 BLOOD
Fluid flowing through the vascular system of humans and of most multicellular animals; dam in Hebrew, and Greek, ? ma hai. The blood supply nutrients and oxygen to all parts of the body, and debris is carried plays a key role in protecting the body against infection. Its chemical composition is so extremely complex that scientists do not yet know much about the blood.
Who applies the prohibition against eating blood?
Jehovah allowed Noah and his sons that they add animal flesh to their diet after the Flood, but strictly forbidden to eat blood. (Ge 9:1, 3, 4.)

Under the Mosaic Law. Lord joined the Law covenant made with the nation of Israel had the law given to Noah. Made clear that accused "blood guilt" anyone who does not pay attention to the procedure stipulated by the law of God even when an animal is killed. (Le 17:3, 4.) The blood of an animal that had to kill to eat spilled on the floor and covered with dust. (Luke 17:13, 14.) Whoever blood eat any meat would 'cut off from his people.' Whoever willfully violates this law concerning the sanctity of blood should be cut, that is, had to kill him. (Le 17:10; 7:26, 27; Nu 15:30, 31.)
In Christianity. The governing body of the first-century Christian congregation, led by the Holy Spirit, made a decision on the matter of the blood. The decree issued said: "For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled, and from fornication . If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you! ". (Acts 15:22, 28, 29.) Prohibition unbled included meat ("things strangled").

In this regard, Sir Isaac Newton said the following in The Chronology of Antient Kingdoms Amended (Dublin, 1728, p. 184): when the apostles and elders of the Council of Jerusalem declared that the Gentiles were not required to be circumcised and keep the law of Moses accepted this law of abstaining from blood and from things strangled as a previous law of God, imposed not only to Abraham, but to all nations, while they lived together in Shinar under the dominion of Noah: and of the same class is law to abstain from meats offered to idols or false gods, and from fornication. "(Italics his.)

Observed from apostolic times. The Jerusalem Council sent its decision to the Christian congregations to observe. (Acts 16:4.) About seven years after the Jerusalem Council issued the decree, Christians were obeying the "decision of the [saved] from things sacrificed to idols as well as blood and from what is strangled and from fornication. " (Acts 21:25.) And more than one hundred years later, in 177 CE, in Lyon (now France), when the enemies of Christians falsely accused of eating children, a woman named Bíblida said: "How could feed a child if even these people are allowed to eat the blood of irrational animals? ". (Ecclesiastical History of Eusebius, V, I, 26.)
Tertullian (c. 160-230 CE) said in his book The Apology (Blades editions, Madrid, Prado German translation, chap. IX [13, 14], p. 47, 48): "Blush your error before Christians, which in our succulent banquet admit even the blood of animals and for this very reason we abstain from eating animals drowned or killed, not to become contaminated with some blood, even that was inside the meat. One way that you employ also testing the Christians is present boots [or, as other translators, sausages] bloody, convinced that it is forbidden and that is half of them leave the right path. "
By faith in Christ, Christians have cleaned your conscience from dead works, so that may render sacred service to the living God. They are interested in their physical health, but mainly interested and more spiritual health and its position before the Creator. They want to maintain their integrity and living God, not denying the sacrifice of Jesus, not count it of no ordinary value hollarlo underfoot, then look no life that is transitory, but eternal life. (Heb 9:12, 14, 15, 10:28, 29.)
