COLUMBIANA - Doris “Dorie” Marilyn Yoho passed away July 4, 2017, at Assumption Village in North Lima from heart failure.

Doris was born in North Lima to the late Harry B. and Helen G. (Miller) Arkwright on Sept. 22, 1934.

She was a 1953 graduate of North Lima High School.

She married William Lee Yoho April 13, 1955. Together they had two daughters, Cynthia Lynne Douglass and Billie Leigh Yoho.

Besides her daughters, she is survived by five grandchildren, David, Dawn, Lora, James and Danielle; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A brother, Harry (Wilma) Arkwright Jr. and a sister, Darlene (Jay) Balough; her brother-in-law, John Meanor; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, William, on Feb. 22, 2016; a brother, James; her sister, Delight Meanor; and her son-in-law, Edward Douglass.

Doris was very zealous in her beliefs as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She spent many hours speaking to people about the Bible.

A memorial service will be held at the East Palestine Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 700 Brookdale Ave. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 7 p.m.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

The Linsley-Royal Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
