THOMASBORO – Joyce Ann Hendricks passed away at 12:29 p.m. Saturday (May 20, 2017) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., Champaign, with visitation one hour prior to the service (10 to 11 a.m.). Andy Pellinat will officiate. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Joyce was born Aug. 31, 1944, in Urbana, the daughter of Edwin and Dorothy York. She married Larry W. Hendricks on Oct. 30, 1965, in Urbana; he survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Carrie Winkeljohn of Rockford and Gail Hughes of Champaign; two sisters, Carol McClure of Champaign and Beth Gresham; and three grandchildren, Emily Hughes, Adam Hughes and Sophie Winkeljohn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Chad W. Hendricks.

Joyce retired from Bridal Suite. She loved spending time with her family and having family outings.

Joyce was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served faithfully for more than 45 years.
