Anne Lane Seders, 93, passed away May 2, 2017 at her Ridgecrest home in loving care of her husband, Charles Seders, Jr. Anne was born October 3, 1923. She had been a Ridgecrest resident since 1986.

She is survived by daughters: Rosanne, Tina, Nicki, Phyllis, Starlie and son Charles III, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Bobbi Anne. Anne is the last surviving child of Edna Hanna Robinson Gore and Ernest Rudolph Gore.

Anne was known in the community as one who talked to any and everyone about her strong beliefs and faith in Jehovah. She showed genuine interest in each individual she met. The saying is definitely true of her: “She never met a stranger!” She was also known as the “$2 lady” as she gave out $2 bills as tips and as appreciation for kindness shown to her or others, once even making police officer take one!

She will be sorely missed in the community along with her longtime friends in Ridgecrest and thru out the country. She will especially be missed by her family and her loving husband of 61 years.

Funeral service will be held at the Ridgecrest Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 3pm May 20, 2017.
