1929 - 2016

A memorial service will be held for Patricia Scott, 87, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1810 Waite St., in North Bend.

Patricia was born in 1929, at Marshfield. She died Dec. 19, 2016, at her home, in Coos Bay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon in 2013.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Sasson Burtzlaff of Michigan; three sons, Roger, Ron and his wife, Laurel, Doug and his wife, Michelle; and four grandchildren.

Patricia raised her family in Coos Bay. Her true vocation in life was her work as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Patricia spent more than 25 years in the full-time ministry, as well as having served, with her husband, as missionaries in American Samoa. Patricia served Jehovah God faithfully until her death and will be remembered for her love of life, sense of humor, and kindness toward others.
