September 6th, 2017: A just released research survey shows once again that Jehovah's Witnesses are among the least educated people in the United States:

It is also interesting to note how JWs rank in the categories of: Income, Insurance Coverage and Homeownership. They are among the lowest in every one of these categories.

  • 45% of JWs report household earnings of less than $30,000 per year
  • Fewer than half of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses (48%) are homeowners
  • Only 31% report having health insurance through their employer

Wow! There are a lot of educated people today. How's that world going that they have collectively built?

I would add to the list of how things are improving.

We have iPads. I use mine a lot.

People have to clean up after their dogs. There is no experience quite like sliding through a pile of you-know-what trying to stretch to catch a fly ball in the outfield. Thanks to modern advances, that doesn't happen anymore.

People are less inhibited speaking of dark things like suicide. Counterbalancing that somewhat is that there are many more suicides to talk about, as it becomes all the rage among the young who sense that the older ones they trusted have sold them down the river with their 'fake news' world.

Teen births, as you pointed out, are at an all-time low! A price has been paid, however, for this 'advance,' by some very tiny individuals who probably feel pain.

@James Thomas Rook Jr.would disagree that it is 'Crisis News Network" His heart seems planted on one side of the national squabble over which some have said another civil war might break out.

It's all in what you value. I am reminded of the quote from the old blue Truth book: 'True, there has been progress in a material way. But is it really progress when humans can send men to the moon, but cannot live in peace on earth with one another?'

Some people think it is.

Just a cursory reading of this:

"Absolute poverty is defined as living on less than $1.25/day." : Pathetic benchmark!

"Over the next 20 years, we have the ability to extinguish absolute poverty on Earth." ???Excuse me! We have been able to do this for years!

"the basic rationale for child labor will completely disappear" And what are those poor, redundant, robot replaced, child laborers doing? Starving to death? Trafficked?...

"We’re demonetizing food rapidly." What does this even mean? Less people malnourished?? Wakey Wakey!!

"In the last 25 years, under-five mortality rates have dropped by 50%" Glad to hear it...I think.... er, What is the life prospect for these folk and any assessment of the quality of that life?

"we will rapidly begin to eliminate dozens or hundreds of similar plagues." In the context of the elimination of guinea worm infestation glad to hear but.... Hmm... sounds highly speculative at best. "we will rapidly begin"???

"the dramatic decline in the number of teen (15 to 19 years old) birth rates in the United States since 1950" Is this due to abortion availability? birth control? Social media preference to live contact? or better moral standards? Or something else?

"the number of homicides per 100,000 people has decreased to almost zero." over the last 700 years??? how on earth is this measured especially prior at least 19th Century and what is included? probably doesn't include war deaths or political genocide.

I can't look at any more of these stats, but I wholeheartedly agree with the final statement of this report:

We live in the most exciting time to be alive! Enjoy it.

I agree 100% ... I would rather live in this time than in any other time in the history of human experience.

I have been at death's door with my hand on the knob more than several  dozen times ... yet, somehow .....  I still live.

I thank Jehovah EVERY DAY for the circumstances of this time, and this place.

I am a HAPPY MAN since I stopped letting delusional pessimists, and people pushing their agendas tell me it's all going to hell in a hand basket.

IT'S NOT!

(Circumstances may vary ... do not try this at home.)

"Class, I know you are sad that Ashley hung herself yesterday. And last week little Jimmy in the 4th grade did the same. He was sad because Travis's older brother blew his brains out a month ago. You probably saw that on Facebook. Wasn't that terrible?

"Your school loves you are wants to help, so we have asked @Ann O'Malyto address the class. Ms. O'Maly, you have our attention."

Thank you, teacher. Good morning, class ....(Good morning, Missus O'Maly)

I have ten charts with me today that shows the world is wonderful.

Look at them closely. If you do that you will see that most of the bad things are almost gone. Scientists and educated people did this - not stupid Jehovah's Witnesses. @Jay Witness, who spoke to the class yesterday, showed how they drag up the bottom of the Pew List. What good are they? Look to science and education to solve our problems, not God. My charts show the problems are almost gone.

Whatever is wrong with you - killing yourselves the way you do? Stop it right now! Can't you see? The end of problems is just around the corner. We are so very close. Don't Give Up. We even have suicide hotlines because we love you. We're pumping some of you full of antidepressants till it comes out of your ears. What more could you ask for?

I know that you are sad because Taylor was molested by her uncle not long ago. And Amber and Nancy and Logan and Mason and Dixon and Prancer and Janie. These things happen. They are very bad and we are working hard to stop them. We have sex offender registry lists and half the planet is on them so we are almost there, The thing that I want you to focus on is that some Jehovah's Witness elders punished Prancer's uncle but they didn't do it the right way. It's not their job to punish him - it's our job.

Ann should not have brought her charts to the WorldNewsForum. Not everything is on them. And too many there are cynical  because they know that 'facts' are elusive building blocks that can be shaped into anything you want them shaped into. She should have gone into the schools. Among young people she will find alarmingly increasing numbers who do not believe them, and they are manifesting their disbelief by means of a noose.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not ignore education but they do redefine it.

