The inhabitants of San Antonio da platina in Brazil are witnessing a very strange phenomenon; a frightful rain of spiders. This phenomenon is apparently due to what is called " Spider ballooning a technique that allows young spiders to jump in the air to find another habitat. These paintings are in the form of a veil and one breath of air to take them away. If it's not uncommon for spiders to fly, it's exceptional to see millions landing in the same place. There's worse than rain, hail or lightning: the rain of spiders! The small town of Goulburn, in Southern Australia, experienced this frightening phenomenon last week. The inhabitants have seen their gardens and houses being covered by a large amount of paintings falling from the sky. On These: millions of tiny spiders. Ian Watson described this spectacular scene on Facebook: "I am 10 minutes from the city, and we can clearly see hundreds of small spiders floating with their paintings and my home is covered". a balloon ride if The phenomenon seems to trigger a general panic, it is not uncommon in this part of Australia. It is actually due to a change in climatic conditions. After heavy rains, spiders living on the ground or in des are trying to escape drowning. To do so, they take flight thanks to a technique called " hot air balloon ". " hot air balloon is not a rare behavior for many spiders. Just, we don't notice ". what's really rare is that millions of spiders take off at the same time and land in the same place. Angel Hair? Of course, by practicing the hot-Air Balloon, spiders don't control where they go. They can be carried by the wind. And if there's a sudden depression, it happens that they all fall down to the same place. Like in Goulburn. Such a surprising stop for the inhabitants of the city as for small animals. When you observe such a quantity of spiders that have made the hot-Air Balloon, you call this phenomenon " rain of spiders ", or " Angel hair " because of the long light wires that they give up a little everywhere after their landing. The largest "Landings" observed nearly 40 kilometres wide!

We are pleased to share encouraging highlights from the 2017 service year report. The peak number of publishers was 8,457,107. Jehovah’s people spent a total of 2,046,000,202 hours in the ministry, a 3.1 percent increase from last year. We are especially encouraged to see a 7.4 percent increase in the number baptized, with a total of 284,212! This is evidence that we take seriously our commission to “make disciples.” (Matt. 28:19) We were delighted to see that the average number of regular pioneers was 1,225,279. This was an 8.6 percent increase! The worldwide Memorial attendance figure was 20,175,477. Significant features of the service year report will soon be available on jw.org and in JW Library, Watchtower ONLINE LIBRARY, and Watchtower Library. These figures provide compelling evidence of Jehovah’s blessing on our work.—Isa. 60:22.
Throughout our branch territory, it is evident that Jehovah is searching for those “rightly disposed for everlasting life” in the language of their heart. (Acts 13:48) For instance, we are happy to report the formation of the first ever Cherokee-language congregation during the past service year. The first Swahili-language circuit in our branch territory was formed effective September 1, 2017. In addition to those reached in the door-to-door ministry, public witnessing initiatives are reaching more people than ever with the Bible’s message. There are over 17,000 publishers participating in the special metropolitan public witnessing program in 17 locations. Harbor witnessing is now organized in 45 ports, with 4,400 trained publishers boarding cargo and cruise ships in an effort to witness to crew members. Public witnessing campaigns organized at large state fairs and sporting events are exposing millions of individuals to the good news, as well as adding great impetus to this aspect of the preaching work.
Much has also been accomplished in regard to Kingdom Hall usage in the United States branch territory. Twenty branch planning meetings were held with bodies of elders in metropolitan areas affecting over 2,200 congregations. Implementing non-construction solutions such as merging or relocating congregations has reduced the need for new auditoriums in these areas from 41 to 19, with a potential savings of millions of dollars!
Be assured that Jehovah values your faithful service and that he will continue to give you the necessary strength to “fully accomplish your ministry” in the coming year!—2 Tim. 4:5; Isa. 40:31.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned to my wife and kids that I found a person on craigslist selling a $900 Celestron 6SE telescope for $400-something and I offered him $300 to see what he might say. He said he couldn't get the motorized finder and computerized mechanism to work, but that the lens/mirror/scope/accessories were in perfect shape and never really used. He sent pictures and agreed on $350. Then I was embarrassed, and actually not that happy that I had to drop the deal because my 3 kid -

But, when Jerusalem was about to be destroyed (70C.E) didn't some return 'home' there, only to perish when the Romans slaughtered them. They returned to Jerusalem because they lost their faith in Almighty God and in the words of Jesus. And therefore they died through lack of faith.
I do not lack faith in Almighty God or in Jesus Christ. But I do lack immediate direction. However, at this moment in time, I would not return to the Jehovah's Witnesses Org. In my opinion that Org will be either made clean or destroyed. Either way, right now I would not want to be part of it.
I also do not pay any attention to those on here that condemn me to death or tell me that I have no hope left.
My faith is not in earthling man. My faith in Almighty God through Jesus Christ.
