Constantine is a name you’ve likely heard.

He became the Roman Caesar who’d pronounced 

himself leader of those who bore Christ’s name.

 

History does speak as to how he schemed

in the cause of his much needed unity;

designed to support his spreading Empire.

 

He saw a truly peaceful religion,

dwelling over all the Roman Empire.

All required was to add false beliefs.

 

Perfection! A Christian Roman Empire.

Pagan Rome overwhelming pure worship.

Rome was the government, and rulers rule.

 

Early Christians, “the means to Pagan ends,”

saw First Century teachings, worship, beliefs,

as negotiated within the Great

 

Harlot of Revelation, (now sterile).

Who has had her way with the Kings of the earth,

entertaining their every whim and wish.

 

But now, the scarlet beast turns to attack.

Her foretold destruction is fast approaching,

in the short time left for all to take note

          

it ticks away,                                  ticks away!
