More than 25,000 to attend Jehovah's Witnesses convention in Reading

Santander Arena will once again host over 25,000 Jehovah's Witnesses visiting Reading beginning in late July for an annual convention celebrating service, faith and their community.

The convention, returning for its 11th year in Reading, is the arena's major event of the summer and brought an estimated $8 million to local businesses and hotels last year, according to the Greater Reading Convention & Visitors Bureau."We have a good relationship with their team," said David Farrar, general manager of Santander Arena. "And it's great for the whole town - a real win for them and a win for us when it gets that many people in town to restaurants and hotels."
