1290 and 1335 days

And as for you, o Daniel, make secret the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many [it] will flow, and the [true] knowledge will become abundant" - Daniel 12: 4

In Daniel 12:11, 12 says ... "11" And from the time when the [sacrifice] was continuously suppressed and has been placed the disgusting thing that causes desolation, there will 1290 days.

12 "Happy is he who waits and who gets to 1335 days!"

This part is crucial to complete the picture of Revelation.

Meanwhile, brush up your memory on the basis of what he said / says the Slave about these days.
The 1290 days would from January 1919 to September 1922 as in 1919 members of the Society were released and from that moment began to make progress until 1922 ... year in which it held that historic convention in Cedar Point (Ohio) who gave tremendous boost to the preaching work (these would be 1290 days).
After these days add other 1335 days getting to the May 1926, when the anointed "reach a happy state" because there are no more "nostalgic" (brothers who still regretted Russell and even studied the Bible through the "studies Scriptures ") was presented the book" Liberation "(1926) and other details.
All this is shown in the book "Prophecies of Daniel" on pages 298-305.
By the way, to match these dates day were "greatly rounded" (Rutherford and his associates were released March 26, 1919, not January 1919; see Watchtower, 5/16/2016 all ' article entitled "to whom was entrusted the work"), but even more importantly the writing of Daniel, after mentioning the 1290 days, he says, "Happy is he who waits and who gets to 1335 days!" - Daniel 12: 12
"Getting to ..." means to add to what was there before.
This means that if one speaks of 1290 days and then it says "reaches 1335 days" we must add another 45 days and no other 1335 days.
You would think that by applying the prophecies to meetings or conferences or publications or special resolutions, any number should appear in the Bible, forcing even the date of start and end with some semantic game, definitely would fall on something important.
However we try to read just what it says forgetting what we know or think we know.
Meanwhile, in the last two chapters of Daniel we talk about this "disgusting thing" and a king who says "wonderful things and blasphemies." It is said that this king was to wage war against the saints and would have made trip or won it and it would come to the holy mountain of Adornment - Daniel 11: 32-45
These important details, without any forcing, bring us back to the book of Revelation in particular chapters 11 to 13.
Also Daniel 12: 1 speaks of Michele that would arise in favor "of the children of Daniel's people" and would thus began a time of distress "as we have not made it happen will be that there was nation" - Daniel 12: 1; Matthew 24:21; Revelation 24:12
It 'all too obvious that Daniel and John are talking about the same length of time.
Starting from this assumption, therefore, also the days described in two books must fit together.
However Daniel speaks of 1290 days while Revelation speaks of 1260.
Why?
The question of Daniel is ... "What will be the final part of these things?" - Daniel 12: 6
In practice, Daniel, troubled by everything I saw, dev and have wondered when it would be over ( ie when the disgusting thing would eventually crush the holy people, and when it would end this political system warmonger).
The angel replied ... "From the time that the disgusting thing that causes desolation, there will be 1290 days" - Daniel 12:11 the daily sacrifice and has been placed has been deleted
So before you go any further, we must take a series of questions.
1) Those who offered continuous sacrifices?
2) What is the modern counterpart?
3) What is the disgusting thing?
4) Comparing with the book Revelation, when the daily sacrifice is abolished? We should now be able to answer these questions.
1) They were the Levitical priests to offer sacrifices.
2) The modern counterpart is the Christians who preach (we assume those who have special positions in the congregation, elected or potential, but the sacrifice we offer is, in fact, the preaching work - Hebrews 13:15)
3) The disgusting thing in Revelation, is the wild beast that ascends from the abyss (the same one that will destroy Babylon the Great) but was also the Anglo-American empire, the Russia-China block or any other political force, l ' event which interests us in this context is the in the daily sacrifice suppression (ie the killing of two witnesses in sackcloth).
4) then comparing the book of Revelation ... we examine the following.
The abolition of the daily sacrifice (that is, the preaching work done by the elect) is described in chapter 11 of Revelation when, "the wild beast that ascends from the abyss will make war against them and conquer them and kill them" - Revelation 11: 7
It 'just that the time when the daily sacrifice is abolished? It seems so because then they feel loud voices in heaven saying: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ," and then we talk about the birth of the child (the kingdom of God).
So this is the event from which to count 1290 days.
These 1,290 days are "the final part of these things," that is, the last acts of this system of things according to the request made by Daniel.
We know that once cast out Satan on earth (next event to the killing of two witnesses in sackcloth) he gives to the beast all of his power and authority, and Revelation 13: 5 says that it will have the authority to act for 42 months.
