Job Search Tip: Apply for Jobs at 11pm or Later

A friend this week told me that he goes onto Monster, Indeed, CareerBuilder, DICE, etc. at 11 pm at night because it appears that all the sites take a massive upload at that time.  He’s able to immediately find brand new jobs he’s interested in and can apply to immediately.  He could wait until the system automatically sends him jobs the next day but in many cases employers only look at the first 50 or 100 or 150 applicants, as he did when he recruited, and when he applies the next day he does not receive as many interviews or inquiries.

In CareerBuilder and Monster he can also go into the settings and see how many times a job has been viewed.

He was a hiring manager who worked closely with his recruiter and knew how fast some of his IT jobs  met the 100 or 150 applicant maximum he wanted to review.

Has anyone had any experience with any of this?
