The family and community of a Massachusetts woman killed in Sunday's shooting rampage in Las Vegas is mourning her death.

Rhonda LeRocque, 42, of Tewksbury, was among the dozens killed in the gunfire that broke out at the Route 91 Harvest Festival at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

LeRocque had traveled to Las Vegas with her husband Jason and their 6-year-old daughter to attend the country music festival. Her husband was not injured, and the child had left the concert with her grandfather shortly before the shooting.

"Jason was right next to her when she fell, he thought she was ducking, he thought she was ducking, but she didn't get up," LeRocque's mother, Priscilla Champagne, told NBC Boston.

Meanwhile check out these remarks:

"The Souls Of Those That Passed Are Now At Peace In Heaven" President Trump In Las Vegas

Prayers as he laughs at the worlds victims in Puerto Rico and others Islands. He might be just the one to cry Peace and Security ? Guess he doesn't know what's really happening in Heaven? Psalms chapter 2 whole chapter sums it up! ?

BENEFIT FOR:
LeRocque Family

On Sunday, October 1st Rhonda LeRocque was one of the 58 people tragically killed in the Las Vegas shooting. Rhonda was at the concert with her husband, Jason, her 6-year-old daughter and her father-in-law. Her father-in-law had just left the concert with Rhonda’s 6-year-old daughter when the shooting started. Rhonda and her family live in Tewksbury, MA and have been extremely active in the community.

The Greg Hill Foundation has committed to matching all donations up to $10,000 to support the LeRocque Family in their time of need. We will be holding an on air fundraiser on Tuesday, October 3rd and will be accepting donations throughout the show. Please consider donating and supporting the LeRocque Family.

Fundraiser started for Tewksbury's Rhonda LeRocque, 'a person full of life' who was killed in Las Vegas mass shooting

The family of Rhonda LeRocque, the Tewksbury woman who was killed during Sunday's mass shooting in Las Vegas, is seeking to raise money to help bring her back to Massachusetts and help her husband adjust to being a single father.

LeRocque was "a person full of life, she loved her family with all her heart," read a GoFundMe page started Monday.

The fundraiser seeks to collect $25,000 to assist with medical and funeral expenses, to help transfer her remains and to assist her husband, Jason, and 6-year-old daughter, Ali, with future needs.

LeRocque's mother also hopes to fly to Las Vegas before her daughter is cremated so she can say her last goodbyes, according to the page.

LeRocque was at the music festival with her husband, daughter and father-in-law. Her child left the concert with a relative before the shooting.

"She was a great example of what a Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter and Niece should be and touched so many others lives," the page read. "She was long time member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and we looking forward to seeing her in the resurrection that Jesus taught us about."

LeRocque was one of 59 people killed and 527 who were wounded Sunday night after Stephen Paddock opened fire from his hotel room 32nd floor room at the Mandalay Bay Resort and sprayed bullets onto a crowd of more than 22,000 people at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

The GoFundMe page was created by LeRocque's aunt, Gloria Murdock, who wrote that she will disperse the funds raised. By Tuesday morning, the page had raised more than $3,000.

In a Facebook post, LeRocque's sister, Korina Champagne, said it still did not seem real that she lost her sister to the violence in Las Vegas.

"My heart is broken, I'm numb, I feel paralyzed," she wrote. "All I can do is turn to God's Word for comfort, just as she would want me to. May she rest now until her name is called and she is awakened in paradise."