Theirs is primarily moral training and the Bible is the textbook. Secular skills they pick those up a la carte as necessary. They look bad on the Pew chart that way and @Jay Witnesscan gloat. But that does not mean it doesn't work.

Is it a good idea to focus primarily on moral training? if people are unloving, selfish and greedy, you are better off not educating them. They can do less damage that way. If plumbers and janitors had run the worldwide financial system in 2007 they might have found a way to beat the taxpayers out of a day's wage. Instead, it was MBA's who ran it, and they found a way to put us all in hoc forever.

brothers, that there are not many wise in a fleshly way

The problem arises when people who choose  themselves to be "the foolish things of the world" became really foolish in generating doctrines and instructions that have no connection to god. But they convinced themselves how they are wise in the presence of, before God.

So, who can help them? Man? God? No one.  Because why would they listen to "wise man in a flesh"? An with god, god decide to live them in their security of false wisdom to show to others how look the end of human wisdom, again. With or without prefix - "wise" or "foolish" :)

    • It appears to me that this is a key aspect of the 2030 initiative ideology. While the Rothschilds were indeed influential individuals who were able to sway governments, much like present-day billionaires, the true impetus for change stems from the omnipotent forces (Satan) shaping our world. In this case, there is a false God of this world. However, what drives action within a political framework? Power! What is unfolding before our eyes in today's world? The relentless struggle for power. The overwhelming tide of people rising. We cannot underestimate the direct and sinister influence of Satan in all of this. However, it is up to individuals to decide how they choose to worship God. Satanism, as a form of religion, cannot be regarded as a true religion. Consequently, just as ancient practices of child sacrifice had a place in God's world, such sacrifices would never be accepted by the True God of our universe. Despite the promising 2030 initiative for those involved, it is unfortunately disintegrating due to the actions of certain individuals in positions of authority. A recent incident serves as a glaring example, involving a conflict between peaceful Muslims and a Jewish representative that unfolded just this week. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/mar/11/us-delegation-saudi-arabia-kippah?ref=upstract.com Saudi Arabia was among the countries that agreed to the initiative signed by approximately 179 nations in or around 1994. However, this initiative is now being undermined by the devil himself, who is sowing discord among the delegates due to the ongoing Jewish-Hamas (Palestine) conflict. Fostering antisemitism. What kind of sacrifice does Satan accept with the death of babies and children in places like Gaza, Ukraine, and other conflicts around the world, whether in the past or present, that God wouldn't? Whatever personal experiences we may have had with well-known individuals, true Christians understand that current events were foretold long ago, and nothing can prevent them from unfolding. What we are witnessing is the result of Satan's wrath upon humanity, as was predicted. A true religion will not involve itself in the politics of this world, as it is aware of the many detrimental factors associated with such engagement. It understands the true intentions of Satan for this world and wisely chooses to stay unaffected by them.
    • This idea that Satan can put Jews in power implies that God doesn't want Jews in power. But that would also imply that God only wants "Christians" including Hitler, Biden, Pol Pot, Chiang Kai-Shek, etc.
    • @Mic Drop, I don't buy it. I watched the movie. It has all the hallmarks of the anti-semitic tropes that began to rise precipitously on social media during the last few years - pre-current-Gaza-war. And it has similarities to the same anti-semitic tropes that began to rise in Europe in the 900's to 1100's. It was back in the 500s AD/CE that many Khazars failed to take or keep land they fought for around what's now Ukraine and southern Russia. Khazars with a view to regaining power were still being driven out into the 900's. And therefore they migrated to what's now called Eastern Europe. It's also true that many of their groups converted to Judaism after settling in Eastern Europe. It's possibly also true that they could be hired as mercenaries even after their own designs on empire had dwindled.  But I think the film takes advantage of the fact that so few historical records have ever been considered reliable by the West when it comes to these regions. So it's easy to fill the vacuum with some very old antisemitic claims, fables, rumors, etc..  The mention of Eisenhower in the movie was kind of a giveaway, too. It's like, Oh NO! The United States had a Jew in power once. How on earth could THAT have happened? Could it be . . . SATAN??" Trying to tie a connection back to Babylonian Child Sacrifice Black Magick, Secret Satanism, and Baal worship has long been a trope for those who need to think that no Jews like the Rothschilds and Eisenhowers (????) etc would not have been able to get into power in otherwise "Christian" nations without help from Satan.    Does child sacrifice actually work to gain power?? Does drinking blood? Does pedophilia??? (also mentioned in the movie) Yes, it's an evil world and many people have evil ideologies based on greed and lust and ego. But how exactly does child sacrifice or pedophilia or drinking blood produce a more powerful nation or cabal of some kind? To me that's a giveaway that the authors know that the appeal will be to people who don't really care about actual historical evidence. Also, the author(s) of the video proved that they have not done much homework, but are just trying to fill that supposed knowledge gap by grasping at old paranoid and prejudicial premises. (BTW, my mother and grandmother, in 1941 and 1942, sat next to Dwight Eisenhower's mother at an assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses. The Eisenhower family had been involved in a couple of "Christian" religions and a couple of them associated with IBSA and JWs for many years.)
