An adults-only ice cream van is heading to Wales this week and you can pick up an alcohol-infused treat for free - as long as you've got your ID.

Beer-flavoured Mr Whippy in a pork scratching cone, tequila sorbets in a Martini glass, and bacon infused ice cream with a shot of bourbon will all be offered from the “bar on wheels”.

The ice cream van with a difference will be rolling into Wales this week as part of a UK tour organised by Warner Leisure Hotels, the company behind The Ice Cream Bar – the first ever adult-only ice cream van.

Where can I get a boozy ice cream?

The ice cream van will be at Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel in North Wales on Thursday, July 21 from 3pm until supplies run out.

What flavour ice cream can I enjoy?

The bespoke menu was created by New Forest Ice Cream for adults and the menu includes:

IcePA

Mr Whippy beer poured out of a classic bar pump into a pork scratching cone,

The Jäger Bombe

A grown up twist on the classic ice cream bombe. Jäger ice cream in the middle, covered in a layer of energy drink flavoured ice cream.

Bacon and Bourbon

Bacon flavoured ice cream with a crispy bacon garnish and shot of bourbon.

Vodka Martini

Vodka sorbet with olive flavoured hundreds and thousands.

Tequila Sorbet

Tequila flavoured sorbet served in a martini glass with a rim of salt.