These 42 months, or 1260 days, are the same as mentioned in chapter 11 where the angel tells John to "leave out the court which is outside the temple sanctuary" because it would have been given to the nations which would have stepped on him, in fact, for 42 months.
To recap ...
First there is the preaching of the two witnesses in sackcloth.
The disgusting thing or wild beast, is described in Daniel that in Revelation, suppresses the continuous sacrifice when kills them (Revelation 11: 7; Daniel 12:11); by this time you have to count 1290 days which lead to the "end of these things."
The wild beast is free to step on the court for 42 months (ie 1260 days; see Revelation 13: 5) and then we have to ask: what happens between the death of the two witnesses and the time when Satan gives the beast all of his power ( which will act, trampling the people of God, for 42 months)?
So, we read ...
" 15  And the seventh angel blew his trumpet. And there were loud voices in heaven, saying: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever." 16  The twenty-four elders who were seated before God on their thrones fell upon their faces and worshiped God, 17  saying: "We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have began to reign. 18  The nations were angry, and thy wrath came, and the appointed time for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets, and saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great, and ruined reduce those ruining the earth. "19  And [the sanctuary of] the temple of God that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in [the sanctuary of] his temple. And lightnings and voices and thunders and an earthquake and great hail.
12 And a great sign was seen in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars, 2  and she was pregnant. She cries out in her pains and in her travail to give birth.
3  And there was seen another sign in heaven, and behold, a great fiery-colored dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads; 4  and its tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and threw them to the ground. And the dragon was held before the woman who was about to give birth, to devour her child when it was born. 5  And she bore a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up unto God and His throne. 6  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed thousand two hundred sixty days. 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels battled 8  but it did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven. 9  And the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down upon the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10  And I heard loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ, because cast down the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. "
The death and resurrection of the two witnesses of the kingdom of the world becomes truly the kingdom "of our Lord and of his Christ" because it was born the Kingdom of God (now sufficiently complete in the number of the elect) and start the purification of the heavens and the judgment on land.
In fact chapter 12 speaks of the birth of the child.
Then war broke out in heaven and Satan is cast down to earth.
Since then it has indeed "a short period of time" because he can play with his beast, only for another 42 months - Compare Revelation 24:12 and 13: 5 with Revelation 19: 19-20: 2
So if the spiritual resurrection takes place in a "jiffy" 30 days is the period that includes the birth of the Kingdom of God and the duration of the war in heaven or less.
In harmony with this, 30 days were the period of time in which God's people mourned the death of Aaron (the first High Priest) - Numbers 20:29
Then, after a break of 30 days , the new High Priest began to officiate.
The death of the two witnesses, "clothed in sackcloth" leads to an interruption of the priestly services for 30 days (they are resurrected as 3.5 days later but obviously can not begin to officiate at once because you have to cleanse the skies).
This difference of 30 days are the days shortened that Jesus spoke of as the great tribulation begins immediately after the killing of the two witnesses - See Matthew 24:22
Satan and his demons, in fact, will be busy fighting a war in heaven that they will lose, but it will keep them busy for a while '.
Even at the time of the early Christians of the tribulation days they were cut short in the bud and not towards the end; the withdrawal of the Roman armies (which took place at the beginning of the siege) allowed Christians to "flee to the mountains" and save his life.
From this we can derive the great tribulation period which begins when Satan is cast down to earth, just 30 days after the ' killing of two witnesses , and lasts 42 months.
Finally the angel concludes ... "Happy is he who waits and who gets to 1335 days!" Daniel 12:12
Why did you become happy?
Evidently because, after the disgusting thing has unleashed its fury on the whole people of God, now is the time of God's judgment on the beast, and all the rest of the world.
This should be the time period mentioned by Isaiah saying ... "Go, my people, enter your inner rooms, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a brief moment until the complaint has passed "- Isaiah 26:20
45 days are actually a few more days compared to 40 days of time when the nation of Israel would have to wander in the desert to the promised land.

