an end when it was reported to the Jehovah’s Witness church, but it was only recently reported to authorities. Gorski moved to South Carolina shortly after the disclosure.” Lovchik said his department was conducting the investigation because crimes allegedly committed by Gorski occurred in Buena Park. According to Lovchik, Gorski worked as a teacher at Southwestern Longview Private School, at 4747 Daisy Ave. in Long Beach, for about three or four years, ending when the school closed for business at the end of the school year in 2007. Gorski attended the Jehova’s Witness Cypress congregation at 8542 Watson St. in Cypress for several years, and was appointed as an elder of the congregation in May 2007, Lovchik said. “After the disclosure (of the sexual abuse) in 2009, Gorski was removed as an elder, but continued to attend services at the congregation,” Lovchik said. Around 2010, Gorski moved to South Carolina, and became part of a nearby Jehovah’s Witness congregation in North Carolina, Lovchik said. “Over the years many children have been exposed to Gorski, specifically during his time as a schoolteacher and church leader,” Lovchik said.”It is believed that additional victims may exist who have not yet reported their abuse to authorities.” Additional victims, or people with knowledge of Gorski’s alleged abuse, were urged to call the Buena Park Police Department at 714-562-3963.

And another story: Former Long Beach school teacher arrested after sexual abuse allegations A former Long Beach school teacher was arrested last week after authorities received a report about sexual abuse alleged to have occurred from 2007 to 2009, police announced Thursday. Jason Gorski, 43, surrendered to Buena Park police on June 21 and was booked on suspicion of sex crimes with a child under 14 and continuous sexual abuse of a child, according to Sgt. Mike Lovchik. Gorski worked as the boy’s school teacher and as an elder within their Jehovah’s Witness church congregation in Cypress, police said. "We have no evidence at this point that any crimes occurred in the church or at the school," Lovchik said. Police were contacted by a man who said he was abused from 2007 to 2009, from the ages of 12 to 15, authorities said. It came to an end when it was reported to the church, but it was only recently reported to authorities, police said. The crimes reportedly occurred in Buena Park, Lovchik said. Gorski remains free on $100,000 bail, he said. A man who answered the phone at the Cypress congregation and who refused to identify himself said Gorski was no longer part of the congregation and declined to comment further. “I’m not allowed to give out any information regarding him,” he said. Gorski worked as a school teacher at Southwestern Longview Private School for approximately three to four years and his employment ended in April 2007. The school permanently closed at the end of the school year in June 2007, police said. Gorski attended the Cypress congregation for several years and was appointed as an elder of the congregation in May 2007. After the disclosure to the church in 2009, police said, Gorski was removed as an elder but continued to attend services. Sometime around 2010, Gorski relocated to South Carolina and became a part of a nearby Jehovah’s Witness congregation, police said. It is unclear whether police arrested Gorski in South Carolina. “Over the years, many children have been exposed to Gorski, specifically during his time as a school teacher and church leader,” police said. “It is believed that additional victims may exist who have not yet reported their abuse to authorities.” People with knowledge of any abuse by Gorski are asked to contact Buena Park police at 714-562-3963.

    Update on July 6, 2016:
      Hello guest!
  6. In 2001, while he was a cardinal, the pope issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church's interests ahead of child safety. The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated. The main problem here is that the roman catholic "church" is one of the only organizations that has offered peverts of every stripe and pedophiles in particular a career, protection and access to children. Over time this has led to more and more perverts being attracted to the Church. "The real problem the Catholic Church faces," explains Father Donald B. Cozzens, author of "The Changing Face of the Priesthood," is the "disproportionate number of gay men that populate our seminaries." "I think we have to ask the question: Why are 90 to 95 – and some estimates say as high as 98 – percent of the victims of clergy acting out against teen-agers, boys? Why isn't there ... a higher percentage of teen-age girls?" Cozzens declared on NBC's Meet the Press recently. January 31, 2000 | CNN KANSAS CITY, Missouri (AP) -- Roman Catholic priests in the United States are dying from AIDS-related illnesses at a rate four times higher than the general population and the cause is often concealed on their death certificates, The Kansas City Star reported in a series of stories that started Sunday. WE ARE NOT TALKING NUMBERS, BUT ORDERS FROM THE CATHOLIC ORGANISATION TO COVER UP AND HIDE THEM!