So the premise that ...
If the story of Revelation is in chronological order (as it sounds), and if the 1290 days of Daniel are the 1260 days (+30) of Revelation ...
1) The general resurrection (spiritual) will start only after the killing of two witnesses in sackcloth described in Revelation 11.
2) This will allow the birth of the Kingdom of God.
3) Only at the birth of the Kingdom of God, war broke out in heaven which will last 30 days or less.
4) The great tribulation will begin 30 days after the killing of the two witnesses, and that is the end of the war in heaven.
5) The great tribulation will last 42 months which are also "short period of time" left to Satan to act.
6) Armageddon will begin at the end of these 42 months and will last 45 days (the "short report" when the people of God will close its internal rooms - Isaiah 26:20)

IT'S OUTRAGEOUS!!! THE WICKED PLACE EVEN MAKES BABIES WORK!!!!

Bethel has a long history of child labor: (Genesis 35:16) 16 Then they pulled away from Bethʹel. . . .  Rachel began to give birth, and her labor was very difficult. And wickedness too:

Nope, you are not going to derail US into an off topic discussion!! Not falling for that!

Why don't you go to work on what this scripture means:

"For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter to his servants the prophets" Amos 3:7

To most of us, I suppose this verse means wait and see what the Governing Body tell us about this. And the Governing Body has already told us that they think these numbers refer to some time periods in the 1910's and 1920's. So there is nothing to discuss.

I would add that it's the personal responsibility of each one of us to let our reasonableness be made known to all.

  • (Philippians 4:5) 5 Let your reasonableness become known to all men. . . .
  • (Romans 12:1, 2) . . .present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, a sacred service with your power of reason. 2 And stop being molded by this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, so that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For me, if there is no contradiction with other Bible verses or Bible prophecies and our traditional explanations are presented as likely scenarios based on good evidence -- and not stated dogmatically -- then this is reasonable enough to accept without being too concerned. A wait and see attitude is a good thing, especially if we have nothing specific to offer as a viable replacement for the current explanation.

But there are a couple problems with the current scenario that could reasonably be questioned. Should we question it then? If we see an issue, or a contradiction with the current scenario, should we let our reasonableness become known to all men? If someone has pointed out something that might be reasonably wrong with our current thinking are we under any obligation to "make sure of all things"? Or are we under scriptural obligation to sit and wait for "the prophets"?

Today we tell everyone that Jehovah did one of the most important things he has ever done in all of human history in the year 1914. Yet if Amos 3:7 is appropriately applied above, we should have expected that Jehovah would not have done this unless he had previously told his servants, the prophets. Yet, not one person in advance of 1914 had any such thing revealed to them. Even after 1914 came and went not one person was able to say what had happened that year. There was no prediction in advance of 1914 that Jesus would become present in that year (still considered 1874) or that his kingdom would start in that year (still 1878). Not one prediction for the year 1914 turned out to be correct, not even the idea that the Gentiles would no longer trample literal Jerusalem, because those Gentile times had now ended.

So what does it really mean to say that Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter to his prophets? Who are his prophets today? What does it mean to be a prophet who has Jehovah's confidential matters revealed? Also, just because Amos said this in reference to a specific upcoming judgment, does it mean that these specific words are applicable to all future judgments. What if Jesus were to tell us that another future specific judgment would come as a thief in the night? Does that mean that this particular verse becomes wrong? or that Jesus was wrong?

What about the rest of Amos 3, or the entire book? Is all of it generic to apply to all future prophetic scenarios, or only especially verse 7?

So far, I'd say that it is reasonable to question the current explanations, because if there is a contradiction then this would mean that our belief might be contradicting the Bible and we should be careful not to contradict the Bible. But I will also say that I think the explanation given is not fully reasonable either.

And on the issue of requiring that if we find a problem, we should be required to find something better, this is the best scenario, but it should not be required. The first step is to see if there really are contradictions and therefore be noble-minded enough to "test" whether these things are so. We could always send our questions to the Governing Body to see if they can come up with a scenario that does not create contradictions.

I note that we have been asked to focus on the topic of today's anointed "prophets" in the current Bible reading. So far, in a much more reasonable way than we were asked to focus on today's anointed "prophets" in the years leading up to 1975.

 TREASURES FROM GOD’S WORD | JOEL 1-3

“Your Sons and Your Daughters Will Prophesy”

Anointed Christians share in the work of prophesying. They speak about “the magnificent things of God” and proclaim the “good news of the Kingdom.” (Ac 2:11, 17-21; Mt 24:14) The other sheep support them by participating in this work

Ask yourself, ‘How can I support the anointed in their work of prophesying?’

Dear Brothers, we must make sure of everything in the light of scripture - 1 Thessalonians 5:21; 2 Corinthians 13: 5

I am willing to question any statement. I'm not inspired and I have no pretending infallibility.
However, it is incorrect to have a passive attitude towards prophecies and the Bible in general - 1 Thessalonians 5:20

We have the duty of studying the Bible, meditating and praying to understand it.

it is wrong to think that the others must always be doing it for us. We have a responsibility. I want to remember that even the judgment will be personal - Romanos 14:10

What has been written can be objected and discussed. I am willing to discuss and even retract if Scripture convinces me that we must do it.

Unfortunately, many brothers have an attitude of subjection to the one who takes the directive. You can not object, you can not discuss anything that comes "from above".
Does our total loyalty go to a group of people or to the word of God?
The Word of God says that we must seek, dig, engage - Proverbs 2: 1-5

Some prophecies are fulfilling under our nose and almost no one realizes it. Kids wait for someone to tell them what to do.

But God has given us the Bible and said to use our faculty to reason.

If anyone wants to contest the article is free (and encouraged) to do so. Together we can get to understand something more.
However, every challenge must have the support of the Bible. it is pointless to make a "political forum" where everyone says what he thinks. Every subject must be supported by sacred scriptures.

We don't have prophets at this time @Gone Fishing. The complete Bible is our prophet now. Anyone can read it and grasp its message. You don't need any "special" humans to unlock its message.

Thanks Noble Berean for your answer and for pasting the pattern.
The speech of 1290 and 1335 days is much longer and it is perfectly matched by Daniele's "2300 evenings and mornings".
Now I save the image you posted and I'll check if it matches my research or if there are distonctions.
Thank you

Ok. I found some distonctions and even missing voices (like the duration of the war in heaven and other things.
However keep digging, dear brothers, because what happened in Russia on 20 April 2017 could be a prophecy that has come true and is happening.
Have a look.
If the prohibition extends to other nations, consider your concerns.

Yes. I corresponded with Schroeder and Swingle openly multiple times per year. Starting a couple of years before Brother Schroeder died, I started to send about one letter a year. I don't personally know any current members of the Governing Body except Brother Lett, and recently I have sent extra letters to Bro Splane on the generation, and  Bro Jackson on child punishment and child abuse. The letters are not negative, and usually fairly short (believe it or not). They always agree with everything possible, then pose a problem and ask a simple question. The letters sent to them are intended to be anonymous, and I therefore do not expect a direct answer, although I kept a P.O.Box for this purpose for a while, and I always give an email address. But sometimes the answer comes in another way.

I still speak on the phone with a couple persons (might be down to only one, now) whom I have known for years. I have had long conversations even until very recently with Fred Rusk, Ciro Aulicino, and Harry Peloyan until their health became an issue. All of them have been very well aware of my questions. And I have received many answers over the years.

The complaint is why the Watchtower is so, cryptic and secretive, yet people send in anonymous correspondence by people that “clearly” boast to know the GB, but donÂ’t, and expect the Watchtower to answer dubious questions.

Third-hand information, by someone that can be compared to the like's of COJ.

This response is the all-time betrayal to the human spirit. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Galatians 2:4

But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage.
